This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
My favorite theater, I love the seats, especially the T-Rex!
Always the best Dr's. Michel&Co are 100% best vet we've ever experienced
One of the best movie theaters in the area.
Great cinema. Expensive, like most are. But good quality in return.
It was amazing so many cool things to do
Great place for a movie and refreshments!
Great place to watch a movie and love that they always play Christian films when they come out.
We occasionally shop here, but we do come here for the theater. The movie theater is family friendly with great seats. The difficulty is that parking for later afternoon or evening shows can be rough given that the cinema shares venue space with music acts neext door, as well as with small dining.
Lots of positive changes happening. Mad taco and event spaces.
Nice layout of stores and the movies too. McDonald's right there too.
The Essex outlet is going down many stores are out of business....
Nice place to shop but needs more variety. Clothing and upscale shops are all well and good but a little pricy for middle income people.
Great movie theater located in center if Essex... Great location with multiple restaurants nearby.
It is a clean and nice place to watch a movie in Vermont.
Love it here, good deals
Poorly outlets. Half of these stores are closed.
Good theater good shops
Great that they have a Van Heusen
Little bit of everything here and a very nice area, very safe and some fun/quality stuff. But there ate stores that are leaving the outlets not sure why. Highly recommended Mimmos restaurant! And theater is pretty good too, no complaints!
It's an outlet mall with a fairly nice movie theater. The cinema has a private screening theater with a bar/lounge attached and a large format screen that they call the T-Rex which has larger more comfortable seating. The outlet mall is fairly standard, though there is a good bookstore and a good toy/hobby shop that I recommend.
I shop at Hannaford's at least once a week. At least one time per visit, I ask a store employee where I can find something. They are always willing to help me. I appreciate the help. About 2 weeks ago, on a Saturday, the store was busier …
Not so many options. Not a real Shopping Outlet.
Well, outlet stores are neat, but they are missing more of the pedestrian experience. Need more outdoor walking, eating, no driving access areas. Would be really neat to see a family fun center, rock climbing, mini golf etc. But, good deals overall.
Cinema: excellent. Best theater in the area. Comfy seats and decent prices. The Shoppes: eh, the days of this being an outlet seem to be gone. The theater keeps trying to revitalize the area but I feel it's going to take a lot more than mad taco to do that.
Okay variety if outlets. Some of them are higher end and overpriced. Sidewalks and exteriors are getting run down.
Limited shops and types of shops.
The newly renovated Hannaford's is great!
Shopping center with some useful places - grocery stores, hardware store, toy store, plus restaurants and movie theater with the state's only LFT/HFT + surround sound theater.
The outlet mall had some great stores with seductive sale prices going on. Couldn't not spend money here. I didnt check out the cinema so cant comment on it.
Great team and amazing facility!
A nice mix of stores. The new Hannaford is wonderful.
My go to spot for movies. Love the Trex theater. And the reward card is pretty sick too
The theater seats were very comfortable!
It's a good theatre
Found just what we were looking for
It's more like a ghost town mall
I love having shopping options in Essex Town and utilize all of the stores but wish there were more.
I really like this place. All little outlets and contemporary cinema theatre.
Great collection of small shops!
Got some golf and dress shirts for a steal!!
Needs reinvigorating. Cinema poorly organized for big crowds. Need separate lines for patrons that already have tickets.
Great seats and greater movie selections
Good place to many different types of shopping or catch a movie
Great atmosphere. I felt like I was walking through downtown anywhere. Well lit for night shopping, outdoor speakers throughout complex with relaxing music playing.
Old Town building at it's best
Best place to see movies in the area!
There really needs to be more variety but there are a few cool places, including the artisan bakery which has some great treats. The rewards card is pretty good there as well.
Cinema is great but most shops are gone and the few remaining are not even close to outlet stores. If you are looking for good deal, look elsewhere
Best kitchen gadget store in the shoppes
It's a nice place
79 bucks for 1 tie!!!! I just couldn't do it
Restaurants here are great. We go to Suhko Thai, which i think is one of the BEST Thai places ever. the owner is extremely friendly, ( plus we know him personally, I would eat there every day if i could. food is extremely tastey, fresh, they give you just enough. Their Massiman is the BEST!. Generous portions, they are more than helpful when you want your food prepared a certain way. Always busy, every table is usually full. Take out service is excellent. We try to go at least once or twice every other week. my parents drive an hour and a half just to come eat here. Ample parking, Great, great food.
Trex theater is great!
Love the Christopher banks outlet!! Staff are slways so kind and helpful ....beautiful and unique clothing
Went to the movies nice place
Best movie theater in the area!
We visit essex shopping center at least 2. Times or more a month, live tge dollar store plus we do most of our shopping at price chopper plus we saw our first movue a few months ago too
Great variety of stores!
Sad that Ralph Lauren left, but at least there is still Brooks Brothers, Bass, and a few other good ones. There is a good movie theater at this location as well known as "The T Rex."
Shopping and dining choices are varied. I miss the florist.
Saw a great movie
Not amazing, but a nice theater. The t-rex theater is a good experience. Clean with comfortable seats. 4 stars due to the fact that the lobby is small and it is hard to navigate when its busy.
The kitchen store has a bunch of neat gadgets !
Good shop there, but a lot of empty shops which is sad to see.
Go watch movies here. They usually get the 501st for star wars premiers so that's always fun especially for kids, big or small. Comfortable seating and good sized theaters. This is my preferred theater if I'm given a choice. Pretty good options for snacks too. I'm a twizzlers fan myself.
The movie actually died while we were in it. They refunded the ticket price, but not the online fee we paid for the tickets. The manager was snooty about it and our Christmas outing was ruined. How about some Xmas spirit?
Has the look and feel of an outlet center which won't be around much longer.
Decent shopping, not enough parking on a Saturday or Sunday
While the shops aren't that great, the theatre itself is probably the best in the state. Especially the T-rex theatre! Big comfy seats!
Great variety of shops and items, not too sprawled out, and quite walkable
Could use some more stores and different kinds of things put in but from what I've seen isn't to bad.
Didn't visit much. Hannaford and Turner's toys and hobbies. Both are great stores. Seems like alot of shopping in the area.
Place needs something to draw people in. Trying with those Thursday night taps, trucks and tunes but needs more
Great deal here
Went to see Avengers End Game. The theater was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The reason I gave it only 4 stars was due to the cost of everything. We paid almost $14 for 2 drinks and a med popcorn... It's unfortunate that they feel the need to gouge customers when tickets are already expensive.
A great discount outlet .... dying ... needs reviving with proper urban planning.
A dying shopping center. It's going to be turned into a condo development within the next 5 year's anyways.
A nice shopping area with a little for everyone, well worth your time. It is a tad pedestrian unfriendly and has a couple too many specialist clothes stores to earn all 5 stars.
Very fun an friendly Ok prices an feel safe there
Easy access.
Movies and great tacos, nothing wrong with that!
Super nice cinema with great managers/ ownership
Great variety of shops for all sorts of needs
Love the Kitchen, Etc store!
It's sad to see that when I used to come here the theater was stacked. But I came here a week ago to watch hotel transylvania 3 and there was me and a friend and 3 other people in the entire theater. But it's good bc then I had leg space and room to stretch. I hope that one day there is more people.
Best theater in the state, bar none. The screens are huge, especially the T-Rex and Theater 1, the place is always spotless, and they go above and beyond for big premiers.
First time back in years, am impressed with all the remodeling. Cheaper than Majestic 10, nice seating, clean. Sound system is a superior experience. Am looking forward to a 3D T-Rex movie in the future.
Nice to have close, quality stores. Sweet Clover Market is a gem. Phoenix Books is an amazing, real bookstore.
When you enter at first it seems somewhat small, but you'll come to find that they have large theatres with good seats, especially their "T-Rex" theatre, which is extra-large and has higher quality seats.
It would be a great mall if more of the stores were open. It looks like many of the stores were out of business. The stores we visited were clean and the staff was friendly.
Great service, great concessions and very clean. The staff is attentive and I love that they feature weekly sensory sensitive showings for families. Highly recommend!
The largest movie screen in the Burlington area is in Essex. This is a great theater to travel to for big movie premieres. The staff appears to enjoy event movies and host themed premiere weekends. We've enjoyed see some Summer blockbusters open at this theater. Prices are reasonable and this theater rarely sells out -- even for BIG movies. Online to let's see easy. Nice staff and clean environment. Plus, local mall has good options and shopping. Highly recommended!
Not bad.
Fun movie
Was there just the other day and got what was needed
Ace hardware, movie theater, Famous Footware and Hannafords.
Nice shops. A few great restaurants. Movie theater. Enough to keep you busy or get some outlet shopping done.
Very clean theater.. Always have a great time, never a bad experience.
Many stores are located in the back lot, clothing apparall food, etc. DOG FRIENDLY!.
Good Movie theater.
Super convenient!
We went to Essex Cinema to watch Aladdin and it was fantastic!
Good service.
They have a few great shops and one of the best movie screens in the state
As Montreal's We've been going there for years. We hadn't been in VT in the last year and we were so surprised to see how many stores had closed during our trip there this week. Good place for children clothing, Lane Bryant and van Heusen. That's it. Hopefully more store will open soon...like a sports clothing store.
Ok but upset wen Under Armor outlet left. I dont shop there any longer. Only Theater visits
Needs more shopping places
I can spend almost a day at the shops in Essex center.. there are a lot of outlets then grab some lunch at the Thai restaurant. Then even a movie... I call that a nice day!
Lower the rent on this abysmal ghost mall! I charge my EV here because they have a Level 3 DC fast charger. But I just sit in my car. There's nothing to buy. Also, the design of the mall itself is ludicrous. Getting in and out is a nightmare, especially next to CVS. Avoid this place at all costs.
Horrible place to shop . terrible driving conditions in the lot.
Great shopping experience, weather could of been a lill warmer
I love the Essex Shoppes and Cinema, best known as the Essex Outlets, here to us Vermonters.. We don't have any outlet stores here in Vermont so it's good to have at least one... I wish there were more stores that would stay filled more …
Love this outlet
The cinema itself is great. They could use some upgrading though, like recliners! But otherwise, the staff are great and friendly. We were new to the area and they made us feel welcomed. The prices and food are great as well.
Love seeing movies here and love their rewards program!!
They have comfortable seating and wonderful 3d movies
A lot of vacant stores but found some sales
This place is a ghost town, Berdas is great though.
Ace Hardware is ok
Ace hardware for paint
Good place
Great little shopping plaza.
Tons of parking and nice and quiet. The outlets are not the biggest outlet complex but it has most of the big names there. The cinema is also a nice addition to have there.
A great cinema offering 3d and great sound.
Friendly movie theatre...lots of choices...very comfortable.
Best movie theater in the area; good selection of movies, comfortable seats, friendly staff, and nice perks like a reward card and summer blockbuster promotions.
This theater is our family's go-to theater. When there is a special movie we want to see, we often buy our tickets in advance. The process to pick them up is easy, the snacks are served quickly by the friendly staff and we enjoy the show. We are credit watchers (people work hard to make films), so we often encounter the staff cleaning the theater. They always thank us for coming. The owners often have blood drives and that means a lot to me, a donor.
Small simple theater
