Love walking to the fruit a bowl

Parking can be a bit of a madhouse on the first two floors closer to the Trader Joe's or Best Buy but parking near the Marshall's or Staples is usually easy. Spots are a bit small for larger vehicles. There are a bunch of great places to eat and shop. Easy highest access and proximity to some of Charlotte's best neighborhoods along with the nearby Target department store and ABC store make this a great shopping destination.

Trader Joe's is our 4th home. The Target has the best selection of black hair care products for natural hair. There are awesome paths and trails for bikes and walkers. Pisces is well loved!!! There some grassy areas for families, packing a basket of food, and preferably responsible pet owners. This was well constructed to achieve a metropolitan feel integrating nature for balance

I wouldn’t call it a shopping mall. But has your basic urban shopping must haves. Few cute restaurants and an awesome walking trail near by. Parking can be quite a task at certain times.

This shopping complex is probably the only thing I really miss from living closer to Uptown Charlotte. We moved out to Harrisburg and there's really nothing shopping wise or retail wise around. I love that the greenway is closed so I could go out and do some jogging there's places to live there. They are great places to dine and fast food. It's one of those places I would consider moving when my kids grow up.

Being this place is in its original capacity housed hundreds of African Americans, I was surprised to notice there wasn't any Black artirt on Music at the Met on Thursday night. I was directed to call the property management by one of the resteraunt and I am still waiting for a callback

A lot of great stores and restaurants. I mostly come here for the Target and Trader Joe's, but there's also a Marshalls, Best Buy, and so on. This is also a great place to look for food. Vivace is one of my favorite restaurants, but there are other good options as well. There's a great view of the city, and one of the greenways starts/ends there. I think my only complaint is parking. It takes a little while to get in and out of the parking deck and I usually end up on the third floor, which takes a while with the traffic. Overall, great place.

Great shops and a few new stores are in the making soon shortly (probably open for business by this Summer 2019 or later. Easy access to Little Sugar Creek Greenway, Pearl Park, and the greenway leads to/ends at Freedom Park (off of East Blvd and passes by Atrium Main Hospital formerly Carolinas Medical Center - Main). Families, couples old and young, singles, and dog walkers enjoy not having to deal with traffic on the busy streets where the greenway passes through (starts in the Elizabeth neighborhood on campus of Central Piedmont Community College - Central Campus, runs along Kings Drive pass or through Metropolitan/ Cherry neighborhood, and ends at East Blvd, within Freedom Park, within the Dilworth neighborhood).

I shopped at Marshall's which is on the 3rd floor of the Metropolitan Plaza. There is destinated parking on the 3rd floor with easy access to Marshall's. The elevator in the parking deck is clean and well ventilated.. in the event you can't park on the 3rd floor. The music was not loud and disruptive, the store is well-lit and a comfortable temperature. The dressing room is clean and enough room to get the job done. The sale on memory foam sandals was a nice surprise, but nothing else to offer in ladies heels. I enjoyed strolling the isles, there's something everyone...even Jelly Belly's

I thought I had already reviewed place. I like most of the shops. However, as a moss / Shopping Center it's an odd duck. It is kind of sort of an outdoor shopping center. However, the way it is shaped the only thing it's missing for it to be an indoor Center is a roof. It is freezing cold there in the winter and can be miserably hot in the summer. Studio Movie Grill is always a fun place. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the food. However, the seats are comfy. If you do want something to eat they bring the food to your seat. And at the time of this review you can get a Groupon for $5 for admission.

Took a friend to the Best Buy here. Much more accommodating than the Best Buy in Matthews. Any business with Best Buy in the future, will be at the Metropolitan location. Parking is adequate but nothing to write home about. It is convenient to have a nice mix of business here. I've been there for Trader Joe's and Staples as well. Haven't spent much time exploring but I think there are a few more shops in there as well. Nice, quirky little place with shops that aren't available closer. Appears to be a safe environment, but couldn't speak authoritatively to that.

The area is nice I come for Trader Joe's mostly but sometimes I stop into Target, Pisces, the Smoothie place or Zoe's so there's always a few things to get done while here. At least you can always find parking and not have to walk 10 miles to your destination.

An awesome, all in one shopping experience, paired with great restaurant choices. Thanks to the compact design of the Metropolitan shoppes, Trader Joe's, Marshall, Staples, Best Buy and Target are all a hop and a skip of each other. They also offer some nice specialty and gift shops in the vicinity. My favorite eats would be Zoe's, due to their health aware menu. It's so awesome to have all these stops at a central location.

I really do not like going here. I don't like parking in a parking deck. I miss when I lived in the suburbs and could just simply park my car and walk into a store. But, when you live in the city you have to park in the parking deck to go to a freaking Target. I want to move. Anyway it's clean, relatively safe, but I'm still scared to go at night in the dark by myself. I go so that I can go to Trader Joe's and Target.

It's a great place to spend time, there's a lot to do: shopping (Target, Trader Joe's, West Elm, Best Buy, Marshalls to name a few) dining (Pisces, Hickory Tavern, Chipotle, Wendy's, Zoe's, Omaggio, Dressler's, Vivace, Le Macaron, etc). Some of those open up to the beautiful Midtown Park and Little Sugar Creek Greenway that runs by it. Be it a late afternoon walk in an uptowny atmosphere or a morning shopping run or just a lunch time break - it's always an enjoyable place.

I love this spot! Great shopping, restaurants and right on the greenway. There is a lovely park next door and I love coming here to run and walk on the greenway along Little Sugar Creek. There is live music some nights and some of the restaurants have lovely patio seating along the greenway. There is a gorgeous view of the Charlotte skyline from here. Also, along the greenway are plaques giving information about the local ecology and history of this area. There are some beautiful sculptures of local historical figures as well. My favorite is the sculpture to remember Thompson's orphanage nearby. Yes, the parking lot is tight. But if you pay attention, give yourself plenty of time for parking, and remember to bring some patience...It's not that bad. You can't be in a hurry in this parking deck.
