Recently received the worst deep tissue massage I have ever had at this place. I was respectful and waited to call after the fact. Waited and heard back from the manager the next afternoon! Was offered 10 dollars off my next massage but in all reality after receiving such a terrible massage I will not be back based on this lack of accountability.. the place in the mall is much better and as a matter of fact the massage school would be a better value.. hit or miss is all I have to say.

Purchased a $99 Groupon for 30minute sauna and 60min couples massage. Called to schedule it for the following Monday on a Thursday and no problem. The receptionist was very helpful, and took down our Groupon number incase we forgot it. We arrived at 10:30am for our appointment and after filling out a basic health form (medical conditions, allergies, pressure wanted during massage, is it your first time, do you want conversation during massage, etc), we were quickly ushered into a small room with a sauna. Once in the sauna room, we were told to undress, put on robes (so plush!), push the timer button and get in. The sauna was around 123/125 degrees and had 5 preset local radio stations to enjoy while you cook yourself. We were also given each a bottle of water and towel; my husband finished his bottle 15min into a 32min sauna session. I'd consider giving 2 bottles per person or a larger bottle. While in the sauna, our masseuses knocked on the door and let us know it was time. I had Alex, he had Elyse (I think). The room we were taken into was themed Mexico with big letters on the wall and a huge photograph blown up to cover an entire wall. We un-robed and tucked ourselves into the massage table and waited for or masseuses. Alex was very nice, and let me do a back/upper-body massage instead of a full body. He initially asked if I wanted unscented or scented lotion, I asked what the scent options were and he seemed to be a bit caught off guard, maybe this isn't a question they get and just get to pick themselves? Alex often checked in regarding pressure, and adjusted as I needed. What I didn't like was in the little things: there is no locker room or changing room, you carry your stuff with you from room to room; no option to shower after; no option for oil vs lotion (hearing the pump throughout a relaxing massage can get annoying); the lights on the ceiling (although dim) in the massage room point right in your eyes when you roll over on your back - really not pleasant (maybe wall lighting would be better?). Overall the experience was well worth my $99 and if you're looking for a quick pick me up, this is the place for you.

My first massage was a couples massage. Both therapists were excellent and cost 110$ plus TIP. My second massage I felt bamboozled, price is advertised as 44.95$ but I was charged 74.99. I feel as if they took advantage when I was “massage high.” Nothing was explained. I have used massage therapy for a long time on a weekly basis and have yet to of had this type of experience until today.

Sneaky and rude business I found an awesome deal for this place on groupon and decided to book a couples massage. We were very excited only to find out they had booked us on the wrong date and tried to say it was our fault. /: When I tried to rebook they wanted to charge me a fee of $40. Also the receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. On top of all that they redeemed my groupon trying to say I used it. I had to go through groupon who thankfully gave me a refund. This business is very sneaky and does not care about their customers just about money. I hope no one else gets scammed! EDIT: The reply further proves my point as they don't have any intentions of making their wrongs, right. I hope this discourages others from making the same mistake as me and spend their money somewhere else!

My mom gave me a gift card as a gift for a 90 min scrub. The lady who did my scrub didn't come and get me till 4:50 and my appointment was at 4:30 and i showed up at 4:15 for paper work. After we walked into the room she had me undress and lay on the table. I waited 15 min for her to come back in and when she did she said " nature called". I also asked for no conversation on my paper work and she would not stop talking about my tattoos and that i had Pink panties on. As in the brand. If she was a male i would of walked out. Either way it was still uncomfortable. My 90 min service lasted 45 min. They treated me badly and i think it was because i had a gift card.

I just went and had a massage here by Mandy and let me say that that was the best massage I have ever had. Not only does she take pride in her work and makes you feel so comfortable but she is very compassionate friendly and makes you feel like you have known her for awhile. She diffintly knows what she is doing and knows how to relax you from head to toe. So if you want a fantastic feeling massage this is the place to go and be sure to ask for Mandy when you make your appointment. And she can do from a soft which I like to a firmer one if you like. I love the whole experience of being distressed by a great massage then a hot sauna. it has helped with my chronic neck and back issues. I have been seeing Tom who is a gem. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The membership is great because it makes you commit to doing something good for you at least once a month.

Omg. This was the best massage i have had. I am so glad i came accross this place. From the few calls i made, changing schedules they had me hooked. Super sweet. And my massage therapist AMANDA was absolutely amazing. Im suffering from unknown tailbone pain, and she knew exactly what to do and explained each pain i felt. Her knowledge and guidance was better then i could have imagined. I cant wait to go back and am anxious to see how i feel in the next few days. Absolutely worth my drive to that side of town. DO NOT TRUST Ahaa Massage with your FINANCIAL INFORMATION!!! We recently experienced a serious tragedy in our family and had booked a massage for our pregnant sister (who had just lost her husband). We spoke to two different staff members at ahhhh massage who took our information and asked her questions regarding her pregnancy including how far along she is. They explained we would have to pay up front before arrival. They took my credit card info, and charged me before services. We then arrived later for our appt and after checking in they told us they couldn't give us our massages because her pregnancy was not far enough along. Even though they had previously asked and cleared all the details themselves. They apologized for their mistakes, but explained they would NOT refund our money. They refused to let us speak with a manager. They refused to give us the manager's name. They refused to try and resolve it. We truly cannot believe how terribly we were treated! Ahhh! Be careful. You will be charged for their errors. I called to book and they told me I could not confirm my appointment until after I had my certificate number. So I was told to call back with the certificate number. Since I could not find the certificate I did not call. 3 days later I received a call from the owner informing me I was a no show and my certificate was cancelled. Not only my certificate but she cancelled my husbands who had nothing to do with the situation.

Good- The facility itself is great, the front office gal was super friendly. I really needed a same day appointment and lucky they had a cancellation. Bad- if I would have known I'd have drawn the straw of the same gal I had six years ago I'd have kept searching. She could be a good masseuse if she listened. The pressure and technique are great. But I asked for a specific work area and received all of about 5 minutes there. I started the appointment by saying I was having shoulder/neck trouble and headaches. No less than 4 times throughout the massage did I say the same thing. What I did NOT need was 40min of lower back work. I left massaging my own shoulders, in tears that I finally broke down and used saved money for a massage, only to leave in the same situation. I'm not naming names because the staff will already know, but lesson learned to really stand up for my needs. I have a couples massage next month (not with the same person I hope) and will make sure whomever it is knows clearly where I need the work. And I will never forget that gals name again.

Signed up for monthly massage deal since i have bad circulation and need a massage for good blood flow. I am new to the area and have been getting monthly massages for the past few years. This establishment is close to my home which makes it convenient for a monthly massage which was offered. This last massage became a bad experience though. When I first arrived I was second to a text that the receptionist was making and then was taken care by another receptionist. I was then greeted on time by my masseuse and went to a room close to the lobby. When the massage started I mentioned to her there was no music and she proceeded to start the massage which was fine until the lobby became busy and all I could hear was clients and the front staff, this proceeded to go on for a half hour until I finally had my masseuse go out and mention to the ladies up front there was no music. The music finally came on 5 minutes later and it was very soft to where I could still hear conversations. Now, I spend this time to relax my body and thus was not a relaxing massage at all! When my massage was over, I brought it up to the front desk staff and received a sorry. That did not make my wanted zen better, I was hoping that when I booked a next month appointment that they would add a half hour for the disturbance. But No. I really like my masseuse and would hate to leave and find a more zen establishment.

I love this place; the only place I go for massages. Lupe + Nancy are great. Just be aware by the time you get in the room and everything gets started it's about 45-50 minutes of actual massage time. This is not uncommon for massages in general and the rates are very fair for the time. It's just something worth knowing if you haven't been before.

My experience at Ahhh! Massage has been pleasant and rewarding. I have been a far infrared sauna client for several years, and have experienced major improvement in the level of arthritic pain and also in blood pressure equalization. Management strives hard to provide a positive customer service experience, and the staff members are always friendly and professional. In my opinion their prices are very reasonable, and a variety of programs and services is provided. While I have a massage therapist I have seen for over 20 years and cannot comment on their therapists, I have heard other clients express their satisfaction. I look forward to continuing my infrared sessions!

I love Ahhh Massage! My husband and I have gotten couples massages, including sauna, twice with them now. I have had Julio each time and he is great! Very firm pressure and adjusts quickly if the pressure is too much. My husband has had two different female massage therapists that always leave him feeling relaxed. The sauna is a nice touch too. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that I prefer a more private relaxing room and they do not have showers so I have to plan massages on non-work days. Other than that, they are incredible. It's a massage, so nice overall but this place feels more like a Dr office than a spa. No consistency to the masseuses tempo, pressure or methods. I've had a great massage here, then 3 months later had a iffy-at-best experience. Price is good, so don't let my review deter you from trying it.

Best place for a massage in my view. The women and men who work here are serious about their craft. The rooms are clean, the massage tables are very good quality with a heat option. You also have an option for the type of oil used. I signed up for the monthly hour massage, it comes out automatically and why not? I work hard! Treat yourself to this wonderful place.

10 star all the way! Class act!! I have been coming here for 3 years. I have been billed on time for my monthly program.; there was a slight misunderstanding at the beginning, I received a call from the manager to make sure if was corrected and apologized for the error. When I came in for my appointment later in the month, the co-owner came out and double checked that everything was ok on the account. That's customer service. I like that I referred a friend and she didn't need to be on the program to come in. The place is clean and such a calm serenity when you walk in. This is my one " me hour" a month and I love it. The staff has always been helpful and great. I had an appointment on valentines day, you could see it was crazy and they gave everyone the attention they deserved. I refer them to everybody.

I'm actually really surprised at how great the reviews are and very disappointed since this is why I picked this place. I showed up for my appointment 15 min early, 12:45 as asked to fill out paperwork. The woman who ended up being my therapist walked into the building at 1:05. Didn't come back up to get me until 1:10 and didn't actually start my massage until close to 1:20. Mind you I was paying for a full hour massage. I made a point of writing talking only as needed to try to get some peace and quiet after a long 6 months of being pregnant and stressed. She apparently decided to ignore this and talked through the entire massage. She talked so much about her family and things I didn't care to hear about. On top of this, every time she would talk she would pull her hands back and stop massaging me. I have a really hard time being confrontational or rude so I didn't say anything at the time but my hour scheduled massage was truly only about 20 min in total massage time and the least bit relaxing. I was so disappointed and just wanted to relax. I won't be going back and am jealous I didn't get one of the other therapists that everyone raved about. Don't get a prenatal here.
