I mostly visit here if the weather is bad and I need a place for my little boy to run off some energy. They’ve got a little play area near Macy’s on the first floor. There are also the the little cars that you can ride for a few quarters, gumball machines and vending. This mall actually has some decent stores. But for the most part I’m not a fan because it just feel gloomy and run down to me.

One of the more popular dying malls around. Actually has stores worth going to though but you can see the population dwindling. Clean with lots of stores and the food court is good. Definetly not packed with people which is a good thing but that means sales reps in the stores are super pushy about sales and buying things. Yay capitalism. Mostly filled with middle age moms who think theyre still hip and annoying teenagers. Its clean and theres lots of options, that's it though.

I like this mall a lot. The location is good, the parking is plenty with lots of ways into the mall proper and they've added a lot of out building shops in recent years to keep it relevant and fresh. Some malls are failing right now and while Dayton Mall did lose two anchor stores in quick succession (still sad about Elder-Beerman's and Sears), it is still very healthy with lots of customers and few closed smaller shops. It's clean, has a decent food court on the second floor and it is easy to find your way around.

I didnt have the best time here because there's only one restroom throughout the whole mall and it was raining outside which there isn't access to all the stores without having to go outside plus it was like 6:30pm and alot of the stores where closed already.

the mall is great, there are more stores now than the last time we visited. Stores like hollister have an awesome customer service, except for Dick's, I dont want to sound rude but my husband had an awful experience there (btw we are asian). It is sad when some people cannot accept other nationalities and when they see one, they dont treat them right (the sales agent is a white dude by the mens section). but over all we like the mall and we will come back and shop there again.

Hot topic ruined the experience by pushing deals on me multiple times and I had sit there and repeat myself, and then when I explained I just want the swimming trunks, they still kept pushing their deals on me. "Aaaww really, you sure tanktops are just $5 more and with your birthday discount you can get something free, or make your purchase $5 cheaper." Like shut up I just want what I came here for so I can leave

Perfect huge mall. Rating really depends on each individual store. They clean very well and there's plenty of events that occur here. GameStop, Body Jewel, Hot Topic, and Champs is amazing! Have fun!

It's a dying mall. There's a few decent stores to check out but the best stop is the fruit smootie place on the first floor and the food court on the second. You can't go wrong with a smoothie and some cinnamon rolls.

Even though the mall era has all but past, Dayton Mall still has a lot to offer. Some really nice boutique shops with distinctive merchandise along with the remaining anchor stores of Macy's & JC Penneys. Met some new vendors today & plan on coming back to do business with them. Good place to shop.

Is the Dayton Mall what it used to be? No. The arcade is gone, the fountains are gone, some stores have gone. But even still I love the Mall and do not want to see it die! It's not as crowded anymore eccept during Christmas. But there are great places to go for anything from food to coffee to getting a piercing to clothes/jewelry. Check out Steak Escape for great food- they don't get the business they deserve! Saxbys has the best coffee. Lane Bryant is the best place to go for bras, sports bras, even bra fittings. Etc!

The Dayton mall used to be a vibrant place to shop. Through no fault of their own they have lost 2 anchor stores. With that said the place is dirty and the landscaping is awful. Parking lot is in horrible shape and the bathrooms and beyond nasty.

Dayton Mall struggles as other areas of Greater Dayton provide fresher retail experiences. They had just lost an anchor store. People.have a history of shopping here in premier days. The location still draws strongly from the Southern most reaches of Dayton.

I am really not sure which store I went to in the Dayton Mall several months ago go there for lots of Denver to reasons and lots of different stores and pretty to find a parking spot and depending on what you want there's plenty of stores there it's a good place to go I recommend it

This is a shopping center that was awesome some time ago, but seems to be losing its anchor stores...the parking lot is expansive, but one wonders whether it is excessive (one recognizes the Christmas season to be a peak season to consider). While there is a newish area, probably makes sense to renovate the rest of it...

Feels at times like it is dying... main center is a lively part of the mall... but then again, usually that is how it is with most malls these days. Has a very nice and super well organized Hot Topic compared to 1 hour drive from this mall.

I rarely frequent the mall unlike when I was in high school, but even though the outside shops they've added in the past few years, the inside is not in great shape. I can't tell you what it is exactly. Maybe my bar is set too high now thinking it should look as it did twenty years ago, but nothing draws me in except a random visit as I'm passing. They will have to do something drastic with the place so it doesn't faceplant. Or maybe they are like the professional sports team that looks terrible while raking in money.

Growing up, the Dayton Mall had a great variety of stores and events. I lived in Eaton and would drive 45 minutes just to hang out and shop there. Over the last 5 years, it seems like a lot of the stores have left and nothing really filled those spots except tshirt shops and cheap jewelry stores. I currently live within 5 miles of the mall but would prefer to drive 20 minutes to Liberty Town Center or the Greene than go to the Dayton Mall.

I really like this mall for two reasons. It is convenient to where I live and it is a great place to walk for exercise during the cold months. The mall has a great selection of stores and they often have special events or displays. It is a very nice place to walk or shop or both as I sometimes do!

The Dayton Mall is nearly always clean, bright and attractive. It's sad how many stores are gone and the new ones aren't always the quality of the ones they're replacing. But if you like to walk indoors (which is why we were there today) or comparison shop without driving miles between stores, indoor malls are ideal. I nearly always enjoy going there.

I always enjoy going to the Dayton Mall.Its a very nice atmosphere and its selection of retail stores and food vendors is excellent.I had my watch strap repaired at one of the booths in center of the mall.Was quite pleased with the service. We purchased ice cream at small vendors station and it was fresh and quite tastee. The atmosphere was great and the customers were also friendly. I will anticipate my return to the Dayton Mall because it is a shopping experience.

Compared to "The Greene" and Austin Landing, the Dayton Mall is definitely yesterday's news. I go here mainly for Hot Topic and Spencer's but other than that I'd much rather go elsewhere.

Parking was OK. I'm still disappointed Elder Bearman went out of business. Glad to see other shops and department stores still thriving inside the mall though. Lots of traffic in the mall. Neat and tidy. It's also posted that Teens 16 and under are not permitted after 4p on weekends without an adult.

This mall is like alot of malls--losing tenants! Old Navy...gone. Elder Beerman...gone. Sears...gone. Payless Shoes...gone. The latter three are gone due to company bankruptcy but I don't know why Old Navy left. The atmosphere is crowded on Saturdays and at the end of the year; other than that not as much foot traffic as in the past. There are lots of stores and restaurants that are located outside of the mall at The Village at Dayton Mall.

My wallet got stolen and they could not help me. Told me first that they had a theft that was more important than helping me. After this I stayed in the mall walking up and down in shock that it was stolen. Went back was talking to assocites myself then office members told me lady would get back to me they have another theft. After viewing the camera told me that their camera rotate and missed me and the person who stole my wallet

I typically only go to few places here,but the mall itself is nice. Crew is out changing trash. Sweeping. Wet floor signs were out. Lots of stores to choose from really. There is something there for just about anyone.

This place is not what it used to be. Shopping isn't what it used to be. Big department stores, all the shops, all the hustle and bustle.. But the Dayton Mall is still there. I wish more stores would move in. Online shopping has killed malls. I still support the mall. I used to spend my weekends at the mall, do kids do that anymore? :)

I love the stores here and that I can come at almost any time without trouble parking. A few people have said they don't like coming here at night in fear of their safety. I have not felt that way when I've come. However, that would probably be less of an issue if they had all the lights actually working and on at the entrances. The back entrance lights have not been fixed or functioning for more than and needs to be addressed especially if it will make people feel safe. Be sure to check hours of your stores and the locations as several stores have external entrances while some are only accessable from inside the mall (i.e. old navy)

Great variety of stores. They have a lot of shops and vendors not found in other parts of the area, and even currently, kids attractions and exotic dessert stands. It's secure and open and seems to be a fun place with good management.

A lot of stores have left, but the mall seems to be filling the spaces again with new tenants. The exterior of this center is rather rough and the interior is somewhat dated but it appears that people still come to shop. It would be nice to see the two empty anchor stores filled again.

I feel that the store fronts are all so similar that it's hard to find my way around the mall anymore. I'd love a variety of stores, places that sell something other than designer clothes or expensive trinkets. I find myself avoiding the shops to simply browse the food court, which has stayed nice for a long time despite changing venues.
