The best new car purchase experience I've ever had. I wanted a new truck and had it narrowed down to two. Karen explained all of the features of the two trucks then we test drove both models. I told her exactly what features I wanted and she ordered the truck. Before I left the dealer, we had worked out trade values and bottom line cost - This only took about 2 hours total. At no point did I feel like I was being "worn down" or pressured into buying something I didn't want. 6 weeks later I got a phone call that my new truck was in. I came out, took a look at the truck and it was exactly what I wanted. Another 60 minutes to do the paperwork and trade in my old truck and I was on the road with my new truck! A big thank you to the Prostrollo team for making this the most hassle free and enjoyable vehicle purchase experience I've ever had! After this experience, I'll never buy a vehicle anywhere else but Prostrollo.

My salesman was great! Polite, easy to talk to and would go the extra mile. Then I got talking to the finance manager and he wanted to sell me insurance saying that my original insurance company wouldn’t offer but actually does. When I told him I didn’t want to buy his insurance he got very irritated and rude for the rest of my visit. Definitely 2 stars.

Just got a new Dodge Challenger from these guys and felt that I was treated honestly and very fairly throughout the whole process. The price on the car was very fair and the paperwork and delivery were handled very professionally and very friendly. John Draper, John Christensen, and Joe Collins all treated me with kindness and respect and I never felt anything other than genuine appreciation and honesty. I would definitely buy here again. I don't live in (or even close to) Madison. They made it worth the trip.

My pickup wasn’t running correctly at the start of an early morning trip and had to come to Prostrollo’s get it evaluated and they were able to diagnose and repair the problem with only a 2 hour delay in my trip. Found a truck in Brookings but went to Postrollo's on a recommendation. Found a really great truck (or so we thought) for $3000 less. They were really nice and anxious to sell. Four days later we needed to take the truck in to be fixed. $4000 later, we are still finding a little bit here and there that is wrong with the truck. We were told to drive three hours there to have it looked at because they didn't trust the place we took it to. We took it to a local trusted dealer. This would have meant driving three hours to drop it off, drive home in a rental, come back in a few days just to pick it up. From a place that couldn't do a proper inspection. THEY are the ones we don't trust. They told my husband they can't check everything on every car. Really? That's how you sell cars? Highly recommended my foot. Goody bag? Yeah, that all went in the trash - I will not support their business.

Just bought a used Tahoe from Prostrollos. Very welcoming staff, easy to work with, and a no pressure environment. When we arrived to test drive, Goldy had the vehicle cleaned, pulled up to the door, and warmed up for our test drive. No pressure, let us test drive for as long as we needed. Was able to have a very casual conversation without being pressured into a sale. I would highly recommend Prostrollos and Goldy as a salesman. They will stand by their vehicles after the sale too. We will definitely use them again.

Sales department is ok to work with, however I would not ever use either service department ever again. It took 4 days to replace a tire pressure sensor on my Jeep. I was told it would take 20 minutes. The Lincoln service department tried to sell me new tires when the current tires had about 3,000 miles on them. Lincoln service is very poor in comparison to other Lincoln garages.

My son brought his car in to get a quote for service. He did not authorize any work. They did not do anything to the car. They did not mention a fee before he left the car. They didn't even mention it when he picked the car up. But they still sent him a bill for labor. This type of underhand, sneaky behavior is not what I would expect from a reputable company dealing with locals. Do not trust these people with your vehicle.

My expectations for the used car buying experience are pretty simple. Treat me with respect, allow me the flexibility to conduct my own inspections, start at a reasonable price point, and simplify the transaction process. Prostrollo met and exceeded those expectations. We purchased a minivan from Prostrollo in Madison, SD on a snowy Wednesday in November 2014. We live in Kansas City and were visiting family in Sioux Falls for Thanksgiving. I talked to Prostrollo ahead of time to let them know I was coming. On the day we arrived, Prostrollo had the van ready to go, handed me the keys, and encouraged me to take as long as I needed. They even went as far as including the names of the previous local owners. We drove the van extensively, took it to a local mechanic for inspection, spoke with the previous owner, and most critically tested the DVD player (kid essential). After a couple hours, we returned to the dealer, negotiated the price, closed the transaction, and were on the road in about 30 minutes. While most people were still preparing for Black Friday, my shopping was done! Throughout the process, the folks at Prostrollo were friendly and professional. Prostrollo exemplifies small town, South Dakota values. When you start from a basis of mutual respect and genuine interest in other humans, a smooth transaction will follow. Despite the geographic distance, Prostrollo will be on my short list the next time I’m in the market for a vehicle.

Just bought a car from these guys. Yes the price was reduced. For me it was a big buy so even though I wasn't getting a "showroom" buy I would have liked to have been treated as such. I showed up to look at vehicle and fell in love with the car. I told the salesman that I would take it, but needed to get a loan from my bank. He said he could do a soft hold, but if someone walked in to buy it her still would have to sell it to them. I noticed it had a 30 day warranty on it. I told him that was awesome made me feel secure in my buy. Quickly he told me that won't come with my car because they gave me a "deal". A few days later I put some cash down to hold it because I worried it would not be held. I went to pick up my car signed papers (even the warranty one) thought they had a change of heart. No hoorah or anything exciting. Wait I did get a goodie bag (ballcap, oven mitt, cutting board, a lazer, and some paper-all sporting there logo) In fact the salesman was out and some other guy did the work. I felt I was just an easy sell...I found the car, I called the dealer, I drove there, I gave them my cash. No need even for a salesman! My car has a very minor issue that should have been caught in a 24 point inspection. And they won't fix it because no warranty. But even if I did he said would cost more than a mom and pop garage. My frustration is why it wasn't caught in the first place. And what else wasn't caught? Time will tell. Overall I am happy with my car, but extremely unhappy with the customer service.

The service department is awesome. My son just started attending DSU from Arizona. He had an electrical problem with his car and called me in Az. Not knowing anyone in Madison I called Prostrollo and spoke to Kip. He was awesome. They picked up my sons car at the college, took it back to the shop, and fixed the problem for half the price I was expecting. Being so far from my son, I am very grateful for their help and service.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT. I went through mopar for my Jeep Wrangler, and they said this place is a gorilla glass dealer. On the phone they said yes they are, and that it retails at $700, but they get a discount and could install for $400. Not only did it take 7 hours to do ONE windshield, they lied about it being gorilla glass and used the excuse “I never told your daughter it was gorilla glass.” Yet a regular mopar windshield retails for $250. So explain how you gave me the ball park of 700 for it?
