REVIEWS OF Rockefeller Center IN New York

Amanda Spooneybarger

Fun place to shop or just look around. Iconic and beautiful. Low parts flood a little when it rains so watch your shoes!

abagail gutierrez

This place was beautiful! We went around Christmas time and the tree was HUGE! it was the most beautiful tree ive ever seen and the ice skating rink was so adorable! It was amazing to see how many people fit in this place and so beautiful to see so many different, people. Old, young, rich, poor, all coming together to see such beautiful sights that this place offers.

Joanna Rigby

First time I went here was after Christmas and it looked just like it does in films with Christmas trees, decorations and ice skaters. It is a bit different in the summer! There are shops and places to eat downstairs and Top of the Rock is a must. You can see Central Park from there. Need to get a new T-shirt on my next visit...

Pamela Russell

Good drinks, clean restrooms and a great upscale environment. Tiffany's and Michael Kors are both right there. Grab hubby a drink and go shop! Clean grounds and beautiful foundation

Jennifer Beattie

Amazing views. There are three levels for viewing. Crowds were less at each higher level. Not sure everyone realises you can go to all 3 levels with general admission ticket? Great spot for photos. Nicer to look at Empire State than from it...same view but better as Central Park is closer from here.

Gareth Cox

Very clean, found hard to navigate though - although once you find the map it's easy to understand. Nice variety of shops.

Jimmy Noblett

Great iconic location. If you never been you should go. It's convenient to all the shops on 5th avenue. Many restaurants in the area also. And every time you see it on TV oh, you can say I've been there. A definite must-see during the holidays.

Lara Fabian

Cool place to hang out in the evening. A lot of people all the time. Sometimes there are crazy people screaming some random stuff but this is New York this is its charm. If you wanna go inside of Top of the rock just know there is going to be a line so you can book your tickets online you may even save a couple of $

Ken Jewell

Very cool to be here to have a beer at the summer time bar that sits where the ice rink will very soon. Who knew this Center was so versatile?

Apex Schneider

Well organized. Great view. Not as crowded as the Empire State Building.

Clay Tillman

Yeah sure its big and pretty and has tours and shops and stuff but I'll tell you what you really wanna know. Public bathrooms are inside and down the stairs on your left. Take a right and get that relief you need.

wynston zero

Still one of the best attractions in Manhattan but found that on this trip the venue staff herd you through the prelimanary stages like cattle before you enter the main observation deck and constantly verbally badger you through-out the video presentations hence only four stars; sorry guys you need to work on your people skills

Martyna Bogacz

I visited the Tower in January 2019, we got there at the magic hours time so we had to to $10 more for the entrance. It was worth it. The view was just spectacular. The queues were not to bad.

Tony Cheung

Brilliant view of the city skyline, weather was overcast when we visited and then it started to rain which made cut the visit short, however on a good day and even during the night it would be fantastic. Went during the morning so it wasn't busy.

Robert Smith

If you haven't been you need to go back. Always a very cool place to see and things to do. Rocking at the Rockefeller center

Jessica Hash

I enjoyed exploring the building and seeing the many shops within. We did go mostly to go all the way up to the Top of the Rock. But I enjoyed standing out front and taking pictures of the building and the historic plaques out front.

Kelly Keifer

Such a wonderful place! I loved hanging out at the fountain with my son. I want to come back when they have the Christmas decorations up. I'd love to ice skate here as well. Will be coming back to this wonderful place.

Jonathan Bolaños Tabares

As awesome as it's suppose to be. Surrounded by exclusive shops and tall skyscrapers. Depending on the season you can enjoy the beautiful big Christmas tree and ice skating.

Georgios Dagas

Great place. You can go for shopping or you can have a coffee. Definitely you should go up to the observation deck and see the city from the clouds...

Dajana Dangubić

Awesome area and club. But waitress is stilling money. I was there with my wife we had drinks and French fries. Bill was insane. Waitresses give us wrong food and drink bill with no items on it. When we ask for bill with items she starts talking about how she need to finish her job and that place is minutes from closing for the night, that computers are shutting down, and some insane things. Than she told us she will take off 10$ from bill for an unpleasant experience, but she didn't give us any recipe or bill. She took both for her. When we check our bank accounts the price was the same she didn't took off 10$ that she still from us. If you are tourist here, be cheerful what are you paying for. Thay are rude and thay will still from you if you are not careful.

Yossi W

Pretty cool place. They have matching grandmas as is evidenced by the photo in Exhibit A. I saw a total of four matching grandma's, which is definitely a record. Possibly even a World record. Miami's got nothing on the Big Apple.

Alma Otaño

The views are amazing, the whole experience is completely worthy it, not matter if it is in the nights or with daylight, the bottom of the building has great murals, one of my favorites is from Friends (the TV show). Also, outside we can always see great pieces of artwork and in the winter it holds a ice skating ring that is iconic in the city! Highly recommended

johnny diaz

Lots of outside food to choose from. As well as indoor. On a day id recommend coming out and enjoying all of the food choices. Its highly unlikely that you will not find something you'd like. By the way when December comes around be sure to see the tree lighting

Dan Keats

Love this place. One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in new York.

Jasper Heijboer

Rockefeller plaza is famous for the Christmass tree and ice-skating rink. And if you go up to Top of the Rock, you will have the best views over the entire city. You will see central park, Empire State Building, Times Square, 1World Trade Centre, Brooklyn Bridge, and Statue of Liberty in a far distance.

Alice Watkins

Great building with a great view at the top! There are many shops at the bottom. And on a hot day it’s great to go inside as it’s got some great air conditioning ahaha! The lift journey to the top is quick and enjoyable, as music is played while your going up, with lights as well. Would definitely recommend

Alan Edwards

Visited Rockefeller Center for lunch, shopping and for photos from the Top of the rock. We had a great time. There are lots of great places to eat & drink and an excellent selection of shops. Definitely a worth a visit to the Top of the Rock Observation deck for great views of the Empire State Building, St Patrick's Cathedral & Central Park to name but a few.

gemi hartojo-alwakil

Such an iconic place. It’s a must to come visit this place in the summer and in the winter where the skating rink is an ice skating rink!! It’s also right across the street from NBC — which, if you come at 7am you can catch a live showing.

Hileri Bilakhia

Top of the Rock offers some amazing 360° views via three observation decks - floors 67, 69 and 70. Carry some quarters with you if you'd like to use the binoculars stationed at the decks. Do visit the Atlas Statue behind the plaza and right opposite St. Patrick's cathedral.

Raghuvanesh Vasudevan

I have been here quite a few times both daytime and night. I can never get bored of the view it offers. Very well organized place, crowd is managed brilliantly. Doesn't take too much time for you to go up and come back down probably an hour or so.

Andrew Dawson

The Rockafeller Center is more of a shopping center than the Empire State Building and offers more in that way. However, the admission price for the observatory is a little prohibitive because there's nothing that sets it apart from the Empire State, so you have no reason to go there as it doesn't go as high. The statues and the history are interesting though, so it's worth passing through on the low ground.

Esteban Alonso Ramírez

It was a great experience to be here. The shops, the building and its history, all was great. Top of the Rock is breathtaking! No trip to NYC is complete without coming here.

Patsy Broming

Only seen this on tv until now. 37 years old and finally made it to New York City. This Center blew me away with it's prestige. So Amazing. Glad we had a chance to experience it with our son.

A Stark

Pricy but worth it. The views overlook both sides of Manhattan. Just below, hard to photograph, is St Patrick Cathedral. Great view of Central Park and north. You can also see both airports, LaGuardia and Kennedy visible from the top. Unless someone invites you to a midtown penthouse, this is a hard to find viewpoint. Sunsets are breathtaking, as you can see!

Allan Valentine

Great visitor attraction within an impressive building and shopping centre. Visit the rock at twilight to enjoy great sunsets. Timed visits to the top, so it's all well controlled. On the ground there is a small coffee concession with snacks etc.

Simon og Jane Moesgaard Kristoffersen

2015-05-16 - Great view from the top of the tower. I guess we were lucky and didn’t have to wait that long, but it seems like the lines can be long. The area around the center is also really nice.

Edwin Amsler

I was lucky enough to get a tour while I was there of some of the iconic stages and memorabilia. Highly recommended if you enjoy NBC productions.

Imogen Fox

Absolutely brilliant. We went up to see the sunset and it was worth every second. We spent two hours simply gazing into the view, totally awestruck. I would suggest this for everyone and it was really accessible

Marybeth Martin

An NYC classic! Choc full of restaurants and shopping, it's a regular haunt for tourists. Beautiful, but not someplace you'd go if you're looking to get off the beaten path obviously.

Juan Benitez

This prime tourist spot is seriously crowded just about everyday but well worth the visit. It's decorated by the seasons too. Great New York City photo ops & great for people watching. The Christmas holidays is when this location really shines

Pavle Dakic

Went to the Top of the Rock and really enjoyed the view. Make sure to go off at off-peak hours to avoid any potential lines. Also had lunch and drinks at Rockefeller Café. The chicken salad wrap was decent and so were the nachos/guacamole. Quite pricey due to the tourist attraction, but good service nonetheless.

Tammy & Cody

Fun place. Love the tour of NBC studios. The gift shop has some cute stuff, especially for gifts (but it is pretty pricey). If you're out and about in the city and need a pit stop to have a rest, the downstairs area is a great place to grab a coffee cause there's tons of seating (and bathrooms!).

Michelle Haag

Was in New York for just a few hours so went to Rockefeller Center to do touristy things. Wish I had more time but the time I spent there was well worth it. Top of the Rock tours were full but we're managed to get in an NBC studios tour which was super cool as it reminded of my years working in broadcast news

Anoushae Eirabie

Nice plaza, ambience was quaint. Interesting stores surrounding, underground is cool. Wish there were nicer places to grab food at plaza level. Couldn't been a more generous variety of retail/market. Art pieces being displayed were fun.

dominik frutig

Multiple Shops, NBC Studios and restaurants are located at Rockefeller Center. Spectacular view from platform Top of the Rock. Almost now waiting time thanks to the timed ticket, even in peak season. Buy ticket online, select time, be there at selected time, after that only short line for security and up you go. We enjoyed sunset and night view. Great view of Central Park and the Empire State Building. Could even see Statue of liberty in the distance.

Sean Park

Very fun, very interactive place. It has a toy store, Lego, Nintendo, etc. would highly recommend! But, there are a lot of people there.

Gary R

A nice haven in the theater district. My wife and I were in the city celebrating the first time in 19 years of marriage that all of our children were at sleepaway camp. We mainly came for dinner and a show but, the next morning, we grabbed a bagel on the way to a museum before heading home. The local bagel shop was uncommonly warm inside, so we walked a few blocks to eat outside at Rockefeller Center. A beautiful venue for breakfast. And the fresh bagels were delicious.

Aiman أيمن

The history of this place is very interesting! Plus, the view of New York is from the Top of the Rock gives you a rare and wonderful experience!

Howard N Hughes

Another one of New York's iconic buildings. Great views from the top of Central Park and surrounding district in on direction and the Empire State Building and further away One World Trade Center Building. We had a New York city pass which we bought before coming. Six attractions including the three tall buildings along with a cruise to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Natural History museum and the Metropolitan Art Gallery. All of them are really worth visiting if on vacation in New York.

Jennifer Barclay

TOTR totally worth checking out! The views are spectacular! Best advantage to see The Empire State and The One World Trade buildings. You won't be disappointed on a clear day

Reaven Veaceslav

The landmark offers a diverse collection of shops, most of which are unique or have unique takes on their brands. The location is beautiful and well detailed with a variety of statues and fountains. It's a wonderful monument to capitalism and consumerism, it's even named for one of the most famous American industrial families ever. I think it's worth visiting, and I'd certainly go back someday to see if anything has changed.

Jorge Brown

Love the symbolism that impregnates this space, it's pursuit for nobility, endurance and greatness. Entered the toy store and saw how families were enjoying magic tricks performed by employees. This city feels like home at summer time.

Yajaira Marmolejo

We walked inside and there are many stores and restaurants. It's cool to see that the studios are there. My family and I attended the observatory and it was awesome! I totally recommend it. You feel the city around you. The view is great and I love that it's outdoors.

Jill Harwell

It's cool to see that the studios are there. My family and I attended the observatory and it was awesome! I totally recommend it. You feel the city around you. The view is great and I love that it's outdoors.

Shelly Kotek

Breathtaking views. Went at night. The elevator was cool. Super fast with a clear ceiling with some kind of video playing on it. The gaps in the glass at the top allowed for better pictures. Can't wait to go back!

Mark B Borg Jr

Yeah, right...Who doesn't love this place!? Been in New York City for 2+ decades and there are still some places that I get a thrill from each time I pass them--look up, look around, turn a corner and stumble, maybe crash right into some landmark that says: "Dude! YOU LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY!!!" How does anyone adjust to that!?!

Marzieh Jafary

Nice place for spending an evening if it’s not crowded by tourists! The fun thing to do is to find your countries flag and take a picture in the heart of Manhattan!

Richard RENAUX

If you go there for the top of the rock the view will blow your mind. Lots of people though, but best view in NYC with the empire state building right in front of view. The lobby of the building is beautiful, you have to check the ceiling. There is some replicas of shows and series in some stores so be sure to walk around a bit. The outside is really nice as well.

Fatima Trindade

The Rockefeller Center is always beautiful all year around. Winter with the ice skating and Christmas tree, spring with it's beautiful flowers, summer with it's farmer's market and tasty food and autumn with it's foliage. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from, and cafes and clothing and gift stores to shop. There's definitely a lot to be explored at this location and each little corner is a new jewel waiting to be found. Enjoy!

Paul Marklew

Amazing place. Lovely views weather you go there in the morning or the evening to catch the stars and evening lights

Al Wood's Modelling Mayhem

We had a wonderful time at the Rockefeller Center. The art deco alone was great to look at, but the Top of the Rock view over Central Park was just wonderful and we spent a lot of time looking over the surrounding area. Of course with shops and eateries within the center itself, there is plenty to do and see. The Top of The Rock experience is part of the City Pass and was well worth it on a sunny day.

Nicolle Lafaurie

One of the landmarks in NYC. When visiting this area you can eat at the local pastry’s, browse around in the Nintendo shop, and the NBC shop too. In the summer they have a delightful Farmers Market there with local products that make your walking feel like a local.

Saranya Venkatesan

There are so many entrance for the observation deck many stores and many restaurants must see place in nyc it was awesome! I totally recommend it. You feel the city around you. The view is great view everything in one place

Ankesh Airon

Visited this because this was supposed to be an iconic place. However, I didn't find anything special/interesting here. It's just a collection of lot of shops jam packed with a ton of people. If you are visiting NYC and are on a tight schedule, don't waste your precious time on this.

Satu Tukia

Stylish, impressive place. And special thanks to the lovely cleaner who picked up my phone I forgot in the ladies room 8.9.19 Once again a big thank you❤️Thanks also to the really helpful lobby host for your help. Things to do in Top of Rock

Tim Easley

If you're going to NY this is pretty much the best roof you can go to. Forget going up the Empire State - you'll get much better view here and you have the added bonus of being able to see the Empire State lit up at night. You can also see Central Park easily, and the Statue of Liberty in the far distance. Be warned - the queues are long and it gets very busy at night. If you go at sunset it'll be pretty packed, but it's definitely worth it for the view.

Konstantinos Babetas

There are several things to do inside Rockefeller center. If you're a fan of many TV shows you should go to the NBC store that is inside, you can attend some live taping of some of the greatest live shows, you can go shopping and eating inside, and of course you can go up to the Observatory and see the magnificent view without missing out on seeing the building that you are in since the Rockefeller center is not that magnificent from outside unlike Empire State Building and One World Trade Center.

Jim Mannoia

Enjoyed the cafe... Where the skating rink is in the winter. Nice fountain, good shade, prices more reasonable than I expected for the prime real estate. Came after Mass in St. Pat's across the street. Our waiter was nice personally but service was pretty bad.

Patrick Crystal Brophy

BEAUTIFUL VIEW! Our trip to NYC was amazing and we walked from the Friends apartment building all the way to the Rockefeller Center and it was well worth the leg aches!

Kristen James Jewelry

A fun place to wonder. Cute shops around the area. 100% recommend going to The Top Of The Rock. AMAZING view of the city at night!

Chris Foster

Very beautiful place to visit. The area is great to walk around but not much else to really do here in the spring. Inside the building has a tour but that's nothing really exciting or great. Great little coffee shop outside. Best thing about it is it's a nice way to cut across the block if you need to be on the other side, about it.

Andrew Muttiah

Such a beautiful place to visit. Definitely visit it when in New York. Great location. It is always busy due to the location and place. Great place for photography. Easy access from public transportation. Plenty of restaurants around here.

Daria Tokareva

Rockefeller Center is the best place to get epic views of both day and night city! Even better than Empire State Building, as you can see Empire State from Rockefeller top of the Rock. The 43 second elevator is also a fantastic experience. You’ll also enjoy a beautiful Rockefeller plaza! Highly recommend!

Chris Davey

Forget the viewing platform and visit sixty fifth bar @ rainbow rooms, not only does it have amazing views! But it’s half the price and they throw in two free cocktails

Christina Wieser

The view is awesome bit the price aswell! We paid 10 dollars more just because we went on there during sunset. 60 dollars is a very expensive view I have to say. But the view is awesome

Sunshine NY

The heart of New York City. Lovely place to visit for the whole year. Each time, it wears different outfit. In Christmastime, they bring the Tallest Christmas tree in US, decorated with awesome design. People all over the world come to visit it. It's so crowded in Christmas time. They turn the lights on in Thanksgiving with animated singers. In Spring time, it becomes a garden with all kind of flowers and plants. A beautiful design. The whole year, you can see all International flags around the world. As a tourist, you may find your country's flag! You must visit this place because it's one of the best place you need to see in New York City.

Toni MacDonald

Been there. Done that. Off the bucket list now. An all American section of New York with lots of flags, people, and activity. Enjoy a luncheon under a tent in the restaurant or at a nearby bakery that caters to tourists. But don't miss the inside of the Comcast building where the decor and the huge wall murals are stunning!

Saif Abraham

It's a nice experience. Especially when you go see the well lit Christmas tree then you cross the street to enjoy the window display of Sacks.

Meg Caccavale

Very good! The view is just great and impressive. Those who come to New York, a must-see place. Excellent view of the city.

Patrick Garcia

We visited the Top of the rock by night, the logistic is well managed to access. If you have the opportunity, I'll recommend to go just before the sunset in order to experience boths, day and night view. Only some. Additional information about the building history and the city may be useful as o ve you're on the top there is nothing else but the view.

Cody Sanford

I don't know why this place attracts so many people, because there is nothing but a winter skating rink and a statue on the road. Surrounded by many buildings, many tourists are scrambling to take pictures, as if this is the representative of modern America? In fact, it is not true at all, because no one works or lives here, but at least it is free to pass through.

Andrew Bolton

It was great to see the history of the Christmas tree tradition with a video. I enjoyed exploring the building and seeing the many shops within. We did go mostly to go all the way up to the Top of the Rock. But I enjoyed standing out front and taking pictures of the building and the historic plaques out front

Faraaz M HabeebUddin

Liked the visit. As every visitor to New York visits the place, I did too. I enjoyed the visit but it was not overwhelming, may be because I am from Chicago. Definitely worth a visit if you are in New York but skipping it wont make a difference.

Sara Boyer

Great place to visit! Lots of shopping and food places available as well as going to the top of the Rockfeller building and seeing the sites of the city! During the winter, it becomes a ice skating rink that is really pretty during the holiday season! High recommend

Amit Bluman

Love this plaza. The atmosphere, the building, the statue, the trees... Everything come together so nicely here. A must visit place in NYC.

Nicolas De Smyter

Very beautiful place to visit. There are always people walking around and visiting the shops around the square. It is one of the more famous places in the city, so it should be some kind of touristic obligation to visit the spot. And in the end, it probably is worth a visit anyway.

Larissa Mackay

Awesome place to walk around or bring the kids to play in the sand. It was my first time here and my son loved it. Also, great for tired parents... you get to sit for a bit !

Michael Gabriel

This is a great place to visit. Any time of the year . Summer time great outdoor dining and the winter the famous Christmas tree. There are shops also around and of course NBC. Don’t miss out the top of the rock

Andrew Parker

Plenty to do here, and it covers a wide area. Great places to eat; fresh food and drinks to buy; great shopping; and plenty of seating just to sit and watch the world go by! There's Radio City and NBC studios so you can see where TV shows are filmed. Give yourself plenty of time to take it all in!

Anika Siraj

My favorite building in NYC! It never gets old! Gives you a superbly stunning view of the entire city that never sleeps! You have to go on the very top to check it out for yourself!

Just Cade

Visited just to go to the observation deck. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but the "Top of The Rock" entrance was very difficult to find, you would think that in such a popular location, they would have more signage in order to make it easier to find. I eventually found it on the lower concourse entrance, which is a little odd, I don't think there is an entrance at street level. The other 2 major observation decks in NYC, the Empire State Building, and the World Trade Center, were very easy to find entrances to, and get in and out of, 30 Rock, not so much. Apart from that though, it was an amazing experience. I did have to wait for my elevator, they gave me a ticket and a time stamp, and told me to be back at the entrance then to catch a ride to the top. It was busy, even at 11 PM, and there was about a 20 minute wait from buying the ticket, to when I actually got into the elevator. The ceiling of the elevator is glass, allowing you to see up to the top through the shaft. There are 3 observation deck levels, and indoor spaces in case you don't want to go outside, but I strongly recommend the very top deck, the views are the best in NYC. I'm sure it is very beautiful during the day, but I went on a warm, clear night, and the lights of the city were beyond beautiful. 360° of bliss, you can see for miles in every direction, and if you have a keen eye, you can spot most of New York's iconic locales. Midtown buzzes around you, Times Square is only a few blocks away, and the skyscrapers shine in their full glory. An unforgettable experience, and a must see if you love city views like I do!

Joel Colon

Rockefeller center is a magical place no matter the time of the year you go. During the summer the center serves food and drinks, in the winter it becomes an ice skating rink and the famous Christmas tree is put up. There are plenty of shops and other food options as well. We stopped for a bite to eat and some refreshments as a break from shopping. This has that NYC vibe we all love and is a must see place so make sure you come here.

yazzle dazzle

Really beautiful place, especially during the winter with the giant Christmas tree. Definitely make sure to stop by no matter the season. It's also close to a lot of other tourist attractions, and children can enjoy the neighboring LEGO store.

J C

Been here many times. Top of rock has the best view of the city. And during Christmas time, despite the crowd, it is decorated beautifully.

Wendy Garcia

If you're in New York City you should add Rockefeller center to your site seeing list. The subway takes you straight to the mall which provides a great shopping trip. The center itself is a great place to sit and watch the bustling of people.

Prince Campbell

We stopped by in the middle of the day. They were moving stuff around for some upcoming show. But what was interesting was the other things going on around the area. Because it's such a tourist spot a couple of stores and media were there promoting their wares. Always good to pass by and see what's up.

Converse 88

Probably the best view of NYC. Best time to go is late afternoon and wait for the sun to go down then watch the city come alive. Top of the Rock gives you the best view over Central Park, and the best view of the Empire State Building. It’s a must do for every visitor to NYC.

Arthur Carvajal

The guided tour is interesting, and the views from the observation deck are amazing. You can see the expanse of Central Park and the Empire State Building from this vantage point, which permits fine photography of both.

primo iglesias

What can I say! I've been coming since my dad and mom first took me to learn how to ice skate. I've always been fascinated by Rockefeller Center. Its history, its architecture, its public access artwork, the rainbow room, the observation tower and the surrounding complexes the gardens in the sky, it just goes on and on. I didn't plan on visiting but as you pass by it draws you right in. Enjoy the photos of some of the artwork I had the opportunity and time to take. Love this place and everyone should go because you can spend an entire day and still not see it all.

Greg Grigorian

Better than Times Square. I've lived in New York my whole life and always appreciate the center more than the square. Though, I go to time square more often, it's just a better experience at Rockefeller Center. You are not being harassed by performers and such, you can enjoy the skating rink in the winter. You can find your nation's flag that surrounds the rink. Jimmy Fallon tapes his show in this area. You can get free tickets sometimes in the early hours of the day.

Carine N.

Nice place to have drinks in the spring and summer. Great outdoor space. Drinks overpriced though

Ashley Rowzee

It was great to see the history of the Christmas tree tradition with a video. I enjoyed exploring the building and seeing the many shops within. We did go mostly to go all the way up to the Top of the Rock. But I enjoyed standing out front and taking pictures of the building and the historic plaques out front.

Xavier Willis

I enjoyed my time going all the way up to the roof; I met interesting observers who know what they're talking about, I addressed pressing issues surrounding my identity in how it relates to television, the guards were on point in stellar fashion, and Zack the bartender was famous in his preparation of my perfect Manhattan at the Rainbow Room floor 65. The breath-acknowledging view made my experience at Rockefeller Center unforgettable!

Nilda M

you should go there as earliest as possible and in weekdays since there are no crows. Our tickets were at 9 am, yet they allow us getting in at 8:30 so we could enjoy an amazing and private view of central park and empire state. Do not waste your money on the empire state building. top of the rock is the best. Check the weather!!!!! enjoy nyc is the best

Gareth Berry

The tour is good and very informative and the views from the top are great if you can push through the crowds! Go at dusk to watch New York come alive with colour!

Barbara Miranda

Very busy area during the holidays! But very beautiful and full of life. It's nice to walk around and see the people ice skating in the ice skating ring. I love New York during the holidays, and all year round!

Felicity Seraph Chow

Wow when we went for the guided tour here I didn’t expect to be pleasantly surprised to find out how much history there was. Our guide Lindsay was hilariously entertaining.

Erika Rojas

Spent 10 days in New York, visited many many places, loved it ! We were very very excited to go to the rockerfeller due to it being very famous, but it was by far the worst experience we had while being at New York, our flight was supposed to leave early and they kept saying we had to wait till 3;40 if we wanted to go up, at the end we came in but everybody was extremely rude, it was almost as if we were begging for some courtesy and attention, not to mention there were lines even to leave the place, definitely will never be back here!

Kyle Langenstein

This part was cool to visit in my NYC trip. This place had a very good view but does take a while to get up and down to which makes sense. We went around 8 o'clock pm which is a good time to go.

Sarah e. Bensken

Loved going here!! Went to the Top of the Rock! Got amazing views of the city and way better pricing than the Empire State Building!

Karam Al Shelh

A building which represents POWER when you see it. It is building know for NBC Studios but it also old many companies like Deloite and others.NBC contains roughly 30 floors of the building. There is a great dessert place bellow known for their Banana Pudding, worth it to drop by. In the winter the building has a great skating rink for some outdoor entertainment. While becoming a outdoor Restaurant/Cafe in the summer.

Russell Leier

Always worth visiting. Not nearly as crowded during the summer (compared to when the Christmas tree is up). Plenty of other nearby attractions.

J Davies Kent

A great view of NYC is afforded from the Top of the Rock! Not as well organised as the Empire State Building, the staff at the Rockefeller Centre were far less professional than I'd expected and there was inadequate seating for guests on the entry floor level. The Top of the Rock is an amazing experience. We loved going to Lady M after touring the Top of the Rock and it was delicious! Another place to visit while in the centre is Jacques Torres for his famous chocolate chip cookies.

William Toulouse

Great view from the top of 30 Rock. Can see the Empire State Building and the rest of Manhattan lit up at night. Also a great view of Central Park. Take the Tour. Interesting

Cool building with great history. Love the elevator and the crystal wall. The room with color light paths was pretty fun as well. Overall the views can't be beat and we'll worth the wait and price for the experience.

We visited the rockefeller centre and did the tour as well at Top of the Rock. The tour was amazing I've done the tour once before and both times the tour was very informative but also different. The tour guide did an amazing job and talked about slightly different things on both tours, so although I have done the tour before I learned and saw new things the second time around. The Top of the Rock has an amazing view of the city, the best view in my opinion. It has a great view of both central park and the empire state building. I highly recommend doing both the tour and the Top of the Rock.

I love this place. It is very beautiful and has everything, shops, restaurants, galleries. They always have new things and events. The best time to visit this place is at Christmas, it is magical and colorful.

Nelson Guerrero

Always a perfect place to visit any time of year. Lots of good restaurants, shopping, food trucks and people watching. Ice skating in the winter and good drinks in the summer.

Yup! The heartbeat of Manhattan!!! Now, make sure you come visit this spring and summer. Enjoy the outdoor eating and seating. In the wintertime, Rockefeller center was really magical for you and the family. The giant Christmas tree is absolutely stunning. The flags bring the world to our forefront. The ice skating rink is always filled with people having lots of fun. Even though it's winter, you don't feel the cold because they're so many people walking around admiring the beauty, shopping, eating, and bringing in one of the greatest sights in New York City and possibly the world. Enjoy the shops underground including the coffee shops. If you get a chance have a pretzel or a hot dog from a stand on the street. I caution everyone, be prepared to spend a lot of money, but it's Christmas time and the time to give joy. Rockefeller Center is exciting, glamorous and picturesque. At this time of the year, who could ask for anything more. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. God-bless you!!! Go today it's picture perfect out. Your eyes will be captivated, for sure.

Rockefeller Center is a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres between 48th and 51st Streets, facing Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The 14 original Art Deco buildings, commissioned by the Rockefeller family, span the area between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, split by a large sunken square and a private street called Rockefeller Plaza. Five International Style buildings, built later, are located on the west side of Sixth Avenue and at the north end of Rockefeller Plaza. The art work is nothing short of magnificent! Enjoy!

Rick Taylor

Really loved the views, amazing, and I absolutely fully understand the security, but there was a lot of pretty pointless waiting around before we got to the views, with nothing to do with security. More communication from the staff before the viewing platforms would be very helpful.

James Blackmon

Visited this since this should be a notorious spot. The region is extraordinary to stroll around yet very little else to truly do here in the spring. Inside the structure has a visit yet that is nothing truly energizing or extraordinary. Extraordinary little bistro outside. In the event that you are visiting NYC and are on a tight timetable, don't squander your valuable time on this.

Mike Y

Awesome place which can see whole New York City and empire building. The building lift also so much fun. You cannot missing this.

Pratheep Sevanthinathan

There is a wine bar/beer garden right outside of Rockefeller that is really cool in the summer. The Top of the Rock views were also very nice.

Matthew Rubenstein

it's one of the great classic New York places. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because there's so many tourists that there are vendor scamming tourists, on top of the premium prices you can beat just a block or two away. But to actually visit, hang out in, pay for sit down drink or dinner it's one of the reasons anyone comes to New York, even just to live here.

Tracey Becker

This place is absolutely bustling and A Feast for the eyes. Something we all know from TV and pictures of New York, great to see in person. Wish I had realized we could do tours of NBC

Brayden Mora

This activity is very well organised. If you buy an advanced beat the queue ticket, you just turn up at your allocated time, not before!! and skip the queue. Once inside there is a photo opportunity and then you are grouped before you access the lift which is amazing. Get your cameras out, it's going to be a hairy ride! The views are simply amazing. You can access the views on 4 sides and climb stairs to the highest level. Generally people move around so you can find a space and a clear view. We went around dusk so we saw the view in the daylight, at twilight and in darkness. This is the popular time of the day so it was busy. If you want to guarantee twilight, then you need to book. You can stay as long as you want too

Bennie Crowder

9/11/19. Awesome time. It took about 25 minutes to get to the top. Great views of the Empire State Building and the 9/11 memorial lights. Staff was very friendly.

Graham George Learmond

Good information, I had no idea about how, why and when it was built. Also best tip if you want to get up the Top of the rock. Do the tour then you can jump a view queues. Even if the rock is booked out you can still get up to the top after the tour.

I would live to come back during Christmas time to see their beautiful tree display and the ice skating rink. Enjoyed being there.

Kristin Anderson

The one and only time we have ever been here was around New Years and had the opportunity to go ice skating at the rink! It was definitely a must-do and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us.. New York was not a place we would visit very often, especially in the cold. We really enjoyed the ice skating and the pricing was very reasonable. The staff were awesome, friendly, and very helpful. The ice skates were not the most comfortable, but that is to be expected. Provided the opportunity, we would do this again!

Bruce Levin

Lots of dining and retail options in a setting that is incomparable in terms of the art deco architecture and the history of the place. I really enjoy how open and accessible the place is to the public considering it needs to be carefully secured and monitored (and it is). Enjoy one of New York City's landmarks!

Fatima Day

Good Day America concerts, Watching H.E.R rehearse before her show. Great performance, Awesome Talent and great show. Be sure to tune into NBC. In the winter make sure you catch the tree lighting and some ice skating.

Monique A

Whilst I wouldn't add it to a must do list while in NYC if you're short on time, the view from the observation deck (whilst pricey) is spectacular and I'd choose it over the Empire State any day! There are hundreds of stores, plenty of food options and great architecture. If you're in the area, I'd check it out

Barbara Lindner

love to go to bar 65 it is just amazing views and really good food Jean-Marie is one of my favorite servers there she is awesome. Drinks for very good however expensive there was one you can try for $375 with cognac. Don't panic though average drinks run $20 to $25. some of the best views in the city and I hear the men's room has an amazing view of Central Park. Worth the visit

Wally Anglesea

My goodness. This is a busy and amazing place. Beers are a tad expensive compared to nearby places, so you are paying for the ambience. That's fine. Sit at the bar in the centre for a few minutes before going to Radio City Music Hall ( which we did), or just soak it all up.

diana singer

My office is across the street from Rock Center, and I consider myself lucky to have to walk through it as I leave the subway. This place is an architectural and historic gem, with nooks and crannies and hallways and arches and murals and staircases that make you stop and pay attention. Read a little about the history of the building before you walk in- it will make your visit so much better. You can shop there, eat there, ice skate there, hang out there- it’s one of the great, classic sites in NYC. Not to be missed.

Cory Gude

Pretty cool area. Lots of shops inside. Can do tours of sets for things like Jimmy Fallon. Top of the Rock was decent. We had already done One World Observatory and Empire State so was really nothing special after doing the other two already. Of the three one World is better.

Elizabeth Toms

We went for drinks at Bar Sixty Nine. Didn't reserve, just turned up early at 5. We dressed smart casual but there were people there is shorts and trainers so the dress code stated online isn't enforced. Very expensive drinks but if you consider how much you'd pay for top of the rock then it's worth it! Amazing views and lovely cocktails! We stayed for a few hours and saw the view in daylight and at night. Totally worth it

Anne Fernandena

We adored this monumental complex of buildings and especially great painting on the wall inside one of them. In the early mornings plaza at front of main entrance very crowded because of live broadcast of NBC. Inside the main building visitors getting invited for taping of evening shows with comedian Jimmy Fallon. It took us about one hour to stay in line to get seats. And you have to taste REAL hot chocolate at Mason french bakery nearby!

Catherine Deitelbaum

A New York must! We have been here many times and they have so many options for both eating and shopping. In the summer, the skating area is an outside eating area, with drink, dessert and food options. An awesome spot and so close to the iconic fountain. Expensive, but worth it for the experience!

ABHILASH SHUKLA

It was the best view in NYC. I enjoyed my time to go all the way to the roof for that amazing view there I meet some interesting personals. It is located at heart of Manhattan such an amazing place to go to and have one the best experiences of your life.

Dicken Doe

Enjoyed the trip up to the viewing decks, and the building has a lot of slightly glitzy old world charm. Most of the shops are gift emporiums, but you can also grab coffee, food and so on. Busy at the top, if I went again I'd try a but earlier in the morning.

Jill Richardson-Pratt

There are so many beautiful photos of the Empire State Building taken from Top of the Rock but even they don't do justice to the real, breathtaking view. The top floor is outside and doesn't have any glass, so it's perfect for photos. Just remember to look up from your camera for a while!

Remona Koop

Famous historical location. Surrounded by various cafes and specialty shops. Was too hot to really enjoy day we were there.

David Le Guyon

Visit is perfectly organized and made easy thanks to many staff. View on Central Park is incredible. On the other side you can see the Empire State building and of course the Southern part of Manhattan. Not as high and probably not as well known as the Empire State Building, but well worth it.

Edwin Quinones
