I can't say enough about how much I love Shine. My therapist is Sarah Combs. She is a true professional with an amazing knowledge of the structure of the human body and a very peaceful and reassuring presence. She has helped me overcome chronic pain both through massage therapy and by helping me to understand and react to the warning signs of stress and tension in my muscles. I recommend her to everyone of my friends who tell me that they are looking for a massage therapist. Don't spend another day in pain, make an appointment today.

I had a massage with Sally today and it surpassed all my expectations! I called her asking for a massage because my pain/tension was starting to get in the way of my work, and she booked me for the next morning. She gave me so much good advice before, during, and after my massage to help me get exactly what I wanted from it, and manage my pain/tension in the future. And the massage was amazing! I felt comfortable enough to ask questions and speak up about what I liked/disliked, which I don’t usually feel during a professional massage. She read my body really well and hit all the spots I really needed. Afterwards I could definitely notice I had a lot less tension and I feel more confident that I can help my body heal and get back to playing the violin. Thanks so much Sally!!!

Hidden gem. Tucked in a medical office complex but the ambience once you walk in is very relaxing and classy. I have had massages at Massage Envy (over priced and not satisfactory) plus other studios around D.C. This is my favorite by far due to pricing, ambience, appointment availability and convenient location with abundant free parking.

I made an appointment and filled out new client paperwork. An appointment reminder arrived in my mailbox 2 days prior to my schedule time. Upon arrival at the Solon the suite door was locked. I had arrived 10 min. before my scheduled time so waited in a chair in the hallway. After checking the locked door several time, I used the email and tried to phone. I waited a half hr then left. The massage had already been paid for through Groupon so I called Groupon and was refunded in Groupon bucks. Have heard nothing from Ter Shon Hayward.

Wonderful relaxing place to visit. I found them originally in Riverdale, but have followed them to their new location in College Park. The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient with parking. They also run different sales if you sign up for their mailing list. Perfect gifts for the holidays or birthdays or even just because. Give them a visit and your soul will Shine a little brighter!

I decided to try out Shine Massage and Wellness after moving nearby from a high income neighborhood in D.C. with a plethora of fancy massage facilities. I wasn't expecting to be wowed by the staff, but since massage is a very important of my wellness as a breast cancer survivor I tried them out. I was amazed by the two massage therapists I booked, and have been making appointments every 3-4 weeks for the past year. I'm so glad to have found Sarah C. and Shine Massage and Wellness.
