Had a very stiff neck and had Stephanie work on it this morning and what a difference. The salon and spa are beautiful and the staff was very pleasant. Great experience all around. Stephanie was a fantastic, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Not only is this salon convenient.....there is a lovely atmosphere & the staff is very helpful. The owner is usually on premise, overseeing the management of the operation. Cheryl is my stylist. She is incredibly competent, with over 30 years experience. She is a color specialist & provides an excellent hair cut. She listens to her clients' desired outcome & is adept at perceiving their desired outcome. On multiple occasions, I've been stopped on the street for people to ask me where I have my hair 'done'. Several people have gone to Cheryl & been very happy with the results. Call for an appointment with Cheryl whether you are a local or seasonal visitor to Paradise!

Very relaxing with wonderful, professional service. This is my 'go-to' while living on the island in the winter months. Stephanie is a wonderful stylist who listens and works with you to make you feel your very best! Highly recommend but book early as they are a busy spot. You won't regret it!

I made reservations online for a my best friend and myself to have several services done. Within 24 hours I had a confirmed appointment with times for each service for both of us. We arrived to a pleasant receptionist and within minutes our massage therapists were out taking us back for our facials. I had Jennifer who was absolutely fabulous...I cannot say enough wonderful things about how comfortable she made me and also gave me an excellent facial. My bff loved hers too ( I just cannot remember her persons name). We had several other services and we both were extremely pleased with the salon, the people and the experience. We both hope to get back to AMI and when we do...we will for sure stop back at Aqua Aveda.

Had my wedding down on AMI and chose Acqua Aveda Salon and Spa for my bridal party of 7 plus moms after having done a lot of research. Spoke with Mitchell on the phone who was super professional, intelligent & competent. When we came in on my wedding day, we completely took their salon over with all of our stuff: dresses, bags, lunch, mimosas, etc. We really sprawled out! The staff was amazing and didn't mind at all, even had fun with us! The owner was very sweet. ;) Ally, my stylist, is my favorite-super cool chick with great ideas so I trusted her to run with it. She made me look gorge!! My now hubby, Jeff said I took his breath away. All my girls looked stunning too. I am really happy I chose this salon. Thank you so much ladies.

Just got my nails done by Jessica and it was great. I am pretty picky about my nails and she did them perfect. Very nice and clean. Strongly recommend especially if your looking for a relaxing way to spend rainy day on your vacation

Acqua Aveda helped to save my wedding day! Before receiving services from Aveda, I was previously at a different salon, preparing for my wedding photos and ceremony when it turned into a disaster. The salon could not do a simple three piece braid. My friend and photographer had to remove me from the salon. They took me to Acque Aveda and I could not be more thankful that they did. The women at the salon welcomed us as soon as we entered and quickly got to work. My hair looked beautiful! Not once did I question what they were doing or feared how it would turn out. The service was wonderful! My hair and makeup turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I am thankful they were there to help! Thank you ladies at Acque Aveda on Holmes Beach!

I had a great spa pedicure and a really nice no chip manicure But my no chip chipped in a day! Had it done Saturday afternoon and noticed chips on 4 nails Monday morning. I am on vacation and not doing anything that would cause this to happen. The spa itself is very nice and so is the staff.

A little pricey, place needs a good cleaning... they thrive off the tourist staying on AMI and “getaway wedding parties”... they are nice enough but a little impressed with themselves... new ownership now, so maybe better future service?

My girlfriend Chelsea and I enjoyed a fabulous mani-pedi date today at Acqua Aveda. The ladies took such good care of us and did a wonderful job on our nails. Jody does my hair and I'm always so pleased with the results! Marari, does fantastic nail art for me! we moved to Florida in April and I read a ton of reviews and ask around and this place was one that seemed worth checking out, and we are so glad we did. My husband now even comes here, for massages with Stephanie, and hair with Jamie. a beautiful, very relaxing place to spend your day.

Not impressed and definitely did not book with this salon after a phone call. I called in to ask about having my hair curled.. that's it...for my beach wedding. Was told $95 dollars because I said I was a bride. I figured she just didn't understand- so- I explained, "no, not a bridal up-do. Just curls with one side pinned back or just curl it and i can pin it myself, this cant possibly be $95" Yep, $95. So I asked would I be charged $95 if i was not the bride? No. They weren't willing to discuss any other options with me and were totally unhelpful. Yes- I understand that more care and attention is given to a brides hair on the wedding day but for $95 I better come outta there with actual strands of gold in my hair. Found a cheaper, much much more friendly staff at another location

As a visitor to the island and needing a simple haircut I got stuck with a young woman who'd only been here 4 weeks. Her "style" is to cut dry, meaning pre wash or spray. Due to static electricity it was awful, hair stuck all over my face. Very nice young lady but will never go back. $35 and she barely touched the top and back.

I'm giving this three stars for now because today I had a mixed experience. When I called to book a brow waxing I asked how much it'd be to get a 'trim.' I was told that there is no special 'trim' price but a haircut was $40. That was a good price, so I booked that, too. Here's the good part -- I had a good brow wax from a lovely woman called Susan (I think), and a nice light massage and haircut and styling tips from a lovely woman called Rachel (I think). I was happy with my haircut and brows, and I was thinking about coming back there in a month or so for a perm. Then I went to pay and was told that the bill was $75! I questioned it and was told that the price for a haircut was $55. I said that on the phone, I was clearly told the price was $40. The receptionist said she was sorry. Later I called the salon and spoke to the manager. I explained that her receptionist had made a mistake and I asked for a $15 credit for my next visit. The person I spoke to checked with the manager and then said no, they did not do credits, and it was "very unlikely" that the receptionist would have told me the wrong price. I told her that if they wouldn't give me a credit, I would not be back. So then I got the credit, and I will gladly go back and try again, but next time I'm going to be careful to check the prices and not rely on the receptionist to tell me what I'm paying! Hope to give a full 5 stars next time.

Would definitely NOT recommend. The stylist told me that she cuts hair best dry but offered to wash my hair if I wanted. I figured that if she cuts hair best dry we would go with that. I have long straight hair and it really isn't too hard to cut, but this was ridiculous. She was done in less that 10 minutes. I figured that I would pay less for a cut since she didn't wash my hair, but I went to check out and it was $65. $65 for literally less than 10 minutes of work. To top it off I got home and hubby asked, "why is your hair crooked in the back?". Great, $65 for a cut that took under 10 minutes and isn't even good. What a disappointment.

Love the ladies at Acqua Aveda! My daughter who is 6 and I come/came in for anything from hair emergencies, my wedding hair extensions (which looked incredibly natural), routine cuts, & mani-pedis. My daughter has always gone to a salon for her hair cuts however never felt comfortable enough to lean back and have her hair washed until we came to Acqua Aveda! I highly recommend them!!!
