We've got all the reviews of people who buy the products and services of Crystal City Shops (Mall) in Maryland.
Right now the firm gets a rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 and the score has been based on 3557 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is quite positive, and it is based on a high number of reviews, so we can conclude that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give scores when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Nice place on a hot or cold days
Great little underground shopping strip.
Nice array of produce and well presented.
This is a terrace connected to crystal city fashion center. It is all food and drink here (different restaurants including starbucks). Open area for outdoor reading, kids playing, lounging w a coffee. It is handicapped friendly and is a beautiful (upscale looking) property. The only thing I dislike is the pay for parking here.
Very nice place to catch some free AC but check out the hours before you go. Easy in / out from metro.
Traffic getting here is the worst! Better watch out for traffic cameras too. I typically try to avoid coming here, lol
Beautiful area. A lot going on in the evenings. Its like a hangout strip.
Great way to get around out if the weather!
They some some decent options, but the reason for the 5 star review is Schakolad Chocolate Factory. That shop is fantastic and has great products, tasty, and great service. The options are really fantastic. The owner is super helpful and will work with you to create or customize orders, and add a personal touch. Everything I've gotten there has a been a hit, including boxes made of chocolate, chocolate lollipops for Halloween and a baby shower, chocolate turkey, chocolate phone, chocolate Navy sign, chocolate money, chocolate cigars, etc. Highly recommended!
Typical metro off shot of small stores and places to eat. Great underground art efforts here so definitely check out the artist areas. Safe place to walk with easy access to many popular exits. Great way to get out of the weather and still navigate Crystal city.
Great place to shop. Very nice place.
Convenient and connected to our Oakwood Crystal City apartment.
Convenient to dc and Amazon
Nice place to pick up souvenirs
Nice walkable area near all the major hotels.
Decent place to get lunch. Shoppes are mediorce
Quite fun to walk around and see what you can buy
Cute. Small but expanding. Good prices.
My wife and I love staying in this area when we visit Washington DC. Lots of shops, stores and restaurants to chose from. Access to the Metro for quick visits to monuments and museum in DC and surrounding areas.
Nice little shops in an amazing area. Great small shops with a great atmosphere
Rare find- some sort of a maze of hidden shops. Nice to explore.
Very good shops and food places
Pretty shopping center but the shops are CLOSED ON SUNDAYS! Only thing open was Subway. The parking garage is confusing even for the DMV. The exit signs are extremely unclear and guide you to the residents only exit. I won't be back.
This is an eclectic group of stores. I think they have trouble trying to find businesses to populate this interesting area. I am wishing it the best because there is not much retail in Crystal City and the neighborhood is striving to find an identity.
I shop here every week very nice place to shop
Nothing really there anymore. It needs a make over fast!
Great facility with all different types of shops and restaurants. There is a live Theater as well as barbershop & hair salons. The shops and facilities are well kept, very clean and open during normal business hours. The Crystal City Metro …
I went to rite aid. It's warm & inviting on the floor(lowest level) where the stores/shops are. Lots of availability if your interested in leasing. New shops are coming.
Lots of everything. Most shops close relatively early on the werkdays
Nothing special, just an area of shops underground. Not much there you would use, a few restaurants are ok.
Great place to see art, culture and eat different foods. The stores are pretty nice and the area is beautiful
Employees need to be able to speak English and understand it. I couldn't pay for my purchase because the lady could not tell me the price!
Cool. Artsy. Lots of shops and deals. The entire strip has some great stores. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Food and bakery near. Photographer friendly. Parking structure and deck. Love it and will return ASAP!
Very well organized to say the least
Cool place. All underground. Nice shops
There isn’t much shopping but the system of tunnels under the buildings are really cool!
Love to shop here also has good food court
Cute crystal shop hidden in the back left corner.
Pretty cool little underground shops. It is under construction so there are less shops than last time.
Clean and cool. Easy to navigate
Mostly closed when I was there but I get the impression that one should be able to get ones every day needs there.
There’s nothing here, unless you’re a 40+ year old woman looking for an expensive boutique. The quick food stops located along the street are very convenient, but the shopping is weak. There’s really no reason for a store to open up in this area when the mall is so close AND has a great selection.
Very nice, great food and wonderful scenery
This place is SUPER convenient! If you are in the Marriott for a conference, this network of stores provides a level of convenience that makes travel fun again. You can eat, get groceries, room snacks, get a massage, get your hair done, and do a yoga class. Ask your concierge for a map to the shop that suits your needs.
A necessity when it's 10 degrees out. These hallways are not patrolled by security so that is somewhat alarming if you're a single woman walking through here at night.
Despite the name, there wasn't really much in the way of shops.
Bright and clean. Shops seem to be doing good and food court is good
Super fantastic Crystal City shops with ♌♍
Not impressed. Saw lots of businesses but no retail shops.
Always clean and a.lovely shopping experience!
F if I know. They were closed, but my review will follow later. The area is very nice
I have come here multiple times for Meetup groups at The Landing, an open area within the mall. These usually happen after a lot of the stores close. Pros: The Crystal City metro stop literally exits directly into the mall, making it a super convenient place to get to. There is also a good underground parking garage, which is free at night. The Rite Aid is huge and stays open late. There is also a big Mexican restaurant with a bar that stays open pretty late. And there are multiple places to get a snack or quick meal earlier in the evening (Subway, kabobs, bubble tea, chocolate, sushi, pretzels). Cons: There aren't enough places selling clothes or other things I would shop for. Among other things, there are a hair salon, a party supply store, a store selling collectibles, and a Pivot physical therapy place (Btw, I had physical therapy at a different Pivot location and they were great). It's a great piece of real estate, but somehow it doesn't seem to be taking enough advantage of that.
Very nice mall every thing together Macy's Zara Victoria secret Aldo banana Republic guess food curt etc..
Super crowded and a lot of young people. Great stores, but if you want to go early or late it's a great place.
It was awesome and amazing
Bought a few things for co- worker's.
Fantastic underground avenues shelter you from weather while providing easy access to accommodations like hotels, shopping, restaurants, and more. A convenient place which also connects directly to the metro rail.
Great quick service & variety of merchandise.
Very clean. Great area for family with kids to shop and walk to the metro(crystal city metro stop) from.
Always a favorite of mine, makes a great walkway during cold weather to reach other businesses. The small sushi bar is good!
Lovely shopping area, great restaurant around, drop by you will enjoy it .
Such a cool area. Very convenient & accessible with it's own metro stop.
This mall is huge so many stores to shop in . I came from Rochester to visit. Beautiful Mall
So much in one place. Good spot! (Aggressive homeless people, but good shops)
Super cool place. We ate at Subway and purchased items at the Market Pantry. Loved it. Clean bathrooms also.
The shops that were open were cool but more shops are needed down there and with a variety. So pop up boutiques that rent space for 3 months or more at a time would give variety and new entrepreneurs a chance to get there wares out there.
Not impressed with the shops at this mall at all. Did really love the outdoor ice skating next door and the shake shack! It was also easy to access the metro to get around DC from this local to hotel.
Crystal City Shops, even during the remodeling, are individual underground treasures, each waiting to be discovered, unwrapped, then explored and experienced. It's always such a treat to go to a new one. Treat yourself!
Love D.C. area lots to see and do Transit system is on time love it Need it in Detroit Michigan
Nice clean mall with a good variety of retailers and food choices
A surprisingly interesting place. I imagine it once was more of a shopping mall, but today it is filled with all manner of art galleries and artistic related companies. Definitely not something you would expect in the rather stade Crystal City area. Worth checking out once or twice, maybe more if you're really interested in buying art.
Nice house made chocolate
Exactly what you expect from underground shops in Crystal City
I visited the chocolate store and it some of best tasting hand made candy around.
Great assortment of brands, foods, and novelties. Both practical shops and others.
Beautiful place since it's been renovated. I love the shops, they are a bit pricy, but have great stuff. You must check this place out.
Fairly typical inner suburban shopping mall. Mostly chain stores and restaurants (although a couple of mom and pop places as well). Lots of parking nearby. Worth popping in to if your are there, but nothing about this to make it a destination. Lots of intriguing restaurants on the street just outside of the mall.
More food than clothing
Walked this halls for almost 10 years.
Nice little collection of shops and eateries underground connecting to hotels and the Crystal City metro station
Is under construction/renovation. Lots of shops were not open when I visited.
Very easy to find your way,
Not what it was in the past. No longer looks very appealing. Better restaurants are along the outside on Crystal City drive.
Located near very well maintained FREE quality weekend parking in Crystal City.
Under renovation. Looking forward to new shops and restaurants.
Fantastic underground avenues shelter you from weather while providing easy access to accommodations like hotels, shopping, restaurants, and more. A convenient place which also connects directly to the metro rail.
Our experience was totally festive. Just stopped impromptu at Legal Seafood. It's always happy times when dining at Legal.
Not quite what we expected. It is an underground maze with some stores. Probably fine if you live there or are looking for a particular thing but it's not really a browsing place unless you like to walk, a lot. Having said that if you like art then there are quite a few galleries that are well worth a visit. We did have nice lunch there and it was ran and well presented. Just not for us.
Really cool spot right at Chrystal city metro stop. Good variety of food and shopping as well. It's a very heavily trafficked area and they offer a lot of options as a result. I wouldn't travel out of my way for it but it's great having it right there if I ever need it.
Love chocolate this is the place to go
Very active shopping experience- live music, flashy decor and all!
It’s very cool and nice evening when no rush hours parking is not bad
Actually, it was "Legal Sea Foods." But hey, shop away while getting some delicious clam chowder (not the family recipe, but tasty nonetheless), and other delectables, in the interim. And I definitely wasn't in Texas anymore. The "bowl" size was more like a big cup. The DC Brau IPA was OK, but nothing like Dog Fish Head. Nice outdoor patio seating for the remarkable sunset weather as summer dawns.
I loved the eaters, it was a good experience
There are truly some hidden gems here. I still can't fathom how the stores stay open
Good place for board gaming Meetups on Fri's and Holidays. Restrooms closed after 1030pm .
Always a nice experience, places to sit and relax in common areas...
Beautiful location. Many shop selection s
Nice place to get out of the weather to go shopping or dining. One side can be confusing; if you're coming from the Metro, go in the right side as this has most of the shops and restaurants. The left side is sparsley populated and directions are less than helpful.
One of the best shopping spots in Arlington
A pretty busy little area with a variety of shops with food, trinkets, mailing, and shopping. Its very quiet on weekends but during business hours its hopping with people as busy as bees. The food selection is surprisingly good and varied. It's not horribly expensive either, especially if it's the daily special.
Great place and a neat atmosphere. A lot of the shops we're closed during my last visit though.
We had an Awesome time. My husband really enjoyed his celebration and it excited him to have the cheesecake and ice cream with a candle to sing Happy Birthday to him. Everyone had a great time and the food was fantastic. The whole party was …
Great shopping if one likes old fashioned malls with a wide variety of stores and a full food court and surrounding exterior shops, restaurants, and bars.
Located right in the heart of soon_to_be new development National Landing, one of two Amazon HQ2. This retail area offers the usual chain franchises scattered about with some interesting small shops, restaurants and galleries catered to diverse tastes, convenient metro access with clean, well lit layouts and tons of indoor underground parking (some free after 4pm and on weekends). The latter makes it an excellent place to stash your car all day_my primary reason for being around here_ for the daily short five minutes commute to DC for work or weekends excursions. Kinda quiet traffic intersection on the way to some other places amid a few brightly colored though tired (former gov) office buildings that have seen better days, it's still a good area for walking/exercise and people watching. Hurry and snap up a cheap 400K high rise apt before the tech hordes invade:)
Great spot for a boardgame meetup. Lots of food options. Well lit. Garage parking available. Elevator access. All one could ask for. No one bothers you and its considered normal.
Nice underground shopping mall. Parking is confusing.
They are about to start renovations! Yes, there are stores still there! Still one of my favorite places to visit!
Amazon will transform this place before you know it
Crystal City really needs to get an upgrade that's so dated so old I feel really funky just walking through the place not something I want to do
Nice view, envoriment and classic
It's a novelty to be able to shop underground. But many of the stores and restaurants are expensive so it's definitely not for the budget conscious.
Some places were good
Most depressing place in the DC area. Food options are terrible. One star is too high.
I really don't understand how most of these shops stay open and hope that the Amazon HQ brings in some better options
Can be difficult to navigate first time
Great place to spend your Sunday afternoon. Beware that most of the stores close at 6PM on Sundays
The maps and directories are always out of date, and there are a lot more places to eat than shop both underground and at street level, but I like this place. The photo exhibits are incredible!!!
Awesome place to shop!
We loveeeeeeed the idea and design of the shops. Coming from Michigan were there's NOTHING like this, we were in awe of the fact that you could shop indoors, access everything directly gettin the hotel and the convenience of the train which takes you right to the Mall in D.C.! Our only "gripe" (if you will) is that there's no accommodations for disabled/ handicapped people. They're should be more ramps (in addition to the stairs) or lifts (there was 1 outside of our hotel entrance). Other than that, it was awesome!
I remember when this place was full of shops... It is like a ghost town now. Seriously, nothing to see here.
need a shop? come here
Conveniently underground (out of the rain) and within walking distance from my Hotel. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Grabbed all my meals here for about a week.
If you're in the DC area this is definitely the place to go shop and Bop around. The Metro goes right through there it's a beautiful beautiful little spot
Very confusing area. A little bit dirty and everything closes at 7
Has a good variety of stores and eateries without ever having to go outside. Very convenient but I do miss the Starbucks they used to have not too long ago.
Nice location! Various different stores underground. Great for walking on your lunch break, or grabbing some dinner or picking up other miscellaneous items. The Synetic theater is located there as well as is the metro.
What a beautiful shopping area. Many great restaurants from fine dining to fast food.
