To say that SSMT changed my life is an understatement. The 11 months I was there as a part time student was the most healing year of my life mentally and physically. The teachers are great and really go the extra mile. They always find a way to reach you in your style of learning, while at the same time showing you new ways to approach learning. The classes you take help you in having a successful practice. All classes come together in a beautiful way. This is my second year as a Massage Therapist. This is a passion and a skill, and SSMT has helped me make both. It was definitely one of the best things I've ever done.

Those who were strangers six months ago are now beloved family members. The staff is amazing, they want you to succeed, and push you to become the best you can be. If a different path calls you, answer it, this might be the place for you.

Ssmt help me in more ways than I could ever think of. This place is not just a school, but also a home and everyone is family. Everyone wants to see you and help you succeed. I came to the school to get a head start in the medical field, and they gave me more than what I bargained for. From the practical use of the knowledge that I needed in the classroom, to bring able to help change people's lives. Every bit of it was so worth it and every time I come back to the school it's like a homecoming and learning something new each time. Two years after graduation I am still connected to my instructors and they have helped me grow my own practice. This place is phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone trying to improve their life and improve others.

I attended the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in 2014 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. From the minute I walked in the staff was helpful and friendly. They all share a common goal which is to help the students succeed. I am a person who asks a lot of questions they never go unanswered here. I went in to this program knowing very little about human anatomy and pathology. It was challenging at times but my instructors and the administrators were always there to help and clarify. I am so grateful for everything I learned and all the opportunity it has awarded me. I still get massage in the student clinic AND I practice licensed massage in their professional graduate clinic. For the first time in my life I am making a good living doing something I love. I absolutely would (and have) recommend SSMT to a friend.

This school absolutely cares about the fate of the students; I myself have had several teachers offer to be a referral for me after they experienced my massage. I know several male therapists who have had no trouble getting work after graduating. If you pay any attention in ethics class you will be able to recognize and avoid untoward situations. It is mentioned several times in school. Yes, a business wants your money to continue operating, but this school is run by those with combined centuries of experience and a real love for facilitating healing, both for the client and therapist. Don't listen to the person below who clearly heard what he wanted to hear and got burned. Sources: graduate this month.
