We absolutely love this mall!!! Most of the malls in ENC seem to be dieing off, arnt well maintained, and pale in comparison to this mall. So many stores to shop in, plenty of food options with ample seating, and they are open when most close. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We even had to ask the mall security for some help, and they did more than what we needed. Awsome place to go!

Went here for the first time in years. I grew up in Winston, and this mall is just not the same. It’s sad what online stores have done to brick and mortar stores, especially gargantuan stores like this mall. I counted four stores that were totally empty and boarded up outside of Build a Bear, which was the reason we went to the mall. The mall used to be a place we were go and hang out in high school, and it was a place where I could always count on seeing somebody. But it’s just not the same.

Lots of traditional mall stores. Directories are very helpful and easy to navigate. A good bit of empty stores here lately.

This is a rather large mall with multiple shops to browse. They do have a small food court and also a kids area, though the kids area is in a different area of the mall. They have some of the typical mall stores (belk, jcpenney) and some that aren't as common too. It is a nice place to stop and spend the day. There are two kids areas per say, there's the little kids area (pictured) with slides, climbables, and big things all enclosed in a little seated area. There's a "bigger" kids area in the other half of the mall with a bungee jump zone, carousel, and rideable train. The "bigger kid" area you do have to pay to use the stuff though.

WOW! What an amazing place. The mall has a wonderful variety of stores. The food court is so cool!! They've got the tables all around so that you can look down, if you wanted to while you were eating. The layout of the mall is very unique, to say in the least. We did some shopping, and found some great bargains! I would love to go back when we have more time for walking around.

Had everything in there. People at stores I went to were very nice. Had a escalators and elevator so if you are in a wheelchair you can get to both levels no problem. I had fun and spent alot of money.. lol

LOVE this mall!!! There are so many of the stores I love to shop at that I can't stay away. Even restrooms are easy to find. Whatever you might need, there's a specialty store you will fall in love with and when you get the munchies...believe me their food court is one of the best!

The mall is very clean. The store layouts are very easy to navigate. The food court offers a pretty good variety of food. There are strollers for rent if you need one. This is one of the best mall's I have ever been to. There also is pretty good security which is always reassuring. My kids love shoping here and it's always just makes for a fun family day.

Went to three stores and experienced rude employees at all three. Went to justice, JCPenney's, and Auntie Annies. On a positive note, the staff at a trampoline bouncy thing were really nice to my children.

I'm always amazed at how many stores are in Hanes Mall. It's a great place to get your shopping done, even in the age of the internet. There's easy access to the mall from several major roads, and the mall is in good repair. Definitely recommend if you're a hands-on type of shopper!

Great mall! Super Huge with a lot of stores and a bunch of restaurants. The location is perfect is it's right off of the highway and it's in a good area. There are multiple shopping centers and restaurants surrounding the mall, so if you can't find what you're looking for here you probably won't have to go much further to find it.

Hanes Mall is pretty typical average mall. They have most of the stores you would expect. Seemed clean, plenty of parking, lots of entrances, plenty of areas to rest while shopping and the people I interacted with from the stores to the kiosks to the food court, were all friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the signage and the maps. Both were particularly confusing. Most malls have very clear signage and the "you are here" maps easier to decipher.

Well, there aren't many malls left, so that makes this one one of the best! In all seriousness, since CBL let Oak Hollow die, this is your choice unless you want to haul out to Four Seasons. Hanes has had some sad days where it looked like all might be lost, but thus far the mall has adapted through every downturn, genuinely marking it as an evolved entity. You can still find most of the anchor stores you're familiar with, a full food court and play places for your littles (highest value for me right now, haha). I am happy to see this place continue to flourish.

Hanes mall is really pretty big...but easy to navigate. A lot of stores and they do a great job keeping the empty stores to a minimum. The mall is clean and well managed. I was there on a weekday evening and didn't have any issues...no crowds...and parking was easy.

Decent Mall. Very clean. Nice stores. Mostly cluttered with unparented teenagers as the evening progresses. Two stories. Very convenient and easy to find. Great parking though LOTS of traffic and people unaware of what to do at intersections.

The place is humongous. It has Macy's, Sears .... Even spectrum and a giant food court and even places for kids to play. Things are not too expensive for the most part. It's easy to get lost, remember the place where you parked your vehicle and you might need to go through stores to get to the other side. All in all, it's biggest in Winston Salem and offers nice selection of stuff.

My son and I went to Hanes Mall to look for hobby shop. We did not know the hobby shops do no longer assist. Hanes Mall was clean and people where nice. We had a nice trip to Winston-Salem

This mall is very nice inside, lots of stores, and good customer traffic. Friendly sales associates. Considering how many malls have closed, it is nice to see a mall with a high occupancy rate. The location is really nice and traffic doesn't seem to be a problem there.

They have many different varieties of places to visit, and very soon Dave and Busters will be a new addition to the already huge shopping mall. If you come to Winston Salem and you need to get some clothes or maybe some jewelry, or maybe to just come and get a bite to eat, you should stop by and visit here.

Went shopping at Kohl's. One of my favorite stores that I often don't get a chance to go. But always hit the jackpot with the sales of name brand quality merchandise & cashiers are super. It's hard to find help on the floor, especially if you're on limited time, but they do have the scan setups if you just want to check a price.

Great mall! Has a store for everyone! Seems to always be updating with new awesome stores. Has a barbershop, nail salon, and even a UPS inside. Plenty of parking, great selection of food. This mall does get super busy on the weekend. Definitely recommend to check it out and shop here!

Hanes Mall is nice and is always changing and adding new stores. The mall is well kept. It's a huge mall, so be sure to bring your comfy shoes. I think it's a full mile round trip. Always remember there are 2 sides, you have to cut through JCPenny's.

The interior is alright as malls go, plenty if places to shop and eat as you'd expect. The problem I have with this mall is the exterior. It's appearance is unkempt and unadorned and the parking lot is in disrepair.

Used to be a place to go and take the kids to shop. The place needs an enforced dress code. People needs their pants around their waist and girls need to be properly covered. The sad part is I am referring to girls and guys in their early teens. Which means there is a parental problem. This is a family atmosphere and have the time it looks like a trip to the night club.

In times like this i think shoppers need all the protection they can get. As financially stable as Hanes Mall is we as shoppers, need to see more police protection as possible. Hanes Mall is not exempt from what we have seen happening around the world(gun violence). When police are present offenders think twice. Hanes Mall has a good name, so let us do everything humanly possible to keep it that way.

Hanes mall has a wide variety of stores and resturants, kiosk businesses, but also a lot of empty stores. But I am sure you can find something for everyone hear. I just went to one of the resturants today. I wish I had had the time to spend going through the mall. This is an all day visit for me when I go. But I do love to go I just wish the stores like Sears, and some of the others hadn't closed.

Most Malls are dead in 2019, this mall is the exception. Most of the store spaces are occupied. They are getting a Dave and Busters in the spring! The place is well lit modern and it feels safe.

I would say very good mall for Greensboro. You can find most of the things you need here. Then Environment is good. Maps and shops are marked properly. It is very easy to navigate, which save your time and you can in and out very easily. They have decent parking space and you get parking very easily.

We where heading home from west Jefferson and decided to stop at Hanes Mall to eat supper, it had been years sence we had been in there. Our daughter spent many many months in Forsythe hospital and we had eaten there daily years ago and had enjoyed many hours in there. I would walk over there to get her and the nurses cinnabons every other day right inside the front entrance so it was really bringing back some fond memories just pulling in. As we parked I realized time has really changed that place. The parking lot right in front looks like the landfill entrance, its nasty with trash everywhere So we get parked and started walking in and the language we where hearing all over the sidewalk was like being in Baltimore or Chicago somewhere . I understand why people are buying online now and if its nasty everywhere out there I'm sure the food court is most likely the same so we got right back in the car and drove out of town to eat supper. It's a shame such a nice facility has went down so bad.

Going on Sunday wasn't a good idea. So many people there. I hadn't been to the mall in 2 years and I couldn't find any of the shops I wanted. They use to have the directory placed everywhere. They have every store, but it is just best to walk the whole mall. Going to 3 stores that was on each end of mall and the last store go back to the second level. I was definately thinking I could've done this online. I might try and go on a Monday at 10am and it not be so hectic.

Not as nice as it once was. Typical mall these days. The good: there's plenty of parking and no crowds. The bad: like many retailers, this place is struggling to compete against Amazon. Many vendors are no longer present. Prices aren't competitive unless you hunt for sales and clearance. Oh. It's also one of the most accessible post offices on this side of Winston.

Mall experience was good overall. Children's play area near the now closed Sears spot needs cleaning. Carpet is worn and dirty. Sanitizer dispenser was enpty.

Went to belks, stayed for hours looking for shoes, dresses and raincoat. Found only raincoat. I didn't like anything else I think it was just to cluttered up. Hard to find anything on racks it was so packed. Made it impossible to shop. Very flustered to keep looking. They didn't have any size 5 or 5 1/2 sizes for ladies shoes or boots. Dress were large and tent made to look sloppy. Not pleased. They need a new buyer. They need more clothing with STYLE. Not such ugly and depressing looks.

Have shopped here most of my life. The teen curfew has definitely made it more enjoyable shopping on the weekends. Some groups got way out of hand for a few years but they've worked hard to make it more family friendly.

I was looking for Spectrum store. It seemed everytime I asked Mall employees. I was sent on a wild goose chase. Mall employees are not friendly or helpful. I use to got to Hanes Mall in the 80's It was wonderful. It always had kind employees. But, I guess that's a time gone by.

Businesses are leaving and constantly moving around to the point it's just not that good to go anymore. Still very anti-gun, they refuse to accept fun owners rights but it's obviously ignored and I'm glad it is. They have next to no security there, flashlight cops with no guns can't protect anyone. The bathroom needs some serious repair, the hinges on the first stall are broken and gapped so people can see you do your business. Management is a joke, I complained about Spencer's selling sex toys and BDSM items openly where children can see them and their justification was that their employees keep the kids out. Bullshit+, I've been in that store many times over the years killing time and young kids and teens looking at them making comments. It's disgusting and immoral, I haven't spent another dime in Spencer's in years and barely buy anything at this mall. Tried to rent a place that was 8 x 10, the owner wanted 1500 a month for it, no wonder their prices are high on everything.

Since we live relatively close to this mall we frequent it often. It makes a great place to take kids when the weather isn’t great to be outside in. They really enjoy the two indoor play areas as well as the train and carousel. The play areas are free and the train and carousel are reasonably priced. And these items are incidental to all the stores to shop in. The food court is pretty good but some of the better restaurants are in the mall parking lot. It is also easy to get in and out of this place and back on I-40.
