RI Mall is not a mall anymore. It is being rented rented by large department stores that are not connected. It is upper and lower parts of the old spaces. Us locals still refer to this as RI Mall. It's to bad. I gave only 1 star because it really isn't consideted one to me.

They are working on bringing this side of the river up to what the other side is at the Warwick Mall. I think they don't have a shot when you put an overpriced homegoods store. And an overpriced sports store.. sorry about the bad news, but they won't make it..they moved to this location from 1 mile up the road..it didn't work there and it won't work here..God Bless

This is not a mall as far as I'm concerned. There are numerous stores, but they are not attached like a mall should be. It is a convenient place to go. There is a Walmart, Kohl's, Burlington, At home and a few other stores

at this point it's pretty much just walmart. forget if they still have a kohl's in an anchor store slot, the 100 or so inside spots been closed for over a decade. don't go there if you're looking for a mall. more than 2 shops at any road size plaza is a better trip.

Possibly one of the best, most authentic malls in the state. It is one of a few so called "malls" that is not merely a shopping plaza. All stores are connected within the building. The stores are diverse and offer a unique and special shopping experience for anyone who chooses to visit. A good place to eat, to hang out, to shop, to catch a movie, and much much more is available at this mall.

New stores r making this a "to go" shopping experience, however there is a very large trench -hole that continues to get larger on the exit lane going from home goods toward east ave behind Chuck n Cheese - it had gotten so large that there is a shopping cart in the hole so that no one will drive into it - very dangerous & has been that way for quite some time - where's the owner of this property? Could cause a serious problem having someone getting injured let along the damage caused to the vehicle! Where is the management of the property!!!

Wouldn't really consider this to be a "Mall" anymore, but there are a variety of stores and a couple restaurants located within the plaza; none of the stores/restaurants require you to enter the actual "mall", each store having it's own enterance accessible from the parking lot. Kohls, Burlington Coat Factory, Wal-Mart, At Home, Dick's Sporting Goods, Planet Fitness, Chuck E Cheese, Wendy's, Subway, On the Border, and BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse are all located within the plaza.

Only went to Old Navy. Had received a fall coat for my granddaughter as s gift. She is five years old and didn't like the army green color. She thought it looked like "a teenaged boys color." I brought it back, with the receipt, in hopes of getting her a purple or pink coat, her favorite colors. The only other color was Navy blue, and of course, she didn't like that "boy color" either. I went to the counter with the receipt to get the money back so I could get her something she liked at another store. I was told that bc her great grandma used a credit card, I had to either have the money put on an Old Navy gift card, or the money had to go back on her great grandma's credit card. My granddaughter broke down in tears bc she couldn't get a coat she liked. Her great grandma lives two states away. She had bought this for her bc I didn't have the money to get her a jacket, and it has been colder, so she needed it. Very, very, very disappointed. The little girls department, first of all, should have little girls colors. And if you can only provide something she hates, we should be able to spend the money elsewhere.

This mall has seen better days, but it appears to be "coming back". Although Sears just recently closed, the space has been re-occupied by a Dick's Sporting Goods. As others have mentioned, there are still a few other decent shops still alive here as well, but overall I would have to agree that the Warwick Mall (right around the corner) has superior offerings.

I love shopping at the Rhode Island Mall all the vent is very kind and courteous so all the people there and they got a lot of good bye so I highly suggest you visit it in the food's not bad either

How many years ago was the flood? This mall used to be something. Now they're putting in garbage like planet fitness and dicks? Yeah I think of going to work out when I think of the mall. Whoever is in charge of renting these units out should be fired. You're going to run it into the ground. AGAIN!!! Warwick mall is still going to kill you because they have better stores aimed at younger generations that actually spend money. Yeah, Kohls and Wal-Mart will keep you afloat but why just survive? Stand out and be something.

I use to go to R.I. Mall all the time. Now there is not many stores within the mall. And they closed my store Sears which was a bitter disappointment. They were the best Sears around.

Formerly known as Midland Mall, this is an inside mall where few stores have outside entrances (Walmart is one). Has many popular chains and used to have some not so well known ones. The Warwick Mall on the other side of the river has stores the RI Mall doesn't. They compliment each other that way.

I only gave three stars because of the lack of stores and current ongoing construction and the fact that until recently they were in a steady decline. However there seems to be a lot of promise from this once great mall. I look forward to shopping here once the construction is over and hopefully it will be as great as I remember it once was.

I only shopped at Kohls but there is also a very large Walmart and Burlington Coat Factory in the mall, there isn't a huge selection of stores like other malls have but the one's they do have are great stores with good prices and parking is always easy to find. All in all I think Rhode island mall is a great place to shop.
