This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
Always a fun place to go.
Don't shop there anymore, had a scary experience, DO NOT feel safe going there.
Honestly, we only go for 5 places. Build a bear and Hallmark for my daughter, Auntie Annie's for my middle son, Sarku Japan for my oldest son, and Barnes and Noble for me. It's a nice mall I guess. I do use H&M for my daughter's clothes occasionally but as big as Asheville is getting I wish they would put more stores and restaurants in there. I'd love to get a Disney store and Cheesecake Factory around here since the outlets failed me on those two. At least the staff is friendly in every shop/restaurant we go in and it's clean.
It's an ok mall. Mainly go there for Barnes and Noble.
Great mall, plenty of stores to shop.
To many kids making too much trouble. These children need to be chaperoned or at the very least they need to have parents with them.
Great place, very nice and big
This mall was nice, but the restrooms make you not want to return. The door stalls were smeared with what seems to be feces, just down right disgusting. Management needs to really look into have those walls scrubbed or replaced. I would rather go outside than to use those restrooms. That makes the mall look awful with the restroom looking like that. Every time we come to the mall it's the same way. Please do something about it before you start losing customers due to how nasty it is kept.
It's a great mall has everything they have H&M store have Hollister they have a food court very clean Mall.
Good place to take little break
Getting way too small. Store locations change alot too.
Asheville one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Carolinas. For the Ultimate beauty shopping experience go to ULTA!
Loved it here.
Large mall. Lots of great stores.
Great mall but like most malls it's slowly dieing. Empty stores that will never be replaced.
It was ok better than the one closer to my house. Wish it were bigger with alot more stores
They have a great massage place..
Love shopping here, their services and prices are always good too!!!
Love the mall, always have everything there that you are looking for, and great for walking too
Great mall has a little of everything for a smaller city. Don’t expect anything like Charlotte or Atlanta type malls but great for the area it’s in.
It always seems to be too hot, even in the winter. I go in get what I came for and don't linger. The shops are very nice, and employees that I encountered are good, and very friendly.
George carlin said it best. People like shopping and eating...
Its comprehensive. More often than not you will find what you're looking for.
Lots of places to go good food choices for wen you need to power up
Amazing area to just have fun with friends and family
Glad to see a mall still doing great..loved the covered parking!
Will not be coming back way to many kids acting rude allowed to run around unsupervised. Also why dont you have someone supervising the kids area in the food court some kids way to old to be in ther running all over the little ones. Very dissatisfied.
Clean! Many stores with lots of variety. Only place my grand daughtercould get a brand of shoe she wanted.
This mall was pretty much completely deserted when we went. There's a decent selection of stores and most of them are very neat. Probably because there's nobody in there to mess up the displays. Good selection of food in the food court.
I cannot understand why anybody would waste their time coming to this mall. The food in the food court is rubbish, the other restaurants have such long wait times it's incredibly inconvenient, the stores are poorly stocked, and since they added on the back part behind Belk it just feels like part of the mall is separate and hidden and dying like a cancer it will slowly take over what's left. I would never go to the small by choice, but unfortunately I had to because of some people I was with. Asheville Mall disappeared 1520 years ago. Not much else to say other than don't waste your time.
Bigger than I thought it would be. Impressed
A good place to visit, maybe not the best place to work. I'm excited to see what theyre gonna do with it now that Sears is closed!
Little known fact... Asheville mall has a basement level with old abandoned stores. I went down there once about 20 years ago. it is bizarre and you can't find any info on this anywhere.. it's where the security once kept their office. Dunno if they still do. The entrance was in front of gap right up the stairs from the pretzel place. Went down an elevator. Wonder why they never opened this.. or if it is still there...?
Cool spot. Go check it out.
So much to do here. I love it!
I visit Ulta!
Love coming here has everything I need
There’s a lot of closed stores, but was still able to enjoy my shopping trip. I was thankful for the Bath & Body Works. I got 10 new candles.
This mall is ok for where it is (in the mountains). Most of the stores there sell your basic items, clothes, shoes, etc. They do have a chick fil a, which is a plus.
This mall is starting to die. I worked here about 8 years ago and very few big named stores left in mall. A few moved out and went to the outlet malls. Thanks internet!
This place has been taken over by rude, punk kids who need there parents. Kids get kidnapped, fist fights, etc.
We went on a weekend night to eat at Panda Express. The mall was clean and had a variety of stores. It was bigger than I was expecting. My child did the trampoline high jump and had a blast. He already wants to go back!
Spent the day at my favorite bookstore B&N.
It is what to be expected in a mall..alot of name brand shops at a slightly increased price of product.
A great shopping mall in the tourist town of Ashville, North Carolina.
I like it because it's quaint. Not a lot of people (most of the time). Has what I need (Lane Bryant, Ulta). Nothing spectacular, but it does the job. Bummed that they closed the cinnabon in this location.
Not crowded, every store had very knowledgeable, eager workers to help you. Really great.
Best mall around, never disappoints.
Great place to get a new job
Good place to go when it rains.
Cafe is pretty epic
This mall is not maintained at all. The restrooms were nasty, and the inside of the mall as well. This mall could definitely use a renovation.
They should not have changed that awesome sign they had on tunnel road to look more contemporary.
Probably one of the least safest malls in the country. No security at all, crazy stuff always happening. Not safe for visitors or people that work there. When security is present they only have walkie-talkies and they were trained not to intervene in any way.
I always visit this mall when I'm in town. Has a interesting layout and I even saw a black bear outside of the food court! Also has a decent store selection.
Very clean place, nice place to go kill some time!
Decent selection of stores, could use some more variety.
Went looking for the sunglasses hut but never found it... what a let down.
Has a really great selections of stores!!
Trendy, over priced, and full of middle class yuppies. If you have more money than sense, this is the place for you. Don't forget to stop by the Capeteria and grab a hat that says "Gullible Tool". If you are in this mall with a shopping bag in your hand, you probably won't need one.
Love it! Lots of cool places we don't have back in South Carolina (i.e. Box Lunch!)
I really enjoyed this jewel
So ever glad Avis Rental located within this mall,
It took longer to walk through the Outlets. If it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other, can you even call it a mall? We spent more time in Barnes & Nobles than the entire mall. Thank God we found a REAL mall in Spartanburg.
I Love Belks ! The Mall Is Always Clean And Plenty Of Places To Shop ! They Have A Very Good Food Court, And Love McGavin
there are better malls in Russia...
Lots of shops. The jump area is the best. Has the best service there.
one of the last remaining large malls that is actually at almost full capacity. It's always been a decent mall. I'll never understand why they have like three hair salons owned by Regis yuck
Great selection. Good food court as well.
The mall is Hugh with many great shops it was also clean with workers keeping things in order
It was really empty when we went but there was also construction going on in part of the mall near the food court. Other than that everything seemed really nice, we really enjoyed eating at the Döner. The food was amazing and we ended up going back a second time after a few hours of walking around the rest of the mall.
I love the mall just like it is. We have enough condos and motels in Asheville. We only have one good mall. Why ruin a good thing like they did at outlet mall where no one shops any more.
Pleasant environment good selection of shops & stores good service
I love the Asheville Mall! It’s easy to navigate, has everything you need, and it’s not overly crowded. Parking is always a breeze, which is an added bonus!
It's changed since I was a kid.40+yes ago. But I still enjoy going there. You can get a few things but most goes to get clothes. I think they still have a great Book Store. You can also find a lot of things for Children.
It's pretty slow and depressing these days guys....idk if it's the new outlets up the road in Asheville (I haven't been), but gosh the mall seems slow. This may be a plus for some, expect things to not be as busy and crowded, but I was like...where are all the people? And for perspective, I worked in this mall in a shop ten years ago, and the vibe of the whole place is totally different now.
Surprisingly complete almost a brick and mortar Amazon. And after all these years! Make sure you stop in when in Asheville.
Why are all the stores either closing or completely vacant? I really feel like Asheville Mall needs to step up their game. It's really not even worth going to even after the improvements they have made.
Bathrooms are always dirty and never stocked. Also a serious lack of security on the weekends.
Always ready for some Cajun food at the Cajun Connection.
I shop here a lot. They have the anchor stores such as Belk's, JCP, Dillard's. I misplaced my car keys and backtracked and a young man in Old Navy had them. Praise God They have a variety of stores
Honestly don't feel safe at this place, we try not to go
Nice shops very clean mall and relaxing
Nice little mall not much going on though
Excellent mall. Lots of great stores and dining options. Beautiful and clean interior with easy parking--especially in the garage.
Nice mall, very clean... No one there kind of a ghost town .
Could be better of a mall..... But hey it's a mall!! Lol
A little on the old side when viewed from outside. Ample parking and many stores to choose.
Interesting Mall supposedly for those who like Malls. Nice free samples in Food Court.
Another nice traditional mall that appears to be dying a slow death.
So sad for shopping choices. Asheville is based on tourism - tourists enjoy shopping. The shopping in Avl as a whole, not great, (unless you are fairly wealthy & can shop downtown, spending $60-$90.00 on a t-shirt, $45.on a pair of leggings...really, Avl, how resident/user unfriendly... I live & work here, I can't do that). I digress, Anyway... How about bringing a Macy's, some other staple stores to the mall. Many shops sit empty. Boring & sad...
Loved our trip
Love it theres alot to see nd do there
Great mall to shop in, just needs to update and maybe acquire a few more bigger stores. Last time I was there they had updated Zales and had just put tile in the walkways that looked really nice, I hope they keep up the positive changes!
Was a nice visit with my daughter & our friends from NY!
I hate going to the mall. I might go once year if that often. Nothing wrong with the mall, it's a nice one. Just not my thing.
Asheville Mall was a great experience for me, my wife and five kids
Love this place worked there an miss it dearly
It's ok, not as empty as some. Super annoying kiddie play area with loud sound effects that carry into nearby stores. Need to turn that down or you'll run off paying customers.
Nice mall. Bathrooms are always disgusting tho.
It could be internet shopping killing the physical shopping scene but the mall is looking EXTRA dead lately. Had to stop in for a few essentials pre-wedding and there's so many closed shops it's kind of depressing? (Though I don't really go in there often to begin with so how can I complain?) Still, very clean (including the food court). The selection in the food court is 10/10 too.
Great mall. Lots of shopping
Traffic is horrible. We flew in to check out the area to consider moving our business and it took us over an hour to get to downtown Asheville on a Saturday. The locals said we should check it out on a weekday during rush hour. Apparently it is all about I26 being a disaster and has been this way for years with very little expansion. This will be the last place I would move to that lacks a forward looking government to improve the major road feeding the city. Sad as it looks like it would be a nice place.
This is where most of the illegal aliens in Buncombe county hang out during the day. Lowe's and Home Depot come in second and third place.
Decent food court, lots of different clothing stores, no music store, no toy store. You can get a massage while you wait on new glasses and your watch to be repaired. There are some really good sales right now.
Big mall with many choices
Boiling hot and still mostly empty. Apparently they cannot afford AC which is annoying when the malls awkward setup requires a LOT of walking up and down ramps/stairs and halls and it's 90+ degrees out
Ok, not enough stores and the layout is awkward. Needs an update it feels dated, looks about the same as malls did 10 years ago. Flagship stores are failing and there aren’t enough boutique type stores or nicer dining options.
Best zumiez
Michael was great helping the girls with their bears!!!
The Asheville mall has been a staple in my life for over 30 years. While the Mall itself has changed over the years, the memories will always remain.
Spacious and neat mall. Contains favorite stores and has a Starbucks in the middle. Great place to go for a shopping spree in Asheville. Four stars because the bathrooms were a mess and it looked nasty.
It had a good amount of people and it had great service!
Seems abandoned but has some good stores
Every store we when to had what we wanted special thanks to the crew at Van's shoes! My daughter had me driving all over Asheville looking for a particular pair of shoes. Exhausted I googled Van's Shoes Store in the Asheville Mall. Gave them a call, low and behold they had the Rainbow Van's! Finally 3hrs. Of looking through different shoes stores you think common sense would have told me to start at the Asheville Mall!! Folks long story short if you are looking for shoes, clothing, or accessories..etc. hit the Asheville Mall first...lol don't do like I did and waste time and gas, talk about not planning ahead!
Great mall. Clean, beautiful women, great shops, what else do you need?
Service is great but could be more competitive on prices
Great selection of stores
Love that this mall has a nice mix of corporate and local stores!! Easy to get in and out, a staple in Asheville.
Great layout of the mall and plenty of good stores to choose from!
Trying to eat lunch at the food court. Not very pleasant listening to screaming kids. Won’t eat here again. Much better at McAlister's Deli!
Great mall, if you like malls. I personally only go for the food courts, which is pretty good here. Get the bourbon chicken
Well organized and prices were not bad at all.
Quiet clean deserted
There's not many stores I would go to. The main place we go to is the food court play area. Sometimes we eat here, then head to Claire's and Barnes and Noble. The kids have taken over the mall, so it's best to go when nobody else is there
Some new stores, so happy for that.
It's a pretty good mall. There are several shops and not too many empty spaces. There are options for pretty much anyone in your family. The parking is pretty descent if you have a specific place you want to go. The food court is really good and it has several options for everything you can imagine! Plus beside the food court is a wonderful play area for the kids. So it's a win win! A great place to shop or spend some time!
Very clean easy to find what you're looking for nice mall
It's nice, I just wish it were bigger with more stores.
Great place to enjoy lots of good stores and food and relaxing seating
This Mall has grown over the last 20 years. Modern and a great atmosphere
Not a bad mall never any problems and never run crowded. They have all the basics. Jewelry, phones, as seen on tv, hot topic, spencers, Barnes n noble, pretzels, Starbucks, Smoothies, pizza, clothes, shoes etc. Parking never a problem.
Good use a facelift, with more access to other stores from the outside without long halls.
Clean mall and the stores are nicely spaced so it doesn't feel too crowded. Just disappointed that the food court was completely shut off when we went.
Loved the play area for the kids. My grandbabies loved it. Only bad thing is everything in Asheville cost a lot more than home.
Great place has even play ground
Love this place, could stay here all day!
Went to the candle sale...great buys.
When we first walked in, it seemed like it was a small mall with just a couple stores. But as you start walking around, you realize that there's a lot more stores and many other shops to stop at.
Good place but only a few stores. You should choose the Asheville outlets instead
It's a pretty typical mall. Nothing to set it apart from any others. Needs that reboot that's about to happen.
My favorite place great for shopping
This mall needs more stores and could seriously needs a makeover! I mean completely renovated and to be more appealing to the public! for such a growing city! You'd think they could have a decent mall here! "Really!
Good place for people watching. Walk around safely.
What can I say?
Great mall for the area.... Could use more stores.....
Despite showing some age here and there, this remains a vibrant and successful mall. Its occupancy is very high and that speaks for itself.
This mall is great! Not too overly crowded, great food court, many stores. Only issue I had was finding a restroom. Went to an area with a restroom signed, but when I opened the doors, it led into a corridor that looked like would lead to a ramp for loading and unloading merchandise and things. Looked a bit sketchy. There were bathrooms but I was very confused by all of it. However, there are bathrooms throughout the mall, so no issue there. Otherwise, great mall.
