I'm a musician, the band and I come here sometimes to just goof around on some instruments before practice. They have a pretty good selection of basses, guitars, and drums, along w things I've never even heard of. Awesome place to hang out tho.

Overall I was pleased with my shopping experience. Guitar Center was suggested by a friend of mine. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that I had an opportunity to browse without being asked every 10 seconds if I needed help. However, when I was ready to purchase and had questions the staff was very helpful. On my 1st visit I left my wallet at home and the staff was kind enough to hold my items until I returned about an hour later. That's what I call good customer service. I will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. They have pianos, drums, guitars you can try out. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. Also there is this peaceful wooden room where you can try out different acoustic guitars. I was in there Saturday and there were 2 guys playing the acoustic guitars they wowed me and they were nice. I do wish I knew there names though.

Very pleasant staff, but completely failed to tell my dad that he needed to buy a cable for the guitar he just bought himself for his birthday—after driving 45 minutes and spending nearly an hour talking about his decision to buy his first guitar, with a very clear indication that he knew nothing about guitars or how to play.

They have a HUGE selection of whatever you're looking for at this store. The staff is very great and knowledgeable of the products they sell. I was looking to purchase an electric guitar and amp for my son which I knew nothing about. The salesman was very helpful in making sure I made the best selection. Everything about this place was amazing the customer service was very friendly and punctual. They gave me a lot of insight on their lessons and different types of instruments. And for people with children it's a nice place to go. They're not like other places where you go and bring children they're constantly watching them or telling them to stop they were very friendly and children friendly.

I have had very mixed experiences at this guitar center. A few of their associates are very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, many of their staff members only want to sell you things and are not helpful if you have a problem with their product. I am not sure if they make commission... but they only seem to care about getting your money.

Service is slightly slacking, at least compared to the Greenville store. I was interested in a pretty high end sub, but the gentleman in Pro Audio tried selling me the cheapest brand they stock. Basically no demo models of higher end keyboards, just $150-300 models. No pro grade units. Overall not a bad music store.
