You have to shop often because inventory changes quickly, but you can get name brand products for department store prices. Tanger has a wide variety of high end stores. Around the holidays, they have coupons which you can use at most stores. My daughter got a $500 dollar purse for $80 yesterday. The only downside is that you need to go outdoors between stores.

I love this outlet. It's full of so many great stores and I live how it's laid out with kind of a courtyard style. We went in November and it was awesome.

I really hate outside malls! Unless it's nice and warm outside. Parking is horrible and too much walking to find the store your looking for. Also they have coupons in the office if you can find it but don't get sucked into the VIP scheme unless you shop there a lot

Beautiful outdoor "mall". It has really pretty walk ways and some pleasant landscape added so you can enjoy the day in between going in and out of stores shopping. It is sort of maze like and easy to get turned around but there are large map/signs in the walk ways. Cell phone reception for a few carriers is spotty though. There is a great variety of shops, even a couple to keep the husband entertained. It's a really fun place for a day shopping trip when you dont want to be stuck indoors

We're from Jackson and have limited options for shopping so we make a trip to Grand Rapids a few times a year. Love the open air feel of the mall! It's beautiful and a truly unique atmosphere to experience here in Michigan. My family loves it!

Overall great. Several empty stores but they do have some really good ones (Kate Spade, Talbots, Express, Carter's, Skechers, to name a few). There is a hot dog stand often set up which is nice (and super tempting with it's delicious smells). It's an outdoor mall in Michigan....so it's cold most of the time and the set up creates wind tunnels that just bout knock you over. But we come back often. Parking is weird and a bit confusing. I also wish they had better direction signs on exactly what lanes you want to be in to go which direction on the highway. The entrance traffic can be a real nightmare.

Not many good name brands, the styles are just OK, maybe too old. I don't want to come back after the first visit. But there is a new coach bag store opened recently. That is a bonus. Otherwise, I think woodland mall is good enough for people living in the city.

Such a great design for an outlet mall. Not only do they have all the latest faves, but they also have events that are a lot of fun such as farmers markets and sidewalk chalk festival etc. Lots of space to just wander and not feel rushed make it the perfect shopping experience for me

Cool places if you have money to burn, want to walk around in the out doors but still want to do some shopping, or if you have a thing for hipster moms. This place is huge, has a ton of stores, lots of bathrooms, benches with charging stations, etc. Plus the complex was planned out in a fun way, it's like a modern game of thrones shopping mall. Giant fire pits and stuff next to the shoe store in the center of the labyrinth. Neat.

I'm new to the outlet mall thing and I have to say Tanger makes me feel spoiled! Their shopper services is AWESOME! I can leave packages there as I visit other stores, I get free beverages and popcorn, their receipt uploads for perks and discounts is quick and simple, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely worth the extra effort and drive to shop here.

Amazing place. You must become a member. It's a 1 time fee of $10 and u got a free coupon book EVERY TIME you go and you get access to the VIP lounge. There you can sit, relax, watch TV and they supply you with free drinks like water, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. And every month you get 1 free snack. With all of that you also get VIP parking which allows you to park closer to the stores instead of parking in the back and spending 10 minutes trying to find your car.

I do enjoy Tanger outlet mall. The place is always kept up very nicely, good selection of stores, multiple bathrooms spread out through the entire property, cute seasonal decorations and fun music. I joined the club for $10 and I’m not regretting it one bit. I got a free jewelry case as a welcome gift and then got to go in the lounge and get free coffee fresh fruit and a variety of granola bars. There was also comfy seating in a place for my kids just to take a break before we continued.

I love stopping here to charge my car. The out door speaker setup and multiple free WiFi locations are very nice. This particular day they had a bunch of people drawing on the walkways between the stores.

Beautiful place to shop. All the stores are wonderful. Great customer service at the Tanger service center. Love the complimentary kerig lounge. Outdoor atmosphere is decorated towards the seasons in which we are in. Creates cozy shopping especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Love this outlet.

I like Tanger outlets across the states. Being an outlet mall, you don't see many people in one particular store. So, I always try to visit Tanger whenever I'm driving down from Toronto. Pretty decent deals and you get a discount coupon booklet as well with 20% or 15% etc off, so do visit Tanger Customer Service Center before going to any stores.

There are some great shops at this Outlet mall. I especially like White House Black Market. The prices are great and the selection is wonderful. Some of the stores aren't really so discounted like Michael Kors but a lot of the stores have really great deals. The one thing I wish they had more of though AR places to eat. There is a Subway, a pretzel place, and a place to get a piece of pizza but that is about it. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. The members-only room is worth the membership! Coffee, hot tea, water, snacks, great place to rest and regroup when you're shopping.

The mall is aesthetically pleasing. There's a good variety of stores. I can't say that the stores I shop at truly offer outlet prices. Parking can be difficult on weekends and busy times. I don't go too often but visually, it is a nice mall.

Shopper Services = AWESOME! They really are so friendly and helpful. They told us about signing up for a $10 lifetime membership which includes access to the lounge, as well as coupons to the stores, that are normally $5 a book to non-members. Members also receive parking passes for designated areas. The lounge is nice and offers a place to sit and relax, water, coffee, phone charging options. It's really great. The stores have a lot to offer too. Every store has super friendly staff, and are very clean and organized. They tell you all about the sales that they're hosting, and are happy to help you if you get turned around or lost. There are places to sit out the rain (if it rains), but also a place for a controlled fire and sitting area in the middle. Great place to spend a day!

Nice, new outlet mall is on the near outskirts or Grand Rapids. Plenty of parking with good access to multiple entrances of the mall. The mall is outdoors so in winter can be a little... interesting but the design is very good and a great place to be on nice days. Good variety of stores.

My kids always love the play area. It is nice for parents as well because it is fenced in with gated access. Their outdoor space, in general, is very nice and well kept. The only downside.....they need more options for getting food.

Sign up for the tanger club and use the app for the coupons. Saves the lines at the welcome center. Good selection of stores. *Note* some stores are retail and not factory or clearance outlets. They will not offer major discounts vs. their retail equivalents. Great layout and bathrooms are always very clean.

Very nice shopping outlet. There were tons of options for labor days savings and I enjoy the various stores they have there. Not all of us can afford high end stores so I was happy to see stores like Old Navy there (this is not to speak negatively of old navy, I was happy to see the store there for I am a frugal spender and can not afford stores like Kate Spade.)

Really nice...park and find all the stores you want to patronize all together. No driving from 1 parking area to another. Alittle chaotic drives to come in off 84th street....a couple lanes..and if you had not been here before as this was my 1st time..its kinda confusing. But definitely a nice outlet mall.

Outdoor mall. Many stores to choose from. A lot of them are outlet stores, so you can get some awesome deals. Only downside is there aren't really any food options other than a hot dog cart, a pizza place, and a subway. But there are restaurants a short drive away. I live in Kalamazoo but the 30 min drive is worth it for stores like adidas, Kate spade, and Michael Kors outlet.

Lousy parking. Weather turned rainy, got soaked walking (or, running) back to the car because all the shops are facing inward, away from the parking lots. Definitely designed by someone that never experienced Michigan weather. Nice collection of stores, if you have the time to walk to everything AND the weather cooperates.

Tanger has a wide variety of stores including places to eat. It's easy to stop in and buy exactly what you're looking for or spend hours walking and browsing through every store. The outdoor walkways are clean only thing you need to consider is the temperature. If it's cold make sure to bundle up between the stores!

Nice store selection at this outlet, and cute setup. It is all outdoor, and it is not really possible to park near the store you are going to if you are there on a specific mission. There are hardly any food options, making it undesirable to spend a longer amount of time in the mall. Definitely not my favorite shopping center!

Example: converse high tops are $55 on their website, but listed in store as $60 retail but now only $55. Journey's prices them $55 here and in other stores. Only a couple food options. Overall average. It's nice that its outside and has a good selection for clothes, shoes and accessories but it's no better than any average mall.

I gave the Tanger Outlet mall 3 stars because I think overall this concept is a scam. These modern outlets are simply more retail locations with very small savings vs the regular retail locations. Do not expect huge savings like you got back in the early days of outlet locations. I do admit we have hit some stores during a sale and have seen some great deals during those special events, however on a regular basis you might get lucky to see 10-30% off regular retail prices. I know that is nothing to sneeze at, especially at some of these stores. But in the past it was not uncommon to see 50-60% or more off at the outlet store. This location is set up nicely, and they have some nice special features like food trucks and a farmers market. There is a nice variety of stores, and it seems to continue to grow. Not a bad shopping experience, it should just be called an outdoor mall instead of outlet stores imho.
