This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
This mall has everything I need. From Spencer's to Aunt Annie's pretzles. Makes me so happy to have so many great retail brands in one convenient location. There is even a train that drives inside the mall. Inside! A train! There aren't even tracks...this train can go where it wants. Amazing!
I love great lakes mall very clean and respectful will go again.
Great place with many choices for shopping or food.
I wish they had more of a variety of stores, but overall pretty cool.
One of the last great malls in NE Ohio!
Macy's has some sweet deals that can be found. Lots of parking.
Nice little mall. Went to Busy Bee's to do art. Visiting my sister.
Love this place they got everything I ever need
This mall needs a major modern facelift. They also need to stop allowing those Knick knack stores or designate a flea market section of the mall for it. Additionally, kiosks where the people aren’t screaming at you to look at their shoe cleaners or bath tub fitters from across the mall would also be nice. Removing the train which only adds to congestion would be a smart move too.
Super impressed with all the activities for kids. The train ride though thr mall should br 2 bucks a ride and not 4. Other than that loves it
Love this mall it's awesome it has everything
First time there and i gotta say i loved it. Very big. Lots of stores.
Great atmosphere and pleasant customer service.
Best place in mentor to go to eat, drink, buy clothes, and go bowling!
I went to Round One and it was awesome. I didn't visit the rest of the mall but from the portion of it I saw, it was nice inside. Round one was amazing. It had an arcade and bowling and even karaoke. Very nice and I recommend you visit if your there
Has a lot of cool stores for all types and ages. And good food court. Normally fairly busy, just make sure not to make eye contact with kiosk workers or you may have an awkward exchange in my opinion at least.
The mall is always clean and it's my favorite mall to go to!
As malls go this place is nice, spacious and clean, not many empty stores.
Good Food Court I miss Maurices and Sears!
Visionworks service was on point love my selection
Went to Kays jewelry store to have rings checked. Staff is nice. The mall has changed and has a lot of small family owned brick n mortar stores. Which is great. Clean and plenty of food choices.
It's a great mall. Good variety of food choices and stores. Community centered events on weekends. Plenty of visible security officers. Gloria Jean's coffee near the food court is fantastic.
I go to this mall frequently. It’s not that large but the quality of stores is great. Nice selection. Major department stores such as Macy’s and jc penny’s. Nice food court
Never should have removed the water fountains. For you younger folks they used to have long water fountains down the center length of the mall with neat jets of water rhythmically streaming about. Now it's carpet.
The food is good but my feet hurt after from walking
Always enjoy the atmosphere of all Malls
This is what a great mall is suppose to look like.
Very decent mall. Has a little bit of everything. Need a few realistic women's store.
Nice for shopping...jcp and Macy's make it easy.
Big and so many options. Clean & Great stores. So many choices and things to do. Great food court. Fun for everyone!
Nice to shop and very easy access for me.( distance wise)
Very nice, with friendly sales people and well stocked stores.
Just shopped at Kay's robin who works there is the best. She loves her job is such. Caring person makes sure everything is just perfect
I love to go here and do all of my window shopping! They are service dog friendly and the security guards are very knowledgeable about the laws surrounding it. I have a few must-visit stores when I go, but I always love checking out new stores and browsing around to see what I like!
Honestly I like the food court most in this mall. Reasons why I give it 4 stars is for the customer service and people people unsatisfactory. But with both the amount of selection, retail/food ,it's location and sales I appreciate this place being around!
Where I live Mentor is the closest mall to me and they have plenty of stores that I frequent and a decent food court.
Great place to go for any of your shopping needs!! I've been here plenty of times with friends and family. There is a large food court and plenty of shops to peruse through. Round 1 arcade included as well!
Wide variety of stores and nicely set up. Clean and accessible.
"Wonderful Experience!! Customer Service Reps Proved Very Helpful!!" Thank You
A lively mall. Nice feeling. Good store variety. Food court is good.
Nice mall, and good food court. Not a huge selection of stores, but a lot. It a pretty nice place for a local mall.
I am at the great lakes mall about 3 times a week. The people are friendly. I love that it is a family friendly mall! You see hands on parents with their children. You don't see kids being dropped of just to run around by themselves. They have play areas for the parents to take their children to. They have seniors walking the mall and sitting and talking to others. You can meet a lot of friendly people there. I love it! In the world today this is what we need. To much bad going on in the world. Here at GLM it is safe and friendly. Food court is excellent. A lot of choices to make in dinning.
It's seen better days, but still better than other malls in the area.
Overall this is a great place for locals and others alike. Great diversity of stores and shoppers. Plenty to see and shop at. My nail salon is located within this mall. As well as a handful of stores that are no where else nearby. The hours are reasonable for shopping patrons however, in My opinion the opening hours could be earlier during the week and weekend.
Not a big fan of mall shopping, but Great Lakes Mall is easy to get around and has a variety of stores.
Don't bother parking by the foods court main entrance, Sears is empty with a side entrance. Perfect parking every time.
One of the few internal malls left in Northeast Ohio. It is a very nice mall too. Very nice place to shop and dine. Being located in Lake County the taxes are Cheaper on retail than that of Cuyahoga County. That’s a small perk for shopping at this mall that has much to offer. It is a nice size location for the mall walkers and there is a decent food court too. It is well kept up and I have been shopping here for years and I bring my family here too!
Very nice as malls go.
This mall was once a place that people loved to visit on the weekend and hangout there but now it's kind of an empty shell of a mall that's being kept alive by the movie theater and JCPenney.
A decent community mall with a solid range of shops to suit all ages and interests. I always stop by round 1, game stop, and the comic store!
Good mall, great stores. Always clean and safe.
Organized and fun, as a mall should be. A great selection of places to choose from and the ones I have been to are all above average in quality.
If you can get past the smell of teenagers and their noise you may just find something your looking for.
It has various types of stores, brands. Really liked this mall. Well maintained and organized. Also this mall have playing zone. So kid’s will be very happy to be there for sure. Highly recommended..
Nice orderly mall. However it is losing stores Dillards is still great. JC Penney is beginning to look like a junk pile in some areas. Still worth the trip
Excellent atmosphere found the perfect pair of shoes at the shoe department for the event I had coming up
It's like every other shopping mall in America. Stores are closing left and right. However, it's a great place to get some walking in for the day.
Great place to do your shopping. I love going to the Mentor mall. They have all my favorite stores such as H&M, PacSun (which always has deals), American Eagle, some really good shoe stores and a food court that has a lot of options and it’s good food. You can find better deals here than the thrift store sometimes. Really nice and clean place. Usually always packed but so big it’s hard to tell
I remember coming here when I was younger and shopping all my favorite stores with friends. Now, those stores are long gone. Like many malls around the country, there are a lot of empty store fronts and a lack of reason to really go. The big anchor stores like Macy's, JCPENNEY, and Dillard's are still there, but that about it. On a positive, Great Lakes Mall is clean and has some decent quick bites in the food court. Other than that, it's a hodgepodge of random stores you don't really need or want.
Very clean. All the stores are great
It's a mall. Still your basic stores, but a far cry from its former pre-Amazon days.
Nice central location and decent choice stores
Went here for the atlas movie theater, highly recommended it (PSA, sit in the front 2 rows, they recline)
I really like the environment and the differents stores. There is various play areas for the kids and adults.
The mall is always fun
Just the right size to walk around and get whatever you want.
I really like this mall! It seems to have everything and it looks very well maintained. While other malls seem to be going by the wayside, this mall seems to be full of life. I came here looking for two things and walked out with 5.
Lunch at Tony sacco's was excellent.
The regional shopping mall. It still has department stores and probably over 70 individual retailers. There are a few restaurants in outlying buildings
Brand new (2019) Outback restaurant. Good attentive service.
Great and professional as always.
Great place for all your shopping needs. Plenty if show stores, high-end clothiers, and JC Penney.
Something different in here every time i visit
The Great Lakes Mall is a nice small course it's like most malls in America a lot of stores are gone but the ones that are they are nice stores
This is a great mall with lots to do and a variety of stores. I do wish there were more bathrooms in more locations in the mall. Also security obviously hate their job and dont care about anything as they are never too enthused to help with anything much.
Average mall. Most shops are occupied and there is always activity. Good food selection as well. The place is always clean and well managed.
One of the best malls in NE Ohio!
The Best Mall in Lake County Ohio
Good shopping mall but not the best in ohio
Great Mall to visit go check it out for yourself
Great place to shop or just to walk around
We love going here. Great mall for children and families as a whole. Train ride is fun. Kids play area is great! Also a lot of attractions for adults too and shopping for everyone.
The Mall is Always neat and eye catching with advertisements! Not sure for most...but the advertisement is the money maker when it draws customers in...I give it a 5
I have been shopping at this mall for 50 + years. Love all the stores that have been added at the entrance to the mall. Good experience.
The food is great! It cost a little less during dinner than the last place I reviewed in Beechwood which has the same menu. During lunch time the prices are about half the cost. They also have a sushi bar.
Always clean and bright. It's a lovely mall if you're not fond of crowds (I'm not fond of crowds.). It has all the major stores you need along with some trendy, eclectic ones, too.
Great experience everytime I shop here.
Me and my mom when't to the Macy's that was in this mall. We asked one lady if she could hold just a few things at her counter and she was super rude. She actually started walking away while my mom was still talking to her. We ended up having a much nicer person hold our thing at a different register. Also this was probably the dirtiest Macy's I have ever been in.
They continue to update this fir the better, glad to have it local to Mentor!
Great place for friends and family to hang out. It's constantly renovating and staying modern.
A lot of different things to do and places to go. We enjoy walking around and browsing and different items. We also enjoy going to Round 1.
Always come here for morning mall walks. It's a great place to find a unique gift or get some good food. Chick-fil-A and Dairy Queen is a major plus.
Lots of great stores to choose from. Great food court many options.
I love the little mini train that goes around the mall but not a lot of shoe stores and the ones that are there are very expensive
Alot of stores are leaving or turning into outlets. It does have a few fun places for entertaining.
We have always loved this mall. It's a very nice community orientated place to spend some time. Lots of places to shop, as well as places to eat. One of the nicest , diverse food courts around. You can even go there just to walk. The people work hard keeping this place neat, and clean! Fun for all ages especially families.
Not what it used to be. They (as other stores in this area) needed to find a way to keep the riff raff out.
Very accessible everywhere. Clean and good selection. Not a huge mall.
Very nice clean food court all different kinds of food to eat nice smile with a lot of different varieties of stores l go there at least once a week and buy something
Always clean, great stores, easy to navigate
Awesome mall. Surprised its not a dead mall like Euclid square mall. Malls are a dying breed. I used to go to this mall all the time back in the 90s and 2000s when I was a teenager. I remember the huge Camelot music store and Gadzooks with wacky tshirts with funny sayings on them like "I Speared Britney!" I also remember stealing a Cannibal Corpse CD from Camelot and buying outrageous nu metal pants with zippers and chains hanging off them from Hot Topic. I thought I was a badass.
A real nice place to shop.
Great mall! Great play area for kids too.
Great place to hang out with friends, especially the arcade
Love the mall been going there for a long time now. Not happy that the stores are closing. I don't go as much as I use to because I moved further away. But it still has a lot to offer. Which makes it worth the trip.
Halle is a good friend what
Clean, nice, awesome ride on animals ( they drive them around the mall) for the kids.
Big building that is run down. Not a lot of stores and often times more than not it doesn't have very many people. Would strongly recommend Beachwood mall if you can endure the traffic getting there.
