Also includes a church, mattress store, indoor playground (rental activities), Snap's fitness, a thrift store, Charter Spectrum, and a couple others. More a collection of businesses rather than a real mall. At least the space is not sitting vacant!

I remember back in the 70's when it was called the "Miracle Mall". The two anchor stores were "Montgomery Wards" at one end and "Tempo" at the other end. It is now what they call "a dead mall". Not the fault of the owner. It is just a sign of the times.

My husband and I went to the Winona mall on a Saturday afternoon after my hubs scored a point at the competitive Winona State Ultimate Frisbee Reunion . We thought, why not jazz things up a bit...and jazz it up we did. First off this mall really does have it all, from sushi to a Christian style thrift store. We won bouncy balls in the dart themed skeet shoot, and we played a fantastic round of golf and baseball pinball. There are world class massage chairs available if you are feeling achey but don’t want to pay one of the many chiropractors in the area. Careful of the timing, as you will find the barbers closing at 3:50pm on a Saturday, and the snap fitness magically closed as well. The best part of the mall, and the “must see attraction” is the trick drinking fountain (picture attached). Push the knob and water will fly in your face... and wall for free!! It’s an amazing feet in this day and age! God bless America, and God bless the Winona Mall 2018!

Lets not call it a mall. Their are some good places here, but it is mostly a conglomaration of local businesses. Their is a fitness center, church, liquor store, playground, gymnastic lessons, and sushi. Um....what?

The Winona mall is a local joke, legend, secret? The rumor is that it used to be a mall in the eighties but business was driven from this location because of its high rent. Now, it has a sushi bar, a fitness club, a GNC, a Christian resale shop, batting cages, and an indoor jungle gym. Local oddity? Yes. Mall? No.

With a new owner of the Winona Mall, I expected a positive change, yet, It seems we have more of the same- outdated infrastructure and unpopular shops providing an undesirable shopping experience. The Mall is kept alive by sushi, tanning, and booze - the three businesses people actually go to. Not surprising, when people go shopping, they don't go to the Winona Mall because Walmart/Target and a myriad of other businesses are right down the street offering the same services (besides the sushi) at a lower price. Would rather have it demolished and turned into something enjoyable/helpful for the community. Better off to Demo the old Kmart and the mall and turn them into apartments/ houses.

The Winona Mall is rather sad these days, but still has a few reasons to stop in that bring me back time after time. Here are a few reasons to go: 1. Ocean Sushi is the only sushi place in town and is possibly the best restaurant in town. 2. The Playground is an indoor playground aimed at younger kids who are otherwise stuck inside all winter. It's open all day and is a lot of fun. 3. Kids sports - Gymnastics...one of the best in the state. 4. A liquor store. Other than those, it has a coffee shop, a mattress store, and charter.

It lost its anchor store, so traffic has slowed and parking lot has fallen in condition reflecting the inevitable future of this mall! If it doesn't replace the anchor store, I do not think in my opinion it can't sustain operation much longer! Although the businesses it does have would compliment any anchor store! It has a kids indoor playground with employees to monitor security and safety, sewing machine shop and lessons how to maintain and operate your machine, restaurant, ect.

To call this a mall is kind of misleading. There are a few stores inside mostly Thrift and consignment stores. Ocean Sushi is there, and is by far the best part about the mall. There's also a playground area that charges a small fee for kids to play around in. The hours are wonky as well
