My fiancé and I got a couples massage today and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The first time massage introductory rate of $49.95 is a great way to see the location and try out a massage at a great price. It was very clean and calming. Check in was efficient and electronic which was awesome. I got the exact massage I asked for and scheduled another one for a few weeks! We both like it a little deeper and Mark did a great job. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because it was freezing in our room and the clock was ticking so loudly it was a bit difficult to relax in the beginning. Eventually it was fine though.

From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and at ease. I have had countless massages and the one I had today was hands down the best I've ever had. My massage therapist was so knowledgeable about what I needed and talked me through everything! He also helped me when some stretches I could do. The owner was so sweet and has made the the most beautiful shop!

If I could leave a lower number than one star I would. The owner doesn’t take accountability for her business and is very conceding. It’s a very unprofessional spa when in reality the inside is gorgeous but the staff doesn’t work together because the owner doesn’t care about the employees. I would highly suggest spending your money and time at a better spa with great customer service and an owner who takes pride in her workers and shop.

Marvelous, exceeds expectations. My massage therapist Terrance was amazing! Massage coupled with aromatherapy and lots of extra goodies like gourmet chocolate. If you're looking for an hour of paradise and relaxation- this is the place to go! This is the kind of experience you would expect to get at the Broadmoor, and without Broadmoor prices or the high pressure sales push you get at Massage Envy. Loved it!

Went to LaVida while searching for a new therapist since my regular one retired. Recently suffered a herniated disc and was on the tail end of recovering but needed to get the kinks out of my hip and back muscles. Based on availability (for 11July 2019) I was able to book an appt with Luna. As expected (after reviewing her bio on the website) Luna did not disappoint. She was extremely professional, courteous, skillful with her massage techniques. Chit chat was kept to a minimum (even though I'd preferred to make small talk during the massage to get a feel for who's working on me). Never less, Luna expertly set about giving me an awesome Deep Tissue massage (she's a lot stronger than stature would lead you to believe). My hopes was that she would help alleviate the tension caused by my recent injury which had my back muscles tensing up something fierce. Needless to say, a couple of days later my back feels exceptional. So glad she wa available and so skilled at what she does.

This business opened in April and new to the Broadmoor community. I am enthusiastic about the membership part! Monique Walkes is a respectful and impressive business owner of LaVida Massage. I had the pleasure of meeting her. She really listens to her customers and personalizes the visits making sure of the satisfaction is reaching above and beyond expectation. The staff is very approachable, greeting customers upon walking in and always feel welcome to answer your questions. I have been to similar places of business and travelled all around the world. This one deserves 5 stars. I challenge you to try LaVida Massage.

Lovely place. Steven at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The aroma of LaVida is delicious. I took my sister and I for a relaxation couple massage. My sister had Corey and I had Martha do my massage. The ambience of the room was superb with lovely soft relaxing music. Very peaceful experience. My sister enjoyed her massage from Corey and felt very relaxed after. Martha did an awesome job. I felt amazing after and so relaxed. The aromatherapy and hot stone add on is a must. I’m visiting from NY and will definitely visit here again the next time I’m out here. Will recommend this place to others.

However, I don't think the experience would have been the same if it wasn't for the wonderful massage therapist, Itzel - who was absolutely professional, respectful, and a true artist. Cannot say enough about the great staff, and especially the owner Monique, who treats everyone who walks in as if they were family! I had a friend come from out of town and she went to Lavida on South Nevada to get a massage. She said is was in the worst part of town. There were homeless people all over and some even begged her for money. She did not feel safe at all. I wanted to show her the best of Colorado Springs and unfortunately it is not in this part of town.

I went in on a whim and had one of the best massages I have had in Colorado Springs. (I saw Kathleen). Since then, a other great massage from her. Then I seriously threw my neck out following getting rear-ended while stopped for a light on Nevada. I went in and they got me with Christine for an extended massage - to my surprise extreme relief! Another amazing masseuse there! Then I JOINED FOR A MONTHLY MASSAGE. When joining you can treat someone close to your massage instead if you, or not use a month and add extra time to your massage the next month. A win all the way around. Comfortable massage tables and linens. Nice smells. Clean and neat. Highly recommended but hoping because it is, it still is easy to get in as it gets popular.

WARNING ⚠️ MARK secretly records the sessions on his camera phone. I found the camera still recording as I was getting dressed & WAS going to leave a tip then something makes a thumping sound.. I pick it up and it's a phone recording. When I called to confirm if the recording was something allowed in sessions, they said that they checked his phone and he had no videos but I saw the camera still recording and a TIME STAMP, when I asked him he said he usually records sessions so beware of being violated with no consent. I have no idea what he's doing with this footage. He keeps the camera by the kleenex box.

I have to cancel my membership from this establishment due to multiple scheduling errors. Mark is a 5 star massage therapist & I am so grateful for his help. But the staff at the front desk have proven incompetent. Around 5 scheduling errors; from wrong date, wrong time, wrong therapist! Yes, one time I was scheduled with a different therapist.

They even have an awesome massage therapist that specifically helps our 11 year old son with his PTSD. Loved the place and atmosphere, but, the business end of things is poorly managed. Three out of the four of my last appointments were cancelled or rescheduled because the therapist (tried with multiple people) wasn't coming in . The massage was great, but, I won't give business to a company who has no respect for their customers time.

I was super surprised at how lovely and relaxing an atmosphere LaVida Massage had. I was traveling 30 minutes to get to a place because I couldn't find any place closer to get a good massage. LaVida is new in the area and it is a beautiful place with several different options available. I had Itzel and was blown away at how relaxed and good I felt after spending an hour with her. Monique has done an excellent job at locating professionals who are well trained. Competitively priced.

The last two massage that I've had were less than satisfactory. My first visit was sublime, with Itzel. Then she resigned. I tried another therapist that massaged me like I was laying on the couch watching TV instead of paying for a therapeutic massage. I booked another therapist and it was terrible. She squeezed me like a lemon in the same spot for 20 minutes, which made me have a neck spasm - that 2.5 weeks later is still bothering me, in addition to increasing my headaches (which is why I get massage in the first place). Then she took her forearms and squished my arms for 20 minutes, leaving me bruised and upset. She needs to have better finesse and variation to achieve better results. I am cancelling my membership to this business, which is a drag, but you are not trustworthy with my health and wellness.

Worst experience I've had attempting to get a massage. The massage room was very hot and claustrophobic. I had to open the door while I waited a very long time for Mark to appear. I finally had to leave before the massage even started due to the heat in the whole building. I waited 15-20 min for then to cool the room off but it was never ever comfortable. The massage bed was heated causing me great discomfort in the overly hot room. I have highly recommend finding another facility for a massage. The front desk receptionist was new and had no idea how to even process a gift card. Seriously skip this facility. I also don't care for the location.

I had Kelsey as my masseuse. As a massage therapist myself, I unfortunately was not impressed. I indicated to her that my neck and low back and leg were my problems areas. She barely touched my neck, low back or neck. She never asked how the pressure was so it was more painful than relaxing. She was also very choppy and not continuous. She ended upruptly and before my time was up. And just said, are you awake? I enjoyed the actual place just not my masseuse personally.

Amazing prices, atmosphere, and exceptionally professional staff. Not only are they kind, they really know the business! I saw Jessica and when I told her the pressure she was giving was perfect, she maintained it through the whole session. She took me through an aromatherapy session first, and I got a small piece of chocolate at the end. Also, she really listened to my history related to getting massages and what my main issues were as a result of my history.....and she tailored the massage to specifically fit my body's needs. I feel like a new woman, and I scheduled to see her again!

I have been a member since Feb. 2017. La Vida's location is very convenient for me, the lobby is beautiful and the rooms are nice and relaxing. I always leave feeling much better and happy with my experience. The reason I'm giving LaVida 3 stars is because for the THIRD time in TWO years I've had to change my masseuse AGAIN! First I had Jessica, then it was Kenya and my last masseuse was Yvette. All of them helped me, they were fantastic! I'm just so frustrated that there is such a big turnover in personnel there. I am tired of trying out another masseuse to figure out who is going to help me again. What is going on that there is such a turnover with good masseuses?! If this continues I'm sad to say that I am finding a new massage therapy place.

I had recently over exercised my left leg and lower back putting them into spasms for the past three weeks. Very miserable times, not being able to sit comfortably, or sleep for more than three hours at a time. Christine and her amazing massage skills managed to get a large portion of my lower back out of spasms, allowing me to have some comfort in my daily routine. I received a gift for LaVida in 2017 I thought I had lost but found it while packing. I called and the young lady was extremely nice and the gift card was honorable. So I made an appointment and the guy that did my massage was name Mark and he was amazing (highly recommend him) he made me feel really comfortable being a female. And he had me so relaxed while massaging me that I dozed off a couple of times. This was my first but definitely not my last massage and appointment with LaVida (on Nevada). My complete experience with them was awesome.

First time visiting, I was recommended by a co-worker. The place was very nice and the staff was great. They got us right in and for the next hour my girlfriend and I enjoyed every minute. They asked where the problem areas are and got right to it. My back and legs always hurt due to quite a lot of airborne jumps in the army, and Martha worked knots out that I didn't know I had. We are definitely going back!

Like any massage place there are good therapist and incompetent ones. Fortunately Lavida has some spectacular therapist. Always clean, the front desk staff is generally polite and helpful, and if you are wise enough to ask for an experienced therapist you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend both Luna and Venus - odd that they named after celestial bodies but they're both warm, kind, and very very good at what they do. It's a little on the pricey side unless you do the monthly membership but as usual you get what you pay for.
