Dead mall vibes found here for sure! This is an odd shopping center, it seems fairly clean and kept up. However, 1/2 to 1/3 of the storefronts are vacant. I took a quick walk through here on a weekday morning and things were fairly quiet. It’s all on one floor and easy enough to get around. This seems to be a popular spot for senior mall walkers and moms with strollers. There are still a couple of anchor stores like JC Penny, Belk and another department store. The mall does have a food court with some decent offerings and even an ice cream spot. There are some random spots in the mall like a virtual reality arena, a dance studio and other oddities. I did spot an eyebrow threading spot and a nail salon, so those should come in handy down the road. Kind of a surreal place. When I see a mall with this many empty shops it’s usually much more decrepit.

During the time I was here it was not crowded (it was early Friday afternoon). There was a decent selection of stores, but there are alot of empty store areas inside.

This mall is just slowly closing. So sad to those who grew up in the area and remember all of the years of going to this mall. The kids play area is nice, but isn’t kept clean like it should be. The mall is always hot now, genuinely feels like they’ve turned the AC off (except in stores). The mall food court does have quite a bit to offer and all seems quite good, except for Chinese location. I go here at least twice a week!

Not the biggest or best mall in the area. It has lost several anchor stores and they seem to have a hard time getting the empty spaces filled with new stores. I do like the major department stores that are there. Plenty of parking with a decent food court. Clean and bright.

I came here to come to Hot Topic since Crabtree Mall didn't have one. This, well I guess you could call it a mall also, was very quaint and low key. It didn't have the largest varieties of stores but it had enough for a fun time to walk around the mall. It a very large area for parents to bring kids and let them play. I'd highly suggest this mall if you're looking for something low key and fun.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. In the 90s, this was the mall to hang out at in the Triangle. Now half the mall is empty. Half of the remaining businesses are not traditional mall business but things like doctor's offices or fitness fads. A lot of shops close at 5 pm on the weekdays! Food court was great. Super clean. But it was a nearly abandoned when I visited.

A thirty year old mall decaying in the age of online shopping. Some nice stores remain, but they have mall pricing. Probably 20% of the place is vacant. Food court is still active and has cheap eats if you shop the specials. Several restaurants nearby and tons more shopping a mile down the road.

Very sad. I am a Cary native and remember CTC back from the start - even the old Oak tree. I know nothing lasts forever, but wow. So many closed up storefronts and just dejected stores appearing to barely hang on. Without Dave & Buster's - who knows if CTC could even still make it. So sad to see it so low.

OMG, what happened to this place? This was my hangout place in the 90's....Where are all the stores? New constructions around the entire mall, parking is awful, barely any stores left....Its a shame what they did to this place. Location is very good, could be so much better. I hope they rejuvenate this mall somehow and soon.

Not a bad mall, if you're looking for a place that's not to busy or crowded this is your mall. A lot of stores seem to come and go but this is usually the mall I perfer in the area.

My mall experience was limited to JC Penney. The purpose of my trip was to pick up an online purchase. Though I was pleasantly surprised with their 70% off department. Was able to purchase several items at drastically reduced prices for next spring & summer wardrobes.

It's just sad.... the mall as a whole is a 2 but the train for the kids a 5. The Mexican restaurant was rude and food was cold after waiting 20+ min. There are so many empty spots. Sad...

I went to The Walking Company which is my favorite store to purchase shoes. The store was having a great sale on ABEO shoes. The employees were really friendly and helped me with my shoe purchase. I cannot say enough good things about this store.

I like Malls! I like getting out of the cold or the heat an doing my shopping. While on occasion I would shop at Cameron Village I preferred Cary Town Center. My children sat on Santa'sand the Easter Bunnies lap here. My weekends were spent here shopping with my kids. There were crowds of people from all over the area. My children worked here at the mall, met friends here and brought their dates here. And now it's all gone for the most part. Is there any way to bring it back. I personally hate having to go all the way to Morrisville to go to Chicos and Soma...as a matter of fact since they left this mall what was once weekly visits became maybe once a year. Not because I don't like their clothes but because I don't want to drive all the way out there! I would love nothing more than to see it make a comeback!

I love this mall. It’s never busy and there is always a store having a going out of business sale. It’s sad to think that it will likely close sooner than later. The staff and security here is very friendly and professional. I always have a good time with the family at this mall. They have a lot of fun activities like the indoor train and the giant bungee bounce. A great time for sure!

Cary Towne Center used to be the big place to go. Not going to lie, some stores are great to go to, but a lot of parts of the mall have areas that are unoccupied. Stores like Sears, and Dillards have gone out of business. I go there at times, but seeing some parts of the mall empty makes me feel uneasy.

Say what you want about this mall, but it's still standing. It's very convenient to work and home, it has a decent selection for food, and there are still stores to visit. I also don't have to fight for parking. That's my biggest peeve about going to other malls - they're too big and overcrowded.

This mall has really become a huge disappointment. Has 1/3 of the spots available. Existing stores are not that great as well. There really is no reason to visit this mall. It truly needs an overhaul. Real shame that this is what Cary has to offer.

It’s a small mall where you can find Belk and Dillard’s. Correct food court based on pizza/pasta, Chinese/Japanese, Mexican and American food. There is a huge game play that gets crowded, and also there is a virtual game play store. I’m missing Target, Macy’s and Zara there.

I've been coming to this mall all my life, even worked there in one of the shops for a bit. It's a nice mall. Well maintained, plenty of shops, decent food court. The staff at the service desk have always treated me well when I needed their help.

This mall is quite old and could use a face lift both inside and out. The anchor stores are Belks (which is very nice) and Dillard's. I only go there for the Belks store. There is also a Talbot's but it's small.

I like shopping here because it has a good variety of stores & is not a "zoo." It is easy to park near one of the many entrances. I especially like it when I am visiting only 1 or just a few stores and have a short time available for shopping.

Its pretty good. Its a nice place to go after school for the food court, and is decently clean. But most people choose to go to the surrounding malls instead because the Towne center is smaller than most other malls. But its good for a quick stop at a couple shops and leave. Over all I like it

Vision works in Cary NC is the best place for glasses, the man that helped me was Tony .D. and he was Very patient and helpful. I'm a very indecisive person and I struggle with anxiety so making the right decisions can be very hard for me at times. He was so patient and understood I was having a hard time making my decision He was so helpful he had so many pairs of glasses pulled and was giving me feedback on how my glasses look and yes if he didn't think they were right for me he told me so and that helped me eliminate a lot of them . Love his Honesty and help it was much needed.Thank you Tony .D.

WORST BATHROOMS IN CARY. They smell like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Went to two different ones and on two different trips. Smelled worse than you are thinking right now. Very few shops still open. Dont waste your time. There are much better shopping centers in the area.

Great place to walk in the air conditioning. Stores are vanishing quickly and hopefully the new ownership has a plan to rejeuvenate the property. I live on the street next to the mall, so I am here frequently as a mall walker, especially when the weather is bad.

It's a shame that this once great mall has deteriorated to an almost deserted one with the final anchor store Dillard's, now closing as eell. Shopped there for many years when Sears, Macy's , J.C. Penny and Belks drew in thousands. Very sad.

Great place. The atmosphere on Sunday afternoon was great. My toddler enjoyed playing the games so much he didn't want to leave. We saw another toddler crying because it was time for his family to leave also. Enjoyed this Dave and Buster's a lot. We will absolutely come back. I did not try any of the food.

I used to like the place much more but nowadays I only go for the Little Tokyo hot spicy tofu. The stores are closing and leaving so, my only motivation is the food and once Little Tokyo leaves, I won't have a reason to go... or maybe I could try the Philly Cheese Steak place.

Mall seems to be on its last legs. Sears is gone and JCPenney is closing soon. Probably 30% occupied. If you are looking for an inside environment to walk in without people getting in your way, this is your place though. Sure it will get torn down and replaced with a mixed use living space. It has a prime location not far from I-40 and Hwy 1.

It used to be a thriving mall, but now it's just dying. I've heard rumors since last year that they're shutting it down or demolishing it. I've never been in a shopping mall with more closed or vacant retail spaces than this one.

I enjoy shopping here and despite stores closing down left and right, I have done so for years. I have always enjoyed eating in the food court but I saw a huge decline in the cleanliness while dining there today after not being there for a few months. I observed roaches crawling on the floor in the food court as well as several on the trash can. I am serious about sanitation scores and this has put a screeching halt to my family and I eating in the food court from now on.
