Out door areas need misters. to hot to walk around outside, and most items are sold at same price as main store and there is a no return policy for most stores.

The outlets are great in Mercedes, TX. Just don't go on a Saturday or on Black Friday late in the afternoon. Unless you don't mind LONG lines and TONS of people. Your best bet is to go during the week. Even at night is better than on a Saturday.

Huge place, you can spend half day walking with the family hunting some sales, but what I like is the many stores that you can find and make your eyes happy-go-round I love the Bostonian shoe store, and will be ny next stop for a new pair of great shoes.

My family and I visited Rio Grande Outlets and really enojyed the experience. October it's a good time to be there, because weather is not that hot. for kids you can find stores like Children's Place, Croc's, & Carter's. If you need something for teenagers, you can find it at Gap, American Eagle, H&M or Justice

We like to go shopping here. It's nice, clean and not too crowded. I don't really see much of a difference with normal retail prices though. I wouldn't really call it an outlet. There is something for everyone. Be prepared to walk outside in the heat a lot.

This is a great shopping outlet for the area. Which lacks good shopping options. There are a lot of good stores there. The food court has good options, and is usually very busy. The customer service that I experienced at the outlet was good. Staff were attentive. This shopping outlet is larger than what a lot of people would expect. Given its location. That's because it serves a large area of South Texas. People come from all over, the McAllen and Brownsville area and places north. Not to mention people from Mexico. Its often crowded. Yet its kept clean. There's a lot of parking space. This an outdoor outlet. Keep that in mind when its warm. Its somewhere I'd definitely recommend if in the area.

The outlets are great but I'm my opinion there are not enough deals to drive over there.... And the heat!! Why aren't there any cooling down areas designated for the people walking... I know you can dive into a store if it gets too be too much but it would be nice to have some cooling down areas outside as well

I am not really an outlet mall shopper but I forget that when I visit the Rio Grande outlets. Their prices are much better than the prices of other outlet malls, they have a great selection of stores and I especially like their jewelry stores. The best thing is that they have ample shade and misters so you are never caught in the sun and can enjoy the outdoor mall year round.

Was bummed to see Off Sak's 5th Avenue & Cole Haan were gone, I specially stopped for these two stores on Sunday evening. I mean, who needs Off Saks when ya got H&M, right?!

Very rude lady at the lemonade stand. She starting yelling loud and proud at me in Spanish cuz I wanted lemonade. She even charged me a random extra dollar. I also went to old navy and the cashier wasn't very nice either. She had this attitude and even looked like she caught herself being rude to me. I didn't get her name but she was the only older one at the register.

My 1st time ever visiting here and I loved it!! Everything name brand you can want you can find here. From clothes, to sneakers, to boots, to cologne you can find it here. The food court is lovely with great food and atmosphere. Service in the whole area is awesome and give this place 2

Its nice but l have trouble waking distance so can see much of the stores and walking outside specially when its hot just wears me out. I even tried parking near the stores l need to go. Like most outlets there are a lot of open spaces 15+ but still some main brands with good deals - like Coach, Spade, Nike, Disney. Service is good though. It is an outdoor mall with a couple of areas for kids.

There are dozens of outlet stores here. The prices are ok, but don't expect to get rock bottom prices on their overstocked merchandise. I've seen better sales in regular stores on a lot of this merchandise. The place is crowded on most weekends. Beat the crowds by coming early on a weekday.
