This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Great place for asian foods and so on...but parking need to redone.
Love the restaurant supply and the grocery next door!! Amazed at the selection of authentic Asian items!
Great selection of Asian food
Its rare i give a bad review. This place is empty except for some nail shops and cosmetic shops. It smells bad around the area behind the market. I believe its the old fish pond that smells. The supermarket is great though i wide selection of products. Sadly the review is for rhe mall. I would give the market 5 stars. If the mall was cleaned up and restored it would be alot better for customers and vendors. Also the entire parking lot needs to be redone. Massive potholes everywhere. Drive cautiously!!
Decent place to get your Asian grocery...they use to have a very good roasted pork restaurant inside...sad to see it's gone. Parking lot is really horrible...so bad even criminals don't venture far into it cuz they can't make a fast getaway. As much money this plaza made for the owner...u think they would at least fix half the lots.
Great food at Dragon Court. Big servings.
I love this place. It just sinks as soon as u enter the store, which is a turn on for me. They have different meat that I cant find it anywhere else. Their fish also taste good.
Great parking lot for four wheeling. Why drive to the mountains when you can find awesome off road adventures right in the middle of Charlotte.
This place has really lost it's touch, they take off old due date stickers on their food and put a new one on. I had gotten home with couple "fresh" made food and it was a rotten inside and the smell was horrible.
A couple stores needed in one place very convinient
It is an experience! Great place to get hard to find ingredients. Be sure to check the expiration dates. Parking lot is like driving on the surface of the moon. Dragon court is always delicious!
Looks ghetto but the food is great .
Visited a young church starting in the mall. Restaurant in the mall was terrific and food portion was very generous. With exception of restaurant and a couple of Asian related grocers and diner supplies, there was nothing else there.
You can't judge a book by the cover. But a better cover wount hurt.
No cameras facing the parking lot. Car got hit while shoppong, bill on me.
Most authentic asian shopping center. Legitimately felt like I could get assaulted by seedy underworld yakuza at any moment.
The service was amazing Dragon Court
I go to family dollars located here the parking lot is very rough a lot of holes. You will encounter some homeless people. I have never had an issue go in buy what I need and leave.
The building is very old the parking lots are terrible.
Love this place: Dai sing, new century, truc, pho daravan etc... Shame its in a war zone. More dope deals in parking lot than at us mexico border. Go early before hoodrats descend on the family dollar.
As busy as this location is, parking lot is horrible. Excessive pot holes, the parking lot itself looks like a sink hole
Good products, very very poor parking lot, pretty dirty building. But it's the only thing around this area that'll have what you want. I've been coming here pretty much all my life and I really don't have much room to complain.
Drove one hour to the Asian corner and they were CLOSED!!! WTH. I googled what time they are open until, Google said 9pm. I got there at 7pm, and it was closed. It is so irritating, if the damn store closes early, then at least update Google. That was my time and gas money that I wasted.
Waitress was dry :-(
I wish they will clean up the property. Parking lot needs to be repave.
Good
The Dragon Court has delicious dim-sum... just don't go here after dark.
Has a lot of selections however I couldn't find lingham's hot sauce they had a lot of different items in the Asian sector though however it's very dirty and unkempt and some items are expired or close to expiration but I will still go back for the kimchi also couldn't find dried seaweed with green tea and sea salt usually one of my favorite snacks or topper for Soups
Just go for Asian groceries but you better check dates on items you will get something that expired 2 yrs ago
Very shady, it's like its unkempt. So many potholes in the parking lot.
Not as pretty
This business went from beautiful in the late 90s to dump.. not the prettiest place, but still has some great store for those looking for hard to find Asian items.
This 8s a different kind of Asian store that you can find spicy noodles to tea. Very nice and quiet service here
Always gotta get a special roast duck on every visit.
Parking lot is terrible, a lot of potholes
Place is super run down. It seems like a ghost town when you walk in. There's really nothing inside except for the dimsum/Chinese restaurant in the corner, a small Vietnamese sandwich cafe & a karate place. On the outside, there's a Asian grocery store, Vietnamese restaurant & a nail supply store. A once crowded and lively shopping area is now dead....
They jacked up prices on some items.
There is a vietnamese sandwiches behide the market. It is very good.
Great place to shop for authentic Asian cooking items. They have it all!!
This place is dead. Only 30% of the shops are still remained open for business. On a Saturday, only 40% of parking lots are filled. There is limited selections on foods to eat and shops to visit. With one Asian market whose cooler/refrigerator has broken and flies were visiting everyone, one nail shop, two Vietnamese restaurants each having few customers and one tax service, I feel so discouraged to leave my car in a parking lot full of dog wastes to explore further. Bottom line, I do not recommend this place.
Get pass the exterior and you'll appreciated the experience.
They need to fix their parking lot. It's an obstacle course.
The parking lot is dangerous. Food was delicious. Felt like I might get robbed though. Five stars
Do yourself a favor and stop eating American ramen. Mama ramen is life! The customer service hear the terrible but I never expect much.
Great place to shop. Lots of parking.
Great place. Get what you need and get out. If you're of color, you may get followed. They have a variety of foods. My son speaks Mandarin and we prefer asian dishes. Great if youre of African decent as they carry ingredients for you. Prices are just right. We always buy spicy noodles.
It's aptly named. Definitely feel like you've stepped out of Charlotte while you're there. There's Le's Bahn Mi, of course, but don't miss out on the 2 Asian grocery stores with ready to eat dim sum or a wide selection of teas and specialty items. Truc Vietnamese restaurant also worth checking out. Don't fall into a pot hole while you're there.
There is a lot of variety from all over the world, not just Asian countries and cultures. The missing stars is because they don't have Burdock Root and often the food is very old. Cookie tins are covered in dust that is super thick and even the lighter covered ones are often stale.
parking not organised store wise hard to lacate stuff
What can I say about this place. Its dirty inside and out. Parking lot looks like its in a war zone with aboit a million pot holes
Terrible parking lot. But the shops are authentic and has literally everything you need to make any imaginable ethnic dish. Our go to place for fresh produce and Vietnamese grocery. Tremendously fair prices. You just have to get mentally past the dilapidated infrastructure.
They had the items we needed, but not clean at all and the very narrow aisles make it hard to shop near anyone
Good shopping experience
Not in the safest area.
Great stop for all sorts of exotic cultural foods and items. It could use some work/cleaning, but still a great place.
The parking lot and other areas are dirty. Lots of empty spaces/stores.
The parking lot is built for a 4 wheeler.
This place is full of authentic food options, but the interior is mostly abandoned and the parking lot is an absolute mess. Be careful not to lose your car to a pothole!
Best Asian market in north Charlotte just beware the potholes in the parking lot and check expiration dates before you buy!
This is the only place I'm able to find the aloe drink and fluid size for the price paid.
They have some produce that other stores don't have so my wife makes the occasional trip here. Grass is growing in the parking lot everywhere and the shopping carts are in bad shape. The store looks like it is in a bad need of remodeling. The food inside is what's important so hopefully things will get better there.
It's ok but the place look trashie n nasty
Very organized, good deals & finds.
Was able to find the fruits and vegetables we were looking for at the International Supermarket.
I was looking for crawfish. They do not have it.
Great shopping. Every one treated me so nice. A real Go see place
Is ok
Dont let the outside scare you off
Dragon Court has great Dim Sum. There are two Asian grocery stores in this mall. An old building with some nice businesses..
Need to be more customer friendly
Banh mi and pho! Omg!! So yummy the parking lot is rough so drive slow, homie. But it’s worth it!
I can get lots of Indonesian stuff here. Unfortunately, one must look at the expiration dates on the products!
Come here weekly for some groceries. They have a wide variety of diverse selection of all international food's. UPDATE: Be cautious of certain items on shelves and to check expiration dates on everything. It will be noticeable of how old things have been sitting out by looking at the dust that has been collected on can's. I will take a drive an extra 40 minutes out to go to my next Asian market.
Great place to go if you are looking for Asian goods! I recommend the big Chinese restaurant inside. Note that the serving size is to share if you decide to go there.
Has potential to be a nice place
Ran into " Family Dollar " store. Also, got my car washed by a very nice young man.

Asian grocery stores with plenty of surprises! Le's authentic very delicious Vietnamese style sandwiches. Restaurant supply store stocked with just about everything Asian and used in a restaurant. Dish selection is amazing. More stores here at Asian Corner.
The parking lot is terrible, pot holes like crazy. I've never seen a parking lot like this.
Hope this place gets fixed up but it was fun exploring!
This place is crumbling, in poor repair, with many shuttered shops. There are some fantastic places in here, including the only Asian market I know of in the area, but the shopping center itself is a mess. Watch out for potholes.
A shopping strip you would normally find in a run down section of a third-world country. The parking lot is filled with pot holes - they truly test the shock absorbers of your car. Some unique Asian eateries are the only redeeming qualities for this location.
Your typical Asian Market: dirty, rundown, sketchy-looking place. The bathroom has a keypad lock on it now for some reason. The parking lot is mostly potholes. There was a shootout across the street recently. But pros and cons to every place I guess. It's a good for a large variety of Asian goods, freezer and packaged foods, rice, produce, fresh homemade goodies. Prices vary but generally aren't too bad. Always check the expiration date though. There's a banh mi sandwich shop in the middle that my family loves. The Family Dollar is the newest store and by far the cleanest. I've never shopped there though.
Vietnamese shopping center and best of all they have ASIAN Walmarts !! Any Asian grocery product you can imagine in a store the size of Walmarts
This is my go to spot for bahn mi they only take cash. But the sandwiches are the best.
Decent selection of Asian groceries from various countries, but the parking lot is absolutely horrendous. The omnipresent potholes are like lunar craters. I have never experienced a worse 'paved' parking lot anywhere in the US. Shame on the landlord.
Only came for dim sum at dragon court which was my first time trying it. I loved the food it seemed authentic only issue is it's not clean AT ALL. I can only imagine how this place once was, full of people and with so much life now what is left is just remnants of the past. Pretty depressing actually but definitely a place to visit if you crave dim sum.
They had the Japanese noodles I was looking for.....
Great local source for Asian groceries. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired though.
Could use a refresher
My wife loves this place
This place got some good Vietnamese restaurants. But, the atmosphere is a huge turn off.
The shops here are good, but the whole area looks like it should be condemned, and the area is so sketchy...I never go here without protection.
I have to give this place a 3 because the parking lot is jacked. The grocery store may or may not smell bad and is probably unsanitary. However, there is a quant and clean sandwich shop at the last entrance at the end of the mall. Go in, make a right, get a sandwich and bubble tea. Cash only.
Good foods but I wish they were more clean and organized
The sell most of the stuff that I need especially meat that I used to get back home, but there is a very stinky strong smell at the store especially as soon as you enter. They should try and get rid of the smell, other than that, I like it.
I agree with what many others have said. This place is unique and I really wish there can be a large enough demand for a "little china" or "chinatown" but I don't think there is. Good food and unique inside but be careful cause its so damn sketch and the potholes can damage vehicles.
It has been growing and expending. The food is relatively fresh. The price is relatively cheaper than Grand Asian Market.
Good fried rice n beef
Worst parking lot in Charlotte. Its saving grace are the stores that populate these mall. Le's Deli makes excellent Bahn Mis. Also, the two Asian markets remind me of the kind my mother used to take us too in my youth. Sometimes the shelves seem empty, but these stores are legit.
Very large store. Many hard to find items here. Friendly service.
This mall is big and has a lot of Asian influence.
I went to this place to find Chinese herbs. I found more than I bargained for! Unfortunately, they're all written in Chinese or Cantonese. And it was hard to find someone there who knew how to answer questions. This place is larger than what it appears. Phenomenal selection of fresh Asian vegetables, fresh fish and a massive variety of everything from China!
Dino's diner was a pleasant surprise, food was good. Service with a smile!
If you are looking for authentic Asian grocery store. This is your place! It's the closest you'll get from what I know.
Great place
Looks and smells bad. No one speak English
A very dilapidated place. However, it still runs because of its unique restaurants inside.
One of the most beautiful and interesting spots in Charlotte. Great grocery stores and small local restaurants.
Had a luncheon for Chinese New Year put together here and food was wonderful - Dragon Court.
OMG had 2 use the bathroom n WILL NOT GO AGAIN
This place has some of the best pastries I've ever eaten and they're healthy. They also serve as a grocery store. I highly recommend this place
Filty all. Except the restaurant.
We go there for groceries and truc. White boy married Vietnamese woman we've been there a bunch of times and I haven't had to pull my strap out yet. It shady and going to the public bathroom is scary there's poop on the walls. If you find a better place for dim sum let me know because I want to go there...
Everything is old and I couldn't find Korean food. Korea is part of Asia too. What a waste of time.
Good lord - can they fix their parking lot! Bring a high clearance vehicle.
Restaurant supply is great
The owner of the nail salon and nail supply warehouse is awesomely kind. The deals around the shopping center are great. The roads suck but it has been around for ever.
Nice place to buy fish.Fresh and lot of variety
Nothing good here.
Go here for Potato Green. They always have them. They don't speak English so sometimes it's hard to understand one another but the price is right and they always have what I need when I need it. Will continue to go there.
Best place to get anyting that's Asian
The star is because of the parking lot. Don't delay people, this is our very own little Asia, the best Pho, the best BBQ duck, the best bahn mi, the best Chinese food, all a short drive away, check them out, surprise the wife or girlfriend with the most exotic experience Charlotte had to offer. Oh, and very affordable.
I wouldn't recommend this place to any to come and shop. It's old run-down not being taken care of getto. location is at a high crime area. If you do come I highly recommend that you get what you need and leave.
SuperG mart is way better. There's 2 Asian stores here and I still can't find what I'm looking for.
A must visit for anyone in the Charlotte area.
Go to Dragon Court & Family Dollar, it's clean and organized.
Maybe lacking in the price department, this place is GREAT for exotic foods and new finds, as well as authentic Asian cuisine. Me and my girlfriend come here at least once a month for fresh mushrooms, a myriad of sauces and snacks, and to try something new every time!
It has all the Asian food you will need. Area not so nice. But over all you can get what you need here.
I got what I needed but place smells
They have the stuff that I need, but there is this strong smell as soon as you enter. It doesn't smell hygienic at all. It is probably because they have their fish station right at the door. They need to do something about it. Also, most of their employees and not friendly at all. Been going there a lot, and only one staff that has ever smiled at me and asked how I am doing.
Amazing pork buns. Customer service is keeping me from giving it 5 stars though. Its not like i expect them to treat me like a king. Just be polite at least.
Don't go to New Century Asian food groceries. It's terrible, tired, dirty unmarked prices and apathetic customer service. Go to International down the complex a bit, it's terrific. !Super fresh, Asian produce etc. ,and very clean.
I do not recommend shopping here.
This place have good Asian vegetable selection. Fish are ok as well . Only issue is the fish section is by the entrance and it always smells too. The store layout ex - (checkout area , fridge area near vegetable section ) very narrow.
A good place for chinese food
A treasure to find. Definite Asian experience and helpful if you know some of the language. Supermarket has fantastic snack selection, many Asian cultures are represented.
I live there food and they give you more then enough
Wouldn't recommend coming here with nice car, parking lot is garbage, potholes everywhere and trash flying around. High level of criminal activity in this area. Store itself has lots of variety and good prices. but has since left its glory days. Staff is neutral never had a problem with them. The place is dirty and does need a major clean up or renovation.
When I miss my hometown food from my country. Gotta come here for authentic rare foods and staffs.
Most stores are shut down. The area is very sketchy. There are however some nice individuals stores within
If you're looking for Asian groceries, restaurant supplies, nail supplies, or great bahn mi and authentic Chinese food this is the right place for it. You just need to overlook the bomb crater sized potholes and the dilapidated appearance of the building. The run down facilities mean that you don't need to pay a premium on what you're buying though, so it's worth your while.
Parking lot needs to be fixed.
Love this place. Fishy smell and parking lot is horrible but other than that, worth coming. Few people speak English though.
Too trashy but over all a good place to go shop for Asian stuff
Needs better parking lot and lighting.
For Lee's sandwich shop and Ube ice creams. Oh, you also get huge jackfruits here!
Is a big supermarket but looks like a ghost town.
Bought fish... With mom esther
Opening in 1967, the building/complex that houses the mall is an eclectic place to visit of what remains of a bygone era in Charlotte. Yes the parking lot is post apocalyptic and the mall looks seemingly abandoned yet there are still stores and restaurants thriving. Can't believe it's stayed open so long despite it looking the very definition of busted yet will miss it when its gone.
Another interesting place
Mall is old and parking lot is bad but once you get inside to where you are going doesn't matter as much.
Great place to see new cultures and meet new ppls. Great places to eat at The Asian Corner. Awesome places to shop at also.
Great food
I used to love this little abandoned place. Always gives off this end of the world/ lost city vibe. Found a little restaurant inside and we were the only ones there on a Friday evening around 6. Now I know that we should have left based off of that fact alone. It was such a terrible experience that I can't even think of coming back.
Most of it is closed the stores are not my interest it's kind of dirty overall I did not like it
Need a better parking
Parking lot looks like a war zone.
