Went here recently for a big concert and was expecting to have a lot of trouble finding parking, but the parking garage directly across the street had plenty of space (and was only $12!). Venue was large, yet somehow cozy and all of the staff was super efficient.

Lauren Charles

Very nice place. Several places to visit all in one area. Walking distance from each other.

These gentrified kids and adults are so fkg annoying.

Gianfranco Petrella

Great place!

John Donato

Really pretty place for Charity events that I have attended. One issue to beware of is the Valet Parking on the side is higher than the one right in front. Doesn't make sense but $10 for the one in from of the Bayou Place and $20 for the one on the side.

Rosaurydelvalle Viaje

We had tickets for a Troy Sivan concert bought months before in June at the Sugarland Town Center to take my teen daughter and friend. The demographics for this performer is mainly teen girls 13, 14, 15ish. I purposely bought SEATS because I didnt want to stand in a pit for hours. Days before the concert I receive notice that the venue has moved downtown to Revention Center. Really? I hate that place. Standing room only...no seats. Really loved all the homeless people sleeping next to the venue and tour buses under the bridge. Way to represent Houston to outsiders. Doors were to open at 6:30 but didn't open until 6:50. We stood outside in line wrapped around the bldg for about an hour+. Check-in was good and I liked the security process with metal detectors and bag/purse check. Safety first. All the parents there with their teen kids had a choice of standing the whole event or being completely away from our kids in the front of the bldg. Creepy. Me and the other parents were very disappointed. I know this place has hundreds of folding chairs and there were ample seats in the balcony that were roped off to everyone. You could buy a table for $100ish. Thanks for letting me stand for 4 hours after working all day on a Monday. My daughter had a great time at least and I would do anything for her. Performers were good as was security. That being said...the event I went to prior to this one did have folding seats and we were crammed in so tight it was awful. Was only 3 rows back and couldn't barely see the stage with tall people in front of us...and the guy sitting next to my mom took up half of her seat and she was half on mine. Thank goodness the people didn't show up next to me so I could move to that seat. Awful experience. Won't be back.

Aleksej Agafonov

Beautiful place.

Dwight Hudson

Nice to meet people.

Vonda Adewole

Very enjoyable atmosphere parking issues

Ryan Shaffer

Really cool open music venue, lots of Bars so there was no lines. Prices weren't too bad

Rod Cabral

The older you get the better this place gets. When you're young and waiting for a show, sitting on concrete for 2 hours is fine. As I grew I can now enjoy the different restaurants and enjoy a light snack with some heavy drinking before an amazing concert.

Plutonium Dragon

Great selection of places to eat and enjoy a drink.

Amanda Hankins

Saw deep purple so exciting!!!

Tammy Clemmons

Revention Center is the bomb!!! Had a blast tonight!

Ivan Barboza

Theo123 M

Love the place and fusion of foods

Melissa Padilla Wegner

Lots of dinning and entertainment venues in a central location. Not very crowded but good for dinner before a show and easy access in and out of parking garage. Great place to start and end an evening out in downtown Houston.

polk positive

Great intimate venue to see your favorite show.

Mary Gant

We have a great time for Just Dance! Hope they come back!

Alexander Barboza

Hard Rock Cafe Baby!!! I love this place

Aye I'm Sam

Nice venue! Smaller, no frills type place but staff was great, drinks were good. Clean! They ran out of jalepenos at the concession stand but the event was too good to worry about small stuff. One patron became ill during the show and the staff worked quickly to assist that individual.

Debra Redd

Went to concert with my home girl we had a great time.

David den Boer

Nice place to get a walk in

Miguel Quinones

Drinks were very pricey but the venue is AWESOME. We saw the Los Lonely Boys which were preceded by two other groups. Lisa Morales and Los Lobos. We haven't been to a concert in a long time but this venue was excellent and we will be back.

sunglint .

The Revention Center is not a bad place to see a concert. They had metal detectors at the front but we're pretty polite about it. Our tickets were up high on the side and we had a great view. I thought the tickets were expensive but there were three good bands. The drinks however were outrageous, a 36oz Bud Light and small draft cider costs $24. I could see a concert there again, but won't be drinking there.

Karisma Caicedo

The venue is fairly nice. However, the Valet stole my money out of my locked glove department & my phone charger. (MNM Enterprises) When asked about it, they denied it and pointed at the receipt which states they are not liable for anything. I will advise you to park somewhere else or Uber. Hopefully this helps someone!

Jessica Stacey

Just a nice plac to see/experience a concert

Leo Fromage

Nothing special. We go there when House of Blues sends us free tickets. Then it's standing room only and $8 beers (cheapest domestic). Otherwise we'd probably never go there.

Alicia Lawrence

I went to the revention center. Seating could have been better. It was folding chairs. And the was no gradual elevation in seating, so it was hard to see the stage.

susie brzozowski

Loved the architecture of the buildings in downtown Houston.

Heather Blake

There was no water on the waterfall the day we went.

William Hamilton

Too hectic, moderate quality.

Frank J Rod

There's a lot going on at this place. The Revention Music Center is here. The Hard Rock is also here. Other restaurants & shops are also located within this shopping center. It's downtown & always busy.

Rajkumar Tomar

I love this place

Nicole Jennings

I don't remember this. Not remarkable just ok

David Adebayo

Had a great preconcert hangout at the hard Rock Cafe. Albeit service was a bit slow but good. Manager was very welcoming and accomodating

Mir Avila

Good place for events, friendly and safe

Demetria Hargrove

I love this little shopping strip. It’s lit up so nice and filled with a lot to do. I highly recommend watching a few games of roller derby, it was so much fun. I wouldn’t recommend Hard Rock Cafe unless you catch them during the week. I haven’t tried the other eating places yet but that’s next on my list to do. Definitely worth visiting. Go early to get good parking or you can always valet

Veronica Vera

Great skyline!

rkhami68 .

Great concert venue. Saw wrestling there and loved it

pop Sebastian

Awesome memorabilia

CTI Houston

Great Hang out spot

Dmitri Melendez

Great place to see a concert.

Dale Jenkins

Gators walk among us

Greg Lins

Nice parking lot. Plenty of air conditioning. Uncomfortable seating.

quintin arnwine

The atmosphere here is always thrilling for some reason. Though I have only been to Blue Fish and Hard Rock. I think it's safe to say that all of the places here are thriving because of their good food. Valet parking is a bit high but an expected price for the area. I'd rather park on the streets after 6p.m. and enjoy the scene with a little walk.

Vic Jackson

Love the theater and the restaurants. Blue fish is my current favorite sushi place. The theater was bought out recently but has always been a good place due to reserved seating system. Hopefully that same concept is transferred to the new ownership

Ronnie Watts

Cool place! Not crowded at all during the weekday!

Kris Larsen

Sketchy elevator even sketchier stairwell. You are right downtown by Landry's Aquarium. Most of my issues are with the parking garage. Signage is not clear how to get out, easy to miss where to turn. Pretty tight fit, not good if you have a big truck. Elevator to the ground floor was pretty bouncy and took forever to open. Took stairwell next time, won't do it again. The garage is what took off the star.

Amanda Holt

Nice venue

Cristopher .

I JUST LOVE IT

Dawn Mayfield

Great place something for everyone

Adrian Mendoza

Lots of great restaurants and shopping. A bit upscale but more affordable and accessible than say, the Galleria. Try Zoe's for a healthy and delicious lunch, and the Barnes & Noble for a coffee and a good book.

emilia golden

Great place for concerts and its indoors. If you live in the Houston/Galveston area you wont have to go far, it has great parking too!

Shane McGinnis

Not a bad seat in the house

Pao Santa

It's ok!

G S!

Good location for events.... Otherwise very quite... Few restaurants... The entire area is well kept... There are few parking spots... Close to the water....

Shelby Morgan

The acts are great, the venue is good, the whole process of getting in is absolutely horrible, changes from show to show.

Allstar Ambassador

A collection of fabulous restaurants and bars as well as the revention Music Center and Hard Rock Cafe. Arrange transportation with Allstar Transportation limousine in tours.

Kori Eichhorn

It was great and we had a blast!

William Odom

We went to hard rock cafe but afterwords went to concert always a great place for wwe events have never been to a concert here but have been looking to go here

Sam B

I love the Bayou trails. Rent a bike for $3 for 30 minutes and see downtown.

Nnenna Umelloh

This isn't a good place to go shopping in a traditional sense. I also wouldn't recommend driving here. Take the metro rail here. It is good for hanging out with a group of friends, getting food and watching a movie. Come here when it's beautiful outside.

Chris Soto

2nd date........perfect place

Joy Brown

Lovely! The layout was so beautiful not to mention the great customer service! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Michael Adame

Pricey but worth it.

Randall Spriggs

Ate at Hard Rock, good food and friendly staff.

Robert Smith

Great place shaggy an u b 40 was good willgo back

Jose C

Fun for all occasions

Ryan Brand

Great places to bring your family and the entertainment and food a approved.

Craig Rios

Awesome small venue to catch a show, they attract some pretty big names and there isn't a bad seat in the venue. The parking garage is located right beneath the venue so parking is a breeze.

Ebony Panther

My favorite movie theater.

Joshua Loy

Went to buy you place to see the #BLOOM Tour by Troye Sivan at the revention Music Center. It was the best time of my life the building is nice clean and easy to see from the street and very close to multiple parking garages.

Chris Daniel

A hidden gem for events. Located upstairs where the triple bar once was, it is a fantastic spot for banquets, galas, or upscale community events. Suggestion: take the same elevator you would for the movie theater to get there fastest.

Andrea Jewett

Great attractions and parking is right in the middle of it

Steven Scheck

Such a awesome place to be for a zz top concert!

Johnny Martinez

The owners of Bayou Place actually came out to support the cause. They are very gracious to the community. GHBC really is such a great way for businesses to connect and give back.

Eduardo Martinez

Very cool and chill venue for concerts. Have seen everything from from rock to hip hop. Can't go wrong w even sitting up top since venue is small and you'll still have a great view but personally the pit is where it's at! Not overpriced either like others. Always a good time here.

Phillip Powell

The crawfish is outstanding! The service could use some TLC for sure.

brittany swinburn

The blue fish is a great lunch and dinner spot

Ernesto Faz

Nice food and the cinema right there

Ashli Kleier

Just shopped at various stores

Freddie Parker

Great Venue

Sammy Peters

Decent outdoor shopping mall

henry gilbert

Great everything! The memories I am building with the kiddos makes it worthwhile.

Jess Nel

It was awesome. Truly an unforgettable experience!

William Texas

If you don't use valet parking, it's a challenge to get parking at one of the city's overpriced meters. Plus the COH's parking permit machines sometimes charge your credit card and don't give you a parking permit. Basically going to Bayou Place or parking anywhere downtown is something I'm going stop doing. Downtown Houston is sadly not a consumer friendly area. It's fine if you work there and have paid parking at or near an office building, but if you don't work there it's not really worth the effort and safety risk to go.

Arthur Howard Jr.

It's great good ,movies parties related atmosphere you'll love it drop in some time.

Anthony Francis

Great sushi at fairly reasonable prices! Special rolls are huge!

D Banks

Excellent Venue to see a performance. It small and the seats are not comfortable, however it's a small with good acoustics.

Kerri McHayle

Nice area for a post concert meal.
