The stores are meh and usually don't have the friendliest people working. The stores I've known throughout the years have either moved and become independent stores or just vanished completely. The mall has been on a rapid decline for the past few years and its time for a change! The property cna be used for great things!

This was our first visit here. We were staying in Brownsville & this mall was nearby. There are many of the popular stores here, i.e. JC Penney, Sears, Dillard's, etc. It also has a nice food court with several restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed our visit here.

I like going to this mall. Though it's sort small it's very convenient. Victoria's secret, bath and body works and jcp are my to go places. Dillards is there, couple shoe places, overall a nice place to walk without bumping with ppl bc it's so packed.

This place could hardly be called a mall at all. Really this place would be lucky to have as much buisness or stores running in what you would expect to see in a strip mall no bigger than 1/4 of a city block.

It feels like there were virtually no stores in this mall but that might just be the state of the economy and not necessarily a reflection of the mall. Would be great if they had a maternity store here because it is impossible to find a decent selection of maternity clothing anywhere in this general area of the valley.

A pretty calm place to be not to busy except on weekends and holidays, love the food court, it comes with holds gym and a kids bounce house that I think charge by the hour. The only thing I wish they should have that they used to have is a arcade and needed more stores because going towards Sears you see empty store but over all great mall to be at...

This is a small mall, but it has several large anchors work visiting, and a reasonable food court. I was able to grab a quick bite and wander around a bit, not a bad smaller mall. I would go back here, it had enough to make a return visit worthwhile, and in the blazing heat of Harlingen, a large space with AC is very welcome.

They still have a few good stores in here but it's kind of a sad sight as well there's an entire section that's completely closed down and abandoned aside from an end store. They also lost two of their anchor stores as well, most likely because of the area we are in is just not able to support the mall anymore. I feel like the small will likely close down at some point just like the one from my childhood home did.

The mall was once a bustling place. Now there are only a handful of stores, and it looks like a ghost town. I only go here when I really need to as there is only one store I visit. 3 stars for lack of store diversity, bring some new businesses and it'll revamp the mall, or stay as is and watch it sink.

Gold's Gym is great for Seniors. They have a great exercise room for women only and weight classes for Seniors. Great place!!!

I really like this mall I'd give it more stars but the reason why I like it so much is also the reason I can't give it a perfect score. I don't like shopping at malls typically because of overcrowding but this mall is the polar opposite of that and it's closer to a ghost town. That's the reason I enjoy going here because it's peaceful. You get the help and attention you need when you're shopping. The only problem with it being slow is that several stores can't stay in business to strive here. The stores that do exist make it work. Perhaps it's time to redesign this mall with growth in mind.

Sad to see this place so deteriorated. Loved this place back in its heyday. Now there are very few shops left in the facility, leaving an entire wing of the mall practically shut down. Because of this I believe they shut off the ac for that part of the building making it uncomfortable to walk around... but it’s not like there are a lot of shops to walk around to anyways. Definitely needs an update in the food court. Tables and chairs are worn out and look gross like they’re always sticky. A couple of shops that are still there are definitely worth the trip though: Rack room outlet, JC Penny, the Juice spot, and the China Pantry in the food court.

This area is absolutely amazing. So much to choose from. It's almost as big as a carnival and has many stores such as Game Stop, K's, Eye glass exams, beauty salons and more! If you're looking for a good time, this is the best place for you here. Come on by to the mall and enjoy yourself!

It's not a bad little mall. I like the shops and food court here. The place could use some updates though. It feels a little old and dirty. Took the kids there and they both got super sick with the flu. Not sure if it's a lack of ventilation or that surfaces aren't cleaned enough...but probably both. Hopefully they refurbish this place soon, because it could be great with some love.

I had not been to Valle Vista Mall in a very long time. The only big department stores are Dillard's and JC Penney's. One section of the mall to the left of Dillard's had no stores at all. There were also several empty spaces throughout the other part of the mall as well. I was surprised to see a Gold's Gym within the mall. They also have a place for entertainment, but it does not open until 4 in the afternoon. There is this place that sells cookies. The cookies are delicious.

Shopping center in Harlingen at the intersection of highway 77 and 83. Good location and easy on/off the highway. There are some nice stores, but many vacant spaces inside. The shopping mall is clean and maintained well. Lots of parking available so you don't have to walk too far.
