I am white, female and I am over 30. I have been married for nearly a dozen years. Today I was stopped and asked for ID by a mall cop who looked to be maybe 17 himself. He literally "ma'am"ed me then asked for ID(ma'am is basically an insult in the North). My parents were shopping about 20 feet away in a store (they are in their 70's and move slowly, are hard of hearing and vision but I thought it would be nice to get them out to go shopping for a bit). Anyway, apparently in my 30's I look young enough to be harassed by a kid who looked like a child. Because there was a 3PM curfew for anyone under 21 there on Boxing Day. The day after Christmas. The day of all the final sales for the year. I'm just gonna call it. Totally BS. I have shopped all over the world. I tend to dress quite well - high end clothing, elegantly attired. I do NOT look like a child. The fact that these malls think they are doing good by stopping younger people from shopping after a certain time will lead to the DEATH of the mall. I promise you. Kids already mostly shop ONLINE for EVERYTHING. If you kick them out of the mall at 17 they may never return at 22. FACT. I saw 4 Asian women get harassed by a mall cop. These gals were sporting Chanel and for all the cop knew could have been over 40 years old. But hey - great idea to harass women that will drop 6,000 on a handbag at Saks. Genius plan Bucko! Needless to say it put a bad taste in my mouth and I am probably never going to return to Beachwood. I will keep to Legacy Village and Eaton Square.

First time going to Beachwood Plaza with my cousin. Great place to walk and shop then do a little eating. Well cleaned mall with spacious parking. High end stores along with other retailers. I definitely enjoyed myself and I will be back. Mall security was top notched.

I definitely give Beachwood Mall a deserved five stars because of their increased security, it was really nice to see armed security all around the mall that will keep the ill intended individuals away!!! They were very polite and helpful to guide me through my specific destinations (Lego Store and a couple of others). Their food court was extremely clean and the food was great as well.

This mall is very well maintained and full of interesting architecture and decor. The layout is interesting but it could be more intuitive, it is easy to get somewhat confused while aimlessly wandering around in this mall.

Cops and security everywhere rounding up girls and making them stay with their parents. Evening killer. Not going back.

Holding my 1 year old child with my wife, I’m 28 and she’s 27... meanwhile the high schoolers providing “security” (wannabe state troopers) asked to see our identification... SERIOUSLY? A couple with a child? There were numerous children running around unattended yet they weren’t stopped or given wristbands. We’ll do our shopping online from now on

My children went to the mall (black) got stopped at the door as soon as the entered and was told they wasn’t able to shop because they’re not 21. My nephew who escorted them is 20 as well as his wife, his sisters is 19 and 17. My niece goes there all the time and was never turned around. All of a sudden there’s a group of black young adults and and they can’t shop. If this isn’t racial profiling at its best idk what is. I never heard of a law that you can’t shop at the mall if you’re under 21 because there isn’t one. When doesn’t 18 19 and 20 make u an adult smfh. Sick of the racist mfs

I live on the west side, and anytime I need to meet with someone on the east side, I always suggest meeting and Beachwood place. It's a central location, right off the freeway, and everybody knows it. The food court has plenty of seating and And you can even tuck yourself away from the noise and excitement towards the back near the bathroom.

The mall has a lot of variety in terms of stores. It’s pretty, clean and the games for families are a really cool part. The one thing I don’t like is that it is so confusing to find my way around there. They do have a *few* (and I use that word half heartedly) directories but not where they seem to be most accessible. It drives me nuts every time I go there because I feel like I get sucked into a black hole. And then the people at the pop up stands try to get me to buy some stupid lotion or sunglasses or something- and after roaming around lost for a million years the last thing I want is for someone to sling miracle cream at me. Other than that though- I do like the mall.

Seems like your standard mall. However, for some reason I can never find anything useful here. The store are fine, bathrooms are clean, but everything I look for is somehow missing. It's probably me, the selection isn't lacking by any means, just something isn't there that I can't put my finger on.

Several nice restaurants are located here. One can find from Japanese (sushi) to Mexican, Chinese and American places. All food quality and service are excellent. There is also a nice coffee house, a great containers store and, for me, the crown jewel Mitchell's Ice cream: delicious, with a great variety, and a polite and eager to help staff

This is a great mall. We were in from out of town and was very impressed with the store selections. Great Saks... We are told the largest Jo Malone store in the US. Very upscale vibe to the entire mall. Definitely worth a visit.

Its one of the most popular shopping mall in cleveland. I love this place. Very clean and big. Many brands are available here. Huge collection of good brand. Also parking place is very big. You can order food at local restaurant here. For children’s have gaming zone, where they can spend there quality time. Highly recommended.

I love this mall. It has a couple of somewhat high end stores & my first experience was enjoyable. It reminds me of Pentagon city which is a very huge mall in VA (I'm from the DMV) so this mall was giving me that fancy, neat type of feel, reminding me of the area I'm from. And the set up of this mall is just nice. Will definitely return as soon as I can

I really enjoy this mall. The only issues I have are the kiosks. The people that work there are incredibly annoying and dramatic. Yesterday when I was there, I walked by the kiosk selling perfume. I was on the phone and a worker shouted at me “Ring, ring! Is anyone there?” Can you respect my privacy and not shout at me? A few weeks ago, the same worker asked me several times if I wanted a sample though I said no thank you every time. When I said no and walked away, she actually pouted. Please stop being rude and annoying.

I've enjoyed this mall for years but lately the Police presence is getting out of hand. I've seen Police patrolling the mall with K9 dogs on several days this past month. Not to mention the squads of Police and Rent a cops needed to clear the evil young people out on weekend nights. That kind of show of force must mean serious trouble of some kind. I feel much safer at Great Lakes Mall where I don't think I've ever seen more than the 2 - 4 security people.

My experience with California nails was very unpleasant. First of all we walked into the salon and no one was paying attention to the front and finally someone yelled from the back to put our phone number down and it’ll be fifteen minutes. Well way longer than fifteen minutes goes by and we get the call. It was very unprofessional, the woman who did my nails was on the phone 90% of time talking to other clients while telling me to hold on and pausing my manicure. This wasn’t the only reason why my manicure was bad, the quality was undeniably poor quality. The second coat of polish was smaller and uneven than the first coat so it was layered. It was embarrassing having a friend ask me if I personally did my nails and I had to admit I got them done but the manicure was poor. Overall I do not recommend this salon.

This is one of the few indoor malls left in my area. It's been able to make It this far, because of the location. HI tax bracket. It's still a nice mall with nice stores, and a great clientele. If you're in the beatchwood area, go check them out.

Beechwood Place was great! Very festive. Children of all ages were enjoying games like Connect four as well as other games throughout the Mall. People were still basking in the glow of the Christmas Spirit speaking and smiling at each other. I brought a pair of boots from Clark's. Great selections!

Friends and I (all 17 almost 18) drove 40 minutes to get there just to be told to leave after walked in the door right before 5. Also, there’s very little to choose from in the food court as well as the stores. Neither me, my friend, or my family are going again. Complete bs.

What is there not to love about Beachwood Place? It is the best shopping mall in NE Ohio and has a right to have that reputation. Saks, Nordstrom, Dillard’s all in one spot. Add in all of the quirky and unique boutique stores like Aveda, Lucky Brand Jeans, Lush, just to name a few, and you have a shopping paradise. We were recently there and we incredibly lucky that the mall was not crazy crowded—and it does get very busy here. Shopping and parking was breeze and we had a wonderful lunch as well—Charley’s Subs for me and Auntie Anne pretzels for my family. Overall, the experience here is what you expect in a mall of its caliber—professional, enjoyable, and very positive. We did score some great holiday deals here when we were shopping and if you are in need of gifts, this is the place to be.
