First, what i didn't like: The smell of the place is like peppermint foot lotion, which makes me think of old ladies. The oil that the woman used on me also was a nasty orange, like cheap car freshener smell. Also the sheets on the table looked worn, compared to other places nice clean linnens, they had a lumpy blanket undernear the table sheet, then the sheet that goes over you was also worn w a cotton, kid looking blanket. When it's 92 outside, the last thing I wanted was to be legit sweating under blankets. Also the music was not relaxing, have no idea what language it was in, kind of odd. What I did like: Got the deep tissue massage, she worked near my problem spots and for the most part felt good. Deep tissue usually helps with your alignment, however I don't feel this one really did. She spent a lot of time on my back and neck, hot stones were lovely, she stretched out my hip flexors well, but that then retightened my lower back. Also legs and arms were like 3 minutes each on the front, so an hour is not enough time for future reference if you want a good arm and should massage on the front. It ended very abruptly too. So decent spot, not the greatest, but definitely not bad.

If you're looking for a professional massage establishment this is definitely the place there is a lot of very nice women and a guy that works there who's amazing they always make you feel very comfortable and they are professional!! This is not one of those places where will I think you know where I'm going with this LOL as a woman I like that I don't have to deal with any Bull or weirdness. One thing I will tell you is that if you actually want to get a good good massage where they really get in there you better get more than the relaxing massage because even the one that is secondary to that I can't think of the name right now isn't very hard so I would go for deep tissue you will probably pay like $70 per 1 hour but it's totally worth it they also have a very good esthetician there who does amazing facials.

The pilate classes with Denise are very good and proffesional. She helps me understand my body, how to strengthen my core, correct my posture and how to do pilates the right way to take full advantage of them. The little adjustments that she makes in her classes have a large impact on the quality of your exercise. Denise's funny cues make the classes even more enjoyable. LOVE THE CLASSES.

I've been to well over 50 massage therapists in the last 20 years and I can say hands down this was the best deep tissue massage that either my wife or I have ever received. We're only in Chicago once a year and even though the food and the people in Chicago are amazing, our highlight is the relaxation we get from our massages!! Looking forward to 2016

Definitely best massage therapy spa on the south side!! and iam not saying that just cause I work there lol. It’s a well established long time running business with professional staff and a very welcoming and calming atmosphere. Our prices are very reasonable basically our most common and popular massage is the 1 hour Swedish so medium pressure with extra focus on areas that are more tight and that massage costs $65. Also we always run specials too so when you call to schedule your session ask the secretary if we have any specials running that week and that will always get you a wonderful deal for a great professional service. Best Deep Tissue Massage on the South Side! Received a back and neck massage from Dominik just recently and with just one treatment felt 99% pain relief. He applied ointments to help with the discomfort and also soothing hot towels at the end. I have been here three times over the past two years. My massage therapists were Dominick, Violet and Halina. All three were very good. Halina does cranial sacral therapy as well as massage therapy. The place itself is peaceful and pleasant. Prices are reasonable. There are usually specials each month that offer additional savings. It is a wonderful way to enhance your well being.

I got a full body deep tissue and hot stone massage. It was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. My massage therapist went beyond her duties and applied special cream to my sore shoulder muscles. They kept a thick warm blanket on me so I wasn't freezing during the massage and my therapist wasn't sweating. She didn't make me feel ashamed of my body but at the same time was professional and respectful. They were very nice when booking me and adjusted my time without hassle when I called back. Wonderful place.

The Atmosphere was relaxing, no pressure interaction with the front desk girl. Maria (masseuse) was very pleasant and knew what she was doing and focused on my knots and the pressure points and made me feel A LOT better than i was feeling before. I'm visiting from Arizona and I heard about Blooming Lotus from a friend, and I must say, I was extremely impressed!!! I get massages frequently from top spas in Scottsdale and I just had the best massage I've EVER had from Wioleta (Violet). She was amazing!! Highly, highly recommend. I also had a facial here and the entire experience was wonderful! I can't say enough good things. When I'm back in Illinois I will definitely be back.

Near my home so it's convenient. I usually go to Maria, but even when she is not available, I have confidence in the other practitioners because I've never had a bad massage there. Many varieties available and there are often specials and combos which may include hot stones, reflexology, or Indian head massage. Very clean and newly redecorated. I've been going there for years.
