This rating is for the mens section of Nordstrom. When I walked into the mens section I expect to see what I had seen online. Nordstrom buyers you are cheating our men and you are cheating your stores of a great buy. Men don't necessarily look for sales, they look for Quality, outstanding detailed designs of clothing. Needless to say I was in your store yesterday and I was looking for the designer "Maceoo"! They have a handsome collection online, but when I came to the store to view it, you did not have not one item on sight. I want to touch, feel, hold against my skin to see if I really love it for my sweetie. That was insane that your sales rep wanted to send me to a store call "Zara" to find what I was looking for! So now the sale was completely lost. I was very insulted by that after tell the sale rep exactly what I was looking for and you had nothing to compare. I have 3 special men I purchase items for year round, and I want to be able to find what I am looking for right away or something close to it. I should not have to order 5 different shirts online to make a decision, I want to see at least 3 out of the 5 in the store to have some idea of what I am buying or May need to order later on. And by the way, from what I have seen yesterday, the mens section is really your worst section in the store. I will be forwarding this letter to the head office as well. 2019 is on the way in the door, get ready to enhance your men shoppers to purchase.

It's a Nordstrom. In a mall. The best part about it is that you can walk through it to get to the rest of the mall. Pretty neat, eh? You can probably get your shmattes cheaper elsewhere, but if you're in a Nordstrom's already, then you probably know that.

When I went to shop for a suit, a sales representative called Paul did not want us to be there. From the very beginning, he was annoyed, and shouted at me for no apparent reason. Well, there is a reason, it is bigotry and racism. He literally told us to go shop at a cheaper store, although I was looking for a particular color and looking to buy. He lied about the sales Nordstrom has until August 5. He again shouted and said I told you to stay over hear like I am going to steal. Never in my life have I stole anything ever. Two other customers of European stock were treated normally by the same sales representative called Paul. A sibling of mines wanted me to go with him to Nordstrom to pick a shirt for his wedding. I didn't want to go but he insisted. As soon as I enter the store Paul walks to the walkway stands and stares at us, as we head to the men's dress shirts. Even though this happened after I spoke with his manager. I walked out of the walkway not in fear, I don't fear him or anybody else but I didn't want to see his negative being.

The ladies in the lingerie department are great. They are so patient and attentive. Most women wear the wrong size bra. I always recommend my friends to go to their Nordstrom and get fitted (it's free). They will also work with you to find the right bra style and fit. It will improve your posture, the way your clothes look and fit, and your general well being.

I love this Nordstrom store...customer service is courteous and usually on point, the store is clean, has a good variety of items, and easy to navigate around. Sometimes, it is a little bit of a challenge to find someone to help out in departments like beauty/cosmetics/accessories and juniors shoes. The one and only staff present seemed to think based on the clothes I was wearing that I did not qualify for her attention or help. Judging people by what they dress (especially in an area like nova) is a good way to scare off legitimate business. Most Nordstrom's are not like this, and this one is normally not like this either, which is why it is getting 4 stars instead of 3.

Good service, prices are to be expected from a mall outlet, good sales tho, they had everything I was looking for and almost all the right sizes, can be hard to find everything in the right size but the staff can usually find it if it's not immediately available. Was helped very quickly and politely and made for a smooth premium shopping experience, definitely would reccomend! 4 out of 5 cause sometimes larger sizes are hard to find or sold out but that's to be expected.

Nordstrom is the best of all department stores--but they do not have enough help on the branches near me. I have waited more than 20 minutes on line to pay for a purchase. More important-- even at their discount Rack branch, Nordstrom pricing is outrageous compared to fabulous value stores like Marshall's, where I have snatched up incredible buys like $169.90 men's cashmere sweaters on sale for $49.90.

I purchased a Bonobos suit from here. I decided to get some alterations done. A week later I received an email saying that my suit was ready. I showed up a few days later to pick it up. To my surprise, one of the key alterations was not done and the suit was nowhere near ready. Jonathan Bates assured me that everything would be handled and taken care of in an expedited manner. The next day he personally called me to tell me that all my issues were addressed and even returned the alteration fees. He handled my problem with great professional care. I will definitely be back to shop and request his assistance.

After a terrible experience getting fitted for a bra somewhere else and even at this location it was awesome to get fitted at Nordstrom’s with Kiki ! She took all of the stress out of bra buying and educated me on what I should be looking for in a bra. She took the time to listen to my wants and needs and didn’t try to pressure me into any sales. Even better, she didn’t just throw bras at me and go about her business. She helped me put them on and adjust for the perfect fit. I love all of my bras and can’t wait to wear them. Her manager also came in to make sure everything went smoothly. With Valentine’s Day coming up, I’ll surely be back! I hope I’ll be able to work with her again.

Just had some disappointed experience at Nordstrom cosmetic department at Montgomery Mall location again yesterday. In the beginning, i was being helped wonderfully on choosing the color of Armani foundations by one of the Armani beauty associate - the “wonderful” associate. Yet, I told the “wonderful” associate that I needed to walk around to decide which color that I wanted since she put two shades on my face and a lip color (I didnt ask about what lip color or lipstick she used on me because I wasn’t planning to get). After walking around the store for like 15 mins and looked into mirror with different lighting, I went back and decided to get the lipstick for sure. Yet, the “wonderful” associate was helping another client. So, I told her that I’m getting the lipcolor for sure and just not sure which one I had on (it’d be a lovely color for my baby shower in a week). She mentioned that it’s a lipstick and in color - Smile 100. I just waited aside for her to be done with the current client. So, I can buy it from her and she could receive the commissions. While I was waiting, another associate tried to help me by asking her what lipcolor that I had on. This time, the “wonderful” associate told the other associate a different color. From the moment, my mind told me to slow down since I don’t want get something that I don’t like. I tried to wipe my lips with tissue while comparing the lipstick applied on tissue directly. None of the colors that were mentioned by the associates matching from the wipe off my lips. This time, the other associate was like the lipstick came off from my lip won’t be the same as applying on tissue direct. I was like ok... yet, nothing else was offered. I would have thought she would try to offer me try on to see which one to match. Anyhow, I took out my Nordstrom card and ready to buy. Yet, still waited for another 15 mins. No one tried to offer me help. And, the “wonderful” associate was finishing to ring up the client and still didn’t acknowledge to help me after. I waited for few more minutes and decided to leave. It wasn’t the first time I had bad experience at some beauty counters at. this location. Definitely, these bad customer services drove me away to different locations (Tyson’s always excellent!!!) or online shopping only. 7/18/19: I just wish the customer service will get improved at this location.

They where stood and watched me and an elderly client look for shoes without sending someone to assist until I looked at the cashier and another sales guy that was doing absolutely nothing. I heard her ask him to help and he shook his head and told her to ask Hector. Not sure of his name but he was a very young guy. He was the only one with good customer service. We left empty handed.

I had lunch with a friend at Nordstrom’s Cafe today and we both ordered our long time favorite “Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad.” It was truly tasteless, though I appreciated the decent size serving of chicken. I found one leaf of cilantro throughout the whole salad and never tasted any lime. I think the food has gone downhill since it became more of a restaurant with servers taking your order rather than the customer ordering at the counter. I much preferred the old system and the quality of the meals.

Ahh! Glitz and high-end all the way. Don't shop here if you are on a budget or looking for a bargain. A great place to walk around, sip a coffee and people-watch or chat with friends. I'd give it five stars but for the aggressive kiosk for Dead Sea products that get up in my face. I confess I enjoy trolling them: "are you telling me that I'm ugly? You say I look old?" Maybe if enough people do that they'll learn some manners.

I recently went to this store and was quite disappointing. I have shopped at this location for years and here are some observations: 1. The men's shoe section was non existent. Gone is the wide range of styles and manufactures/designers. In place are the same same bland styles from just a few brands. They were featuring Cole Hahn on one table. That used to mainly Macy's and L&T. Meh. I kept walking around looking for something different but it wasn't there. To Boot looked just like the Cole Hahn table that looked like...anything else there. Why have a shoe section? Sad because that's what Nordstroms was built upon. Less is not more in this case. 2. Plenty of salespeople which is great in the mens section but not much to choose from again. The brands are disappearing, just like in the shoe section, which means variety is disappearing. 3. The upper floor where my wife was shopping looked like they were going out of business. Name brands, again, were gone replaced by, well, not much. I saw Hugo Boss but that pretty much was it. It's all very sad- brick and mortar retail as we know it, is slowly dying and disappearing.

I am giving it two stars because the lady that helped me located by the womens Jean's was very helpful. But I had an issue with the lady who rang me out at the Bobbi Bown counter she didnt ask me for my email to get the points Nordstom offers for every purchase come to find out the lady never gave me a receipt and used her norstroms card to get the points. When I returned the makeup so she could get me all of my points I find out the lady used her email at the Bobbi Bown counter. Find that very unprofessional to first steal points for themselves by not even asking me and trying to be sneaky by not putting a receipt in my bag.

I love Nordstrom. Hands down my favorite Dept Store. This is not my favorite location though. Customer Service is inconsistent in various departments. I return because it's convenient to my job and because of the Store Manager, Nicole (who is fabulous) & one of the cosmetic managers(Clinique), Verneta. Nicole addresses issues immediately and appreciate her level of service. The catch 22 is you would only seek out the store manager if you had a problem. The comfort is knowing she will for sure fix whatever is broken. Which is why I return. Verneta is by far my favorite Nordstrom's employee. I go out of my way to look for her every time I enter into the beauty department. Without fail, she gives me 100%. I wish she could be my personal shopper.

Few weeks ago, I went to buy some stuff from Nordstrom Montgomery Mall, and I was approached by a guy named Lee who works at Laura Mercer section, and I told him what I needed to buy. The guy was very prejudice, he treated me in a very disrespectful manner, he prejudges people without knowing anything about people who comes to shop at Nordstrom. When I called Nordstrom Laura Mercer section to check for products, he hangs up the phone on people not willing to assist with anything. Mr. Lee has very negative attitude and very unprofessional manners towards some customers, it happened few times, now I’m forced to NOT shop there anymore, I’m going to shop at Neiman Marcus.

Great shops. Quilty is great but its expensive as well. Its a big mall with a lot of shops. Theres two level in the mall. And different entrance, there is 5 or more ententes. There will be a map of the mall next to the escalators. I can walk in there for hours and have a lot of fun. Theres a food court with verity of good options.

My mother and I used to consistently shop at this location’s women’s department a while back. Their customer service used to be impeccable, but things have changed for the worse! The department looks scanty and disorganized, plus the workers are so unfriendly. It’s hard to find anyone for assistance. The personal shoppers that once used to greet you at the door are long gone. How disappointing.

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Bethesda (now I reside in Boca Raton), and have purchased very fine articles of clothing from here. I remember purchasing a gray beanie for the winter, and bought my friend Susan a blue sweater which I shipped to Australia. I have also purchased North Face jackets from here for the winter, and they were reasonably priced. The quality of their clothing still astonishes me to this day.

One of the best experiences I have had in Maryland! Grace who works at the Kiehls stand in the Nordstrom’s was so warm and amazing. I never heard of Kiehls but thanks to YouTube I saw that it was a great brand to start using for preventative measures for our skin. Grace recommended that I get a complimentary facial and make some purchases then to get the full experience. That was the best decision I made! I met Stefanie and she was so knowledgeable and kind. She should definitely own her own store with the amount of information and knowledge she has about health and beauty. Honestly, I rarely walk into Nordstrom’s simply because I’m not the shopping type BUT I know where to go now when I need to buy items for my face and skin. And I’ve found two friends (Grace and Stefanie) who are truly assets to the store. Please visit their stand in Nordstrom’s!!
