Southway Plaza took a big hit after Benny's and Ocean State Job Lot left. It seems to be coming back with Planet Fitness moving in to the Benny's location and Flame Restaurant and Catering opening their doors in the former China Star location. The Ocean State Job Lot property is still vacant.

The people are friendly which is the only reason this gets any stars... Otherwise I've had credit card charge issues almost every rental I've had when they were through insurance and it was not the fault of the insurance company... then to top it off my last rental they charged me for a car detail and said I smoked in it when I'm a nonsmoker. They charge 300 dollars when that's far more than any detail service costs. So I do not recommend this particular Hertz at all.
