I used Jean Denning twice, both with 90 minute massages. The massages were part Swedish and part Deep Tissue as needed. She was great and adjusted to my sensitivities very well. I would use her services again.

A couple of months ago I joined the YMCA and started working out for the first time in my life. Being a 39 year old overweight and out of shape guy, this was long overdue. I decided around the same time to try a massage for the first time ever and booked an appointment with Simsbury Therapeutic Massage & Wellness. The owner, Greg, was very nice and accommodating on the phone and booked my first appointment with Jean. My primary goal was relaxation, but being new to working out I was looking for a little pain management as well. Jean was fantastic! She really put me at ease and focused on my goals. I went back a second time and nearly fell asleep during the massage - (relaxation goal achieved!). I've since been back a third time and now have Simsbury Therapeutic Massage & Wellness worked into my budget and schedule each month. I find my mind and my body much more relaxed after an hour's session, and it is really adding to my overall health improvement. From the Greg, the owner, to Jean my therapist, and all of the staff I've encountered - everyone is very friendly and professional. As part of their service I've also had access to various coupons and promotions, 48-hour advance appointment reminders and discounted sessions when purchasing multiple hours at once. I had a prenatal massage with Molly on Feb 10th. It was fantastic. Th owner Greg Wood knows about excellent customer service and treats his customer accordingly. Molly was gentle, and very respectful. I like the idea of being asked what discomforts are. She really took the time to tend to my needs. I would highly commend this place to anyone who is experiencing tension, especially if you have never had a massage before. I actually booked a third appointment and will continue to dp so until i give birth! I will be telling my friends and followers about this establishment!!!
