There's no place like Birkdale Village in Huntersville. We arrived at about 9:00 AM. Great outdoor eateries! Excellent food! So many restaurants and shops. Live entertainment indoors and outside. Plenty for kids to enjoy. Parking garages makes it easy to find parking spots. We spent an entire, wonderful day here. Still didn't see everything. Loved it! Wow! We will be back!

Nice outdoor mall with lots of good shops. It can be a little pricey and parking is not always as convenient as one might like to see. The food choices are decent, especially the barbecue. Walking with kids can be tricky along certain streets so keep your hands on the little ones.

As a new resident, I LOVE BIRKDALE. The apartments are well made and it is very quiet on the side streets but if you want activity and noise just take a short walk! Lovely.

Such a great place to meet up with friends, grab some Starbucks and walk around. Little shops with apartments above them. Such a cozy little area and so much to do here. There is a movie theatre, clothing stores, a book store, restaurants and even a little Greenway trail that goes by the water.

I have spent tons of time in Birkdale village. It is a great place to go for a stroll, take the kids to watch music on the weekends, see some pretty cool events, etc. The night life is also pretty great here as you have lots of options from more sophisticated wine bars to your young to middle aged crowded bars. Lots of cool people hang out here day and night and you have a large selection of some finer dining restaurants here as well. Everything from italian to Asian to American cuisines can be found here. Safe place to bring your family for a day outting. They also have a movie theater here!

This is a nice shopping center with tons of options that pretty much cater to the immediate surrounding area. I live about 12-15 minutes away, but I enjoy the variety of stores, specialty shops and restaurants...and even a movie theater. What I don't enjoy is the parking. This center is built around living spaces (residential development and apartments. That combined with the limited parking can be frustrating at times. I just find that I generally take the first space available and then enjoy a nice stroll as I walk to my destination.

Expect an experience like none other in Mecklenburg County. Birkdale Village is a safe, peaceful place for all. There are numerous restaurants with a variety of menus. After a delicious meal, take a stroll through the town and visit the great shops or take in a movie at the local theater. Birkdale Village has something for everyone. I try to visit as often as possible.

Been going here for years. So plastic and uncomfortable. I wouldn't go here to relax unless you're most comfortable wearing a polite mask. This location would be better if it integrated a wider variety attractions that catered to more than just one culture. But that may be asking a little much for the area which itself is as diverse as a bag of rice.

Birkdale Village is a great place to live, shop and go out to eat or drink. You will also be surprised that there are some smaller businesses in this complex. The entire complex is laid out in a very alinear fashion which is cool. You will find that it can be a little bit overrun at times.

Too many empty shops and the restaurant choices are very dated. Needs an updating and could be a lot less cookie cutter. Almost nothing for men here as far as recreation and clothing. The park near bye is literally a sewer, so that's a big bummer too. I like the outdoor shopping concept just needs a lot of TLC and Diversity. Maybe less corporate cookie cutter and more local fair?

My husband and I enjoyed date night at Birkdale. There are so many restaurant choices as well as places to enjoy shopping or relaxing and people watching. I'd say it's a great staycation for those in the Charlotte, NC city limits who want to escape, yet have evrything they want in close proximity.

In standard Avengers End Game, in theater 10, the back wall and seats were extremely dusty, the volume was too low and lines for popcorn and drink were way too long. But, staff was super friendly, that's why I rated 3 out of 5.

I live here and couldn't be more happy. They have it all from shopping to dining, hair care to dental, chiropractor to fitness centers. There is a green way that connects, multiple ice cream shops, a theater, and clean sidewalks for a stroll. If you've never been check it out. Parking can be a bit hard to come by on busy shopping holidays, but everything is within walking distance.

My husband and I are looking for a new apartment for this coming spring before we purchase our first home. We stopped by for a tour and ended up working with Hagen, who was such a joy! She gave us all sorts of different options, showed us the amenities as well as one of the two bedroom apartments in the Victoria Secret building. We were both so impressed with the variety of apartments that Birkdale has to offer, as well as the top notch customer service. We will definitely be renting there in May!

It's a nice place to walk around, there's a lot of different shops and places to eat. There's also out door benches and a fountain for kids to play in. On the negative side, it tends to be a pricier area. The grass in the "park" areas have also been replaced recently with astro turf, which in my opinion seems very tacky and not very environmentally conscious.

If I would live at Huntersville this is the place where could it.be possible. I lo e the way this tiny piece of town were Designed, it's like being at another place far away. Birkdale is definately one of the better examples of the new trend of making shopping centers look like small towns. Lots of trees and has a unique touch. Less generic looking than most others. Aesthetically, it's very nice. Variety of restaurants, tho many are expensive. Great spot for someone looking to window shop. A lot of the shops are small but look on the expensive side. Movie theatre as well. Great walkability for the surrounding neighborhoods. However, the parking and traffic situation for the vast majority that don't or can't walk here is a nightmare sometimes, so give yourself ample time to park.
