Scheduled a massage with 'Jesse' to help with a back issue. They texted me to cancel the appointment 45 minutes prior for 'snow' despite the fact that it was only raining. Not sure these guys actually want business...?

My daughter purchased a $100.00 certificate for me last year at the Frederick location. When I called to use it in early April they said they could not honor it - it was no longer any good. And that I had waited too long - it had not been a full year!?!?. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Poor business practice but I guess they can get away with it.

The staff up front that handle scheduling and the therapist are Second to none. By far the best massage therapy in Frederick. I highly recommend going in. Even if it's your first time or you been receiving massage therapy for 20 years. I especially recommend working with anyone up front. They're extremely knowledgeable about the different therapist and are super helpful. I felt that my needs were just as important to them as it was for me. On top of all that they're extremely affordable and I feel amazing after each session. Thanks Massage Envy for exceptional service week in amd week out!

I got appointment for 3 weeks ago but they didn't tell me anything until right in the afternoon on that day they called me but I was at work so I couldn't pick up the phone . I thought they just call to confirm my appointment bc i didn’t see any message. When I came there they said they called me to make me know they couldn't do that already but I didn't pick up the phone so anyway i go home .... I never go back there

First I will admit this one is better than Gaithersburg location, that being said if your black, prepare to be asked about BLM. I take my fiance there for her bday and she told me her that her masseuse brought up BLM and other awkward things. Not to mention she was shocked my fiance did not care much for BLM. Masseuse also talked police issues (or an issue she had with police) and insulting republicans...which her and I are criminal justice majors, I'm a Republican and my fiance even said that it was a little racist bringing up BLM and the way she presented herself...we laughed about it, but I decided to leave a review anyways to inform them and people. Masseuse was decent apparently, but if they wanna do a better job, maybe they should talk about casual fun things...not stuff that customers may be or want to do. At this point I'm shocked her masseuse didn't insult the military as the topping on the cake. 3stars but if I decide to go back, I'll add another review on that experience.

We love getting a couples massage at Massage Envy for date night. We have always had a good experience with our massages.The front desk staff are always friendly. The only downside is we signed up for a membership we are stuck in because any credits you have built up you don't get to keep of you cancel...

Everyone is so friendly. Everytime I walk in the door the staff greets me by name and makes me feel very comfortable. My massage technician is the absolute best ever. I try to make it in at least once a week and sometimes more. This is the best deal for anything in all of Frederick!

The massage was good except that the therapist was very chatty and talked the first 30 minutes, so I could not relax, but had to respond to her questions about my job. Then, once the massage was done and I was feeling very nice, the front desk clerk was horrible about hard selling me products and memberships and the next massage. I asked the girl to back off that this was not a way to win a client when one was feeling nice and like jello, but she kept on. I will not be back.

BEST massage I've ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed every acpect of my personalized massage but I will never visit this location company again and have encouraged my friends to avoid it as well. My first massage was $59.99 and my appointment was made because I had received a gift card from someone who had worked hard to give me this gift in love. Immediately following my massage I was HARASSED by staff to join their membership program. I was pressured into giving more of my money now for this membership program and was threatened that if I did not do so at that moment that I would then face a $60 membership fee on top of the $70/month membership dues if I would decide to join later. I felt embarrassed and angry when I left and never want another person to feel this way. What's worse is that now that I've used my "Introductory" rate for my 1st massage, if someone would ever give me another gift card for $75 it wouldn't come close to covering the "regular" price of $120.00/hour. I'll be happy to take the time to commute to another competitor who won't bully me into giving them more money than is deserved or appropriate.

This location is by far the best massage location I have ever been to, and it is now the only one i go to. The other locations and companies I have gone to, have been terrible. I only go to this location, and I only go to Donnie. Donnie is by far the best I have ever been to, hes a really cool chill dude thats specializes in deep tissue which I need. But I am also rating this so high because the front end staff is always so nice and helpful. They have helped me find several products from the front which are well priced and very useful. I have recommend this to friends and family and everyone has loved this location.
