Really limited mall, not great store selections beyond the basics. The vibe is pretty lax if your looking to run into somewhere to pick up a tee and run out without running into someone you know while your vegging in sweats. It’s disappointing because the location is so convenient for so many people. Hopefully this place will get a facelift and add some relevant stores. Also sears is closing if you were headed there.

Doing a lot of remodeling right now. Not a great choice of food from the food court, and service from the stores was average at best. In a pinch it makes it hard to pass up due to the convenience of all the stores in one location. We were shopping for my son's communion suit and we're extremely unhappy with the selection from all the stores. So we ended up ordering online instead. Best part of the trip was the cookie dough store by the food court.

I love this mall , it's a true local spot in ocean county , it's only issue is the food court is pretty small but I like the peacefulness of this mall and how I don't feel rushed here. Everything I need to buy , they have!

The mall has a few stores which either recently closed or are closing now. But over the past two months it seems to be much busier, holidays no doubt, but also with some new stores open and opening, and a new brew pub coming outside things are looking up for OC Mall.

Some people like Mega Malls. I used to be a Mall hopper and literally had to get a map (offered in several Malls) to find my way around and out. But I'll say this about my home town Ocean County Mall...it's large enough to tire your feet, and there is plenty to see and do. Eating is all over the Mall, not just restricted to the food court alone. (Many times my trip to the mall was just to eat just because of the choices) But being from Bergen County, NJ there's one major difference, "No Blue Law" ... They are open on Sunday here in Ocean County !!! And you can purchase anything that you can't in Blue Law land !!! That's correct... So remember, it's Sunday,

A nice mall! The only thing that is disappointing is that there is not much for a plus size woman. I'm used to it by now but we visited on vacation and I hoped to find something while I was there. H&M had a couple items, but that's it. Other than that great stores to check out!!

Decent size mall easy to get to in brick. Has most of your standard store. I like the sky lights that let in lots of natural light. Smaller food court and only one story but still nice for a stroll and some window shopping.

One of my favorite malls. Unfortunately a lot of repetitive stores but always a great shopping experience. Always friendly people working in the stores and everyone just seems to always be in a good mood. The Starbucks in this mall is phenomenal! Unfortunately cannot say that about too many Starbucks locations. Their food court is a bit lacking. But they do have several restaurants in this mall as well.

Has typical mall stores, but nothing fancy. No over the top amenities. No frills really. Kind of dark and dingy in spots. I appreciate the lack of crowds most of the time I go. Most malls are like ant farms, but this place isn't very busy.

The mall is a sad place. As a kid it was a social place to meet up with friends while parents shopped. Christmas time the mall was decorated so nicely while Christmas music was playing....now not so. So. Many. Stores. Are. Vacant. It's a sad time for the mall.

Went to Macy's and was able to get a dress for a wedding that fit my weird body and actually accents the good parts, by MSK, but I wished I had looked online while shopping because online it was also in royal blue. This way I could have tried on the black one for size, then ordered the blue one online. I also was able to get 2 swim suits. Everything was on sale - saved $100.

It a great small mall. Has almost all the popular stores. The food court needs to be rebuilt. Its the smallest food court I've ever seen. If you know what you want get in get out its that simple. I couldn't spend all day in that mall cause it's not big at all.

Malls are feeling more and more like a relic of the past. Unfortunately the OCM's closing stores and lack of interesting attractions make it feel more and more like a ghost town. They need to get creative and innovative to keep customers interested visiting when so many online retailers are offering competitive prices and next day shipping.

Used to be an awesome mall but has declined rapidly over the last few years. Food court is less then stellar and with most major companies closing their stores it makes coming here less then desirable. If they could have a nice refresh and renovation, this mall could come back to the glory it once had.

No ice cream place there. The machine for ice cream melts sucked my 5.00 and it didnt work and one of the kiddie machines sucked my 1.00 and lost that too. Think they should have people checking these things all the time. Put a real ice cream place in and we wouldnt have to put money in a machine.

I love this mall, however I cannot get over how terrible the new play area is by the entrance for JC Penney. It used to be at a different end of the mall and it was awesome. The only problem was that there wasn't a little door you had to open to enter and exit the play area so my son would run out of the open door area from the pay place to the mall. They tore that down and rebuilt it by the JCP entrance and it is even worse! There is NOTHING to do there now, and it is totally open. I can never bring my two year old there now. It us almost completely open and he can run out into the mall and he did when I brought him there yesterday. What a shame. The old one had a pot of things to do. This one is bare. Just terrible. Terrible planning and not convenient at all and I just don't understand it. There is a dragon, a slide and some foam blocks abd thats it! So disappointed.

Malls today's dinosaurs. We can watch them go by the way of the TRex or get out and actually shop and walk around. Anyone else see those predictions in Wall-E comping true ?? I do. This one has been redone but you can't not(double negative) see the end in sight. Empty stores is not a good look.

Location is convenient. They have great family events throughout the year. Trick or Treating for kids on Halloween. Crafts and such for Christmas and Easter. Unfortunately the selection of stores has declined with the increase of internet shopping.

The food is always good. Their Hibachi entrees are huge and delicious. It comes with a soup, salad and an ice cream dessert. The ambiance is nice, modern and relaxing. The servers are attentive and always get the orders right. The prices are reasonable. It's also BYOB. I think it's the best Hibachi restaurant around.

I am a mom. I need a communal space with activities for my kids. There is a very small square area dedicated to children, which is always packed with kids of all ages. If there was more to do for the kids in the mall, we'd go more often, especially in the winter when there is nothing to do. Tom's River as a whole does not provide much of anything for children.
