As you know, we don't usually bother to set tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
I hate now they changed the layout of this place. Even though they have better stores I dont come here as often because you can't escape the elements outside anymore while walking.
It's alright nothing like how it use to be tho.
All outdoor strip mall!!!
Good place to walk around with your children
The shop's around the mall are great there is a big 5 a Target a Walmart a Hobby Lobby Ross dress for less Menchies Firehouse subs Game stop the worst sporting good store that i have ever been to Cabelas and more all are great with the exception of Cabelas they are very rude and unknowledgeable about what they carry the Cinemark 17 is awesome clean comfortable and affordable i highly recommend taking your family or your date or just a friend this is a great place
It used to be such a cool mall untill they tore it apart. There used to be an awesome cheap theater and good Mall food, it would've been a 5 star. Now it's a just a regular old shopping center with regular movie theater.
I loved this Mall! Lots of nice stores and restaurants, clean, lots of children activities.
Don't remember why we went. We were on vacation.
Hate what they did to the mall. You use to be able to do laps inside, rather then out in the rain, don't go here unless it's hobby lobby. It's not a mall anymore!
I always find good deals and the habe homtown buffet
Great brand they selling last
A nice outdoor store, but very much over priced.
Great place to go shopping if you liked being followed from isle to isle . I think next time I'll have them hold my merchandise I'm going to purchase....might as well since they like to tail their clientele:)
Convenient shopping at many stores all within a close location
Delicious food, like every time I visit. And the personal challenge I set for myself to see how much food I can stack is thrilling.
It’s better than gateway mall, but spelling “shoppes” like that is a bit pretentious no? Great for tweaker watching.
Clean and a little hard to find a bathroom but overall good place.
The place is huge the only con is that the parking gets fully really easy and u have to find parking on street. But is looks brand new clean restroom has elevator and security personel.
I like that you can park in front of the store or restaurant that you want to go to and not have to walk the entire mall to get to a store.
First off got to say this place used to be my favorite Mall but sadly all of the good things about this place went away the dollar fifty movie theater all the shops and everything got replaced with just kind of an outlet mall personally when I go to a mall I want to walk around the inside of a mall that's it to me what a mall is it's just another section of town now with a bunch of shops
Great customer service
The only place to watch a movie.
I miss how it used to before they took out all the shops and reconstructed it. It used to be a mall, that I enjoyed going to with my friends and family. Now I only go there to see a movie. Hobby lobby is a fun store they added, but otherwise I miss the mall setting.
Stuff for all Good
The Shoppes at Gateway For Christmas,Ross Dress For Less,Rack Room Shoes,Marshalls,GameStop,Cabela'sKohl's,Noodles and Company,Menchie's Frozen Yogurt,Cinemark 17
Wish there were better covers for rainy days. Shops are great, but not built for Oregon weather.
Shop here when going to Cabela's.
Who designed this place? Traffic nightmare
Great jewelry store and highest quality staff.
Plenty of stores to visit. You can easily spend the afternoon here.
I like the stores, I just wish you could stay inside and get to all the stores like it used to be. We live in Oregon where it's cold and rainy 9 months out of the year.
For my first time here I gave it 4 stars as there was plenty to do and see while here. It's not a traditional mall where you can walk inside and look around. More like a series of store strung together. So of the local people were telling us that the mall had changed and it was much better before. I liked what I saw and would come back again
Thanks to your great heart, Dickies
Not really a fan of having to walk outdoors at a mall... that somewhat defeats the purpose. Not generally the mix of stores I'm looking for and primarily just go there for the movie theater. There is plenty of parking, including accessible spaces and accessible entries. There are lots of food options, but all of them are high calorie and lower quality and I would avoid them.
I miss when the mall had an inside you can explore.
I actually went to the theater. The movie was great, and I love the recliners!
nice place to go. cool temperature and good food around. half closed but that just makes it better
This mall has changed a lot since the 90's and 2000's. It's become a strip mall, but all of the popular shops are still here. No arcade, though. Bummer. Either way, this is still a good place to go for shopping for various items.
They should have a place specificslly for lounging. Say like your wsiting for a movie. Lol
A great collection of stores and an outlet mall feel after the remodel. Parking is ample yet the lot needs repair and doesn't accommodate big vehicles easily. Be prepared to do some walking.
Targer,.Walmart neighborhood market, Petco, ulta, kohl's, coffee, Marshall's and Ross. food and big 5 store and hobby lobby! Movie theater, Pretty good selections of stores. Lots of places to shop. It's been updated recently and looks more inviting. Traffic is very congested in this area. More so on the weekends but still pretty backed up most of the time.
The Shoppes at Gateway are great! Lots of variety, good prices and usually good customer service. Plenty of restrooms that are all handicapped available. Huge parking lot with handicapped parking. Easy to find and see from road. During warm months they have outdoor ferris wheels, kiddie racing cars, etc in the parking lot. Please click the <<<
The smell! In blasted you as you entered store. Supposed to be inviting? Ugh. Will not go in there unless I absolutely have too.
Nice to have what you need all in one place
Easy access and plenty of parking. Shops were clean and well staffed. Even the bathrooms were easy to access in a wheelchair.
Fun day shopping, lots of great stores and fun places to eat in the area!
You can find wonderful places to eat. Yummy
This shopping mall has it all. From Cabela's to fast food, Target, to retail shops right off I-5. Lots of traffic. To be expected with this type of shopping facility. But plenty of parking & Easy in and out Access
Hard to navigate now mall is not open like it use to be more like Woodburn outlet I rarely go there except for movies
Has great stores and restaurants. Has everything I'm usually looking for. The movie theatre here has reclining seats.
Cabelas is an interesting place!
Nice Area for shipping
Love the movie theater!
I went to Target to get a refill for my ink pen, the isle was being reset and only had a few pkgs of felt pens on the pegs. I asked the woman who was resetting the isle if this is where I would find pen refills, her answer floored me she said in a snotty attitude: "We carry pens, not refills but you can find them online at Amazon". So I guess my takeaway from this is, now I know why retail stores are going out of business at an alarming rate. I suggest Target train their employees on GOOD Customer Service techniques and how to respond to customers in a positive manner. It might also help them stay in business longer if their rude associates didn't suggest shopping online at Amazon. Our household is a Amazon Prime Member, if I wanted to find it online, I would have, and it would've, no doubt, been cheaper an far more positive. In the future, I will not be returning to Target for anything.
I ran into Rossman it was easy in an easy out didn't have to park way out in the parking lot and it was a good day!
This outdoor store Carrie's good quality sportswear for the hunter and the adventurous soul.
I am not a fan of any mall and this one has windy roads but it is not too far to the car park when one does not recall which door one entered into. Kolher's returns Amazon dot com rejects 11 hours a day & does very efficient very friendly job easy parking.
Love Ross and hometown buffet with my two bff's. But 2 very nice mall security guys are the very best. I am mobility disabled and can't walk far. At hometown i called and asked to rent a wheelchair and how much...leave ID for deposit and free. Asked where to get it and he hand delivered to my table...i was shocked and grateful!! Guy i returned it too, seemed very rude and put out to come get it. Next time we called from car in disabled spot, and clancey brought it to me at car.. wow!! When leaving my friend was hurting and it was hard for her to push me. Called clancey to meet at car...he saw her trying to push, and came took me and chair away from her and took me to my car. So, 2 to out of 3 guys, 2 were gentleman and amazing Customer service. Other guy, he needs to find a job without public contact. Sorry dude...you sucked. Kudos to Other guys.
Went to Cabela's got new boots that were on sale for work. Nice ones
Its great for modelers like me cause of hobbie lobby
Easy access from I-5, and a nice variety of shops
Lot of different shops to choose from and the appearance is clean and open.
Izzz alright. I miss the mall.
Fun place to hangout
I go in get my stuff and get out fast with friendly costumer serves from the employees the are fast friendly and they know how to treat people and that is important to me
The only store worthwhile in the mall is cabelas. They have a nice gym inside but very few stores.
Great stores. I still miss the enclosed mall that once was there.
Great food court, shops - shoes, clothes, etc
I like Cabela's. That's where I went and I appreciate the wide variety of outdoor gear they sell.
Liked it better when you could access all stores from INSIDE.
Food court is excellent with a wide variety of local and international plates.
Very sleek design. The way they positioned the stores are pleasant to the eyes. Plenty of parking.
We had a wonderful experience with mall security! They helped us find a place to spend the night in our RV. Thank you very much!
The location has a nice selection of places to shop or dine. Plenty of parking is available.
Pretty good place to shop
Theyre really fun. Best movie Theater ive ever been to
Gatway is the soul of portland
I Enjoy Many Places In This Mall.
Small mall, not much there. What is there is decent. Not a good place to stroll and window shop.
My T-Mobile store is there.!! I left my T-Mobile I would recommend it to anyone who has to have at least two lines they have great T-Mobile Tuesday stuff like every Tuesday there's free taco or a drink at Taco Bell! sometimes there's T-Mobile stuff like BBQ two in one type of a burger flipper with a can opener on the end. ❗❗
I love the new remodel, but at the same time I miss the old food court. Great selection of stores and it’s definitely cleaner than it used to be.
Cabela's was well stocked and maintained.
Mall? Not so much. It used to be a mall. Now it is nothing but an unconnected collection of stores. You can't get to the "mall" from the stores, and you can't walk from one end to the other inside. No wonder there was almost nobody there. Not a quality remodel. This is terrible.
It's different for sure. I remember when the mall was bigger. The changes are good.
My wife and I shop here often right off the I-5 freeway very convenient there's pet stores clothing Food liquor stores restaurants and even a hotel if need be. Sometimes getting in and out can be a little difficult but it is convenient for us to shop here and we will continue to do so.
Ridiculous idea of converting it to a open air mall. On the Oregon coast it rains 80 percent of the time lol. It shows too, most the stores have left. It's half empty now. The other mall in town is much better. And indoor.
No fun since they took inside mall away and made all outside shops. Makes no sense in rainy season.
Don't like the set up. Liked the old way where you could walk inside and pop in and out of stores. Don't go there anymore except a rare trip to the pet store, Target and Ulta.
Alot of great stores in one place, plus food, drinks & you can even get your vision services & dental work all in same place!
Lots of varieties of stores. Clothes, shoes, makeup, movie theater. Food galore!
Fun to let ur kids play inside on the cushioned slide and tunnel
It was better when the cheap theater was there.
Nice place much different than it was before now it's like an outlet mall
I went with a friend to Kohl's but we didn't go to any of the other businesses. Quiet place that Kohl's. A wee bit high priced(way too high)for my taste. Some of the clearance items were marked down pretty low though. I bought a pair of jeans that were marked down by 60% but personally they were still too spendy even for Levi's. Friendly and helpful staff. The cashier showed my friend how to get a bigger discount on the items she purchased.
Very clean and good selection of stores
Really extremely disappointed with how the mall is now used to be extremely better loved it before but now it's garbage I hate it they shouldn't have made it into a outlet mall If they would have just kept it the same way and just remodeled it would be better {frowny face}
It's not A Mall anymore. I went there today, looking for sneakers, and it was all closed down inside. It felt like Fear of the Walking Dead, all quiet. What a joke, and it went all downhill from 10 years ago, and is now a ghetto joke to me. With the stupid Aspen Dental there. Well, not that anyone told me, i had to find out the hard way, it's all outside, except for a few stores, and the movie theater is still there.
Amazing display of taxidermy and great supply of camping equipment and clothing.
Lots of choices for every taste. Found the ear piercing kiosk and promptly pierced my ears with the third set of earrings. Wonderful lady running it. License and all.
great place need more mobility carts
Since the remodel this place has come alive. Great place to eat and shop. Lots of options for both. This place is busy so dont be in a hurry. Has tons of parking so you wont have an issue finding a spot.
I love the new open concept. Nice place to walk around.
Wrong type of mall design for the weather we have here.
I don't know who the genius was that approved a inside Mall being turn into a strip mall in Oregon but I think it was a very poor choice.
Gateway mall was a nice mall. Now, its divided up into like blocks....its weird, and dont understand why they did this. Its ODD!
I miss the old enclosed mall. If it weren't for having the best theater in Lane County, and Hometown Buffet, I wouldn't go to Gateway Mall any more. Truly TERRIBLE handicap accessibility to ALL businesses. But I do like the movie theater a LOT! Only wish the theater had an Accessible box office/entrance closer to the handicap parking.
Very nice and updated..more outdoor strip mall than indoor now. Lots of new stores...
Went to Hometown Buffet there. Good food.
Separated mall so you sometimes need to walk outside and around then back inside. Used to be like other malls.
Saw a movie with a friend. I like Cinemark more than Regal nowadays. As usual i ate too much popcorn and wanted to die. Also like always, the photos of the popcorn keep piping up on my phone, making me want to eat too much again. I go to school with a girl that works here. 10/10 will see Avengers, Spider-Man, and Star Wars here this year.
Kind of a weird hodge-podge of stores, I kind of feel like I should give it a 3 but I have sort of a soft-spot for it. I don't even really know why, maybe just nostalgia, because there are not a lot of store I like shopping at here and the mostly-outdoor partially-indoor shopping-center not-a-mall things drives me nuts, like, just be a mall or don't! Yet, I still go here more than the actual mall in town... and frankly like it better despite fewer options. I don't know, not everything makes sense, but it gets four stars from me.
The Only BTC\Altcoin atm in Eugene or Springfield. Next closest is +40 miles away. You need to be willing to create an account in their system, have valid id, AND bring Your deposit q-code (wallet deposit address)
The mall is so nice now compared to what it was years ago.
Like it way better before they made it so you couldnt walk from one end to the other
The stores were cool, but you gotta leave the building and walk around it to get to visit most the stores you want to go to.
Disappointing to say the least. Looks like a mall but nothing inside but a handful of shops.
Big mall that is good for mall walking.
I love that I can go to Hobby Lobby, Ulta, Target and so many other places in one trip! The movie theater is great and there’s food choices nearby! Parking can be a little confusing because it’s cramped and some lanes have obstructed views.
There is barely anything to do valley River center is better
Shopping with daughter nice place to shop
Awesome mostly outside
Malls are going extinct for a reason.
Lots of nice stores, but I miss the indoor mall. Why they changed the bldg in rainy Springfield is nuts. Just to get a few more retail space. I used to go walk that mall several times a week, which meant a shopped there lots more. Talk about cutting your nose off despite your face!
This place is packed with awesome stores and a movie theater. Great place to go to catch a movie or just to find out what the stores have in stock.
Nice place to shop. Especially like Target and Hobby Lobby.
The way this place is set up is so dang confusing. They should tear it all down & start from scratch. They keep trying to cover an amputation with a band-aid & it isn't working. Tons of vacant store fronts make it kind of depressing to shop here.
Great bargins for your cats but mostly dogs would try to stay away from the left side of the parking lot for there are things that roam the lot you should avoid. Don't make direct eye contact with them if you see them they will appear to be looking for change but once they see your eyes they start asking for everything and then some. Eggs were good but the bread was a bit moldy and smelt like old feet but the cat litter they spread throughout the freezers prevents any dead smells from escaping. Dog eat dog out there
The only place that has a Cabelas closest to southern Oregon.
Went to see a movie, then enjoyed some time walking around. It was fun.
SUX! Why do people need to have popular brand clothes? What ever happened to LEVI.
It’s a mall. An outdoor mall, you can’t escape the weather. The shops are nice, has a good variety of stores and places to eat. Parking is ok.
Has good stores like target and ross and an amazing gym if you enjoy working out
Like a candy store for sports enthusiasts! A little spendy tho but amazing place
Nice that it's called Shops. Confusion reigns with mini-malls and buffet restaurants. I guess they gave up trying to compete with VRC
Clean and a huge upgraded from how it used to be outside but inside is completely different. VERY dead place. Best shops are all out front. Nothing really inside an very dirty and run down. Terrible play center for little kids. Not a place I would go out of my way to shop at.
Looks like you can find it all! From cute antiques at Indulge a along with a yummy menu. You can get your hair done, your nails, your brows, you can even sit in a massage chair and get a relaxing massage before or after shopping.
Way more stores to choose from; than just a couple years ago, I was truly impressed & even a bit overwhelmed... in a good way, of course.
Everything great except the price. But quality ain't cheap.
It is nice to walk outside and duck in a shop and not be Confined to inside mall
Oh my gosh why on earth would the developer's go from a lively indoor mall to individual shops when you cannot get out of the weather. Especially in the Willamette Valley. The parking is ridiculous with no consideration for people with disabilities. There is handicap parking but the distance from shops is poor planning. Give them 20 years and they will think Malls are new and a good idea. I'll choose to shop elsewhere.
I don't really care for the Gateway Center mall they have lost a lot of the shops that they used to have and the only thing that's good here anymore is the movie theater and the smell of popcorn outside of the movie theater. I feel like Kohl's is just an upscale Target and they're a little bit spendy there's also other stores around here that are just as well. If you are looking for restaurants the Gateway Center mall is the perfect place because they are absolutely surrounded by any type of food that you can think of but if you're looking for a shopping center do not come here because you are not going to find what you're looking for unless you're specifically looking for Kohl's PetSmart and Walmart
Many stores are closing out but the ones left are mostly clothing. There is a nice selection of candy shops to fit anyone's sweet tooth.
Has most of my favorite shops all in one place!
I just get depressed every time I come here. Oregon is not the place for a strip mall. This mall used to be the greatest mall to come to back when it was indoor and flowing with tons of stores, the food court, Chuck E Cheese, Tilt, and the discount theater. The best thing here is the Cabela's and the movie theater, which is still exactly how it used to be (other than the much pleasant upgrade to the luxury lounge chairs). I go to Valley River Mall when I want a pleasant mall shopping experience. All in all the only time I ever come here is to watch a movie at the theater, or to run in to Cabela's. Just very disappointed with what happened to this place. They shouldn't have tried to build it "bigger and better". Should've been left alone with from the beginning.
Nice variety of shops. Convenient
I really like this outdoor/indoor mall. It's small but big at the same time. I always enjoy going here.
I shop at Ulta beauty regularly. Products are amazing and I love the staff.
This is a solid shopping center, although it’s quite spread out so it can take a little while to get used to navigating it. The Cabelas here is superb, and has the best selection of firearms you will find outside of a major gun show. Prices are also surprisingly fair, ranging from entry level equipment to some of the best (and most expensive) in the business.
