This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
Love that it is still an indoor mall and not that Gateway broken up stuff. I usually only go for Victoria secrets and a cinnamon roll once in a while. But I still love it if I choose to go shopping.
The food court is getting smaller, but they still have Cinnabon
Great Mall to come in shop at lots of different stores decent food and the food court. Most everybody who works here are friendly
Great place for a rainy day!
I'd give it five stars but man, it's certainly changed since I was a kid. It seems barren now. But the changes coming seem pretty cool. I'm glad they're bringing back a legit arcade, the one next to the kids play area leaves a bit to be desired but hey, it's a small section. Main reason I come to VRC is for regal and imax, and perusing clothes. Havent really bought anything in a while other than some knick knacks at a hobby store for my lady. I do see theres construction on this new family fun center, and I'm really hoping that's the shot of life VRC needs to feel like it's a vibrant and fun place to be in general.
Great place to take the kids and walk around. Children's museum on the 2nd level. Fun for everyone!
Great mall for a small town, need better food options in the food court. With all the construction parking can be annoying but once completed the new entrance should be awesome.
It had everything I wanted
Clean, good selection of stores. Something for everyone.
Typical mall. If your fifteen you can't get enough. If your 30.... You can't wait to leave...
Nice place to go on my work break.
Great mall but I always get lost in it , confusing layout.
I enjoy JC Penny's, not so much the mall. Everything's way over priced!!
This place was very welcoming, and had lots of shops that we loved! The candy shop there is very nice, thw food court has a good selection of places and the employees at the shops Are so nice! The only reason i chose to put 4 stars, is that I personally do not like crowds, but if you are okayw ith that, 5 stars all the way!
Clean, inviting, good store selection
It's fine, there were 2 Forever 21's for whatever reason, and the place was crowded as all hell. I only went to Spirit Halloween, Elephant Trunk, Hot Topic, and Gamestop and was thoroughly disappointed by all but one, which was ET, a pretty cute, little toy store which I had a nice time walking around in. The center itself is alright, but it's a mall, so most things in the mall were quite low quality and expensive.
Everything you could need all in one place pretty much.
If the family bathroom wasn't always locked that would be awesome. Or maybe have more than one. Other than that issue, the store selections are decent. Beware the child cart rental has jumped up to $10, so I'd recommend bringing a stroller if you have littles.
No idea how this place is still around. There are so many empty spots. This used to be the place to be but it has fallen by the wayside as mall become less and less relevant to today's consumer. The very modern theater is the only reason I can see to visit the soon to be relic of the past.
Nice, cozy, and lovely place to shop ang hung up w/friends and family!
Good mall , loved Macy's. Especially Macy's new clearance room .
went with my best friend and we had fun
Definitely my mall of choice the shops I like lots to see good food
Nothing that I was intetested in. Went in for 1 particular store, and it's no longer there.
The mall is clean and has a lot of great attractions. The children's museum up stairs is well liked by my daughter, and the upcoming bowling alley looks promising.
Not much to do there anymore just like Gateway
I love going thru VRC it's always been a nice place to visit and there are some great stores to go to there
If you enjoy having literally hundreds of parking spots to choose from, then you have come to the right place! Once you park your car you can go inside one of the biggest buildings per square foot in Eugene! Luckily you will not be alone. There are easily 100 hundred people in this massive mega mall with you. You'll see babies on up to centurions hanging out in comfy massage chairs or walking in wild wonderment. However is you want more valley and river, but less mall, your gonna have to leave this place. If do somehow make it outside I recommend checking out the beautiful Willamette river and the majestic mountains.
Very clean bright space a good selection of stores and kiosks around the mall.
This morning I went to the Hallmark Store, so glad it's still there. Many good stores to shop and browse.
Good place to shop and eat
Very limited shop selection. Definitely geared towards the middle School and high school age groups.
Valley river center is a very poor mall. The play area for kids is always crazy busy with teenagers who are jumping around and being rowdy. I can't let My kids play because I am afraid they will get hurt. Won't be back to this mall.
Loved the Children's Museum. What a great place for families. Eugene is truly a child centered place.
It was an enjoyable mall to visit, but it's obvious that this decaying husk is nothing compared to its former glory. The grotesque parasites that flit between it's halls are only the waste product of the American dream. It's a pity.
Awesome place to go lots of stores
The place is HUGE! lots of shops both inside and adjacent, (really love memory lane sword and knife shop) I like to take my kiddo to eat there.
I miss the old days at VR, with the delicious restaurant, the wishing pool and Hickory Farms open year round.
Decent movie theater, assorted clothes shops, and mobile phone repair.
Nice mall, lots of shopping and food options. The IMAX theaters are a great draw.
I've always enjoyed VRC. They continue to make impressive changes. Like the new blades and knives store. It's awesome! A must see. Whoever put that store together knows their sh**! I went there to see Avengers Endgame. Was almost late getting in to see the movie because I lost track of time looking at all the amazing stuff. And the staff, the woman behind the counter, knows her sh**! Very knowledgeable. Very impressive. I wish I could remember her name. I think it was Rachel. Love it!
I mean.... it's a pretty typical mall. Not great, not awful.
Glad to still have a small around.
Luv the new VRC, it has a new look now. I like seeing the security cars drive around, I feel safe & could get help if I need it.
Lots to do and I noticed a good size food bar. I like the Full size women's stores are on the same side of the Mall Away from the food bar
Nicely layout mall. Easy to navigate and good selection of shops. There is a food court with a nice selection of different foods. Mall was also very clean. Though I only wanted from store to store. I really liked what I saw and energies I felt. I definitely will revisit and explore more.
Good selection of stores, nice atmosphere
I really like this mall good stores and nice and mello
If you're rich you can shop here, otherwise stay out!
Victoria's secret a d forever 21 love them Macy's also
It's cool, all's need to do something drastic to make malls come alive.. all malls so this place is great otherwise just the same as the rest :)
Great layout, tons of parking, but needs more stores.
With so much around I get lost easily. I wish it were bigger at times, but then I would get even more lost than I already do.
It' has GameStop inside.... LOL.... movie theaters a little spendy
Mall is a good size with different stores to shop around and have fun. The food court has variety of food selection.
Always love shopping here
Lots of stores, pretzels to ice cream and 6 food restaurants, candy clothes, Macy's jcpenney. ...
Sections are walled off from others...harder for handicap to get around inside without having to move your car to shop
Lots of great shops, really good eats in the food court, and a movie theatre.
Jc Penney had good buys but they need more help
Not too busy. The people were very nice.
It's definitely a shopping mall. I like the theater but too many people trying to sell you stuff from carts... Very pushy.
Wide range of good stores, food options, and well maintained movie theaters
Very busy around the holidays but still the best mall around in my opinion! The Japanese noodles in the food court are delicious! Macy's is amazing as usual but also has a bunch of awesome holiday special going on!
Only fully indoor mall in Eugene and Springfield. Clean and full of great stores. The food court is well laid out and provides access to great food. The theater is obviously the biggest draw and the main reason I visit. It may not be the nicest theater in town but it's still good quality and there's plenty to do while you're waiting for your movie to start. Definitely a great place to visit and kill an afternoon.
I want to go back to those Good Old Days
It was great!!! Went for church it was amazing
Crowded, overly expensive. Bathrooms are run down and dirty
I don't like malls, I was just getting my glasses fixed. But, very clean & a great variety of stores!
Better mall than the other one located in springfield. Prices can range from ok to over priced depending on the store. Food court is fairly clean and has a fair selection of foods to choose from there. The Game stop in this location is not bad, staff is usually super friendly and helpful. Lot of clothing stores with high priced brands in here. The interior of the mall is both a/c'd and has a nice layout. Lot of great restaurants nearby the mall in the parking lot area too. The cinema in this location is simply a great movie going experience. easy access to this mall location from delta highway and the Beltline high way.
its a mall, im a girl, do the math, hell yea i love this place lol as well as many shops inside filled with so many good and honest people that just warm your heart and make it worth the time to go in, like the candy shop, old manager there saved my life about 2-3 years ago, if not for them i wouldnt have been able to get to hospital in time, or the pretzel shop, the family who owns that are very warming people, happy and take honesty very close to there heart and it makes them wonderful people. i could continue with each shop here but all in all, go in yourself and find out, it is a small home here for everyone to be happy in =)
Valley River Center has a new eyebrow threading place my wife decided to try out. Sarku teriyaki chicken always satisfies. Are things getting more expensive these days? $5 for cinnabon? Dang!
great place to park as nd take the shuttle to Auzten Stadium. very convenient and cheap
I LOVE this place! It has The Elephant's Trunk, Spencer's, AND Hot Topic! Oh, and Panda Express and Jamba Juice! The eyebrow threading place burned my face though.
Always have been and always will be a mallrat until the day I or all of the malls die.
I still consider it a joy to visit the Sweetwater room for my dining pleasure! Be sure to say hi to Victoria she’s a server there, and a fine one!!
Love all the different shop's
Always easy to find what I need.
I enjoyed this mall, it had a good mix of stores. Our city mall is much smaller so it was nice to visit a much bigger mall. I will return again, if I need more of a variety in stores.
Decent mall with a theater and food court. If they got a cold stone ice cream shop and a decent burger joint with chilli cheese fries, I would give them five stars.
Great options and store quality!
Nice to have an INDOOR mall. I dislike having to go outside to visit another store in crummy weather.
Tons of things to do, excellent food and plenty of places to suit all kinds of wants/needs
Only mall in Eugene/Springfield with a food court and centralized eating options. Still has a wide range of shopping options, and more coming soon with new remodels under way. Movie theater on-site has latest movies for your viewing pleasure as well.
Great place to spend money and time with the family
Now the Eugene version of the American Mall in decline. Was at one time when malls were a thing a very nice mall. Many empty storefronts including anchor stores and decreasing population of visitors. The area is in desperate need of refreshing.
It was busy and the stores were great
Variety of different stores, although I miss Sports Authority. Clean environment and great selection of food in the food court.
Breeding ground for criminal activity. My credit card was stolen and used at one of the stores in the mall. Multiple times it was run for gift cards and was denied. The thief kept attempting different values of gift cards until my card went through. Game Stop should have should have checked ID before allowing the purchase. I can’t believe that after three denied attempts someone would continue a sale without checking for ID. This should be a practice ANYTIME a gift card is purchased VIA credit card. Common sense, especially in such a crime infested location. I was on the phone live with my bank as purchases were attempted. I was still in the mall. Not only would the Game Stop employees not cooperate when I called, mall security told me they couldn’t look at footage or do anything. I have no what idea what they are paid for?Terrible security system. The security guards aren’t even a deterrent. Valley River Center has lost my business. It’s a sketchy location.
Nice place to shop. Good variety of shops, not too crowded.
Clean, easy to find, lots of shopping choices. Love the movie theater!
It's a great mall
Nice mall. Customer service at a PLACE there certainly sucks and makes me not want to go back to a certain CHILDREN'S clothing store anytime soon. Mall opens at 10 and is practically a ghost town during the week.
I enjoy going here even if it is just to walk around. There are a variety of stores; upstairs and downstairs, something for everybody. An array of different places to eat in the food court and got to love wetzels pretzels and Jamba Juice.
Stopped by to eat. Food was delicious and hot.
I love valley river center, it has a jewelry store, all kinds of games, and food. Its absolutely awesome here
Need more department stores! Similar to JJill , the good quality ones !!!!
I love Valley River . They have everything Washington Square has. But not as crowded
So nice and well kept! Love the corn hole and giant connect 4. I love to bring my kids here to shop around. I feel very safe here.
Charlies subs in the food court. Good stuff!
Nice little indoor mall. Much better than the silly open air malls here. Only because it rains on the Oregon coast constantly lol. Who da' thunk?
The taco place in the food court was amazing
Ok place to shop good variety!
So. I must say. Had pretty darn good parking lots! Smooth...mostly and so well lined! Was the perfect spot to meet a random person I was meeting from Facebook to exchange $8 for some goods. I thought, "Wow! I feel safe here!" Was just as great exiting as it was entering!"
It's a cool place
Every store is having huge sales AMAZING SAVINGS and just can not get enough
Enjoyed this mall and love the food court
Very good mall. Great place for clothing and a lot more. Bought this suislide
Love the food court. Best collection of great eateries.
Friendly, helpful and kind staff. fast service. All around great place.
Many new items and displayed well.
LIDS.Typical mall. Does it have the shop you need? In this case I needed
It's a Nice Mall. Can get pretty much anything, if you have money. Movie Theater. Influcotion of Dirty Homeless Animals on the bike path.
Nice , it is all inside and easy, unlike Gateway-i quit using that venue because you have to walk between areas outside, and there are no covered walkways! Valley River has kept it correct! Yay! As a disabled person, I have to be extra careful walking in inclement weather, Valley River Center keeps it accessible for people like me- Thank you!
Clean and well laid out. No objections except it can be hard to navigate around if you have a bad sense of direction. Otherwise it's a great mall!
Up scale mall with good food options .
Always have a good time here
Live a good mall
Good mall overall; but we need a couple more cheaper shopping/eating options.
There are making some changes and adding a bowling alley, also with an arcade, there, to make it better for kid's so hopeful they don't get in to trouble, so I say hope it goes well for Valley River Center..
Love shopping here with my daughters
The only thing worth while in this mall is the cricket store and the food court. Everything else is not that impressive. Better than nothing I guess.
Valley River was an awesome place to shop at and the next time I'm in town I will shop there again
Plenty of parking and good restaurants
Small mall , needs more selection of sporting stores .
Valley River has some great stores, and occasionally some less reputable kiosks. New additions to the food court include pho and street tacos. Great foot/bike access on Ruth Bascom Bike Path.
Its nice for such an old mall
Quiet close to closing time over all it's like any other nall
I visited the west end boutique and I absolutely loved and appreciate the friendly staff that were constantly helping me even wig decisions. The clothes here are well priced and fit comfortably. I recommend trying on the clothes just in case though.
Stopped at Rainbow West (Christian bookstore) and bought a Zach Williams CD. Awesome service, great deals! Love my new CD. Thank you!
They're fun play area for kids upstairs my kid loves it
I like the variety of stores. There is a new sports memorabilia store that I love.
Standard mall, outside the mall is the edible arrangements store.
Always able to find something.
Very successful mall in Eugene. Not a run down ghost town like most American malls... all top merchants here w no 2nd rate low rent junk shops.
This mall is pretty big for Eugene, didn't expect that at all. Was pleasantly surprised. They mall itself is very well kept and clean. They have quite a big food court with variety of food choices, such as Panda Express, Subway, and others. They also have a movie theater inside the mall and it looked fantastic. I personally went there to have lunch and buy some chocolate candy, which were quite expensive but very good!
Many great shops, beautiful mall, great food court.
Best mall in n Eugene and many great stores left due to lack in sales
Quiet laid back mall nice people, not very many, large variety of stores
New entry renovation is fun! Great mall in Eugene and right by the river. Always plenty of parking.
Parking lot was being worked on pretty tight trying to park.
Good parking on all sides means you don't have to stay inside it longer than necessary, which is a key factor in any mall
Huge mall, very good for buying clothes. Food choices are limited but I count this as an advantage because all the average chains are also not represented.
Love all the variety
Went to BJ's...it was great
Sadly VRC isnt good place to go.
Went to the mall for my kids to trick or treat. We walked the whole mall for 8 pieces of candy for each kid. Disappointing kids on Halloween earns you a special spot in hell.
Great location.
I really like coming here because the Gateway Mall is absolutely s***. And I hate to put it that way but they have really gone down a harsh spiral they have gotten rid of half of the stuff that used to have and it just seems like an empty huge 5 block radius building. I really love the Valley River Center they have everything I need and I can come in and get something and head right back out I also like the fact that it's really close to where I live.
Lots to do here and plenty of shops and restaurants around to go to. There's even a museum inside on the second floor for the kiddos!
Decent enough mall. Contains a pretty good variety of food and clothing shops. They didn't have a single store that carries umbrellas.
I really did not "go" to VRC per say... I go to JCP just long enough to make payment on my acount... I have go to VRC other times... I guess it okay... Not alot of shop I have interest in... It is big and air condition in summer and heat in winter... VRC is fun to just walk around and look what thing are offer.... Of course like every thing, it more fun to money shop, or window shop with some one than by your self...
Good selection of Stores
Great mall. Suggest everyone go check it out
Great mall to visit before to get new duck gear.
Great shops. Clean
Valley River Center is experiencing a renaissance during a time when many shopping malls around the country are ghost towns. Though the food court does leave a bit to be desired there are many attractions to recommend the mall. Of note is Adventure Children's Museum, a local non profit museum which brings learning and fun together for children of all ages. I tend to avoid the movie theater at this mall due to a lack of recliners, which are available at the Gateway mall movie theater.
Good looking white mamas all round, if you are a good looking man like moí. You will attract alot of attention
