Can’t get anyone to answer when I call. Have called multiple times during their business hours, also don’t return phone calls if you leave a message.

This school is a beautiful and high integrity program. The owners are good human beings and care. The facility is beautiful and peaceful and the faculty and staff are very competent and passionate. Students get out of the program what they put into it, but if you love helping people, making a difference and are looking for a fulfilling career.......I believe East-West is your school. I own a massage therapy program myself, and love hiring therapists from this program.

I am a Spring 2012 graduate of East-West School and I can't say enough wonderful things about the school! I enrolled in the 1,000 hour program in Feb 26 2011 and graduated April 26 2012 (I took 2 months off during the program). I went as a full-time, day student, and finished (technically) in a year. I passed my MBLEx on April 27, 2012!!!! The core program of Massage Therapy is intense, as it should be, but there is a lot of support along the way. The instructors are very knowledgable and the textbooks are very good. You develop bonds with students as well, as you all learn and grow together as you various techniques and practice on each other. In addition to these tools, there are several free websites that help with anatomy and review for the exams. I received scholarships and a discount for paying in full, and feel that I received a solid education for my money. As part of the tuition payment, I received an Earthlite Spirit Massage Table and table warmer (the best table as far as I'm concerned), my books, and a Hot Stone heater and stone set. The electives are outstanding, and many I had not even heard of prior to coming to East-West. My passion lies in Reiki and energy work. I had toured another local school and found that they only offered a few electives in energy work. If I wanted to pursue this area, I would have had to find classes on my own to take. At East-West, the course offerings are readily available, and in some cases, you can retake the electives, (which is GREAT because there is SO much awesome information). I was also very pleased to have such a variety of electives to choose from. Some of the courses I took were not as interesting to me as other courses, but they proved just as valuable because they helped me hone my area of interest. And honestly, I learned something of value in every class, whether I will use the technique or not in my business. The staff of East-West is exceptional. Kristen and Sunil are phenomenal people. While I attended, they were available daily. They have now stepped back a little to build other areas of their business, and have hired graduates and staff members from their other companies to help operate the school. These people, along with the instructors, really are the backbone to the student's education and skill development. All of them truly care about the student. Each staff and instructor has their own unique gifts and strengths that contribute to more than a "book education" - they bring a "life education". I also had the priviledge of learning from some very amazing instructors who no longer teach there, but passed on their love for massage, ayurveda, anatomy and a host of other topics. Thank you East-West for them! If you are considering a career in massage therapy, you truly owe it to yourself to tour the facility, talk to the staff, and feel for yourself the awesome energy that is housed there. You will find like-minded people who have passions similar to yours, who want to make a difference in the world, and want to open minds to healthier ways of thinking. One of the most interesting things I found was in my class of 14, there were about 4 of us interested in energy work, and the rest were interested in other areas. So don't think you are going to graduate from a program and join a host of other "massage therapists". There are so many areas you can specialize in (or integrate as I do) and be as different from (or akin to) another massage therapist as you like. It's all up to you and your vision! Good luck! Aside from a hug or a handshake, how else have you been touched today? East-West School of Integrative Arts will be your welcome respite from the stress of the week. Softly, the meditative music will play while East West's therapists-in-training massage and knead your tight, worn, underused, or injured muscles. As a loyal client for nearly three years, I value and continue to be amazed by how effective the entire East-West team is in restoring your energies--physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your journey to stress release begins in the waiting room where you are warmly welcomed and staff begin assessing your specific preferences and needs. Once on the table, the Swedish and Shiatsu sessions are so good that I have to remind myself that this is a school and that these are students. The students' professionalism and healing touch is a testimony to the training they receive from expert faculty. I was a full-time student at East West in the 1000 hour program. It took me one year to finish and I just passed my licensing exam! My experience at East-West was amazing from the moment my husband and I met with Kristen and Katie to decide if East-West was for me, to my last day of classes. My husband still talks about how impressed he was with our initial meeting with Kristen and Katie and couldn't be more happy for me knowing that I was in good hands. Enrolling in the 1000 hour program was the best decision I made, as I don't know how I would have chosen between the array of electives offered. Each of the instructors at the school provide such unique insight and instruction and make you feel important. Having a professional career in place already prior to enrolling at East-West, professionalism was important to me. East-West exceeded my expectations in professionalism and recognizes the field of massage therapy as a professional career that begins with your education. I am proud to be an Alumni of East-West and look forward to continuing my education and career with such amazing staff and instructors.
