This center has been around forever. So many memories made here with my mom. J.M. Fields, Gallant Belk, shopping. Now with Hamricks, Catherine's, Cici's Pizza, building has held up extremely well. Remember the area where the Christmas Tree was placed right in the center of the parking lot. With seating, so people could sit and enjoy the lights while drinking their hot chocolate.

Lot of traffic and people parking all over the place. People taking handicap spots that don't need them because they have a sense of intitlement. Parking right in front of the doors forcing Food lion to put up permanent no parking cones 10 feet away from store. Leave the handicap spots for people that really them, or keep parking there and wait for the karma to come around and make you handicapped.

Nice clean shopping center. I visit this shopping center quite often, from OLD Navy, Marshall's, Petsmart, World Market, Michael's and other stores. I feel safe shopping in this plaza, due to it being well lighted. Parking is great, unless everyone is having a sale

Tgis store literally has anything you can think of to go in a house. You walk through and you will more than likely find things you didnt even know you needed untill you go. Pro tip: as the prices may be good, even if you only plan on "just going in for one thing" bring extra money, just in case

I like the employees and the pharmacy staff. Handicap parking is available and it's a center with probably anything you need. A Walgreens, Harris Teeter, Great clips, vitamin shoppe and even Chinese food. That's just what I can think of but there is more. It's well lit and I always feel safe there.

If you haven't been, it's worth a trip. Great organization/storage ideas for small spaces at great prices but be prepared to argue with your significant other, be in line for an hour, definitely buy the cinnamon rolls, and they have their own brand of soda. Stroller is a must for small babies- a ton of walking if you are going upstairs (to look) and downstairs- buying items. Does provide childcare but I haven't been used those services. For the love of God, don't go on Saturday.

I enjoyed my time at Belgate, but I spent the majority of my time at Wal-Mart. I have been inside CATO, Rainbow (It maybe no longer be there soon though), Shoe Dept., Sally's Beauty, GoodWill, and the other stores behind Wal-Mart (like Ulta Beauty, Pet's Mart, and Ikea to name a few) within the past 5 or more years. Shopping at Belgate is more enjoyable during the week, sometimes in the evening if you have company, but please avoid during holiday season and plan accordingly on weekends.

We love this store so much that we make a point to travel over an hour and half o e way to visit at least 3-4 times per year. This extremely large store is filled with all things home decor. Set up on a track that winds through all the small specialty departments that focus on each room of the home. The prices are awesome and the displays give you dozens of ideas for how to decorate using existing items around your home. Well worth the trip. Don't forget to stop by the cafeteria for one of their delicious meals while you're there!

Humongous plaza where Ikea is the main store. I mean really.. Who doesn't like Ikea!?! Generous amounts of parking. Some tricky maneuvering regarding the small roadways from the parking lot to the main road, but other than that, it is a nice plaza.

Stores closing new open but whoever designed the parking/road system there was prob drunk or related to the QC city planner/DOT rd names...1 rd = 4 names> pretty much goes str8 across the city, why 4 names??? Ask the IKEA parking lot engineer he might know...lol

The IKEA Family Card option of a 90 days price match if the merchandise got discounted is not true specially if you are calling for the service , they always have an answering machine asking you to call late because of the up normal amount of calls they are experiencing at the time you call . Belgate shopping center includes IKEA, Old Navy, Marshals and many other stores for shopping! On the weekends around IKEA gets very crowded! There are few nice and classy restaurant in the area. And of course IKEA has their good court! I have added some pics from IKEA!

I went to ikea once....and swore I'd never go back. Once you get in there it's hard to get out! I was ready to leave and all the doors are marked "emergency exit only". I kept asking people how do you get out of here and everyone I asked pointed me in a different direction. I haven't been back since. We purchased kitchen items a month ago and were able to receive the discount (up to 90 days after purchase). The process was quick and easy, with receipt or purchase order number. GET THAT IKEA FAMILY MEMBER CARD, it's worth it!

Can spend hours shopping for home furnishings and accessories or just get great ideas for redecorating. Furniture is affordable and of good quality. Easy to get it home as it comes in pieces to be built. Have bought many pieces of put-it-together yourself furniture and still have everything and they are sturdy and have been broken down and moved and reassembled a few times and have weathered well. The instructions are easy to follow.
