This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Decent mall. Good selection of stores for the size. Is not the Mall of America, but it is the Mall of Gallatin County.
Fun places to go and great food in the food court
They call me from their office and found my wallet very grateful didn't have to go to DMV to get new drivers license, was dreading waiting in line. But very grateful for staff calling me and glad I had my cell number in my wallet so the could call me.
Quiet mall with less than interesting options. RIP traditional retail.
Well layed out, clean. Nicer than the mall I left back in Quincy, IL. It's nice to have options in the food court, and it doesn't seem like businesses are fleeing like they had.
Great spot to relax and do some shopping and eat some food
Little guy in the suit has a bad temper, he walks around the mall like a stuck up rich daddy’s boy. Sorry for everyone who encounters him....
Fun mall, has everything you would want.
It's a good mall, but the stores target older folks and women a lot better than the teenage male crowd! Great place to shop for holidays! There is still gamestop, Spencer's, just sports, and hot topic for the younger dudes
Run of the mill dying shopping place. Multiple stores coming and going all the time, very few mainstays. Poor food court, nothing engaging about the place, best thing is a restaurant attached to it near Macy's. We'll see the death of the shopping mall I believe in our lifetime.
Nice place. Could use some more food options
In a time where malls are becoming a thing of the past, that is not the case for GVM. Every time I make it over to Bozeman I love stopping in and walking the mall and seeing all the live and vibrancy in GVM. They do tons of fun activities throughout the year and there is usually always something going on anytime I stop in. Keep up the great work of keeping retail business alive and well in the Gallatin Valley.
It's a pretty decent mall! Definitely a good place to waste a few hours of time. And good shopping.
It's an older style mall, interior shops. Nothing grand, but nothing bad. Our visit was primarily Barnes and Noble and the food court. The food court is small with an Orange Julius, pizza, Mexican, and Oriental. Maybe a couple others. We had Oriental. OK, and plenty. All in all, other than Barnes and Noble no strong reason to visit again or stay away for that matter.
GVM is a fun place to shop. There's a nice variety of stores and a couple attractions for the kids. It's in a easy to get to part of town and worth taking a visit if you're in the area.
Its okay. It is very clear that malls are dying in the US, and this is one of the few still alive.
The place is pretty dingy and has the hardest time keeping stores alive. I do appreciate it for the Macy’s, VS, and Apricot Lane though. Not sure why businesses just don’t thrive here even when there’s a need for more shopping choices by bozemanites.
Great mall! I came to Arizona over spring break and this mall has tons of great stores and it was also very clean, around the mall as well as the bathrooms.
It's a pretty lame mall...but a few good stores still.
Pretty nice mall, it's a small one though. Did not however have scooters for handicap
Gallatin Valley Mall needs at least one family style restaurant, like a Denny's, Perkins, or 4B's. For the amount of people who frequent the place, there should reasonably have a place to eat.
Thriving mall pretty full on stores unlike alot of other malls I've been to
Love the mall! Great place to shop and get a haircut.
Straight up the best mall I've been to In a Small Town such as Bozeman Montana. Great stops and Good Vibes all throughout every store. A lot of variety to choose from including Victoria's Secrets to even a goth store. Pretty much the perfect store outlet where you can find pretty much anything you need. The food court absolutely amazing as you can find pizza Mexican food and Chinese food as well as a smoothie shop and a huge arcade. Definitely recommend checking this mall out if you're looking for something to do.
Super quaint, people were all inviting and helpful
I think went to taco hell.. this too was great eating and order was great. Place was clean. Didn't checked restroom. The 4 star just because they forgot to put the Apple . Otherwise everything was great
$1 movie for the kids
Everything under the sun in a climate controlled environment food to hair to drinks and gambling and on the other end a movie theater, busy but not crowded a huge parking lot with many doors translates into a short walk in. Whats not to love! I rarely make it there but every time i do i am never disappointed. Also it is ALWAYS very clean and has many helpful mall staff members.
A bleak and desolate desert of consumerism and bourgeoise homogeneity. But I can get my laptop repaired there, and Eddie Bauer is always having a fire sale for some reason
Relatively small in comparison to most malls I've been to. Decent variety of stores. Food court is pretty lackluster.
Good place to go for an evening walk, Bozman really needs a bigger mall/theater. Lots of little shops to see and semi good food in areas. Barns and Noble just recently remodeled so go check it out.
My boys enjoyed the train models that were on display and I did too. Like that this mall has a book store, where you can see the books in person. Didn't like the bathrooms in Barnes and Noble. They were a disaster.
Great part store and very helpful staff.
Nice mall, you basics are covered, great theater complex with stadium seating
Nice small lovely place
It's the only mall in Bozeman. It has a movie theater, a Barnes & Noble, and some decent chain clothing stores but it's definitely one of the smallest malls I've been to. Food court is very small, not too many choices. It's not a mall you would spend the day at.
We really enjoyed the toy area. Good selection of stores. Seemed clean. Very busy. Had the little red fire truck kids carts you can rent.
There is a good variety of stores including J.C Penney, Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Hallmark, JoAnn's, Barns and Noble to name a few
Good place for clothes, food, what ever tickles your fancy
It's not a big mall, but it's decent enough for shopping.
The only shopping mall in Bozeman that is in need of rejuvenation.
Love going here. Take the kids (3, 2 and 9 months) here every other weekend. Food in the food courts always great. The Chinese grill is easily one of my favorites around. Plus while we eat the kids can play games and whatnot or dance around on the reacting lights in the middle of the mall. I would like to see more stand come up in the stretches of the mall seeing I have met some great people at them And miss the interaction and I don't mean the eye glasses and such they have now. The ones that look like random locals came in. Anyways great place to pass time buy and get a gift or to and fill your belly
Love the Barnes and Noble Book Store!
Worst JC PENNEY ever. Optometrist overcharged me at Lenscrafters. Nothing much to it. They have a Claire's!
This mall is tiny. However, it's always clean, hosts awesome community events (such as trick-or-treating) and has a good variety of stores- something for everyone.
It's a nice mall
The arcade and food court are fantastic.
They serve very tasty, high end sushi
Good mall that reminds me of the malls I visited in the 80s and 90s and are all empty now. I was able to find a lit of great items.
This mall was fun! We had a hard time finding the arcade, but when we decided to stop by the food court we finally found it. The Chinese food place there was soo good! I couldn't eat half of what I ordered, so I had leftovers the next day and it was good reheated! Next time I am in Bozeman I will be visiting again!
Pretty small. Love the Chinese food though.
Clean for the most part, except the bathrooms seemed a little run down. Department stores seemed a little lacking, but there were some great stores as well.
I have a difficult time walking due med issues. But the mall was clean, ppl friendly and the movie boys us on the east end. So there is a good variety of things to do or buy.
Nice clean mall. Good shops.
Very nice staff.easy in & out. The parking is a little busy.
Great shopping a variety of food choices. Very well maintained. Great people who work there
The people are really nice aspesaly the Starbucks workers, I asked for a water with whip cream for a dare and they were really nice about it.
Great place to go with friends, great people food and experiences.
The guy who works at hit topic was super nice and cool and patient with me when I was being slow
This place has unique and typical mall stores. Fun for kids as well. Oversize chess for any age can be played inside.
A great place for old people to walk in the winter
Super cute place. Good variety of stores and things to do all thru out the mall.
The Gallatin Valley Mall gets 3 stars from me because although they have a few unique stores, half the mall is completely empty from places going out of business. The bathrooms are in a dark hallway next to the trash compactor and it smells terrible. If they upgraded things, I'd give another star. Unfortunately, the mall is going the opposite direction.
Not that much different. Are indoor malls still relevant?
It's a small mall, but the right size for the area.
It's mall, went for h n r block, lady was really nice
Could be better with how fast bozeman has grown
It's a quaint mall with decent offerings for locals and those living in the valleys. Has ample parking spaces and the movie theater is right here too. Makes it easy to shop and take it easy with a new movie without having to fight traffic.
Surprisingly good mall, even though I've never been fond of malls to begin with. Good stores, good food, nice floor attractions, crowded but not packed.
Great to go to a real mall
Mall itself is seeing reduced foot traffic. Good sized parking and location, needs a rebuilding overhaul to keep up with the current growth and progress of Bozeman. Demolishion, then two or three story rebuild keeping with the historic exterior look of downtown, walk thru the doors and you are transported to the breath taking modern world combined with.... "Montanaism", (view the interior of the airport...modern yet outdoorsy). That with offering merchandise from the top of the line/groundbreaking retailors would make the mall something to behold. I was born and raised here, not much has changed from the mall since then. If no upgrade to modern, then take it all the way back as a tourist expo with the red carpets, polar bear in a case, and poor lighting with cigarette smoke drifting out of the game arcade...... Take it back in time, or remodel and upgrade to the times. Business is suffering due to lack of innovation, the rest of bozeman marketing is prospering while the Mall lags behind.
Can get lost easy but it would be nice if they opened more fun things like a mall train and such
A lot of stores have been pulling up stakes and it's probably b/c of this rediculous sliding fee scale they charge their vendors! I don't how anyone would make money at the G.V.M! As an assistant manager at Footlocker back in the day I have a little insight to their shady practices! Otherwise, as the only real mall in 150 miles, it great! Lol
Ok. Nothing special. Small
The mall was clean and nice for what it is. The store selection was lacking compared to larger malls that I’ve been to in Colorado. The movie theatre was disappointing but is great if you do not want to drive a long distance to go to a better one. I would recommend the soup and salad restaurant, it was pretty good.
Fun place to go to on a cold day
Nice little mall, has the usual department stores and a fun arcade next to the food court.
Small but has some good shops
Great place to bring the kids on rainy days!
This is a fun little local mall. There is only like 20 stores and their "food court" is like just 4 restaurants. They do have a movie theater. There are some major brands like Joanns, JC Penneys, Barnes and Noe and Macys. There is also a Bath and Body works. Otherwise it is mostly local business. It was fairly busy when we went. Seemed clean and well kept. Just a little small in the offerings.
Nice mall
Havent been but s couple times.
Great place to grab a bite to eat and do some shopping and a arcade for kids
Best mall in BOZEMAN lol
Small but clean, lots of shops.
So many places so little time! Barnes and Noble is great, foodcourt is full of diversity and its clean!
It's a mall. It's kept clean but store selection is pretty generic. Most stores are priced appropriately but others are victim to tourist tax. Food selection is mediocre (Do not eat the pizza place, Asian food place is good though!).
It is great, but I think the jumping thing is a bit overpriced.
Decent mall. Only one plus size store.
Thousands of people wandering the mall and not a damn one of them is watching where they're going.
Very nice and clean.Mall has a variety of choices to shop and choose from.
Small but very nice and convenient
Was actually going to taco bell. I get off work at midnight, got there and there was a 10-15 car line and took them almost 35 min to get through half of it.
Penney's store. Helpful. Used coupon for sale. Associate knowledgeable and friendly. Had what I wanted in stock.
Small mall. Ok on a rainy or snowy day.
Fairly average shopping mall with one story. It has a good array of shops and various stores on its plaza, in addition to having a fairly confusing entrance from the highway
I went there to have my prescription updated in my glasses at Lens Crafters. Superb quality and service as usual. Thank you LensCrafters.
Bright, fun, vibrant! The kids loved the play pad.
Been updated nicely since I left in the 90s. Barnes & Noble was great. Had some great conversations & ordered books. Also found books records & movies I wanted.
Great local mall with a lot to offer. Honestly my favorite part is the food court lol they have fantastic and authentic Mexican food which can be very hard to find here. I will make a special trip back to this mall simply for the food. Oh and the shopping isn't half bad either.
fun single level mall to walk around in. we like bringing the kids on cold days to push in the stroller here. they have a Barnes and Noble which is fun to visit and also bring the kids to! there's some great local stores here as well such as Baby Logic and we bought both our great mattresses from Night's Delight :)
Way better than the mall in Great Falls
One stop shop .. Don't miss out .
An extremely small, sleepy mall. Not a whole lot to do here. Fun for kids under the age of 10, because they have a nice arcade located in the food court. Barnes and Noble seems to attract the most visitors.
Nice mall!
Wonderful, even though we were sent to the wrong aisle. Found everything fine. Cashier was friendly. Experience was fine
Cool mall but quite small. Definitely gets packed during peak season/holidays. Lots of great shops within though.
3/5 because often times it smells. Needs better ventilation or something. Also can't keep stores worth a damn. Smh
Just wish there were more shops!
Pretty decent mall considering there are two empty malls just a couple hundred miles from this one and there’s no reason for that other then greedy owners who charge too much for rent!
Started with coffee at Starbucks and Barnes and Noble ending with some food at the food court. Overall excellent
Great mall, I’m happy with it!
Its to bad they dont keep up The outside of that place is in terrible need of repair. The back looks like junk yard.
Loved it, people everywhere with smiles and the stores we visited were well stocked and the help was great..
Yes, it’s a small indoor mall. But with the population of Bozeman about 45,000, what do you expect? My husband and I decided to take a look after we had dinner. One store that interested me was the Montana Gift Corral. There’s all kinds of western themed items. But it was the young lady working there who impressed me. She was so friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember her name! We did not realize the mall closed at 8pm and we kept her a little past closing time. She was so sweet about it! Whoever she is, she needs a raise!
Nice mall, but needs more stores like Sephora, Burlington Coat factory etc
This mall is a joke and the staff are super awful. I spoke with them about opening a store here for a franchise I own and they would barely speak with me. No wonder malls are dying.
Great shopping, entertainment and food is awaiting for you. Has a Regal Cinema theatre too. There are 65 stores inside the mall. Loved the mall experience! I'm a shopping nut anyway. Enjoyed my time!!
Small but fun
Lots of parking, lots of choices, not so big you can't find your car afterwards, don't have to walk your legs off to get from one store to another. Wish they were open longer on weekends.
Pretty good store collection
If we could please bulldoze this sad dinosaur of a mall and start over with the mall that bozeman needs and deserves, that’d be awesome.
Nice mall, good shopping, small and food court is limited. Overall a good place to visit. Website is normally up to date and they do good planning events for all.
Was cool inside, however there iş no re-fill water , no public restroom at all.only in MARCY store there s a restroom. marcy shop is the best for sport male female kids shopping Manu items re on şale! Inside Mall also you can find montana souvenirs , crazy shoulderbag, tshirt shop inside ! Kids play room was quiet but usefull for families I really admired it. Book store AT the end WAS SO BIG AND I M HAPPY TO SPEND 3 HOURS THERE !
Mall is cool. Need to go more often. Lots of stores to shop at and people watch if you are into that sort of thing. No trapeze artists or elephants. Maybe someday.
Love shopping there great stuff
This mall is a dark reminder of the looming fall of mankind; it's sad floors, dead light bulb ratio, and neglected interior give this tiny mall a post-apocalyptic mouthfeel. Also the bathrooms look like the structural equivalent of that one scene with the T-Rex from the original Jurassic Park.
Bullmans has recently made an appearance to The Gallatin Valley Mall, as a daily and hardworking employee, it is easy and fast for me to call in and pick up some food. The staff is so so sweet, and from coming in quite often they know me by name and know exactly what I want. They really can put a smile on my face even if I am having a rough day
Riddles is the place to go and bath and body great customer service
Billings rimrock mall is better but this was decent.
It used to be a better mall
Largest carpeted mall in the u.s! The mall staff is fantastic to work with. The shops are decent. The local shops are great! The digital floor in the middle of the mall is great for kids to play. Food selection is ok, nothing to write home about. All and all for a mall in Bozeman it is pretty good!
Love it here. Used to work here and they give you a lot of benefits as a mall employee. Additionally they management go out of their way frequently to go above and beyond for customers and security xoxo
Nice selection , small but fits the needs of the area.
Good vsriety, a bit small.
Good for shopping
Nice clean and great variety of stores
I love this place there so much places to go
We come here with our kids (3, 8, 13) on a nearly weekly basis. We all enjoy one aspect or another. We adults start with coffee at Starbucks in Barnes & Noble and mosy on down. The food ranges from decent (the pizza $) to excellent (The Bay $$). The arcade and VR are neat additions. There is the trampoline thing and play pad for younger kids as well. There is a private room for breastfeeding in Baby Logic, which is wonderfully accommodating. Baby Logic is also the place to rent some fun ride-on animals for kids or adults. Unfortunately, the bathrooms throughout the building are lacking. Its not fancy by any means but if your looking for a somewhat small, comfortable mall this is it. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit--right? Its worth a stop at the very least if your looking for the mall experience.
Stores for the whole family. Kind of pricey stores. Decent food court. Little arcade for the kids. Over all okay mall. Could be better but can't complain.
The Bay is an excellent restaurant and there are so many great stores. A good place to get a quick chair massage. Also, it's a nice place to power walk when it's too cold outside.
Bustling and busy on Saturday afternoons, it's lively and a bit slow to navigate, especially with small hard to spot maps, but still just as fun.
The mall sucks, mostly. It’s sort of a joke. Most of the stores aren’t really worth going to. The highlights are the theater and The Bay, which has dang good food.
Good variety of stores
Fairly small mall, but it's always clean.
Is it a 5-star amazing experience? No. It's a very serviceable, small, indoor mall. It has some key stores - a great toy store, Barnes & Noble, Victoria's Secret, Game Stop, and Macy's. It also has quite a few independent stores. It could be much better with a larger food court and a couple of other national stores - H&M, American Eagle, etc. It's clean, it's well maintained, and it's in a good location. No real complaints.
Nice place to hangout but need more stores to choose from
Like my new glasses from lense Crafters.
Some of my favorite stores are here
Horribly overpriced, even for a mall and very limited on what is offered
Nice small town keep.
Info on mall and store hours is not it's on Internet. Doors are locked with no sign which are open on Holiday. Frustrating.
Pretty sweet place.
I'm here right now! I love it!
Good restaurants and good selection of stores
Eh. Not enough good stores anymore. Management isn't as great as it was about 4 or 5 years ago. Only real bright spot is s ok me.of the younger style stores.
It's small but nice
