I think this place is amazing. It is clean and professional. It is not overdone with the whole “Zen” theme and bunch of unnecessary frills: it is all about a good professional massage. I am very particular about being treated by a real professional and I am convinced that Victoria is one of the best in the trade. Vicky does a wonderful job and she has been able to help me with various back problems on multiple occasions. After the first five minutes of your first session you just know that you are in the hand of a true professional. There is a consultation that takes place before the first session: it gives you the opportunity to explain your particular needs and discuss the course of the treatment. There is also a “quick treatment review” before each subsequent session that helps to outline the main focus for this particular treatment (however there is never any pressure to have you sign up for a series of sessions like you may experience with many other massage therapists). Since I discovered this place I have my massages there on the regular basis and I am very thankful for the help and relief provided. I have been searching for a good massage therapist in my area for a while but once I found Integrative Massage Therapy – my search is over.

I have been going to Audrey for my aches and pains for over 5 years now. She works magic. Sometimes a full body massage is perfect to feel relaxed and refreshed but sometimes when I have a particularly troubled joint or area (lower back, hip, shoulder) she knows exactly how to relieve the pain and/or stretch it out. I always feel like a new person when I leave.

I've been suffering with chronic, undiagnosable pain for the past 3+ years. I've been to various specialists and undergone multiple tests/exams/treatments (not limited to bloodwork, x-rays, MRI's, physical therapy) in hope of learning where my pain originates and how to reduce it. With each passing year I have noticed the pain slowly getting increasingly worse and more intense. What started as a nuisance became a significant condition that affected my everyday life. Western doctors were unable to find the root of my pain much less even reduce it slightly. After ONE session at Integrative Massage Therapy the pain was COMPLETELY gone!! I realized that I forgot what it felt like to live without pain! I was energized, smiling and bubbly again - back to my normal self from 3 years ago! I've gone back once for a "tune-up" and was provided with tools/recommendations on what I can do to maintain this positive feeling on my own. At Integrative Massage Therapy they do not "prescribe" you to come back weekly as is often the case with physical therapy; they provide long-lasting treatment/care so that you don't have to return regularly. IMT is in the business of curing, not maintaining. One thing to remember when you go there is that you must keep an open mind and be willing to really dive into the real issues that may be holding you back from letting go of the pain. At my first session we covered a lot of ground but only because I was willing to do so. I had a consultation prior to the session and we discussed what treatment would be best given my circumstances. I was asked what I felt comfortable with and was not pushed to do anything that would be uncomfortable for me. They truly are client-driven and hope to provide long-lasting healing. I would highly recommend them to anyone including family & friends!!

I first met Vicki at IMT back in 2009. I was out on disability for neck and back issues. I had been to previous massage therapists but I would feel better for like a day and then go back to being in pain. I had read somewhere about muscle memory and a good technique to use for it was muscle release technique. When I did a internet search for it, I found IMT. Vicki did that technique my 1st visit but she had/has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. She is very knowledgeable about the body. I started going to her weekly then as I felt better biweekly, etc. I know she is one of the reasons I was able to return to work in 2010. She was able to work out all that stagnation in my body. I only now only go to her, as needed, maybe once every couple of months. In my book, there is no comparison to any other massage therapist. She is THE BEST. She takes the time to get to know you and what your needs are and personalizes her treatment for you.
