Needs work!

Mommin' Aint Easy

New bern mall needs a serious revamp. Theres 3 shoe stores, 1 Michael's, and the rest clothing stores. We also have 3 restaurants inside. Every other mall I've been to had rides for kids (train rides, playhouses and merry go rounds), toy stores, and just a better variety of places. I know elderly people who come here to walk. It definitely serves that purpose very well because theres planty of space.

Looking good. Stores are full again and I found what I needed at a very reasonable price. Personal thing. If you're not hungry avoid the food court or Big Apple will get you every time. Smells too good.

Clean, friendly atmosphere. Hub for several major New Bern retailers, including Hobby Lobby, Belk, JCPenny, a couple of shoe stores and Bath and Body... just to name a few. Wheelchair accessible at all entries and public restrooms. Police Department located within so you have the feeling of security.

Not a fully equipped mall with many empty store fronts. Needs redocorating, new retail shops, and service businesses. The exterior needs a huge facelift. There is very little to draw potential customers into the mall.

Its like you keep thinking the larger stores lead you to the rest of the mall but they only lead you outside. Strange really not to even have a Clares. What kind of mall doesnt have a Clares or an Express?!?!?!?!?! Im still shaking my head over that. At least Kay jewlers is amazing all my stars i give are for the ladies at Kay jewlers. Muah ladies!! Bravo!!

Quiet mall. Customer service left a bit to be desired. A worker at the hibachi/smoothie place dumped a cup of ice water on a customer, then laughed and ran off. Never brought this poor gentleman napkins, never cleaned up her mess. Left the ice water spill on the floor.

So cute! Just enough stores, and they're not too shabby either. The restaurants are quite popular and for good reason! The service is nice and the places are clean, not to mention the food is very soothing to the palate l as well. There is a police station on the far right end so don't shoplift! Anyway, it makes me feel pretty safe there. Therr are stores for all ages including attire, shoes, and home. Not a bad little place! ❤ A+ !

I love this mall. They do change stores every few years, guess the stores either move to a newer location or their lease is up. I used to live in Jacksonville several years ago and just moved back because I absolutely love the atmosphere. The mall has so many selections and my favorite stores are the ones that sell body products, sunglasses and shoes. Only downside, to me, is that they close so early. I think they should stay open to Andre least 11pm. But that is just me. Love this place. It is andretlso great for window shopping and hanging out with friends. Highly recommend giving this place a visit.

We, the people of Craven county have this mall, and are happy to have a mall.... but so wish for a real Mall, so we are stuck with this, and from talking to tenants understand why no one really wants to open a business there. But we keep hoping, and watch as newer, nicer shopping centers open

The New Bern Mall is a slightly dated facility which is to be expected for a slightly dated retail shopping concept. In general malls are facing increasing pressure from both ends of the retail market. On one end stand alone stores that offer greater convenience or deeper discounts are competing for the brick and mortar shoppers. On the other end buyer direct internet shoppers avoid the store entirely. The days of family outings to malls that were anchored by big department stores on the ends and full of interesting restaurants and boutique shops in the middle seem to be passing. The New Bern Mall shows this trend. There are too many empty retail slots and too few shoppers to feel a buzz of excitement. Please don't get me wrong. The stores are serviceable. The Belk department store is what you would expect. The main concourse is clean. The structure isn't crumbling. It just feels like the whole facility is a step out of pace. I recently visited the mega King of Prussia mall outside of Philadelphia. That facility is packed with expensive high end clothing, jewelry and specialty shops and jammed with customers. New Bern simply couldn't support that kind of venture. What this community is left with is a largely forgettable shopping experience that has to be good enough.

I came here to Belk and decided to walk the mall since it was my first visit. It is a clean mall and set up well. It is not a huge mall by any means but has a few stores and definitely not crowded. A few places to eat, few shoe stores, 2 department stores and a few more small stores is what saw.

If you're looking for shoes/sneakers go here. There's plenty of stores selling them. Anything else... I would rank this mall as one of the worst as far as selections go. It's always clean and the crowd is defintely not an issue, but the idea of going to the mall and getting everything you need because of the selctions of stores present does not apply to the New Bern Mall.

I give 5 stars to the mall now in comparison to the mall it used to be. Greater selection for shopping, much cleaner. Pics of NB on walls from many years ago are a nice touch too. The parking lot configuration keeps me guessing.. Keep growing!!

I loved the old mall better they took out the arcade , fountain , Chinese store and added the new been police department. Of all things to add in a mall a police station. Get real could u found anything better wow. Half the shops are over priced just ashamed with the changes.

The New Bern Mall has come a long way since it was the twin rivers mall but still has a ways to go. New Bern desperately needs more places to buy clothing but seems like we will get 7 new groceries stores before that happens. I personally like to park in the very back, behind belks and behind the New Bern Police Substation (yes, there is a unit of the police department in the mall, just like a store). You will usually get a good parking spot and have easy access to one of many low key entrances. Also, if you pull into the mall from the back side (turn left at the college stoplight, left at Goodwill, goto stop sign and make a right) you also save a lot of stoplight/Walmart and Chick-fil-A traffic.

When I was a child, the mall was the best place in New Bern. Now, it is a dull shadow of what it once was. There used to be an arcade and the record bar, as well as a toy store. Now replaced by clothes shops and nail salons. I know those places are important to people too, but a mall should be more about an exciting experience, not a place where you visit the Police Dept.which is also there.I miss the times that my family and I would buy from the food court and then sit around a spring of water where some would toss coins in for good luck. Come on, Twin Rivers owners, be innovative and nostalgic! Make our mall greater than ever.

Great place to go shopping for almost anything. There are a few things you can't get & would have to go elsewhere, like groceries and certain specialty items like basketball hoops or baby strollers but other than that you can find almost anything you want. Great family friendly atmosphere. Floors carpeted so it's a great place to walk & get your 10,000 steps!

It's a tiny mall with like 15 stores, a few restaurants, and a police station. Decor is very boring and outdated. There's no kiosks. The Rue 21 has been going out of business for like a year. It's really the only decent place to buy clothes in New Bern though.

This mall is a lot smaller than what I'm used to in New England. However, it has a good amount of stores for its size. I love their bath and body works. The employees are so friendly and call me by name when they see me come in. The Belk is nice and has a great variety despite its size. Their standout food options would definitely be Buffalo Wild Wings and Big Apple Pizza. This place is a nice little something to do to kill time on a Saturday afternoon.

First got to say, it's nice to have a Mall here in New Bern. Great place to go walking, as I see many people use for exercise walking. Always have a place to go rain or shine.. Miss having a place to purchase an ice cream cone. Would like to see an ice cream place find a home, once again at the Mall. Buffalo Wild Wings, Big Apple Pizza, Annabelle's a new restaurant being added in near future, I think is Chinese but not sure. It's not a large Mall, but is growing.. Some business a small have WiFi available. Come check it out lots of parking...

I love the carpeted flooring and to see that it is holding up quite nicely, even with more and more people walking across it. However, the maintainers need to do something about the water pressure coming through the restroom faucets... I just need a little more water to wash my hands with. the trickle effect will have me standing there all day long and not be able to go shop!! Is that too much info?

Mostly shoe stores... and other department type stores..not really any typical big name stores. This is more of an indoor plaza. But it is nice... never been and it be crowded..tho I don't go ALOT. I go to the Michael's there. Quiet and calm..it nice to just walk around and maybe window shop

Finally, it got the renovations in which it so much needed, along with a different owner. It now has retail store that both the public and community are both looking for and want. Where the public and community can go to either shop/eat, or maybe even both. Along with the security, that makes you feel safe. But for the life of me, I do see both the Pros and Cons about having a Police station, BUT in the Mall...To each, is his own...
