Really nice outdoor mall! They have quite a few department stores and bigger stores as well as smaller specialty shops, restaurants, etc. Everything was clean and well maintained with nice landscaping etc. The bathrooms were nice and clean; I also noticed there was this wonderful nursing mother's room which was a surprise amenity (having been there, done that)

This is a very large outdoor shopping mall with one of the worst layouts I have ever seen in my life. It is cumbersome to navigate and everything is horribly spread out, forcing you to drive to various locations if they are not close by each other. To make things worse, this is located in Short Pump, which is one of the most congested and over developed places in Richmond/Western Henrico. There are numerous restaurants and stores here and some of them are unique to this location in RVA. If you want to go to them, be prepared to put with a headache trying to navigate it. You may also want to anticipate having to spend more time on your trip dealing with the bad traffic. If you can avoid this place, I strongly recommend it.

Busy and no parking. Not a fan of "outdoor malls" and it started drizzling. Outside of that it is a beautiful mall with a vast variety of stores. The 2 stars are for the convenience of entering and exiting this location. Not a place you can run in and out of quickly unless you are being dropped off.

A great outdoor mall. A lot of shops and restaurants. The planning was really well done because it’s beautiful. Very pricey (because most of the stores are higher end), but if you’re looking for something you can only get at a specific store, that store is probably here. The parking is a nightmare, but I’ve always been able to find a spot eventually, so I haven’t let that effect my review. It’s a really pleasant shopping experience here.

World-class mall! The stores are diverse, and I love bringing my kids here when we need something to do. The kiddie train is always a hit, and the fountains and play areas keeps them happy for hours! The outdoor "living areas" have comfortable couches, rockers, fans, and heat lamps during the winter. They also have charging stations for most devices, and the whole place is sparkling clean all the time. I love SPTC!

It's nice - but let's call this place a little too shi-shi for it's own good. Not really my cup of tea. Comedy club is nice /good bars and restaurants. If you're looking for something in particular - that you can't get anywhere else - by all means go for it. Otherwise I suggest saving your money.

This is how outdoor malls should all be. I've never seen anything quite like it and we really enjoyed it. It has big department store anchors like a traditional mall, but when you go out into the "mall" area all of your walkways are outdoors! They had play areas and giant checkerboards. The landscaping was gorgeous and there was great seating all over the place. Fountains and flowers everywhere made it feel like a little shopping oasis. They have all the stores you would expect in your typical mall, it's just a lot more fun to shop there.

Nice place to spend the day. You don't need to shop. Take a good book, sit on one of the benches outside and enjoy the weather, the people walking back and forth and of course your book. Hungry? Walk to Maggiano's the Italian restaurant with affordable meals. Ask for meals that come with a free to go meal. Only restaurant you get that kind of incentive.

Great place to shop for clothing for the whole family. There is a decorative outdoor fountain that the grandkids kids love to see and a little outdoor play place for them. There’s plenty of variety of food to buy to keep everyone happy, too. It’s all just lovely.

Very clean mall with a large variety of stores. My only complaint is all the stores are higher end pricy stores. We visit maybe once a year for a specific store but we don't shop around at all. The mall itself is all outdoors and is very well maintained. They have a small play area for kids near the food section (I say food section because there is no food court, just an area with a bunch of restaurants). Overall it's just ok but there are other malls I like better.

Very accessible and fun, a lot of good store that are mid range in price. It’s a very pretty place to take a good walk and window shop or to make a big shopping trip with friends. Pricy food around the mall, but they have some decent fast food as well. Weird policies around ‘being outside’ so careful around the security guards.

This is such a great mall! Yes, it is always packed and the traffic is terrible, but it is totally worth it! I can't afford to shop in some of the nicest stores here, but there are many stores here that I go to that I can't find anywhere else in the area. The public areas are also always clean, comfortable, and not overcrowded. It's a great spot to knock put seasonal shopping, pick up some skin care, or grab a bite to eat. Love it!

Our absolute favorite shopping center - once a month we drive an hour to come relax here for a day. The atmosphere is pleasant with lots of greenery and fountains, and the entire center is well maintained and clean. Only wish there was a designated food court, or more places to sit with your lunch. Otherwise, this is a top notch place to get your shopping done.

Nice meeting spot to visit with family and friends. Enjoyed the Cheesecake Factory and walking around the mall for exercise while taking a break from traveling. Mall is easy access from the Interstate near Richmond and there are various good shopping and dining places available.

A good place to spend time during an evening. With lots of shops including branded upscale ones and also the economic ones, short pump town centre is a happening place. There are play areas for kids and also places to sit casually if you ever get tired of walking in and out of trending shops here. The place has multiple restaurants and snack shops including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A etc. For Pokemon go players, short pump town center has got 3 poke gyms and over 10 pokestops. This place becomes quite crowded during Pokemon community day events.

Beautiful mall, but the service of the mall employees disgusting. My family walked into guest services becuase that is also where the kids museum entrance is. We looked directly at the guest services female employee. She stared at us in disgust and did not say a word. No hello, no smile nothing. We are a minority family. We stopped and watched a Caucasian family come in behind us and she gave them a huge smile. You don't want to believe this things still happen but they do. We turned the cheek and kept it moving.

Have been goining here since they opened to shop, eat and just enjoy walking around browsing in a open air mall. They always have things going on at Christmas, Easter and other times during the year. They have some really good restraints and some shops that you can't find in other malls. Overall I have always had a good experience with the stores and staff. This place is clean and well kept.

This is a fun place to walk around if you have nothing else to do. My wife and I enjoy going into a lot of the shops and seeing what they have, even if they are often out of our price range. Still, some of the stores have pretty good deals on clearance items. It's a beautiful outdoor mall, and it's a great place to stretch your legs on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Worst mall ever. Strike 1: it's an outdoor mall. Takes away the comfortable indoor rainy day shopping experience. Strike 2: the second floor. It is constructed of cement tiles in a metal grid. Very much like walking on manhole covers but less secure feeling. Strike 3: not one store in there that I must go to. Anything found there can be found somewhere else. This is the good news.

Enjoy a leisurely shopping trip at Short Pump Town Center. There’s something for the entire family. The Children’s Museum and the Funny Bone are regular stops for myself when I go there. As you can see the ambiance is worth noting, especially during the holiday season.

One could argue that this development is a home run hit from the Richmond, VA area,, entertainment that is both adult, and family oriented, shopping selections that are on caliber with someone of the most high-end fashion to date on trend, and affordable for the budget minded individual ;) You can rest assured that your will be more then satisfied by stopping by.

Great area. Lots of parking. Very busy on a Tuesday night. We checked out a few stores. The best part I thought about this area is that it is shaded. Most of it is shaded. Some of Richmond is pretty sketchy and we felt safe walking around here. It was great for stroll to check out the area and have a little date night. This town center is huge. Great atmosphere. A ton of places to sit down and just relax. A lot of ponds. Big clocks. Maps and directions are available just look for the signs and map. Several stores that offer décor, food, desserts, clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, etc. etc. Anything you can think of you can probably find it here. Also, if you have little ones there are kid activities like a big checkers board, a big chess board, another little play area, and a train that parents and kids can get on to ride around the outside mall. They have several bathrooms and there is a kid play area for fun and exercise that is inside right near the family, women’s and men’s bathrooms upstairs. Bathrooms are very clean and a lot of stalls available. We walked around a bit while we waited for a text since we were on a wait list and then we had dinner at Firebirds and loved the food. I would suggest if you are going to eat here at the town center during peak dinner hours that you call ahead or use the opentable app and reserve your table! Overall, I thought Short Pump was a very neat area/beautiful and I would definitely come back here.

It is very crowded here, and the type of crowd it draws leaves a lot to be desired. That said, they have a ton of awesome stores...all high end stores that are expensive, but all stores you wont find really anywhere else. They have the Apple store which, in my opinion, is probably the main attraction. If you find yourself there, I recommend visiting the Apple store even if you aren't an Apple user and have no intention of becoming one. It's just a great environment to be in. The staff is absolutely fantastic and they will make you feel right at home. You also have a bunch of cool stuff to play with while you're there. It does get busy and can seem overwhelming at times, but theres always a staff member there to help you out.

Pretty on the outside but only had select shopping for those with a lot of money. The food court was demolished and replaced with an expensive store and only 3 expensive fast food places are left in the mall. The security is gruff and many aren’t friendly and the biggest problem of all is how much the operators of the mall complain about every minuscule thing they think stores need to do in the mall yet let their escalators remain broken for well over a month and only seem to do maintenance and painting right before opening.

Nice upscale mall with Dillard's, Nordstrom, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, and plenty of other prestige brands. There are, of course, plenty of popular-price brands available in the center and at nearby discount retailers. There are two stories at this outdoor center with both sunny and shady seating and a generous walkway on the second level. We found parking rather easily, though this center is very busy.

We visited here to pick up our puppy whose breeder came from a bit further away. We wandered the mall while waiting, it’s open and very nice. Saw a lot of shops that We don’t have locally.

I was in the mood for a nice dinner and a live band but I found myself having dinner at The Cheesecake Factory instead. I guess what I was really in the mood for was an engaging, vibrant, entertaining bar like but you can still have your one on one time, relaxing with sounds of great music playing in the background atmosphere and that's exactly what I got. It's been years since I've had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and I dont know why it has taken me so long to go back but from the wonderful and attentive service I received from my waiter to instantly being seating even though it was crowded and the food tasting perfect, it was like having a meal that hit the spot. I will definitely be back. Oh and I had taste for gumbo but most of the time the sausage is pork, not with them. They have chicken andouille sausage instead. That was a plus for me because I do not eat pork.

Typical outdoor mall in a yuppy area. It can be a fun place to walk and chat and people watch but I feel like most of the stores never update their items and just recycle the same style year after year, plus almost anything you could buy could be purchased online for a fraction of the price. There are several awesome restaurants and the comedy club has some decent shows.

Hi I love this mall so much but today I had an experience at the short pump gust service where I was trying to get my sister a gift card I went in with a huge smile on my face and there was one women who was really nice but never in my life have I been treated so rude by a human. The other lady made this experience so horrible that I left the gust service with no gift card if I could give it zero stars I would horrific customer service. I would never recommend to get a gift card from there but from the regular stores in the mall it’s self.

Beautiful, clean, & has every shop you could ever need! The restaurants are delicious as well. You could easily spend all day there and still not see it all.
