Really cute shopping area. Loads of unusual shops and restaurants.
We really enjoy Savory Spice & The Olive Wagon. Also delicious coffee & places to eat!
The food was delicious. I had the chicken wings which were cooked to perfection with just the right hotness.
Great spot with a variety of services/shops and dining options
Love this little shopping & eating area. While Fresh Levant is my favorite place there, I discover new places every time. There is a great Olive oil place, a few gift stores, a nail place, a florist, a wine bar and plenty of food places!
There is a coffee shop here that truly serves the finest coffee in Raleigh. Oh you can get hot delicious food here ,breakfast. Or lunch. Very well managed
Great Food. My fav is the salmon.
First time here. Cool place to wander around and explore. Great shops and eateries.
This is a neat little shopping center. I visited the beer shoppe, which had a decent selection of local brews. Apparently there is live music several nights a week. It's also located right next to a wine cellar.
This is an amazing place for crepes. When we are in tbt Raleigh area and want a special treat, this is where we go. I got a sweet crepe, the Strawberry and Cream. It was absolutely delicious! Everyone else got savory crepes, which I tasted and it was very good! My daughter got the Madame crepe tons of cheese and meat. It waiter did a great job and the management even came out and done with us. The establishment is very clean and tidy. I will definitely return.
Shops are nice...square is nice....parking is an abso nightmare
Romantic place to hang out for an evening.. Great restaurant choices.. mini paris / european style village..many pic oppurtunities..
Very nice, family friendly children can play. The problem is that most of the places close early. They need to add more seating outside. And the center needs more variety of places!
We love Vinos Finos. You will too.
We live going to Lafayette Village to stroll, snack and shop. Wonderful, picturesque shopping center with great specialty shops and wonderful restaurants, a coffee shop, and so much more.
Very nice place to visit..pricey shops
Lots of choices for food and shopping, super cute location!
Very cool retail area with a French colonial vibe. Too stylized with common areas, courtyards and open space to call it a strip mall. It's not. Lots of great restaurants and retail with some second story office space. Also has garage parking under the whole center.
Unique shops and cafes tastefully and quaintly presented. Definitely worth a visit.
We visited sushi one and the coffee shop. Hidden little treasure of Raleigh! Awesome feel to the entire village. Great unique shops!
Love going here .. and it's a drive for us as we live out in Clayton! My husband doesn't like going to far At All .. but he liked it so much he asked to come back & try a few other places!! We'll Definitely be heading back ASAP!!
Amazing food and services
This small shopping area resembles the streets of France. I really enjoyed the shops and food.
Excellent service there
We live Lafayette Village. All the restaurants I have tried have been great. The play area is a great for those with kids on a nice day
Love the ambiance. Great selection of stores and restaurants.
Quaint, eclectic mix of food shoppes.
An European themed shopping centre. We are so impressed. Very family friendly place to hang out
Neat little shopping center. I've never had an issue with parking. Whether your here for coffee, shopping lunch, or walking around, this is a good location to visit. There is a little something for everyone. Boutique shops with unique gifts. All of the I've tried all the restaurants and they are all food. simply Crepes, in my opinion, is the best option. Good for kids. Bands/shows on the lawn from time to time. If you live nearby I'd recommend it. Not anything special enough to make a trip to Raleigh for if you're out of town.
I attend a restaurant named Driftwood here. It's amazing! They also have other restaurants and shops. Great place to spend the evening.
It's a nice collection of restaurants all in one area. The big open field is a great place to let kids run before or after dinner. There are places to get drinks and to get dessert. It's a good choice for a family night out or a casual night out with friends. The style of the buildings and streets feels a little like an Epcot country exhibit, but maybe I'm just cynical.
Parking is painful but a good selection of restaurants
Great place to shop or grab a bite to eat. I had the pleasure of meeting Holly the property manager and she is super nice and helpful!
Great place to hang out! Several restaurants all with great food. Take the family, take the dog, sit outside with friends and enjoy the open courtyard. They often have live music and events there. So go and enjoy!
So cute! Simply crepes is amazing!
I come to Lafayette Village specifically to go to the spice shop. The ladies there are very helpful and pleasant. I go out of my way to frequent this location on occasion and I always find something new to try.
Always a pleasure!
Nice and quaint like a French village. Would really like to see more quick places to eat. Parking can be a challenge on weekends and evenings. Lots of nice shops. My favorite is the Savory Spice Shop. If you can't find a space I suggest trying the underground parking garage with a stairwell in the back leading up to the middle of the shops and restaurants.
Nice shopping center with good restaurants and unique shops.
Architecturally unique newish construct. It is a small strip mall designed in a circle with parking on the outside and a plaza in. Mostly non chain eateries. Offices upstairs and maybe some apartments. Designed to look like a small interconnected village from Normandy France. There is even a small scale replica if the Eiffel Tower fronting Falls if the Neuse Road. Would like it to feel more like France. There is a crepe place there but it was to posh for my mood when I visited.
Excellent place to hangout!!!
Nice place to walk around and check out the little shops. Good food.
Many places to eat and shop. Fun to just to walk around and explore the shops. .
One of my favorite places to go get coffee with friends or a bite to eat. Architecture is designed to take you to France and Europe with the open air street Mall feel with lots of outdoor dining and outdoor seating for you and your family. There is also an underground parking structure and a mini Eifel Tower. String lights overhead for great ambient light and an outdoor seating area with a fireplace to relax. Lots of businesses here in this tiny village. Whether you want a workout, catch the game, have dinner, or shop, this is really a cool place in Raleigh.
Nice shopping experience
Great specialty shops.
Great place for food. Lots of different restaurants
Pricey but good food to be had.
Super cute place.
Crafted is great and getting better every week. He always has great new beer choices. You even order food in. Kirk makes the place perfect
It's always a pleasure to visit Lafayette Village. Shopping at Oxford Green is always a plus. I highly recommend Lunch and Dinner at any of the fine restaurants. It's defiantly family atmosphere ♥️
My visit is only to Vinos Finos. It appears that there is something fore everyone at La Fayette Village. Parking spaces are limited at ground level. But the underground parking is always an option.
LV is a neat place to go to for a different change of pace and scenery. There’s about one or two shops that are worth checking out but have never been to an actual restaurant here.
Cool concept, glad you all set up shop in North Raleigh
Such a cute place with a lot of shops.
Really cute village. It reminds me of Europe. I love the atmosphere and the little shops. We ate dinner outside and it was a nice experience. Kids and dogs playing in the courtyard.
Fun place, lots of food options (you can have drinks, dinner, coffee, dessert, etc., all in one place), great coffee at jubala, great noodle shop, fun for sitting outside and people watching, great place for young families with kids (kids are always outside playing in the green), great place for adults too, and date night! Very dog friendly. The only down side is the parking, it can get really crowded (hint: park underneath). We go here frequently!
Love this place. So many venues to choose from. Outdoor seating and nice area for kids to play although a little more grass wouldn't hurt!
Very fine place with nice restaurants.
Such a cool concept this place. The Shoppes and restaurants here are awesome.
It's fun to come here and check out the various shops. Especially if you're doing the wine walk. Really great restaurants if not a little pricey!
This place is da bomb. I took my Mom and she loved it. It feels very French. The selection of shops and restaurants are very posh. It's fun though, even if you don't have a lot of money to spend. One of the stores, is full of home decor that has funny quotes and mottoes. We "lol-ed". I can't wait to take my tween granddaughters and get pictures under the "fun-sized" Eiffel tower.
Neat place with various restaurants ..cool date nite at farinas
Worth the drive from Charlotte for my son's 10th birthday.
One of my favorite places
Needs more parking
Like this little "Parisian" atmosphere, perfect for date night!
This is such a great place but parking is the pits. It's free but too few spots.
I want to give them 5 stars because I really like this place. I get the same waitress "Chloe" ever time and she is amazing. But they used to have a pork chop dish that was amazing and they stopped serving it. I have tried several other things since and they just aren't the same. But did I mention how great Chloe is, she is really great. Please bring back the Pork Chops
A great place to enjoy friends and food and people watch.
Cute little area. Great for an afternoon and yummy food options
Nice options but less options for vegetarians
Great little shopping and dining area. The old Paris style decor and layout is very unique and quirky. A great selection of restaurants and shops.
This is a wonderful place to shop, eat, and grab coffee. They have family friendly events such as BBQ contests and SPCA adoption. Great coffee shop - Jubala. I know the owner and it was started as a social justice movement.
A neat spot I stumbled upon just looking for a cup of local coffee. It has something to offer everyone of all ages. I suggest you check it out if you want beer, coffee, candy, butcher shop, or some lunch/dinner. I didnt event get a chance to check it all out. They were also doing some cool community things for Christmas. Parking is a little nuts but I understand there was an event going on.
Interesting place, pleasant to shop in.
Super cute area. Try out Jubala. Not a great selection of shops to walk into, but plenty of nice benches to stop and talk.
Great dining area in North Raleigh!
Went for the French Market festival around 2:30 pm. There was hardly anything still going on. They ran out of crawfish and stopped playing music when I started walking around. However I was able to take my dog so at least she got some energy out.
Didn’t get to see much of the whole place, but it looked very nice with the hanging lights, architecture, etc. Hard to find a parking spot on a Friday night, though.
Great place to take a walk and spend an afternoon. And then grab something to eat with all the restaurants especially simply crepes.
Very good service great
Super cute place! Not many shops, but lots of food options.
Great shops. Horrible parking. Public walk areas Really need repair work.
Super cute shopping center with unique shops and restaurants. Love the boutiques and food choices here. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's a lot of fun to shop and eat here with family, a girl's day/night out, or just to treat yourself.
I Love this place! It has a quaint, romantic, Parisian feel. Great restaurant choices. Lot's of little shops to browse. A great place to walk and talk.
Fairly disappointing. Ate at Simply Crepes. Crepe options were off. Ordered soup and salad instead. The salad was quite good but the onio soup was very bland. Restaurant does not serve BREAD! Not very French at all.
Visited Lafayette Grill in Lafayette village for a friend's birthday dinner. Apart from the birthday celebration, the second most eye catching thing for me was the staff.. Maybe it's the personality of the particular male waiter who toke our orders, was extraordinary. When I visite a high end restaurant, I look our for 3 things. The place, design decorations, 2. The staff or the treatment who get once you walk in through the door and 3. The food. In this case, Lafayette Grill checked out the whole 3 items and made the birthday dinner great. The place was warm and beautiful, we where seated by this beautiful fireplace, the food was great and the staff was more than professional and warm. We later toke a stroll outside for some pictures and also to take in the romantic beauty of the environment. Even though it was close to the road to led into Capital Blvd, Lafayette Village was located in a world of its own...
Very family friendly and a nice
Sadly the #/ships stores & restaurants continue to dwindle. What used to be a wonderful venue to shop and grab something to eat is in rapid decline. I hope it can be corri, but the last two years have not been kind.
Lafayette square is a great place for a quick getaway. There's a nice variety of restaurants, from Asian to Italian, it's overall a good place for a date night.
Such a cute shopping center. Loved the Oktoberfest event. Has very limited parking.
Loved it! Great service
They provide with a good selection of restaurants, all of them very good! Highly recommend it!
SIMPLY CREPES, Restaurant, food was good, not great, nice setting, cozy, personable atmosphere. Great setting for dating, & conversation
Great family places
Some shops I love others are Meh or overpriced. It's a really cool center though and neat events. I think anyone could find something to love about this place.
They had cheap gas and good food
Amazing kool place....reminds me of Italy bistro styles...a must see and try
Best meatloaf I've ever tasted. Just wish they kept the brown gravy that was originally on the meatloaf. I will still come here more than once a week. They are that good!!!!
Has that Parisian-european vibe and if you like a place that isnt too crowded with quiant little shops and instagammable view this is for you.
Nice variety of shops. Open area for kids to run around and ooudoor concerts and such.
Good selection of restaurants and cafes. Family friendly.
Love, love this place. Feels like you're in a little European neighborhood. I do think that for a place like this they absolutely have to keep every stone, shutter, outside seating, etc. In perfect condition. Otherwise the ambiance will go downhill fast.
We waited over an hour to be seated and atleast 45 min for food after we orded but it was an AMAZING breakfast. I had the chicken cordon bleu crepe
A fun area with great shops and restaurants.Worth a visit.
This is a great place to walk around, dine, do a little shopping, or find delicious chocolate. We love Simply Crepes, and going in the evening when the lights are on you don't feel like you're in Raleigh. It's a great romantic date night. We always say we're going to the Vinos Finos but haven't made it yet, we like Farina, and the Village Grill. Theres alot to like out here!
Fun little shopping center!! There is a large grassy area to let kids run while the moms drink a glass of wine and chat! There is a great crepes restaurant on the corner as well!
Love this cozy area to shop around at.
Nice shopping center with good restaurants
Very cute village reminiscent of Italy. Lots of eateries, and diversified shops. Has a Chocolate shop that can't be beat. You'll enjoy a quaint stroll sipping a cup of coffee, or go into one of the cafe's for a drink. Enjoy!
Nice out doors mall. However not very handicapped accessible. The Italian restaurant is wonderful! Food flavorful and served in great time. The biggest drawback as I said this place isn't very handicapped accessible which is a BIG negitave for me!
This is a neat place to stroll through on a cool summer or fall evening. They have some entertainment but is generally on the weekend. A lot of neat shops, places to eat and shop; however, it is geared more toward "nightlife" ambiance.
Lovely to watch the kids play in the open green space. Consistently high quality of merchant/restaurant.
Awesome event great food music and Weiner dog races
If you are turned on by European sidewalk style boutiques, then you'll want to patronize the shoppes here. Definitely has uppercrust ambience and prices to keep away the riff-raff. Your 7 series beamer will be parked amongst equivalent upscale automobiles. I parked my '96 Isuzu at the outer fringe of the car park, not entirely from embarrassment, but because I felt I needed to walk the extra steps in order give me time to mentally transport myself to L'Avenue Montaigne. Class envy aside, it really does have some nice classy shops and quality eateries.
It's better than a strip mall or shopping mall. More unique and specialty shops, like a spice shop and a chocolate shop. Restaurant. Events. Parking can be a pain. Many of the boutiques seem to come and go, rent is probably too high and traffic too low. Nice place to walk around. Would love more window shopping and shoes.
Great night at Simply Crepes!
Very nice for playing with kids
A really nice little shopping/ eating area
Nice to find a good meal or browse around. Parking is sometimes hard to find on the street level but they have a nice ungrounded parking area.
Cool experience!
This shopping / leisure area has a really nice atmosphere. I loved seeing people out with their kids and their dogs. There is an old world and community centered feel about the place. I could spend a whole day here.
Spice shop is very very resourceful
Great shopping without the hustle and bustle of other shopping districts in Raleigh.
Great wine list. Food portions are large. Keith is the best!
Father's day lunch was wonderful. Great food and service. Thank you so much!!!
Love Lafayette Village, great place to find unique gifts from spices, chocolate or local products.
Simply Crepes, so good.
Quaint with cute shops, great restaurants and a wonderful coffee shop.
Take pictures in this little village
Gluten free treats!
Such beautiful scenery. And perfect little shots. Just dreamy. Would love to see them expand.
Beautiful place, excellent food and service
Great shopping, great restaurants; a nice place to visit.
Love this place lots of things to do
Went here for st pats day. Had a great time.good atmosphere and loved the live music on the green. Very cute place to walk around and check out some cute stores and restaurants.
Discovered Lafayette Village for the first time last week and I'm really impressed. It was a bit tucked away but definitely a nice spot to spend some time. It has plenty restaurants to sample and different stores to check out. The French theme is well executed too. I definitely recommend
Great place to get some dinner and enjoy some local shopping!
There are many restaurants to choose from here. It's also good for a nice outdoor walk and playing Pokemon Go.
Great for lunch, dinner, coffee. Needs more parking.
Like going to a French city. At least that's what it feels like to a person who is never been to France, but you get the point. This place is beautiful and a great place to spend a Sunday or any day.
The simply creps restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended!
Very nice outdoor shopping village.
So many wonderful shops!
Best sushi in town
Nice place with many choices
Cute, different shopping place. Nice places to eat.
Pulled pork bbq sandwich, with slaw, and pickle. And a cold beer.
Nice place we didn't even know existed.
There are a bunch of shops here including restaurants and juice bars as well as coffee places... The open courtyard is pretty nice here sitting outside and enjoying food and drinks.. plenty of seating and set up for easy talking to other people.. the only place I didn't exactly care for was the beer place... Don't remember what it's called but the person running it isn't friend at all... Went there twice to be sure.. cheers!
Very cute place, lots of restaurants! I have to go back to check the other restaurants.
Perfect coffee every time and great service with the smile! Oh, and they remember your name plus no lead on my cup, superb! Love them!
Very cute place has some places to eat, nail salon, juice place and many other great shops
Cute place, love the chocolate shop!
Wide variety of food types and beverages.
This small shopping area resembles the streets of France. I really enjoyed the shops and food. All the shops have great customer service and there are gems to be found...Crepes, Wine and Cheese shops!!!
A European themed shopping village with a nice selection of different retail establishments. This includes restaurants, shops, and a nice open green space that will have events throughout the year. There is a great Italian restaurant, a crepe restaurant, and a smoothie shop among others. There is also available underground parking that makes every store easily accessible.
