I have always loved this place but yesterday I got some work done for lower back pain and actually had to cut the massage short because of the noise- not talking about subtle or mild chatter, I'm talking loud aggressive and constant party chatter, as if they were in the room with me. I wasn't sure if it was people in the building or in the bodyworks office but when I asked the masseuse she said it was people who worked there and she apologized for their behavior. Nonetheless, they were beyond rude and noisy and absolutely ruined an otherwise good experience. I was shocked to hear they were aware there were clients in the building and just didn't care. Not sure I will ever go back there knowing that's the attitude of their staff. It's not cheap to get a massage and these women just didn't care at all that clients were in the building. Very disrespectful.

I thought this really was an unprofessional place. I do not get frequent massages, but I have had quite a few over the past five years so I do know what a good massage is. First of all, the building is shabby. The room itself was not relaxing or well decorated...the room was bright and there were a bunch of boxes being stored underneath the massage table. It was just not an atmosphere that you can relax in for a massage. My masseuse was not friendly and the massage was not good. She did not ask how the pressure was or if I had any problem areas. To top it all off my session only lasted for fifty minutes when I was paying for sixty. I don't know if the masseuse decided since I'm a college student that she didn't have to treat me professionally...but she would have certainly gotten a better tip if she had given a good massage. I will not go back. If you want a good massage in Champaign then go to Spa Envy down the road, it was MUCH better.

Exemplary service from everyone, most especially Eric Beckley! Eric worked on an extremely complicated situation with my quad/hip that took 5 months to completely rectify. During my multiple visits/week he was always so extraordinarily diligent, which is why we made progress each and every time. He was also so professional, energetic, friendly and upbeat during what was a long, painful and scary situation for me. He saved my leg, no doubt about it!

My masseuse was ill and had to cancel our appointment, but I didn't see the voicemail so I showed up anyway. After I rescheduled, the owner, who was working the desk, took 15 minutes of his own time to work on my neck. Very courteous!

I just had my left hip replaced and going to therapy but still stiff so I went to Body Works for a massage and let me tell you it was awesome. I went to work later that day and never felt better, I suggest Marcia because she very polite and professional. Can't wait for my next visit with Marcia.
