My last trip to this mall will be my last trip. The sound of loud, screaming children in the play area in the middle of the mall invaded every store I entered. I finally fled the mall to make my purchases elsewhere. There are more than enough vacant stores in that mall to house a play area behind closed doors so the kids can have fun. There is no need to place it in the open center courtyard and drive the customers away.

I take my daughter to the playground in this mall. It's a nice place to get out of the snow and let her burn some energy. Unfortunately, there really isn't too many options for family-friendly food or drink in the mall. It makes for short trips for us.

What used to be a bustling mall is now a sad shadow of what is used to be. Many of the shops are just closed now, and many other have really strange hours. There are still a couple good shops in here though like the hardware store and barber shop.

Midtown Kidtown is a fun stop for young children. Stores are lacking, but international market is a good place for out of the ordinary food, and rumors is a solid sports bar with gaming and food.

I call this the Jesus Mall. It's a wonderful place. I've cried there. Worshiped God there. Watched children play. I like reading the word in front of the fireplace. Hope Church has helped my learn about who I am without pressure. Beautiful people in that building. I love being there. I get my haircut by Eric. I like him.

Kind of a strange mall, I remember it was kind of a good mall 25-30 years ago. A church bought out one entire end. There's a Kmart, Ace Hardware and gift stores. The book store "Furguson Books" there is pretty great. There is also Rumors bar and off sale.

Small mall with loads of surprises, like free puppet shows once a month, an indoor playground for littles, plus a shoe repair and watch repair shop. You can even get you vacuum fixed while you stand in line at the DMV. Oh, and did I mention the cupcake place?

This is a very clean mall for one that looks like it is hanging onto life. Most storefronts are filled. Has a fantastic antique shop, barber, child development and travel agency, in addition to a tattoo artist.

The grand cities mall in Grand forks was one of the busiest malls in it's day. It has gone through some tough times but has always endured. Lately some new life is coming back into the malls spaces. My favorite is the antique mall inside the mall itself if you want to find all kinds of old and rare items take a look there. They literally have anything you can think of. I can spend hours just looking around at all the neat items they have. Kmart, ace hardware, the Christian bookshelf, rumors, and not to overlook joy and the girls at cost cutters are my usual places to go. But there are many other smaller shops that have service's of all kinds and if you are looking to find for a place to worship there are two church's located at the grand cities mall. Well it's a far cry from the 1970's when we went up to the pit to play video games and foosball and the plaza twin theaters where I saw starwars for the first time but there are some nice shops which offer a dynamic range of items and service's, have fun shopping!

We love Midtown Kidtown here! It's the playground inside, it's all enclosed, the flooring is a soft rubber, the structures are great for little toddlers and kids 5+ as well. It's a great place to come in the winter! We also like the Asian food store, and Ferguson Books which is attached!

Some good concepts in this mall, if that's what one calls it. They have a Ludosport Lightsaber academy, which is pretty rad. Huge megachurch at the end of the building (who also now own said building) the Kmart here has definitely seen better days but has some ok stock if you're willing to deal with the almost depressing conditions.

Nice carpeting, clean and roomy. Lots of small vending machines and rides for kids. There was only 1 food place open. Most stores were closed or shut down on a Saturday. I didnt really find any stores that I liked.

Now that they've built the Midtown Kidtown play area for the kiddos, the entire shopping center has improved. I hope their numbers do too. Very undervalued place to shop. Toucan International is a must visit.

It's not exactly a hub for a shopping center but it's great indoor entertainment for young kids. We are from out of town and didn't want to burden our hosts with an early morning wake up from our kids. We grabbed a stroller and coffee and came here. The lounge area outside of Hope was perfect for coloring and relaxing, the play area was fun and clean, and tde rides entertaining (even off). A fun free morning!
