Sara fraudulently charged my card $180 and when I spoke to her over the phone, she said someone had used my card over the phone to book an appointment but never showed. I told her my card was stolen and reported it to my bank. She said she would refund me but fought the bank claim. She is seeing this fraudulent charge through because she wants the $180. Be careful when using your card information here.

NOLA Bliss was wonderful for a couples massage. My husband had the ashiatsu massage and I had a deep tissue massage. Both therapists were friendly, knowledgeable, and outstanding at their craft.

Great spot in downtown NOLA that isn’t a hotel. Have had two massages by two different people and both were great. One change needed- ability to book 60min massage via website. I'd go much more often if this was available. 90min is usually too long.

I just had a massage from Sue. There are good massage therapists and there are gifted massage therapists. Sue is truly gifted. She provides the perfect balance of intuition, strength/deep tissue and relaxation. She is very knowledgeable about the body but also just knows where to take the massage. That was one of the best massages I've ever had and my body feels amazing. I highly recommend her and this place.

Before my visit I was living with a pain in my neck and upper shoulder for over a year and now after my session it is gone! I slept so good last night and I feel like a new woman! I had the Ashiatsu session yesterday and it was amazing!!! The spa is also relaxing and inviting as soon as you walk in.

Had a quick drop in to New Orleans and was in need of a good massage. I ended up having a 60min ashiatsu, one of the best massages I've ever had! Highly recommend them, they're educated and lean more towards clinical massage than the regular massage therapists.

I went with the traditional massage, and my boyfriend tried the The Ashiatsu Massage. My massage therapist talked to me beforehand to learn where I usually had issues, and she really focused on making sure that she spent adequate time on these areas. I wasn't feeling great when I walked in there that morning...but I felt absolutely amazing by the time that I left. The staff was very friendly overall. When I originally tried to call to make an appointment, no one answered, but I immediately received a text message saying that I would receive a call back shortly. About 20 minutes later, someone did call me back and helped make my reservation. You can also book online if you prefer. I'm not sure of the parking situation, as we just walked from our hotel. You will need to be buzzed into the building, but this is all communicated on their website and in your confirmation emails. You definitely need to book your massage in advance. We both enjoyed our separate massages and highly recommend this location if you are looking to book a massage!

I had a wonderful first-experience at Nola Bliss Massage. They were able to accommodate my last-minute request and schedule me for an appointment less than two hours after my call. The establishment is clean and staff is professional. Betsy was the therapist who worked on me and she was phenomenal. I told her my neck had been bothering me, gave her a brief description of the pain I have been experiencing and she spent the entire session focused on that area. I feel great!!! I would without a doubt recommend Nola Bliss! You cannot park on Lafayette Street, so I would also recommend finding a spot on Tchoupitoulas or Girod St. and walking over!

I would not recommend this place because of the following: • In a very noisy neighborhood and it sounds like the windows are open in the massage rooms; unable to relax peacefully unless you like to hear horns blowing and alarms going off • Price is too high for the quality; you will leave feeling greasy and there is no shower to rinse off • Owner (Sara) walked around and didn’t even ask customers about experience To top that, I left with a headache and the same neck cramp I had in the beginning which prompted the appt

She seems to know just where to focus her attention with very little feedback from me. Today I went to her because I'm 7.5 months preggo and have bene suffering from terrible sciatica. I really enjoyed my massage, the reason for the 3 out of 5 is because they didn't have any hot towels after being oiled up and they didn't have any aroma therapy during the massage. The table was very comfortable and the massage was great. I would recommend, hopefully they add these to the experience and it would truly make it a remarkable experience.

The girls here know what they're doing. A lot of massage places do something that feels good, a light massage, but isn't actually getting my blood flowing, circulating and clearing toxins out of my body, promoting new muscle tissue growth. The massage here hurts, quite honestly. But in a good way. If you've ever gotten an athletic massage, you know what I mean. You feel sore, you re-hydrate afterwards, and then you feel REALLY good in the coming days following the massage.

Stay away from this place and the nutty owner Sara. I paid hundreds for a hot room and sweaty "couples massage" even with the groupon. When i called about the experience she denied any of it happening then she freaked out at me when I mentioned a refund for such a horrible experience. She's cooked lol. I can't believe I experienced such a horrible time during massage and trying to get a refund! Dont risk it your hard earned money for an unsatisfactory experience with potential headaches. Edit: i love how she attacks with lies me even on public sites! Showing her true colors isn't she LOL. Poor lady must have something wrong with her head.

I wish I could review based on the quality of the massage, however I didn't get that far. My fiancée and I were in NOLA for our 5 year anniversary and thought a couples massage would be a great addition to our trip, so we booked with Nola Bliss as they are very highly rated. Upon our arrival, being buzzed in we were followed by a woman, who as it turns out was to be working at Nola Bliss. While waiting in the waiting area we could over hear everything being said, such as "I'm so glad you found the place", "it being valentine’s day weekend we are very over booked", I'm glad you could fill in today" and several other indications that she had never been there before and had never been interviewed. As we sat and waited (we showed up a bit early) we were offered beverages several times, everyone seemed extremely nice, however that changed quickly. We were brought to our room for our massage, they apologized about the wait (not an issue as we did show up early and were ask back at out reserved time) it became apparent that one of the masseuses we had was the woman that had been there a few minutes less than us, the woman that had zero experience at Nola Bliss. We apologized but voiced our concerns to the more seasoned Nola Bliss masseuse (with blue hair), we told her that we had come to Nola Bliss for their near 5 star reviews and we did not want to have a masseuse that had never worked there. She assured us that while it may be her first day (first 30minutes in the building) she was an experience masseuse. We told her we understood that and it was no reflection or judgment on the woman that had just started, but the reason we came here was for their reviews, this woman had yet to perform a single massage here, the woman we were speaking with could not attest to the quality of her work as they had only just met. The woman with blue hair that we were speaking with seemed annoyed and became argumentative. She said she would get her manager which she probably should have done from the start as her customer service skills seem to be lacking a bit. The woman that had just started apologized and assured us she was not offended and that she completely understood our perspective. The manager was not there but rushed back; she apologized, explained she was the founder, most of the reviews were about her and said she would do the massage herself. We were very happy with this offer and excited to start our massages. Then the woman with blue hair returned to tell us she would be the other masseuse, with a very poor attitude she asked, "Focus area? Pressure?” Then folded back the sheet on one of the tables, said she would be right back and stepped out of the room. With that we elected to cancel this massage as someone that would give that much attitude at what we thought was a perfectly acceptable and legitimate concern should not and would not be getting any of our hard earned money. This is by no means a review of the quality of the massages offered, as we did not receive any, but a recount and review of poor customer service.

I woke up with an incredibly painful strain in my neck and a cross country flight the same day. I was desperate for relief and booked a massage at NOLA Bliss. Kennedy is a miracle worker. She has a deep knowledge of anatomy and how the muscles and nervous system interact. By the time my hour was up, I was almost entirely pain free. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I went for a couples massage, and requested a deep tissue. I got the male and my husband got the female. My husband's massage was great. However. Mine was very disappointing. He barely stayed on any one spot for more than a few minutes with very little pressure applied..and didn't massage my ankles or feet at all. Maybe my expectations were too high for my first massage (especially it being $90 for 60 minutes) but unfortunately I walked away extremely unsatisfied.

Holy Cow! Bliss is exactly how my Hubby and I felt when we got massages from Andrea and Ingrid. Visiting for our anniversary we were lucky enough to get next day appointments. Beautiful space and super welcoming team. As a person who gets massages monthly (sometimes more when I travel), these ladies were on point. Hubby's back pain vanished (which our chiropractor has been helping with) and my kink in my neck was gone. Never has pain relief been that quick for us. I can't recommend these ladies and spa enough if your in New Orleans. I know I'll see them every time I come for business. Will try the ashiatsu massage next time for sure!

I had never had Ashiatsu massage and now I can't imagine anything better. Sara is extremely knowledgeable on the muscular system and human body, she works with all comfort levels (I like deep pressure), she's very professional and completely personable. I leave not only feeling phenomenonal but my sore spots, tight muscles, knots, and issue areas disappear. I started seeing her when I was trying to conceive, throughout my pregnancy and after. You will NOT find a better massage therapist in NOLA!!!!!!!
