First time trying fasciablasting/cupping at birmingham massage couple. The sauna room was nice & clean. Brenda was very knowledgeable and kind. She explained everything in way that put me at ease. Some areas did hurt a little but thats normal since my fascia was pretty bound. I did take a pain pill 30 mins before which I do believe did help. After the session I felt surprisingly better like you would after a deep tissue massage. It is the next day and I am sore but it's not unbearable. I'll definitely be back!

Me and my wife just finished getting a couples massage here and it was great! The two massage therapists we used very good, Laura and Emily, I would recommend them for sure. It was the first massage I have had there, and it was the best one I've ever had. Laura did some stretching on my legs to relieve pressure on my lower back and it was great. The building is older and it is less like a "spa" but I am okay with that, the smells and sounds were just as pleasant, and the temp and the lighting were good too, very relaxing. The price was very reasonable for a 60 minute couple massage, best prices I've seen. They had an opening, even on a somewhat short notice, this is because of the number of therapists they have on hand. Do not expect to walk in, they are by appointment only. The online appointment scheduler was easy to use and you can pick who you see. We will be back, and I would recommend this to anyone that wants a very good massage at a very good price

Highly recommend this place. Their pricing is fantastic and the service was excellent. Massage is their thing, so you don't have to worry about walking into a busy 'spa' type atmosphere. Brenda gave an excellent 90 minute Deep Tissue massage! Don't be fooled by her size...she applied excellent pressure right where I needed it in my upper back and shoulder regions. I will definitely come back.

Tom is fantastic! I'm at the point in life that massage is not about relaxing, it's about getting the kinks worked out! I see Tom for Synergetic Myofascial Therapy and Active Isolated Stretching. I'm very active with yoga and HIIT/strength work. Tom helps me with my SI joint/hip/lower back issues. He's very knowledgable about the different muscle groups and can make a huge difference in how you feel!

I don't often write reviews, but I have to for Birmingham Massage Couple. This place is AMAZING! I was looking for a quality place to go for a couple's massage as a gift to my husband for our one year wedding anniversary. My husband has had several massages in the past, but I had never had one, so I didn't know what to look for to determine quality (except online reviews). I looked at all the possible massage places in town, spas and otherwise. It was difficult to find a place that had an open spot for booking, which was the first issue I had. After searching and searching and being frustrated from having no luck, I stumbled on Birmingham Massage Couple, saw the five star reviews, and took the chance (they were super easy to book with). I initially booked for a 1:00 time slot on a Saturday, but I didn't see that I was booking for a time slot that wasn't available for a couple's massage (which was my error). The owner called me to inform me that the time slot was not available for what I wanted, and gave me other choices. This was half an hour after I had booked online. The fact that they immediately got in touch with me was really nice. The prices were also significantly less than the other places I found, and yet they were the only place I found with a five star rating. Let me tell you...they did not disappoint! The place is nice and clean. The room was comfortable, and the massage therapists were GREAT. They took the time to ask me and husband what our trouble spots were, and they really seemed to care about our well being and how we could improve our care through massage in the future. Kerri was my massage therapist and Haley was my husband's. I have had a lot of problems with my shoulders in the past and my back is always hurting. My husband has had issues with his right shoulder for a long time. Kerri got out the knots in my back! I couldn't believe it! My husband was blissfully happy when we left, and so was I (so much so that my husband booked us another appointment two weeks later!). Let me also say that the owners are very friendly as well. They made sure we were satisfied with our massage (both times we have visited). We will be going back every month (if possible). I wish we could go once a week! I highly recommend this place and I would give it 10 stars if I could! If you want a place to get a quality massage for a more than fair price, this is the place for you! LOVE it!!!

Had a Couples Massage and it wasn't relaxing. One hit all of the area were the other basically just oiled down. She didn't do the full session she just rubbed the back and legs. I didn't get my feet, neck, head, or hands done at all when asked if she knew how to a certain massage she wasn't sure. I have been receiving massages for approximately 13 years. I have had great therapists and many who didn't live up to my expectations. I live in Selma, Al, but bc of monthly appointments in Birmingham, I googled therapists in the area. Based on the reviews and the prices, I booked a massage with Tom. Tom is the first therapist who seems to fully understand the issues I have with my back and neck and incorporates all techniques he believes will be beneficial to me. Definitely worth driving 85 mile for.

Both were very professional and very friendly, they listened to our concerns and problem areas. You can tell they care about their patients. My husband was experiencing some shoulder pain before the appointment; Brenda was very knowledgeable on how to help his discomfort. Even before the appointment was over he could already tell a difference. Booking was simple and easy and their pricing is fantastic. When calling a few days before to push our appointment back a few hours due to unforeseen circumstances, Tom was very understanding and accommodative. We will be back.
