I was in the bathroom and a cook from the Nordstrom kitchen came out of the stall and ran water over his hands with NO SOAP and went back in the kitchen. I will never eat here.

I love Nordstrom but the customers service in the Top Shop area is always horrible. Most of the time they are on their phone and when they do acknowledge you, forget a greeting and a friendly how can I help you. When the transaction is done they normally shove you the receipt and it's back to their phone. Head to Annapolis if you can or just deal with online purchases and returns.

Got lunch today at the cafe. I ordered the Salmon Caesar and there was literally barely any salad in the small sized box they provided. The piece of Salmon was laid on a thin layer of salad. Very disappointing for $17.00.

Store was kept up well and items are laid out with plenty of space in between to move around. Variety of items is limited in this store in every department from what I typically see in a Nordstrom store. Staff was ok, there is a parking deck right across from the store.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Customer service is horrible, All the employees are either to busy having a group conversation or they have attitudes. It saids they have a lot of designer items In stock that I would like but when I come into the store they don’t have anything. The store needs to bring in more upscale/ high end clothing. The customer service here has been horrible for years, that is why I rather take that long drive to the Towson Nordstrom or Tyson’s corner one because they have great service and all the designer items people like. I will never spend my money at the Columbia location because of how it is being ran.

I have a dairy allergy and told the server upon ordering my food. The sever put allergy 4 times on the ticket. I get my food and with 3 bites left.... there’s cheese. I told the manager who returns laughs at me. If you have an allergy beware that this place thinks you’re a joke.

I am especially pleased with the lingerie department at Nordstrom. Even though not every size is hanging on the rack, they have quite a large variety of bra sizes including those with very small band sizes and very large cup sizes. They are the only lingerie store I am able to purchase bras from in person. I also appreciate the fact that they can convert any bra into a nursing style bra!

This department store is very spacious, and every inch of the hard floor is shiny, as if someone is cleaning and buffing every day. I did'nt like Nordstrom's...the inside area of the store is large..but the selection of merchandise is small. For some reason the inside of the store is roped off into certain sections..making it hard to walk around inside....i will never go back there again.

I made a purchase from the beauty department and was confused by the lack of checkout counters. So confused in fact that I honestly could not tell who worked there and who didn’t. I walked down about 3 rows where there were a couple people in each row, but no one looked up. Finally I get to the last row and 2 women who did work for Nordstrom asked if I needed help and I said yes, I wanted to make a purchase. So one of the associates motioned me over to the register but there was no where for me to go so I sort of stood a bit away from the register, behind her. And then the other other associate said that I could move up so I did. As I’m completing my transition, I forgot to press the ok button to send my debit payment on through and the associate reaches over and presses the button herself. Now this didn’t really bother me but it just felt a little impersonal. If a counter was between us she most likely would have had to tell me to press the ok button instead of doing it herself. It just didn’t seem right.

I want to report an associate named Fannie, she verbally assaulted my friend. She told he she "gained weight in her stomach and needs to work on it". "You have gained weight from your last picture" My friend has lost over 200 pounds and is rocking her health goals. I have never felt so small and Powerless witnessing this blatant disrespect. I have never been in a place that has ever made someone feel no worth, I do not care if my friend was a former employee 7 years ago, she was there as a customer. I will not be frequenting nordstorms for their overpriced, lack of merchandise, and rude customer service!!!!

I love shopping in Nordstrom, however this location looks nothing like a Nordstrom. The brands you can purchase here are the same brands you can purchase at any other Macy’s or Dillards. No samples on the fragrance department, and no variety of brands. Selection of clothing is a little bit better than shoes or beauty, but not worth it going here. If you want something, get it online.

The best big box store at the mall. Very well organized and staff is super friendly and will help you find anything even if it's not their department. Their shoe selection is great and they have a dedicated section for women's designer shoes. Their Semi-annual sale is probably the best time to get a deal or when the season ends. They have a cafe upstairs if you want a quick bite. Consider browsing online and picking up in store if you want to make a quick trip.

This is what I enjoy most about this store: staff is helpful when you need them, and invisible when you don't. I've only shopped here a handful of times but whatever their system is, it's one of a kind and allows for a very comfortable shopping experience unlike other high end stores I've visited. I just wish they had a larger selection.

I absolutely love shopping at Nordstrom because the items are of a high quality (with high prices, of course). The only issue with this particular Nordstrom is that the service is simply not what it should be. Compared to the locations in Bethesda and Tyson's, this place certainly falls short.

Even though it is an upscale department store, everyone is welcome an the environment caters to everyone with easily accessible bathrooms and mother's nursing station. I personally enjoy shopping for accessories. The store is clean and the items streamlined so they are easy to find.

I am not really interested in Nordstrom since the major makeover. The store decor looks like mini boutique stores. I see more aisle space than merchandise. It seems not busy. The Petite selections are limited and not exciting. There are more trendy items for young people like torn and skinny jeans...not my style. Not crazy about the jewelry section. The Fine Jewelry store no longer exists. I am not crazy about the new open concept.
