Mary at CCMPR was amazing. I had been through various treatments for my shoulder pain and never got relief until my sessions with Mary. She taught me so much about self treatment and even nutrition. I learned so much from her and was able to incorporate simple and effective ways in my daily life to feel better. I'm very grateful and would highly recommend Mary.

Be careful. The owner in a money grab has brought in a Dr Renee Hartz who is a borderline quack. She did ineffective and unnecessary treatments and then grossly overcharged me. The charges were almost (98%) rejected by insurance. Stuck me with a huge bill. When I complained they threaten to report me to a credit agency. Beware. Too bad I guess this used to be a reputable place.

The Chicago center for myofascial pain relief is a must-see Center for anyone who has muscle pain, anyone who likes to exercise, from amateurs to professionals. These people definitely know what they're doing. They also have a large selection of retail items for purchase including Tiger Tail self care tools, Fitball USA myofascial release balls, shoe inserts, warm and cold packs, and books that explain fibromyalgia, hypermobility syndrome, and myofascial pain.

Mary is incredible! She not only treats your pain, but teaches you self-care techniques you can do at home. Wonderful facility.

This was probably my worst experience with a licensed physician. Dr. Hartz didn't do a full workup on my sciatic pain, ignoring many aspects of the restrictions associated with the issue (like for the entire course of the injury). She then turned into a salesman, trying to sell me these shoe inserts when my issue obviously wouldn't be helped by this. She obviously didn't have my best interest in mind, and only cared about making money. I do not recommend Dr. Hartz to anyone.

Mary and the team (the facility is also known as Chicago Trigger Point Center) are fantastic! I've gotten some relief from a years-old combination of diseases and injuries, more than from any other treatment modality. Mary is extremely knowledgable in her field, and I trust her enough that I brought my school-aged son to see her for his sports-specific pain issues.
