You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is positive, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
Looked old, deserted during our visit. Luster missing.
The place was dark, dead, & the music sounds creepy. Some of the stores aren't up to date either, & alot of them were either closed or closing, but at least it was quiet & i had more room to walk!
I got a deal at JCPenney Optical on progressive lenses in December 2018. The lady was extremely helpful and full of information. She really worked hard to get me the right frame for my face and lens. The deal was better than Walmart and these glasses from JCPenney don't scratch like my last ones did. I highly recommend going here for glasses especially when they're running promotions.
I remember when this mall was booming. That was years ago. Nowadays its unfortunately a ghost mall with most of the stores closed. It seems the jewelry stores haven't suffered though.
Its always a pleasant visit when i visit. Its clean and staff at every store is friendly
This was a decent shopping mall. It has a jc Penney which was why we went here in the first place. I was pretty impressed by how many different stores there are. Visiting from Windsor, I would return to this neighborhood again.
It's been failing for years. The mall is falling to disrepair. The escalator to the emporium was broken for almost a year. I've heard vendors complain that security is unresponsive. Management seems more concerned with cost-cutting than making it an inviting place to shop.
This use to be a really good mall, i love that it’s local and that it’s still here but everything is shutting down, still some good stores left there, it’s sad since it’s been around for a long time Hopefully they add good stores and make it live again I noticed some riff raft comes through, I guess it’s anywhere really
Good service from my sales associate at New York & co. Started out skeptical.
While it was clean, it was dark, dreary, and just dead. I'm actually surprised that this mall has made it all these years. I still have to give it a couple of stars because we found what we needed.
My kids really like the play area here. They like that they can jump around and have fun after a long day of shopping.
Hadn't been inside Westland Mall for a while, and it's very sad how many empty stores there are. I know malls are not doing well anywhere, but its very hard to see it in person. Especially when its one that's been around for as long as I can remember. I hope things change, its a good place to get lots of shopping done all at once, and also to walk around, get a little exercise. Especially when its freezing outside or hot, humid & sticky! Good luck to Westland Mall!!!
So sad to see it so empty . Whats left is nice. But it used to be so vibrant .
Mall has decent stores within. Kind of sad to see the empty spaces especially from Macy's. Able to find good deals and still has a good amount of open and functioning stores. My girls especially love Windsor, Claire's and justice. New York & Company is always a go to. And they still have decent places to eat such as Olga's and Subway.
I hate to see Macy's gone. This mall is boring!!
We especially enjoy the body jewelry kiosk, they have some of everything there. The mall is clean and they have a good selection of stores, plus Santa and The Easter Bunny visit yearly. The stores change out often enough to keep it interesting but not too much that you get disappointed when you don't find a store there you got used to shopping at. This mall is centrally located in Westland, there is so much to do out there. Makes a great day trip and gives you a chance to find some great things you can't buy anywhere else.
Still a thriving mall after 50+ years. I'm 67 and remember going to lunch at Hudson's as a newlywed. It has all the store you look for in a mid range mall. My granddaughter and I found Claire's and had a ball!!
I used to come to this mall all the time when was I was younger and it used to be the hotspot for my family ,however, in the past 5 years it has really gone down hill. There is barely anyone there and alot of once popular stores have closed and many have little business. This is probably partially due to the craze over online shopping but also other popular malls elsewhere and the general decline of the area itself.
Inside stores are very neat and clean employees are very helpful in stores that I shopped in but outside area definitely needs attention/ debris cleanup
This mall seems to be going down hill. Not a lot of stores, really no local sports stores, like Michigan sports apparel. And they only have 1 restroom.
Still one of the best malls around. Pretty clean. Lots of stores. Laid back, tons of parking, diverse crowd. Somewhat dated architecture, but hell it's over 30 Years old, I believe. Dance studio in the basement. Ashley's Pub in the parking lot. What else can ya ask for?
Empty . Good shopping❤️
I'd like to thank hot topic for having nothing in my size, more Xtra smalls please.
Nice shops... browse through sporting goods.
This mall need to get more school shoes like black and what but still bball shoes
Call staffing storm awesome place to shop
I love this mall. First of all it's safe. Second and most importantly it has carpet. I love the stores and did I mention the carpet? Oh man it's got everything you want now a days in a mall. The Sears is awesome! The Ulta is sweet. Lids is really cool. Lots of neat kiosks. Pretty yummy food. Just go there already!
I ALWAYS shop here. This is store.. I have lived around Most of my Adult life.
Always find what I need here :)
SAD what this mall has become..used to hang here when we were kids. Now stores are closing and it's dead all the time.
Not as much traffic as other places, always find what you are looking for so it’s a nice place to get your shopping done
Had to wait but service was great
In dire need of anything good to happen to it. Probably going to close soon and turn the surrounding area into a complete dump.
I mainly went there because kohls is in that mall but my son n i went to spencers.
A few stores closed like Charlotte Russe, there is no food court, there is a Pretzel Peddler, Olga's, coffee shop. Claire's is where I went and that location had a pretty nice one. Over all my shopping experience was good. The mall is clean, parking is convenient.
Going here makes me sad. I grew up coming to this mall, and I remember it ALWAYS being a lively place, with lots of GOOD stores, and it was nice and clean and modern. Now you walk in and there are so many closed up stores. Even Macy's has disappeared. Everything is being replaced by garbage. Malls are depressing these days now that everyone does their shopping online.
Super kool staff very tech knowledgeable
Had to make an exchange. In and out with no problem.
Westland shopping Mall is okay. You can find little things here and there but there's really nothing to choose from in that mall meaning they don't have much in their mall. I only go to buy gym shoes or makeup but as far as clothes that place is empty.
Not a whole lot of malls left in my area but Westland mall is the greatest mall. Lot of stores to choose from. Hung out there as a teenager now I'm picking my grandchildren up from their favorite mall.
This mall is a joke. Apparently store there can close at any time despite the time listed on the malls website or stores website and the security will back them up. I was sent there to pick up a pair of shoes and the store had the gate partially down. It was 8:15 so I proceeded to go in anyway because the other store had told me they were open till 9. One of the cashier snottily asked me if I just walked in so I honestly answered yes. She told me they were closed and I said no you close at 9. I proceeded to get the shoes I came for but she yelled out to the other cashier not to wait on me. They walked away from the cash register and called security. I explained to security that another store had sent me over and this store said it was open till 9. He asked me to leave as well. They didn’t have a problem waiting on the other people in the store. Wasn’t sure if this was a race thing or just typical for this mall but I won’t be back.
Clean mall and the stores are a good selection.
Smoothie King! Love it and they're nice
I’m sad to say that this mall is declining fairly fast. Alot of stores have left, and the mall doesn’t seem as safe as it used to. It’s a shame now that you have to drive all the way to Twelve Oaks for some decent stores.
They cool, they shut down a lot of stores though...
It's a decent mall. But bathrooms are hard to find!
I love the Westland mall I wish more store were there
Nice place .Took my daughter she loved it.
I love this shopping center! It is always clean and kept up. There are a lot of great stores and restaurants. I love the area also. It is a great place to shop.
Such a beautiful place but like many other malls it's fading.
This place is a shadow of its former glory. Kohls, Vicky Secret, Bath and Body Works, Sears, Penny's, Hot Topic and Spencer's are the only real stores left 7 out of a mall that could easily have 30 stores. It's slow, quiet and wont last much longer. Those stores are nice so if your looking for those that's perfect. Even shoe carnival gets the busiest at times. Other then that 12 oaks or Southland have the same stores plus more. I go because I know some of the employees and it's close to home.
Westland shopping center is the best the employees are great very helpful very professional totally recommended
Used to be a good mall....now, not so much. A lot of stores left, there is no longer any security in the parkinglot, and you can almost expect tumbleweed to blow by when you're in there. I go for GNC only really....and maybe if I need scrubs.
Stopped in for VS and BBW always a pleasure grabbed s ok me Krispys on the way out
I like this mall a lot, mostly to walk around in. Compared to the other malls I’ve been to, there isn’t a huge variety and it’s pretty small. It’s still enjoyable and if it has the stores you’re looking for, then definitely go there. If you’re someone looking for a large variety of stores, this may not be the place for you.
Too many vacant stores it's like a ghost town makes me sad I was one of the first people there after it opened hopimg for a bounce back
You got Grego Westland Shopping Center is big they have Large parking lot plus I think the SEARS shopping is still Open
I like the convenience of a smaller mall . It takes less time to get to your favorite stores
Went to Hot Topic. The workers were as helpful could be expected.
I love this mall but it is slowly declining. There needs to be more open stores there alot of them have left or closed down such as Express, Wet Seal, Macy's, Payless, A & W, looks like Metro PCS closed, Charlette Rousse, and Charming Charlie.
Sadly, this is another example of a mall dying a slow and drawn out death. However, it’s still alive and it’s a staple of Westland.
Bathrooms are literally in in the basement down some random hallway. The stores are okay. Overall its an average Mall, nothing special stands out at this location.
Ate at Olga's the food was excellent as alwa6
i remember the arcade where the verison store is now in like 2005 lol way to many hours I spent on DDR
Love shopping here. Lots of good places to go. Wish they had a bettter food court. But the stores make up for it lol
I used to come to this mall quite frequently, but now that A & W is closed among a few other stores, it makes me sad to be there. I miss the days when malls were thriving, now they seem to be on their way out, no matter where they are located.
Good parking eazy in and out multiple stores good for walking support local business
There's a new store that sells skirts called THE HOUSE OF SKIRTS next to ULTA Beauty and I think it's wonderful they are adding new stores again!
