A very long time since frequenting this area. My husband was scheduled for a colonoscopy at one of UNC hospitals Gastrointestinal Clinics. We love that parking is both free and spacious. The receptionist, nurses, and physician were all very knowledgeable of their duties, friendly, informative (computers went down but, waiting families immediately told of delays), the procedure was successful and went quite smoothly. I would definitely highly recommend this location if your doctor requires you to have this particular procedure.

Meadowmont has for many years been one of the few "other" places I would want to live besides my own home. To each his/her own, but the area, it's restaurants and stores and other facilities just make Meadowmont very attractive to me. Being part of Chapel Hill and on main road accesses are just more pluses. It's all a bit expensive, but not out of reach for most -- depends on how you want to spend your money.

The only store I've been to in this center is the Starbucks connected to a Harris Teeter, but I always go out of my way to go here instead of ones closer to me. Nice little ourdoor areas, and a somewhat cozg interior other than the Harris teeter entrance lol

The area is very nice. We were there for a triathlon that was taking place across the street. I was very surprised the triathlon bringing in almost 1000 people, including staff, vendors, etc. No one offered any specials or signs welcoming the athletes. Or I didn't see any. However, with this being said, the few places we went to were very clean, the people were all very nice and food was good.

You have to negotiate 10 speed tables to get from Ephesus Church Road to the shopping area at Meadmont Village. I say this upfront because that's the reason I avoid going here from West Chapel Hill most of the time. The only other way to get into the shopping area unless you live there is to come out from Chapel Hill on I40, then down through all of the lights and traffic on 54... or come out through all of the congestion of 15-501 South. In short, it's a great location that isn't easy to get to quickly unless you already live there. That being said, it's cute location with an interesting mix of shops and small restaurants. Some locations seem to flip frequently, but others have been there since it opened up. Brixx always seems to draw the largest crowd and has a really nice outdoor seating option near the center of the shopping area turn-around.
