This school is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! Do not wasting your time, money, or energy please. I attended school for a year for massage therapy. They altered my hours and i had a 96% average for my grades and 4 test left for the program to be done.and now I can't get my license. They are SUPER greedy and will take your money. Im so disgusted with the program and teachers! I worked so hard for my credits and now they're charging me $4,000 to even receive a transcript and they refuse to let me finish because i had 1 68 percent attendance due to having a kid and taking leave. WARNING!!! the administrators are snakes !!!!!!

I got my start in Skincare at ISSN. I learned all the basics and went on to begin a succcessdul career in the spa industry. What you put into it, you get out of it. Very lovely instructors, and a fun group. We all learned from each other as well.

ISSNMT is a great school with seasoned teachers if you’re looking to obtain a skincare, nail care, or massage therapy license. With the new beautifully renovated spa, getting services here at such great prices is an amazing & relaxing experience!

I decided to change my review. I did attend this school for the esthetician program. I’m an extremely good esthetician right out of school even. The program was amazing. I did not like the massage program at first. It was extremely overwhelming and between my personal issues and surgery. I missed a lot of school. So I do feel like my review was not fair. When I did attend class the knowledge I gained was exactly what I needed to pass test and the massage techniques I learned gave me great reviews. This is a difficult program. You have to study go to school and focus. I have friends that attended other schools and this program is a great one if you want to finish fast and learn not only how to pass the MBLEx but how to have your clients begging for only your touch. You will be a great therapist coming out of this program. All the bad reviews are from students in the middle of test and getting all their credits or are trying to get out of fees they know they owe. These are must to get your license it’s not fun it is extremely hard you may cry. But this school will make sure you are ready for any work situation. Current student keep going it’s worth it! New students come on be apart of the elite! Old students I know a lot of you. Write a review in between all those checks you’re cashing!! Issn students have no problem staying employed

They need to put more attention to all students, for the money they charge ,yeah it's dirty, they need to stop hiring ghetto like people, other than that it's a good school.

Marissa Ogando

Poor customer service-finance department My credit card was over charged by $174.00. This was AFTER I left for the day. No one at the salon could figure out how it happened and how to fix it. I am not happy and will not return. The services were ok, but it was by students, so that is to be expected. Pay cash if you go. Do not use your credit card.

Based on the reviews i will not even be THINKING about attending this school

This school is full of students from all walks of life wanting to help people feel better and look better. The faculty and staff have decades of experience to teach these students. Services are done by students with faculty supervision. I have had better massages here than ones that I have paid for. My nails never looked better than they do now being taken care by these students. My skin glows and have had endless types of facials here. My favorite is still the European Facial. I highly recommend this place. Please remember these are students and they are learning. Be patient with them and give them feedback.

I am apart of the massage therapy department. And I can be honest. This school as open my eyes to alot of things. I am currently working in the spa and I love beikg able to help people. It is a school but with the teachers we have we are learning so much great information. I know that when I graduate I will be able to speak to anyone at any level in the medical field about what is going on with my client. I am so happy with the school I pick

ISSN was the BEST experience of my life, not only did I graduate from the BEST nail technology program in Atlanta, I acquired some life skills and learned a lot about myself personally that I can use in the field I was trained in and in my day to day life. The staff here is beyond AMAZING; from the director, and director of education, the instructors of EVERY program, the financial aid advisor, the career services advisor, admissions, and the receptionist. They became family to me for my time here; ANYTHING with in their reach and beyond their reach they extended as much as they could and pointed me the direction I needed to go. I will say this it was not ALL good but it was ALL necessary for me. I took what was needed and applied it where it was needed in my life as well as my profession. My training here made me a BETTER person overall as well as the BOMB Professional Nail Technician. Thank you ISSN for ALL you have done for me and the rest to come. I salute you and keep up the OUTSTANDING JOB!!! Shamica ' Fly ' Crawford

DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL..THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY, IF YOU WANT GOOD CAREER DO NOT LOOK THIS WAY. I ATTEND THIS SCHOOL SHORTLY AND I WAS FORCED TO MOVE AND THIS SCHOOL HAD FULL KNOWLEDGE OF MY PROBLEM AND NOW THEY REFUSE TO ISSUE ME A TRANSCRIPT.

I LOVE ISSN! I go often for facials and love how my skin feels afterwards! I also am glad to give students and opportunity to practice and learn. They have recently remodeled and its like being in a spa versus a school setting! I have also hired therapists trained at this school and they have been phenomenal. I would definitely recommend ISSN!

THIS SCHOOL IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. The administrators(especially Che Chinn, the school director) are very rude and disrespectful. They put on a very nice facade though. The administrators sit around and formulate plans on how to make our experience as difficult as possible. I honestly feel like they are stealing money from us. I say this because they give us the cheapest supplies money can buy. We know this because even our teachers say that the supplies are cheap and they don't know why they would give us such terrible supplies to work/learn with. We barely have any supplies to use in class. They change the rules every day, and I mean everyday. They restricted us from using supplies that when I first started here, we were able to use. They keep everything locked away in cabinets and closets, even when we have clients. This is a school first, so we should be the priority. Wrong. The Spa is the priority. The clients are the priority, but not us students. They treat us as if we work for them. This is not a job, we do not get paid, and even though state Board says we can receive tips, they have restricted that as well. They force you to perform services on clients, even if you feel you are not ready or have not learned enough to perform the service requested. Then, the clients watch us have to ask permission to use the basic salon supplies to accommodate their service. The clients ALWAYS ask why they keep everything locked up and we have to tell them it's because they feel like we steal. So the experience goes from annoying to EMBARRASSING very quick. They tell us we have to work on people to build potential clientele, but why would they want to trust us when our own school doesn't. They make us look like THIEVES, which isn't a good look. They try to treat us like children in high school, instead of acknowledging us as adults that are taking a course at a vocational college. They actually put a new rule into place that has a 15 minute grace period. God forbid you have an accident, get a flat tire or just get stuck in the normal Atlanta traffic, and arrive after the grace period. They WILL FORCE YOU TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL. As students, we are either paying out of pocket or paying back loans to be here, but they feel they have the right to turn us away from school, that WE ARE PAYING FOR. The school director actually told me that it is a privilege for them to ALLOW me to go to the school. I honestly wish that I would have gone to Elaine Sterling instead. I don't feel privileged at all. How is it a privilege? I am paying money to be here, this is not free, so for her to let those words come out of her mouth is utterly ridiculous. The school is very unorganized and the way that they do "business" is very unprofessional. Just the way that they speak to you, alone, is disrespectful. I personally have had to tell a few different people that I am NOT a child nor am I THEIR child, so they need to be mindful of the way they are speaking to me. What makes matters worse, the Part School Owner Ms. PAM is in on this as well. If you miss a day they make it so hard for you to make your hours up. They recently had to revise one of their "rules" about making up time because it was not the same as the handbook. I have figured out how they are staying a float. They make it hard to make up hours and since financial aid(if you go that route) only covers a certain time period. So if you have not made up hours by that estimated graduation date, they you end up having to pay the school thousands of dollars, just to sit in class all day because you only need to make up time. Since I've been at the school I have watched and spoke to so many ladies who went through and ARE STILL going through this scam. They are constantly losing employees, who are either being fired or quitting. If you go against the grain they target you and give you a hard time from that moment on. I can honestly say that I regret enrolling in this school. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY REGRET IT IF YOU DO.

I get frequent massages here. It’s a great place for an inexpensive, well-done massage. 9/10 of the past massages I’ve received have been fantastic. Occasionally you will get a student that needs a little more direction, which may take away from the relaxation, but this should be expected. If you are looking for a flawless, professional massage, this place is NOT for you. These people are last semester students who are still in school. That being said, I continue to return monthly for my $35, 60 minute Swedish massage. The price is hard to beat. This place is a diamond in the rough.

I was enrolled in ISSNMT back in 2014/2015. I cannot stress to you enough the passion the staff has for your success! They believe in your career before you even began classes. If you are serious they will help you with everything they have! A great school, wonderful environment.. an legendary staff.

Issnmt is a great school, with knowledgeable teachers that will help you succeed. The campus director Ms.Che, the owner Ms. Pam along with fellow staff are committed to the students that attend Issnmt. I, personally attended as a transfer student and graduated with honors, I am now a licensed professional. If it wasn't for this school, I wouldn't be on the path of success that I am today.

Great place to get a message and facial. They have a lot of different things to try to see if you like before you go to a real spa.

This school is a complete scam. My friend went here and so I started to attend so we could finish together. My friend realized that she weren’t getting her tips when she completed a service. Come to find out, they have an ex-con working the front desk her name is Sheila Kitchens and apparently she’s a thief. How could a reputable school employ someone like this on their staff? Needless to say, I won’t be attending.

Cristiano Cotrim

I went through the massage therapy program graduating in July of 2017. I completed the program in 7 months paying for it out of pocket. It was the least expensive school in the area with the fastest program. Since they offer morning and evening classes, I was able to work full time while attending the program. The school has a broad approach targeting several areas of Holistic and Wellness practices. I became Master in Reiki and certified in Ionic Foot Detox; I became certified in many modalities of massage including prenatal, Hot Stones, sports, NMT, chair massage, reflexology to name a few. It was totally worthy the sacrifice. After graduating, I was able to open my own Holistic Massage Spa. It all began with accepting the invitation by the owner Mrs Pam Jones to take on the challenge to change my life for better. I encourage any one who wants to make a difference, to join this program here at International School of Skincare, Nailcare & Massage Therapy. Great environment with encouraging instructors.
