My favorite place to walk and shop. You can find food for ever craving
Nice place to shop. And best part you will get usps here
We were searching for the new Ice cream spot I had hear about. Found it "Jenni 's" ice cream. Many Interesting flavors, generous portions, and we sampled many, all delicious hard to choose.
Spent some here because it was near enough the airport and we had some time to occupy. Went to a bookstore there...new titles, indie, well stocked.
Oldest and most established shopping center on Charlotte that offers something to everyone, restaurants, trending shops, hardware store, a Harris Teeter grocery store that is top notch plus more!
Lots of choices and clean atmosphere
Wow, a busy place. Went to the Blackhawk Hardware, impressive!
What a great shopping center! Modern, but still a major-league blast from the past!
Park Rd shopping center has upscaled forcing a lot of the older places out but you can't beat choices to eat . Check out the back for the bakery and the choices in plants . Stop in at one of our last small book stores and see when they are having a book signing.
Grew up in the area. Good food, Good entertainment (cinema) and a nice place to meet people. All the shops for a small town in one place. Located real close to South Park Mall and an ideal place for those in search of advancement on an economical level.
Parking is a little funky, but lots of great shops and restaurants.
I love shopping here because of all the outdoor seating available. There is also a big variety (hardware to boutique to garden center).
Nothing extra and it was really crowded at lunch time.
Great shopping center with lots of variety and cool eateries
Nice modernization. Great food. I love Blackhawk hardware
Jason's deli, ordered medium sized Texas Spud with brisket BBQ sauce and cheese. Very hot and tasty the barbecue sauce was a dud. Medium-sized Spud where to go unless you're very hungry and very large. Try the New York Yankee sandwich. It's pastrami and corned beef combo. The large size is pricey .
Amazing food choices and shops.
Nice and clean. Plenty parking space. There are plenty of quality eating places. Worthwhile a visit.
The Flying Biscuit is the BOMB! Easter Sunday breakfast was delicious and service was great. An all around perfect time.
Great restaurants, nice mix of retail. Its sad they are running out their old tenants.
Nice shopping complex. Easy to come and get out.
Always friendly service and no wait. Food comes quickly. Decent BBQ, not the finest, but consistent and reasonable. And beer...
The great things about this place are that there are a lot of cool shops and great places to eat. Nothing is run of the mill and there is lots to see even if you're not there to spend money. The BAD part, is that parking is a nightmare, traffic gets very congested, and accordingly, some of the stores and restaurants can be a wait to get to.
One of the first malls in Charlotte to open was Park Road shopping Center. Now it still has that nostalgic flavor but with modern touches. If you enjoy walking, you’ll love this place. It’s a long, out door, one-story style building, as opposed to a traditional mall that’s inside and multi-storied. It’s a great way to spend a day, or if you’re in a hurry, maybe you can get lucky and parked directly in front of your chosen store for an in and out visit.
Good plaza , nice people go there . Good neighborhood .
Great stores and restaurants! Also a movie Theater. Love this place. Park Roads Bookstore is worth the trip!
Also a fun place to find things you need for house and fun
Refurbished factory with tons of unique shops, worth the stop.
This was actually a really cool shopping mall. It was unique and sort of ritzy if you will? There was a random assortment of places in it. I just went to the juice bar and the the smoke shop and the ice cream place. If you have money to spend or want to just stroll and eat ice cream with your SO then it's a fun time.
Amazing place, everything you need in once.
Awesome food. Great staff.
Charlotte's original shopping center, and still a great place to shop!
I love Park road shopping center! They have really made such a great place to eat, drink and shop
Two stars for getting into the shopping center in the first place. There are a great variety of stores but be ready to be very agitated driving in/out and parking. I avoid going to this center unless I can only find what I want there.
Love that shopping center!!! So much to do, see, and restaurants & bars to enjoy.
Park Road is has all you need and ample parking too. A lot of restaurants, good shopping, and every store to satisfy your shopping needs
Brownlee Jewelry store to purchase a sterling silver anklet bracelet and was on sell for half price, fits perfect and very good deal! The sales lady was very professional and helpful!! Will be going back again!!
Nothing like Krispy Kreme
Great place to shop. They have a variety of stores here.
It's got everything & they are adding new upscale dining & shopping all the time. Jeni's is the best ice cream in town, Blackhawk hardware has everything, Michael's is great, Co. Shake Shack the list goes on & on & on
I am not sure if I will be able to make the best decision for the next two weeks or months it has changed so much the parking lot is crazy
Great shopping and restaurants. This place is always buzzing with people.
Definitely one of the best Hidden Gem type shopping places in the city, it's an older shopping Center in the city having been around my entire life but I absolutely love the upgrades that have been made and the newer modern stores, incredibly trendy and the type of shopping center where you could just hang out all day, I would definitely recommend stopping
Lots of very good stores - well worth the visit!
Convenient and has both services, home Depot, Burlington, and TJMaxx.
Great charlotte vibe that pulls the city into an easy access area.
Experience the Park Road Shopping Center Experience. Music store, restaurants, nail salon, hardware, furniture, pubs, dress shop, grocery, coffee shop, drug store, bakery, movie theater. This place has it all. I liked it so much I opened a music store here. Come and visit.
Brownlee jewelry my One Stop shop for the Best prices on The Best jewelry. Harold and his team will take care of you. 10 Stars service.
Lots of great shops!
Great shopping center with plenty of parking and a variety of shops and restaurants. Needs a better grocery than the pitiful Harris Teeter.
There is a Harris Teeter which is convenient if you don't mind over price groceries and there are a few curious shops but most of them seem Boutique and not very practical. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know of any actual communal locations here that truly reflect the diverse community of the area. One of it's drawers is a ABC store which is in walking distance.
this is always such a fun place to window shop
Been coming here since the 60s. It is more hard to get in and out of.. but that is the traffic. Best here: Amilies, Midwood Smokehouse and the hardware store that's been there forever.
Nice but I wish they had black barbies at 2nd and charles
Went to Blackhawk hardware. Always amazed at store selections, store cleanliness, free popcorn and such highly knowledgeable/friendly staff. If they can't get your item: it probably doesn't exist.. After shopping stop at the Suarez bakery before heading to AMC movie.
Small shopping really nice to visit
A variety of stores in an excellent area of Charlotte.
There are many things to do here. My reason for coming here is usually the Flying Biscuit. They make a shrimp and grits that is amazing I can't find anything like it in town. I also recommend the pimento cheese. There is also a Harris Teeter here as well.
This shopping center has a vast variety of stores, restaurants, and shops. I only took away a star because the parking lot and roads weren't designed well for high volume of traffic vs. pedestrians vs. other vehicles... but otherwise it's great.
Some good shops
One of my favorite restaurant's is in this area of town
Nice. Laid back. Convenient. Safe area. Lots to offer. Food and shops with a hint of fun.
Park Road shopping center is one of the oldest shopping centers in Charlotte built in the mid 1950s. About 5 or so years ago they starting revitalizing this center, somehow they managed to update it without stripping it of all the nostalgic vibes. It's an open air one story strip mall with sooooo many options for food and shopping to choose from, lots of parking and a great way to in some serious steps so be cautious of pedestrians while finding your parking space. My salon is in this shopping center (Dolce Lusso), I use it as an excuse to go to Black Hawk Hardware (it's just awesome), the Flying Biscuit (breakfast doesn't get much better) and Chopt (that green goddess dressing). There is also a Harris Teeter, post office, Rite Aide, nail salon, midwood smokehouse, suarez bakery, dot dot dot, bagels....up get the point. Check it out you can get errands done and find some delicious food.
Great selection of shops. Parking can be cramped but there's always spots. Watch for people just wandering out into the road.
Never really explored this area but there are some hidden gems that I would love to try. Jeni´s ice cream in this area is hidden in plain sight and when you first open the door the smell of fresh made waffle cones welcomes your nose. The ice cream flavors omg
went to Blackhawk Hardware ... awesome place
Nice neighborhood shopping center with a laid back atmosphere. Neighbors off of Park Road enjoy the weekend here with friends and family whether it's grocery shopping at Harris Teeter, sitting down for breakfast or brunch at the Park Road Soda Shoppe (where the southern hospitality and homecooked meals are able to win over even the most discerning critic), pick up band instruments for school aged children at the local Music Store, or even spend alone time while mingling at the area's bookstore before wrapping a early morning outing... There is something special here for anyone interested in getting a better idea of Charlotte's South End!
Nice shops and restaurants and grocery here!!
Love this lil shopping center
Nice high scale restaurants and shopping area
So much to do here! Suarez Bakery and Amalie's are my favorites. Flying Biscuit is excellent as well.
I visit the Park Road shopping center quite often to eat at CO restaurant. The restaurant has Asian fusion dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China and Korea so it’s a one stop shop for different Asian foods. Always fresh. My only complaint is the small shrimp
One of Charlottes first shopping centers and first of it's kind. Has a great variety of stores and restaurants, ample free parking and easy access. Groceries, hardware, post office, breakfast, dinner, bakery, consignment shop, BBQ
Blackhawk hardware is a Charlotte's stable. Lots of competent people around to help you, unlike most big-box stores
I visited Amélie's French Bakery & Café for a coffee and a pastry with a close friend. Great atmosphere to relax and catch up.
Everything I need is there! Grocery store, lots of restaurants, Post office, bank kiosks,a hardware store, craft store,a key maker, EVERYTHING!! CLOSE TO HOME. PERFECT. Been going there for almost 50years
Charlotte's first shopping center. It has a good mix of everything.
Fun. Clean. Convenient
Great neighborhood shopping. Lot of errands running in one spot
Great place for many different things.
The employees in the Harris Teeter will follow you from aisle to aisle on their walkie talkies and think you dont notice it. They will tell you theyre having an issue with theft..very uncomfortable in there. Maybe thats the point.
I haven't been here
Many shops. Parking could be better , but its always full because everyone loves tha shops here.
What's to do many places Worthy
The peoples at HT was very nice and will to help . I enjoy that kind of service and will share with others.
Good food. Awesome service
There's so many shops here. And now AMC theater & shake shack . I love this area. Can never get tired pic browsing along Michaels, Harris teeter rite aide boutiques awesome children's thrift shop! It's so much to shop, eat and be entertained here NOW!
Love this place and have been shopping here since I moved to Charlotte in the mid eighties. Love the Cafe, Michael's, park Rd Books, HT, great restaurants old and new. Really miss the theater though. Free standing tobacco shop and gelattoria
Lots of good stuff to eat.
Parking lot a nightmare....hard to get in and out and parking is confusing and not well thought out....Landlord sacrificed customer convenience to pack in another tennant!!! THIS IS WHY BRICK AND MORTER STORES ARE FADING!!!!!
Love this little slice of Charlotte.
Great place to shop!
Nice place to shop cool environment love it.
Good places to eat and shop for a day out and about.
I shop at Food Lion mostly and find everything I need and at a good price. It's not far from home.
Live they kept the historic open air shopping center. The face lift a few years ago was done nicely and keeping historic sign is a plus. Sadly rent went up and many long standing establishments closed or moved. It busy, be aware, put down your phone and look out for others!
Great outdoors provision company good stuff not inexpensive
Harris Teeter the best
Nice, have lots variety
Very busy place, but good shopping
The area is getting a little rough
There has everything you need.
I love this area but hate parking
The food was so amazing. Not a long wait at all. Great atmosphere and nice servers. A bit pricy but worth it
Great selection of stores to shop at and in my opinion Cantina 1511 is the Best Mexican Restaurant anywhere. They also have the best hardware store in the state here. Reason I only gave 3
Hidden eateries for a foodie like me! Love the area!
Check out Amelie's if you haven't already. It's my favorite place to relax, people watch, work, and meet up with friends. The atmosphere is kooky and spectacular.
Nice high end shopping center.
I absolutely love this shopping center and location. There are a lot of specialty shops and just a shopping center of chain stores a and restaurants. The AMC movie theater is there too!
Theres alot of things to look at in Blackhawk...my o my
Blackhawk Hardware, I love this place and could stay for hours & hours. Picked up somethings for my repair job!
Growing up here, this is always held a tight place in my heart. I'll be honest and say that it went through some hard years, but it is phenomenal right now. Anything you want is there great food great stores cleanliness everything.
Great shopping center but super busy with people. I guess that's a good sign huh?
Always love this place. There's something for all ages. Couldn't tell you though my favorite store here. I can't decide. Guess ill have to go back again. I'll get back to y'all on this one.
Great shops and eateries!
Bike source great place to get your bikes fix or even purchase one
We went to Midwood Smoke House behind Park Road shopping center...the food was exceptional, service was fantastic, overall exceptional experience! Would highly recommend!
Nice place oh, I went to the theater but I did not see anything playing that I wanted to watch.
Lunch at Aimelei's. Great as always!
Oldest shopping center in Charlotte I believe. The recent updates have taken away some of its history but definitely helped a desperate eyesore on your way into the Southpark area.
Great shopping center. Almost everything you could want is in this strip. Stop by and enjoy some time hitting the shops
So many great stores and places to eat.
Parkibg was nice. Found Snipit easily
The oldest strip mall in Charlotte. They have everything. Food, the best hardware store you will ever go to, nice men's shops, Hallmark, bagel shops, lunch shops. This place is literally a one-stop-shop for everything
I like this shopping center. They have your coffee and shopping. I go to kid to kid a lot and they are pretty good with the exchange of my kids clothes.
Shopping center has changed a lot. Still cool place best local bookstore is located here
Lots of useful shoes and wonderful icecream at Jennies
Great selection of shops & restaurants. Very walkable. Lots of parking.
Fun and lovely shopping plaza. Great food and shopping choices that fit all your needs!
It's pretty good you get what you need to there.
It's Ok. No complaints
All around good shopping center. Good mix.
Great place to get just about anything you may need. Feel like a hometown type place.
Better than Disney world...
Best soda shop good food. Very small seating area first come gets a seat. The staff very friendly with good service. The good is excellent
This shopping center has undergone an incredible transformation. Several new restaurants, with lots of great choices. For a fresh alternative to the mall,go there.!
I love the variety of shops and restaurants here! The parking lot is a little hectic but its maintained well, especially considering how old the shopping center is.
Flying ✈ Biscuit is always a solid Breakfast! The high flyer or regular flying biscuit breakfast meal is in the picture... But Listen Up... Their scrambles are bomb
Great variety of shopping, restaurants, now has AMC Theater
Very nice area and lots of food options.
Iimited menu. Over priced
Great, walkable shops, check out the outdoor gardens at Blackhawk Hardware!
Not the best parking. Hard to get in & out or. Great selection
Lots of shops. Good variety. Sports, bicycles, cafes, crafts, groceries, USPS. Cigar shop is great, too.
Loved The Flying Biscuit restaurant. Will be going back!
Great atmosphere, shops, restaurants. We visit Park Rd Shopping Center a few times a month and always enjoy ourselves.
Plenty of shops and restaurants but the parking spaces are a little too compact. It's easy to spend 3 to 4 hours there.
Best strip mall in Charlotte. Gives you small town charm with a great selection of stores.
I tried the Rite Aid. I found some great gifts. I was sorry to hear they are phasing out the Plentiful Card, as several stores are doing. A sign of the times I imagine. It was an enjoyable experience.
Clean and safe..
Great selection of restaurants and boutique shops. Also has a Harris Teeter and the ABC is not to far to walk to!
so many great boutique shops and restaurants. bonus that harris teeter anchors it so it's super convenient for my one-stop shopping trips.
Shopping Center has made huge improvements in the last few years, it’s a great place to get a bunch of errands done (groceries, pharmacy, post office) and also has a variety of new(ish) restaurants. You can always find parking, but it might not be close to where you need to shop. Worth it though!
Used to be more of a time capsule but still a great spot.
This is the best shopping center, came here on a lazy day with my boyfriend and just walked around to different stores and shops, we had the best time. Will definitely be back just to stroll around.
Custom Ink, a new screen print store. Check them out you won't go wrong.
It was my first time going here and it was very nice
